Great addition
This app is great. I have a Subaru, and it’s app is nowhere near how good and easy this app is. Of course, my new Gladiator is in the shop, because there is an issue with the airbag. The car sent us a text that we needed to take it to get looked at. While, I wish, I had my car, that is impressive, that it texts you. It makes me nervous, though, because I just got rid of a Ford Fusion, that was in the shop, numerous times. We are fine with the Jeep. I don’t know who the person is that runs your shop. But, he couldn’t be any nicer. He has kept us updated on what is happening. We have another car, we are not stuck. But, this man is the reason, we will continue to go to Gossett Jeep for any service that needs to be done. Ford was nowhere near as forthcoming.

New Jeep app is horrible and worthless
The old Jeep app worked just fine for me and had basic information about my 2020 Jeep grand Cherokee. I had my Jeep serviced today and went to the app to see if everything was update but to my surprise the old app is not supported any longer and the application directed me to Apple Store to download the new one. I did all that and low and behold it was like I never existed and neither did my vehicle. So went thru the account sign on screen and entered the last 8 digits of my vehicle and like others have mention, it said there was an issue and it directed me to call an agent. Thought I was calling someone at Jeep, but nooooo! Call was to Sirius agent to sell me their services. After several minutes of listening to the agent I advised him I only wanted the basic service. So he connected me to Jeep rep. But that was as useless as the Sirius agent. So she directed me to Uconnect line. After 10 minutes on hold I gave up. Uncle! All I wanted was the basic services with my cars maintenance records and basic info. I didn’t think that was too much to ask for but it seems to be a big deal! Is this the way Jeep runs their business with trickery and misleading information? Last Jeep for me. LDLOVE

I can’t believe I pay $15mo for this
FCA forced everyone to use this app for their unconnect services, including RAM truck owners like myself. I could care less if it’s a Jeep app, FCA, whatever…if I actually worked. Think about this… people spend ungodly amounts of money on their vehicles and they include this functionality that you have to pay $15mo just to use the remote lock and unlock features, and the app cannot even do that half the time. It’s absolutely shameful that a company like FCA is raking in money hand over foot and under delivering on a simple mobile app! None of the preferences stick such as adding the unlock button to the front page, it logs you out half the time and requires you to renter your entire user name and password even when you selected it to save, a good portion of the time it just sits there and spins when you hit the unlock button, then it says failed, but even when it says failed, half the time the locks are unlocked. So guess what? You have to manually check to see because the app sure as crap won’t tell you if your vehicle is secure or not. I am DONE paying $15mo to fight with this awful app that I’m pretty sure a grade schooler could have coded better.

Useful but too limited
For what the subscription costs, this app is way too limited. I like the remote start and location features, but there are a number of items it doesn’t support that it should: 1) I should be able to see the charge status of my 4xe (whether plugged in or not, and what the charge % is). It used to do a slightly better job at this, but a recent update seems to have gone backwards instead of forward. Even better if it took current rate of charge into consideration and gave an estimate to complete - which it already does in vehicle so that info could just be exposed to the app 2) After remote start, I should be able to control basic climate control parameters such as temp and whether heated seats and steering wheel are turned on. 3) The fuel level (remaining miles) should include total, gas and electric reading, right now it only has gas miles remaining even though labeled ‘total’. 4) The manual should be accessible straight from the app, or access to similar content in videos.

Jevona! Horrible and unreliable
Bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in October. App worked great until December. Fuel level, info, miles, and vehicle health has not updated in 57 days as of today! Jeep, you need to fix this. Having this software issue not fixed in almost 2 months makes Jeep owners think “Does Jeep care about customer loyalty or their safety?” This is completely unacceptable especially after spending $50k on a car. Also, my app shows I have version 1.31.6, but the App Store clearly shows an update from a month ago of version 1.4. I deleted the app and logged back in multiple times, but still don not have version 1.4. I also see that there have been reviews here stating that you (Jeep) have NOT responded to Jeep owners who have provided their vin and vehicle information to possibly have it fixed. So, please if you ask for this information, we expect some professionalism and respond appropriately with A FIX TO THIS PROBLEM! We have been a loyal Jeep owner for almost 14 years and we expected more. Are you going to fix this or what?!?!? Jevona! Will Jeep ever respond to the emails we’ve sent days ago?!?!?!

Okay but has flaws
This works for the most part but there are some flaws that need to be addressed. First, there needs to be a way to support multiple vehicles registered to different owners. Next, the Face ID feature doesn’t work for me. I turn it on but after that I get maybe one time that it will use my face. After that it goes back to the PIN prompt. Could this be because my wife and I are both using the app on our respective phones? Speaking of the PIN prompt. Make the buttons flash when you tap them. I get entry errors because I don’t realize I hit the wrong number. We have two recent Jeep models. One is on UConnect 4, one on UConnect 5. The interface for controlling the locks and remote start is different. Why? Make them the same. I lose tiles. Both of our vehicles support scheduled charging but sometimes those tiles disappear. I have to go to the edit tiles interface and reset to default to make them reappear. Boo. Please fix this. This isn’t specific to the app, but it would be nice if the charging schedules could be geofenced. Specifically, when I charge at home, I want the schedule to apply. But if I charge anywhere else, I don’t want to bother with overriding the schedule. Lastly, the delay with using commands to the UConnect 4 vehicle is terrible. It’s like up to a minute to find out if your car started or the doors locked. Same with the UConnect app. If possible, please fix this.

