Interval International To Go

The previous version of the app wasn’t nowhere near as user friendly as it is now. My husband usually doesn’t like to help with vacation searching giving the online version can be slightly tricky to maneuver around the site but this app made it extremely easy for him to search.

The Getaway Alerts either have a defect or are so poorly designed as to be useless, I've tried contacting support, spent over 30 minutes being transform person to person before being disconnected. And even though everyone I was connected to asked for my 'email and phone, no one called me back, The issues with Getaway Alerts are many. Here's what I'm seeing. The first problem is that when it notifies me of availability, the notification *never* goes away, it is always on, so if someone else gets that week, I have no idea of knowing if another week has become available without constantly checking (since the notification stays on I can't tell if it when a new week appears). The second problem, might be related. When I search for Marriott's Grande Ocean from Dec 1 - Dec 10th on the app, I'll see other units that aren't for MGO. And on some of those days, there are other Marriott's available. So currently, there are other Marriotts on Dec 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10th. So when the Alert tells me there's a hit, and I click on it, it shows me those dates, but when I click on each date from within the alert, each is blank, so it's sort of useless and frustrating to have to click on each day with no actual results. Finally, there appears to be no way to delete an alert request, which coupled with the bad notifications is incredibly annoying.

Old version would run as a app on iPads. Current version only runs as a iPhone simulation on the iPad. Lost all the great features to view in widescreen on the iPad. Keep hoping they will bring back the iPad version, but I guess that is never going to happen. I guess want you to use the website if really want to see anything. Even if they didn’t want to upgrade the old iPad version, wish they had kept it. It was so easy to browse around to find places I might like to go, view pictures/videos and so on. I would never use my iPhone for this, as the screen is just to small to get a good view. Disappointed and wish I could give zero stars. Consider this a zero star rating.

I really wish the app would allow a search of from to dates like the website does. I am unable to see what is available in the month of January or in the next three months. It is not helpful in my search if I can only look at one specific date at a time. This takes the search down to turtle speed - Especially when resorts are adding availability daily. I’d have to look at every check in date for those three months 1 - 3 times a day. This app is too limited and for this reason I prefer the website. Hoping for this upgrade in the app.

Ever since I updated my phone I keep getting the same error message when I try to do an exchange. I’m able to go through the exchange process including the payment options. But when I swipe to book I get an error message. No matter which unit I select or even using different credit cards. It’s starts with “Json content is not compliant with schema”. It’s a really long error message. This is frustrating. I’ve had interval for 20 years and never had issues with exchange. I think it’s time to go back to calling customer service to exchange.

Not sure what is going on with the app but it randomly simply won’t let you login in. Additionally, search keeps glitching preventing you from searching specific locations

Twice today we’ve lost a getaway we were trying you purchase. Both at the checkout screen where is was trying to do the additional verification for the credit card. The first time it showed me several phone numbers that we don’t own, to send the verification to. This is scary and feels like a race condition the devs of this app need to figure out. The next time, it gave me correct numbers as options to send the sms to. However I never got the sms and I couldn’t navigate off the existing screen. Wheel just spinning watching the 20 minutes count down to 0. Now the getaway is gone, wasted the better part of an hour, and am extremely frustrated. Hopefully the app team is reading these reviews to help minimize these issues in the future

So many developers have used responsive design to develop apps that work equally well… and look equally good… on both iPhones and iPads. Not this app. Which is a shame, because you’d think Interval would want to present users with the best possible views of their resort options. Big disappointment. (And based on another review and the developer’s response, it’s been at least two years with no effort to fix the issue. Hope ownership by Marriott will prompt some action.)

I’ve been living in Europe for over four years almost 5 and I wish there was more variety and options to use when I exchange for weeks or my points. Never any help or options and is hard to seek good guidance while living in Europe! So it always seems like we’re taking the bottom of the totem pole when we get resorts!!

Getaway alerts are extremely useful, it would be really helpful to be able to pre-filter the alert by Resort Tier. This would make an alert for a location (rather than individual resorts) much more effective

Confusing app. There are multiple places in the app where I just don’t understand what it is supposed to do. When I search for a property I can select “All Destinations” where I can select locations from a list. Then I can select the View Selected Destinations” but all it shows is a list of what I selected. In other areas instead of saying there is no availability, it throws an error message.

