Great Product

I’m still pretty new to this, but so far so good. The website was a little glitchy first setting up account (wasn’t allowing me set up kyc at first), but once I worked through that the next day, everything has been smooth. Limit orders have been added since a lot of the reviews posted, which is really nice. Of course they can’t offer everything, but it’s got a pretty decent selection of coins to choose from. At this time, there are 35 options, plus the precious metals, which I have no interest in. I’m definitely impressed, and I wish I signed up during the bear market.

Scandalously designed fee and trading IRA app

I would strongly advise to talk to your financial advisor or tax accountant about alternatives like 401 solo or others where you can maximise your savings. I find thousands of dollars in missing account value between buy or sell prices and their fees. An example, with a dollar 100K account value if you sell your holding to take profits these guys basically designed it to take it away from you. Here you will loose upwards of 4000 to 5000 dollars between the discrepancy manipulation of buy and sell token prices and their one percent fee. So unless your gains are in hundreds of percent all the time this is not designed to make you money. It’s seriously very scandalous how this works. Avoid it and save your money.

Solid but could use improvement

First of all, love the fact that I could invest into crypto through a Roth IRA. In terms of the app, it’s relatively simple to navigate through. And once you get used to it, it’s easy. Overall, the app feels clunky but gets the job done.

Easy to buy & sell crypto

The app has been great so far! Once my funds were available, it only took a few seconds to trade. I also used the conditional transaction feature to sell one of my holdings without paying attention to the markets. Highly recommend this app!

Great platform for trading assets 24/7

What a game-changer! App is UI friendly and provides me with the option to buy and sell crypto without using my laptop. Saves a lot of time and headache down the road knowing that I have the option to buy and sell from my bed. Lol!

Great and Functional

When navigating the app after signing up online, I found it to be easy and quick. Having an app that works so well definitely minimizes stress. It’s really self explanatory and fully functional. Love it!

Need to bring back staking

The platform is nice, and easy to navigate. But one big downside is that they don’t have staking. This is the main reason why I haven’t increased my deposits.

Price Gouging BTC ATM price

Don’t do it guys. I got suckered into signing up for this company only to have my money held hostage for 90 days. They also charge ridiculous prices above spot. Think of all those times you were about to buy from one of those Bitcoin ATM’s but walked away because you’re not an idiot. Whatever taxes you’re saving you pay thru their commission. And on top of that they do charge an additional 1% transaction fee.

Best crypto IRA on the market. Some addition functionality needed.

As a service, ITrustCapital is the best crypto IRA product on the market currently in my opinion. Some additional features that would set it even farther apart from the competition would be the ability to set different order types besides market orders (limit orders specifically) and also the ability to stake/earn interest. I know they recently released a study showing a broader preference towards institutional custody, but I’d like to see the optionality built in for self-custody for those who prefer that route. There are also some wonky UX/UI things with the mobile apple, where it jitters initially when opening the app on the login screen.

WARNING!! CANT SELL YOUR CRYPTO!

It’s been 24 hours and I’m still not able to sell Shib! Called and they said we’re working on it. That was yesterday and I’m still unable to sell today. I trust is pathetic! IM LOOSING MONEY BECAUSE I CANT SELL AS THE PRICE TANKS.

Great App! Still needs a couple things

I love trading but also need to sleep! Please please add limit buy/sell along with trailing stop loss to both the mobile app and standard site🙏😭🙏. Also, would love Face ID sign in on the app and the ability to stake. Love the rest of the app and itrustcapital!

Separate login for each account

I had to create a separate login (email and password) for my Traditional and Roth IRA. It should be made easier to switch back and forth between the two accounts without having to login separately. Also, it’s impossible to change your email or add a phone number unless you did so at account creation. Simple platform that could be way better. Update - Response to developer: That’s great. Can’t waiting until the improvements. While you’re at it, can you make it easier to transfer funds between accounts, like converting from Traditional to Roth without going through customer service, which is difficult to get ahold of?

Broken, like their entire platform

Great idea, wonderful product concept, awful execution. I’ve had technical problems in every phase with iTrust. Signing up, the “Get Started” button didn’t work. Trading? Nope, won’t execute for a week. Fund transfer? Ran into a problem, it’ll be delayed. The app? Log in, use it (if it works), then it freezes. Every single time, I have to force-close the app and reboot. Yes, everything is updated. The problem is on their end. Customer service is ok, but not terribly helpful. Emails go unanswered for days unless I send a follow-up. Phone? They’re only available for a limited time and only once when I called did I talk with someone and not get a message inviting me to submit a ticket. Once I do get a response they say they will “rush this to the tech team right away.” Then I wait for days before sending another nudge. Their system is simply not ready. Frankly, they probably need to charge more and hire more. ITrust, your product is not ready now and it’s certainly not ready for a bull market. Also, be upfront about those spreads the exchanges are taking.

Exorbitant transaction fees

It’s like any other bait & switch scam. They entice you with low cost setup fees but they make their money back on exorbitant fees per transaction. Don’t ever do a market order as they will execute your order way way above market price!! And those conditional buy/sell limit orders are a joke. I placed an buy limit order for 3 BTC @ 16,930 and my order executed at 16,980 while the BTC price was plummeting to high 16,880s. What’s the point of conditional orders if it’s executed outside your requested set limit price? The fees are just outrageous and the spread is just downright illegal.

