App is both slower and less functional than the website—they should offer all of the same filtering options (school districts, yes, but also multiple distinct locations, personalized filters with notifications, and commentary). The mobile platform could be a much greater tool for them.

Ok app with issues

Cannot save home as favorites - either in an already existing list or a new one created. Favorites comes out empty. Not sure how creating a nice functioning app is so hard for such a prestigious re agency - amateur developers can do better.

Secure

While not as functional as their website at least the app appears secure. Their website has not been secure for months. The mobile app has also experienced location issues especially with listings from other brokerage firms.

Easier To Use Their Website

Can't delete previously saved searches. Can't change the order of homes in the favorites list. Once a home is viewed, it becomes VERY small and light gray on the map, so it's hard to notice it ever again (this function also cannot be reset). Clicking a home theoretically enlarges it on the map, but this is so subtle it's not noticeable. No way to easily see a favorited home on their map, because the default is to display homes in your immediate radius. No cost/sq footage info. Pictures are too small. Their website is easier to use and more informative.

Search by school district

I don't see how to search by school district. Where I live school districts cross town lines. The biggest reason I use your website is that I can search by school district. But your app doesn't do that. Back to the website.

Great App for house hunters

I love this app. Very user friendly, connected to the current real estate information for homes for sale. The app shows every home on the market in your current location and more. Tap the price and see all the information. Contact agency directly to get more information or an appointment to see it. Try it, you'll luv it.

Love this app

I am looking for a new home and this app is awesome. Whether I need to find what houses are near by or proximity to a specific location this app has helped. It's up-to-date with actual listings and no scams that wasting my time! I can easily connect to an agent and schedule appointments to see anything I want. I rely on this app in hopes to get myself a great home.

New Houlihan Lawrence App

Awesome app - I've tried them all! Point to a house to get info about it, use your finger to draw a search area, so many cool features and easy to use. Reliable data fed directly from MLS. You'll love it!

Dont even bother

The website is so much more user friendly than this app! You can pick the towns and school districts you want to search. The app doesn't give you that option and instead you can only search in the area shown on the map, making it necessary to run multiple searches. No thanks.

Needs ability to filter by school district

I use Houlihan Lawrence's web site to search for homes in Westchester because it is the only site that can filter directly by school district. Unfortunately that feature is not available on this app. So I still use the web site.

Best NYC Suburbs Real Estate App
