Over the past several weeks I have not been able to use the app due to nothing more than a loading screen and the only remedy I have found is to delete and reinstall the app itself. It is quite frustrating and should be a top priority in any coming update.
This app is crap. And never stays updated. The bank are crooks. I have banked here for less than a year and it has been the worst bank I’ve ever used. I decided to use this bank as it was the closest one to me at the time. Yeah don’t make my mistake. Costumer service is awful. I would recommend keeping your money in a cookie jar, or even in your underwear. It’s much safer than putting any money into this bank. The one star reviews normally carry a lot of weight with them, for good reason. Maybe on day this bank will care about its costumers but it is not 2020. Update: Can’t give negative stars but if I could, this would be the app to get them and the bank. The app never stays up to date, your balance is never your actual balance. They can’t keep up with their charges or deposits. Some transactions will be “pending” for over a week. I’ve never had a bank as terrible as this bank.
This app is clean and easy to use. Everything is laid out in a way for you to find what you’re looking for, and access the features you will use the most quick and conveniently. Love the personal finance manager and the ability to have a snapshot view of my finances in one place!
My husband and I switched to this bank due to us bank closing its door in our town. We got the app, both accounts show up in his app but not mine. Is there a fix for this, and yes both our names are on both accounts. Poor quality app
This app redefined monile Banking! P2P is easier than any other banking app I’ve had. Bill pay, transfers, financial tracking- This Independence Bank app has everything I need, right here, literally in the palm of my hand!
If the banks want to insure our safety as they say, then I feel like the mobile app should be the top priority. I shouldn’t have to go days or weeks without having access to my funds via app just not working! Please just get this fixed it’s very frustrating and will honestly go to a different bank, because I’m obviously not valued at this one.
I think the app opens on every 10th try. For example, not once this week has it opened for me. The worst part is I no longer expect it to open when I try. I’m now just curious to see if it will. Please fix it!!
This app is good if it’s working but it goes down a lot. Since the most recent update it won’t even load. I just deleted it and I’m re-downloading it in an attempt to get it to load.
Love the app...if it would work. The majority of the time it won't load any information. Until they update this and work out the bugs, don't waste your time. It's just as quick to actually go to safari and use their website...and it works every time.
When you step foot into a physical location, your experience is quite enjoyable. Independence Bank has succeeded in offering that same pleasant experience, now on my device, with this new app. The app is simple to navigate, and performing my banking tasks is effortless. Great addition, IB.
As far as banking apps go, this is probably the worst one. It's slow, visually unappealing, lacks features, hardly ever receives updates. Why no Touch ID login, Apple Pay support, push notifications? And this is less about the app and more about the bank itself but, purchases take foreverrrrr to show on your account. I'm talking a week or more. Why is this when other banks are almost instantaneous?
Can't log in even though I can log into the main site and the older mobile site. Very old fashioned graphics. In this day and age the look needs to be clean and modern. I get the 'independence' tie in but it looks old fashioned and unappealing.
I can log in but can’t view my balance, made a deposit anything. And of course they none know what the issue is or how to fix it. Definitely switching banks.