App Freezes

I’ve had the app for a few weeks and it’s already freezing. It’s not a big deal now but if this was a bull market then you would be losing tons of money! Considering already moving my money to another account. I get you need to charge fees for trades but are there consequence for ITrust when there software fails? The only one I can see, is they can’t charge fees if people aren’t buying. They don’t cares about the customer who is losing money hand over fist bc they failed on their end. I’m sure they are sorry though!

Constantly, asking me to update…

I'm getting so sick of this! I can't tell you how many times I open the app and it tells me I need to click on the update button… Then, when I do, it updates, but will no longer open and sends me an error message. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and still the error message. This happens far too often!! I have lost track of how many times. Work on getting this thing stable, otherwise, it's so unreliable it's useless to me! Very frustrating!!

Two things need fixing!

In general I like the ease in which ITrust Capital is layout both on the app and the website. BUT, there are two things that need to be fixed! First, even before the latest update on the iOS app, there is no way to set up buy and sell limits…even on the full website. That’s a biggie! Second, since the update the app has been glitching constantly! A scene pops up every few seconds saying “app needs to update, click ok.” It is hard to get anything done when this happens.

Great Concept, Terrible App

Honestly, this app is terrible. It’s severely lacking many basic features, some of which being an overview of returns as well as better graphical representations of account balance over time and portfolio allocation. Additionally, I’d like to see some sort of Face ID integration so that the app doesn’t log me out every time I switch screens. I love the idea and am very supportive of the inclusion of cryptocurrency into traditional investment platforms, but the mobile app is just too barebones, rudimentary, and not user friendly.

Funds frozen

The app works great until it doesn't. The market is in the middle of a 10% correction and I have not been able to buy or sell for the last 12 hours. No response to emails or tweets so far. I have traded over $300k in volume in this account. That means I've spent thousands on transaction fees alone. What do I get for that? Locked out of trading on one of the mostVolatile days of the year. No response from site and no way to contact them besides email.

Great IRA mediocre App

The concept of a crypto IRA is great and I trust capital is the best one I found when I researched this type of IRA. The problem is the app. Lately it keeps saying there’s an update available when I tap the button to download the update nothing happens it just flashes different screens and there is no update. Also like others on here I do want to request staking and more coins to choose from.

App crashes

Developer, this app keeps crashing on iPhone 8 Plus every time and will not reopen until I delete the app and download again. Also if you’re asking to upload document maybe you should consider adding options for your users to upload an actual document not just to take pictures. I hope this feedback helps. For now I’m not able to even use the app. Until then I’ll leave no rating.

Not a fan of the new setup. The old setup from the website that showed assets by amount was better and i liked that it showed the current market price. The new system is confusing

Awkward platform

Unlike two years back, you can schedule an appointment to talk to a customer service and it was an easy solution to any problem. Now, it will take a year to get someone. Their message system is the worst in the world, hardly any option that will fit your needs. The more upgrade ttrustcapital does to their system the worse it gets; although the system seemed to be running, prices are often off, and from time to time you cannot execute an order. It’s very frustrating especially when you desperately want to buy because the market is down, it does not allow you. They have to do something especially they are planning to go IPO.

Needs more feautures

I’ve been using iTrustCapitol for about a month now and it’s great. A few capabilities would make it perfect though: 1.) Connectivity with the Mint app - I track my wealth through the Mint app and because ITC has no API, I sadly can’t connect it the app which is a real bummer 2.) U can’t make limit orders 3.) There’s no staking Hopefully, we’ll get these features soon. I don’t think the first two would be that hard to implement

App does not work

Why does the app not work. How can i trust itrustcapital if they cant even create a working app. It is literally impossible to fund an account through the app. I went through the process multiple times only to be restarted from the beginning. Smh ,why does everything have to be so difficult. Why cant your app do what it says it supposed to do. Is that to much to ask?

Don’t like the app

I just opened an account. My small local credit union has a more sophisticated app than this. You need to be able to log on with biometrics instead of having to use a password every other time. Limit orders should have been available from the onset. A larger list of digital assets would be nice.

iOS freezes

I have struggled with the IOS version and of the app. It works on ocassion and I often have to delete the app and reinstall on my iPhone . I wish Itrust or the developers for the IOS app can fix the bugs so that I can access my accounts without having to reinstall the app

What a pain in the @**!

This app is one of the worst I’ve used. You have to jump through hoops to log in, and once yon do, it crashes. With so many negative reviews going back in time, why don’t you fix the issues? And please don’t tell me to call your tech support; just fix the app already!

Terrible app

The app has not worked in weeks and when it does work, it crashes often and is horrible to navigate. This leaves customers having to use the web site. Comparing this companies offering in regards to trading engine and capabilities, the offering is weak at best. Do better or you will lose market share.

Not your keys not your crypto

Simple if something happens to this new company spending a lot on add revenue and sponsorships during a bear they use your money to cover the call I’m sure they staked eth2.0 for apy. Idk why anyone would just randomly trust this company w/ there retirement and Idk how that would ever change with out cold storage on my keys not Coinbase who again is not seeing eye to eye w/ sec. Don’t do it lol

They took my money (spent on tv ads) and didn’t credit my account. It’s been 11 Business days since my request for a simple contribution. Funds finally left my bank 4 days ago and still no available funds. Calling today to report fraud. Previous review not posted either?