Worthless app
Had a 6-month trial when I got my new 2021 Jeep. Grand Cherokee L. Worked great for the first 5 months. Since then, nothing. Remote start doesn’t work. Lock/unlock does not work. I renewed my subscription for the service, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and nothing. Do not waste $150 on a service which doesn’t come close to delivering what it promises. I will be asking for a refund. Tired of waiting 20-30 minutes for the Jeep to start or unlock the doors. And it still doesn’t work when that time is up. Customer service told me that once I renew, it will work. Nice try. Very disappointed Jeep customer here. Added Jeep lameness (3/24)- good luck getting help from Jeep Customer Care. First time I call, I get sent to a voicemail. Second call sends me to someone who doesn’t know how to work her computer. Third call gets me transferred 4 different times to someone from one department to another department. It’s clear they’re not able to handle these issues. Do not purchase this service. It doesn’t work and is a waste of money and time, since their people aren’t able to help.

Will there ever be an update to fix the app showing recent activity?
The app rarely updates live information. For example, I plugin the Jeep Wrangler to charge at home and the app doesn’t show the status of the charge level correctly before I plugin or after. The car charges but the app rarely updates to show it’s charging. When it’s done charging, the app doesn’t update either. It often times shows the battery is full but has 0 EV miles available. Other times like today the app shows 18 miles of EV mileage yet the car shows 24 miles. Other times the app shows 0 miles available when the car shows 12 for example. Also, modifying the charging schedule in the app doesn’t “stick” after saving the settings forcing me to change the schedule in the car’s infotainment system. Which doesn’t always work to update the app either. Lastly if I have a scheduled charging from “10am until Full” and plug the car in at 10:15, is the jeep supposed to charge? Or does it wait until the next time 10am arrives a full 24 hours later?

Doesn’t have current information
The app would be useful but for three things: 1) it’s vehicle and health info are days, weeks, and sometimes a month old, and there does not appear to be a way to refresh the connection. So the information displayed is iseless, unless you want to know the condition of your vehicle a couple weeks ago. 2) the warranty information is in accurate. It says my warranty expired, but I purchased an extended warranty, and the app doesn’t even say something like “you might have an extended warranty”, just “expired”, which is a little alarming. I had to call the dealer to confirm they had a record of it. 3) I can’t find any way to contact anyone about the app. There does not appear to even be a support contact email in the app, so that’s why I’m here. Even this site has a contact link that goes to the old Uconnect site instead of the Jeep app. If anyone knows how to reach someone who can assist with this app, please let me know….

Wondering
Got an email about this is my last chance to upgrade my app to consolidate everything. Think I tried the app a few months ago and first thing it wants is my VIN. Not something I carry around with me and I have other things to do than manage a convoluted app. Wondering why I couldn’t just log in with my existing credentials under the old app. Any hoot..got this last chance email even though I don’t know why it’s my last chance so another thing to wonder about…so updated the app and since the only option is to change enter the VIN I went out to my Jeep GC 2018 and attempted to scan the VIN via the app. Nope…didn’t work…strike 1…so typed in last 8 of the VIN. Strike 2…can’t add the VIN to the account…but wait…wondering what account? I haven’t logged in!? Hmm…app is telling me to call an agent…who has time for that? Come on now…these are expensive vehicles…in this day and age of technology and apps this is the experience that is offered? Wondering what the heck?! How is this a good thing? How is this an upgrade?

Jeep U connect
Very Basic App for $15/month. IMO it’s not worth it. Customer Service is HORRIBLE. Simply getting the new iPhone resulted in the App not working. I entered the vin # manually, spoken to at least 5 different agents and NONE of them could help me! Absolutely ridiculous. It literally says “call an agent” and they are hopeless. Their advice was for me to wait a few business days and their tech team would contact me. That was a week ago. I can’t even cancel the subscription right now because “no agents are available” 🙄🙄🙄. I already paid for the month so I want a refund or the app to work til the month runs out. Not giving them money for absolutely no reason. Side note- no climate control option is a deal breaker for me. The app does the same thing as the key fob just was worse and it costs you. Better off just having two key fobs so you can start it from your bedroom and grab your main keys on your way out the door. What a joke

