No way to report problems
The Getaway Alerts either have a defect or are so poorly designed as to be useless, I've tried contacting support, spent over 30 minutes being transform person to person before being disconnected. And even though everyone I was connected to asked for my 'email and phone, no one called me back, The issues with Getaway Alerts are many. Here's what I'm seeing. The first problem is that when it notifies me of availability, the notification *never* goes away, it is always on, so if someone else gets that week, I have no idea of knowing if another week has become available without constantly checking (since the notification stays on I can't tell if it when a new week appears). The second problem, might be related. When I search for Marriott's Grande Ocean from Dec 1 - Dec 10th on the app, I'll see other units that aren't for MGO. And on some of those days, there are other Marriott's available. So currently, there are other Marriotts on Dec 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10th. So when the Alert tells me there's a hit, and I click on it, it shows me those dates, but when I click on each date from within the alert, each is blank, so it's sort of useless and frustrating to have to click on each day with no actual results. Finally, there appears to be no way to delete an alert request, which coupled with the bad notifications is incredibly annoying.