Because of this timeshare I’ve been able to explore many places and breath taking experiences on every single one of them. Thank you interval -Jennifer from Maine

Still years later no APP for IPAD. Honestly every single APP I use supports my IPAD. The amount of yearly dues I pay Marriott and the fees Interval charges every time I try to do an exchange, even exchanging my deposited 1 bedroom ski in/out week at the Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge in Breckinridge, CO - Interval wants to charge me a fee for a 2 bedroom at someplace not nearly in demand as a Marriott ski week in Breckinridge. Not long ago that week traded for 2 & even 3 bedrooms units at other Marriott locations without up-charge fees.

We were promised that when we bought into Sheraton Flex that there would be such ease in trading in to use interval. I’ve tried so many dates and sites and can’t find a single thing. There is not way in the app to just see what “is” available and when. You have to have a magic ball and pick exactly the right day and place before it will even show you a resort option. What a joke that you can use interval with ease if you buy into Sheraton.

Searching for resorts has VERY few options! I suspect there are tons of resort weeks that would be great for me, but you have to look at specific days. Also, it’s hard to tell if there is a resort at all where I want to go—it makes planning difficult.

Interval has made some great improvements to this app. I was able to browse, search, reserve and pay for my vacations with ease.

I had to apply a credit from an insured trip due to Covid. It was already there on the check out page. The insurance is well worth it. And recommended.

A much better experience than before! However, need thumb print log in versus just password.

I have no idea where my information went. Some cyber people got on the chat and tried to charge me a dollar I asked who they were and they asked for my credit card information and wanted a dollar to continue the chat. The point is what happened to the reservation that I was about to confirm?

Need to allow ap to be to update saved payment information when checking out. Had to go to the website to change credit card new expiration date

With this update I’m no longer getting banner notification of Getaway alerts! It is most inconvenient as I have to keep opening the app to check to see if anything came available.

Much better than the first version I tried a year or two ago. Still can’t do short stay vacation searches. Would also appreciate the ability to view in landscape on an iPad.

First, I set up the alert. I found the room I was looking for after a couple of weeks because I randomly searched Interval’s website. Didn’t need the alert anymore so I deleted it off my list. 24 hours later, I got a notification of a match to my alert.

The app makes searching and choosing the ideal vacation destination easy!

The app freezes up and doesn’t clear searches. If I’m searching or exchanging my week, I have to wait for the app to start a new search.

I hate that I have to log in every time I use the app. Would be nice if it remembered me on my phone/iPad. Face ID would be even better. Otherwise I prefer using the app over the desktop version.

App works well, however it does not rotate into landscape view. On my iPad which has an attached keyboard. My iPad is the preferred way to use this app due to screen size but it is really unworkable.

Love using interval, the getaways are so inexpensive and easy to book! Couldn’t have a better experience!

The search options on this app are the worst. I have specific dates I can travel, but there is no option to use a specific check-in date. In addition, some results I got showed zero bedrooms. Finally, some screens didn’t display properly with objects overlapping each other.

Awful omission ! Many important features depend of a member profile which is not included/ accessible in the app

This app is complete garbage. Errors everywhere. Slow and clunky interface. Things just won’t work and it doesn’t tell you why. Not sure how it has so many good reviews. It is way better than the previous app, but still terrible.

I like how the program urges me to plan vacations I enjoy with family and friends

Apps better than before but I had trouble finding details about the resort I selected It had no pictures or videos or list of amenities so I had to google search it separately That’s lame

I don’t want to put in one specific date, I want to put in a whole range of dates to choose from. I could not figure how to do this. Please tell me what I am doing wrong, or please get rid of this “upgrade”.

Have loved the app the last few years makes booking a trip fairly easy. BUG ISSUE!! I am not looking for an exchange and when I look at the resorts that are available it brings up another resort not the one shown. Usually it is the one before it. Does not make me confident too use the app!

During this pandemic, open those empty suites and let long time loyal travelers upgrade!!!

Keeps showing that I have found a getaway? But nothing shows up?

It shows I have an alert on my app, but there is no alert. I tried deleting and reinstalling, nothing changed. And I get no alert if one of my getaway alerts goes off. Thanks for nothing, interval.
