My Husband and I have visited Half Moon for our Anniversary for several years. Each time time they have exceeded our expectations. The Resort is relaxing and the views are absolutely stunning. The service is top notch. You won’t be disappointed.
Love the hotels, the reservation system, not so much
The hotel selection is great within the Iprefer realm that I’ve stayed at. The technology, not so much. The site often takes forever to cycle through to each pages. Doesn’t keep you consistently logged in through the process so you have to log in several times. When you try to book through iPrefer be sure that it doesn’t redirect you to the hotels main page. Customer service through iPrefer is helpful. Hotel staff at NOMO are not. Called twice and got hung up on. The customer service at iPrefer could not get through to them either.
I stay with Preferred close to once a month for a week at a time. Every time upon check in, I’ve asked them to confirm that my iPrefer account is listed on my reservation. Every time it’s been confirmed, only to find out that it was in fact not. After following up with customer service, I was told that it was not possible to add my previous stats to my profile and that I should start confirming my account upon check-in. I’ve had this circular discussion over 5 times in 2019. I’m most likely going to stop staying with them.
The new app that was released last month is so much better than the old app. It’s much easier to find the hotels you’re looking for, manage your I Prefer membership, and book hotels.
Searching for hotels is now more intuitive and fast. Love the options of nights with points and nights with points + cash! Looking forward to more trips to Preferred hotels this year!
App shows many properties, but does not show my past or future stays. Does not show my past activity or the details of my points accumulation. Also does not give me info about different tiers of membership status, how to reach them or what I earn as a result. Booking functionality seems to be ok, but I can’t use this app to do anything with my points - assuming there’s something that can be done with them ...
The app rarely works. Like now, when I would like to make a reservation at an i prefer hotel I will be staying at this weekend. My data must be confused with someone else because my number now has someone else’s name on it according to a hotel and I get emails for someone else. Even if you do accumulate points they really aren’t worth much. I like your hotels please fix the app.
I’ve been trying for 45 min to book via this app. It constantly asks me to log in and make my selections, and then I get an error message and start over. Same thing happens again and again. What a joke of an app. Sadly will cause I Prefer to lose business because who has time for all this?
I have been looking at using this App for some time however, it keep bumping me off even after deleting & reinstalling the app several times. I really like the convenience of booking via an app but when you can’t get in it becomes frustrating. I will have to book elsewhere (other hotel groups)
The hotels are good yet the app is horrible & needs major work. Because of constant problems logging in & getting the room reserved I don’t stay at the hotels anymore because it’s too much of a hassle when all my other hotel brands have app’s that are easy & quick to get a room. Come on people
Stay away from iprefer! I am a business professional and never had to write reviews until this service. I did not get the points for my two stays. I then tried by email and by phone and still have not received my points. I would not recommend!!!!!
This app is down majority of the time when I go to use it for days at a time! It also does not show your history of points within the app. Would also like the option to add to Apple Wallet like all of the other apps.
Like other reviewers have mentioned, I cannot see my upcoming stay on the app. and another technology glitch, when I open up the emails on my iPhone that are coming from my upcoming stay at an iPrefer brand hotel ..... blank. I have to go back to my Xfinity app to read them.
I stayed in a hotel for one week each month building up points. However, points recently went to zero and I emailed but never rec’d a response. I still travel a lot for business and for now until this is straightened out I’m no longer staying at this chain.
I keep getting locked out and when iPrefer resets the password the link has expired. I have hotel rooms to book but can’t access my account. I will have to book with another loyalty program.
Can’t even log in. Tells me my password is invalid instantaneously, before its even had a chance to connect to the Internet and authenticate my credentials. Website works fine. Clearly this app is not a priority for Preferred Hotels. Recommend saving your smartphone storage space and deleting it.
I booked my reservation using the app and the description included parking, wi fi and gym facilities. When the hotel sent the confirmation, the promised additional services were not included resulting in additional charges of $75. This app is not worth it
The hotels are wonderful, but the iprefer system stinks. I have been asking for months to have my stay points credited to my account and they simply don’t do it. I’ve sent the copies of my receipts and asked the hotel I stay at monthly to help. Still nothing....
It worked when I first downloaded but I tried to launch it today, and it crashes. Seriously? Tried reinstalling the app. No dice. What a waste of space.
Although I enjoy being an I Prefer client, this App is unacceptable. Every time I use it, frustration ensues. Sign in frequently problematic and navigation is anything but seamless and user friendly
While it’s a nice-looking app, every time I try to update my profile (i.e., set my birthdate) , the app suddenly closes on me. :-( Maybe I’m doing it wrong?
Crashes upon opening every time. Doesn’t matter if trying to access via Wi-Fi or cellular. For a company that has such nice hotels, the app should be a point of embarrassment. Fix it or just don’t have an app.
No FaceID or even the ability to remember my login info? A luxury brand like this should not have such an amateur app and technology interface (the website is hardly better)
This is the worst hotel website I have seen. Specifically, it beaks down every time I attempt to make a reservation. It also does not provide a record of upcoming or past stays.
Used the Forgot Password link 3 times, changed the password more times than that. App tells me it’s the wrong password every time. No thanks. Must delete and it’ll be my only stay.
Not a very good service. Have to ask many times at hotel to get my points... more or less useless to me due to limited and expensive choices. Most other chains offer better!
The app does not track open reservations or previous stays. Useless don’t bother. Call the hotel directly so you don’t show up snd they don’t have your res. It happened to me
It’s not integrated with its own functions. It doesn’t track my frequent stays at your resorts. And when I go to submit an inquiry on the app your systems asks me for my email and account number, all in the same app. People - this in 2024. Not 1984 when you guys would have issued me a plastic card. Get this right!
Downloaded in hopes I could see my upcoming stay. Nothing there, and no way to even add a reservation number. App needs a tune-up, or maybe a total redo.