The app is really unfriendly
I used the older app but recently got the msg that it is no longer supported so I went to the new branded app. There are some issues that should be obvious to anyone with common sense. When you invoke one of the functions like remote start, locks, etc, if it can’t complete the request, sometimes I eventually get the notification in the app, sometimes the app just clocks forever. Sometimes even if the app does complete the request, it still just clocks. How about results on the app screen after a reasonable timeout. When you key in the pin, I seem to have to enter it slow, otherwise it doesn’t actually get entered so I get an invalid pin msg. Also, the greyscale colors on the pin entry screen make it hard to tell if it did indeed see all of the numbers entered. The worst part is that I have a 2015 Jeep that doesn’t have built in support for 4G so I’m forced to use the T-Mobile plugin 4G module. I’m in a well established area and I never have any issue with coverage with my AT&T phone, I can only assume that the issue is with T-Mobile. Sure wish I could pick my own provider, I know now that I’d never go with T-Mobile for phone service. Lastly, what’s the point of saying the same “bugs and fixes” description for every release? How about putting some actual notes about what was changed? This app is probably outsourced to who knows where, you can tell by the lack of attention to detail.

Doesn’t always work
I love the app, but there is times (can count on both hands) that the app doesn’t start the car. For what reason? Just says it failed. The point for the auto start is to keep from getting in a cold car. These days seems more often your getting in a cold car then not. Now I have received an email that my app will no longer work unless I pay $25 a month or $250 up front for a whole year. This includes my remote start and my navigation. Why show me the stuff/add it if you’re going to charge me such a high price for it. I have another manufactures car and it’s only $10 a month but free for the first 3 years. WTH!!! Guess I will look for a auto start for the car and continue to use my phone for the nav.

Remote start
I have my Jeep 1 yr now and I love every thing about it, the best is using the mobile app to start the car. I was very impressed and wanted to test this app out, i was called out on a business trip and left my Jeep at my moms, she called me told me that she had left an item in the Jeep but I did not leave the remote, I was able to use my app to unlock the doors , and she said as able to retrieve her stuff , I lock it with the app! I am loving this very much. I will not get any other vehicles, only jeep. Thanks Jeep lover

Is Jeep’s goal is to disappoint?
Bought a 24 Laredo and the functionality of the Jeep Connect app is horrible. Apparently remote start/ stop and climate buttons are hidden/ disabled for the Laredo X model (only appear on the altitude or higher) even though the hardware/ software on the Laredo X is exactly the same. I’m sorry, but I would not consider the enabling of remote start from the app an optional, premium feature. It is basic. Even paying $15/ month for Jeep Connect does not enable it. This is a big deal for us as it allows starting and warming or cooling the vehicle in the parking garage from the office, or if my kid loses the key while away at school. Also, the app is only available to one user ID. The only way my wife and kids can use the app to lock/ unlock the vehicle is if I give them my user ID and password. This defeats the purpose of setting the speed limit, tracking if my kids can just change it in their app. Almost every other vehicle allows the primary user to share the vehicle app with other users who have access only to the primary functions. This is also a big deal, and a very simple fix to allow users (especially kids) to access to the vehicle from their phone only without carrying/ losing a key. Come on, Jeep. I get it if this was 2018. A little bit of effort on this all would dramatically improve the functionality of this $45k vehicle.

Not reliable or accurate
It doesn’t update location and has not updated other information (mileage, oil life, etc.) for more than two weeks. And that was after I contacted support when it didn’t update after more than a month. When I contacted support previously they had me contact SOS in the truck to identify my location and that made the app work for that day. Two weeks later, it hasn’t updated from that day. Uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out, logged back in over and over with no success. Ridiculous that I pay for the service and can’t locate my truck, start it or get any details that are supposed to be available. I was able to get some information out of the UConnect app, but now that has gone away and they direct me to the worthless Jeep app. If you are going to offer it and people are paying for it, it has to be better than this. Doubt I will re-up when it comes due unless there are major improvements.

Needs Major Improvements
The app has the potential to be useful and a great feature, but definitely not a selling point for Jeep. Compared to other brands, this app lags response time. The app SHOULD update your vehicles information upon opening the app. However, I find that 95% of the time I have to manually request an update. After requesting an update I find myself waiting up to 5 mins. to retrieve the information. Not to mention the information returned is very limited. Security features do lack in this app, it’s unable to tell you if your doors are locked/unlocked, etc. The odometer is not always correct, which takes me back to having to manually request for an update. Hands down, the only useful feature from the app is remote start capabilities, but then again it lags in response time. I do recommend the Jeep as it’s a fun vehicle, but I don’t recommend the app.

I would give it no stars if I could.
The positive reviews you can guarantee were written by someone at the company and they are lying. Don’t buy the Grand Cherokee L Summit or mess with Jeep or this app. They only care about your money and not providing you a service. Read the developer’s response on every single one of these reviews and look at the times the reviews were posted and absolutely nothing has changed. My situation is 100% identical and I bought my Grand Cherokee L Summit off of the showroom floor in July. First it was putting more miles on the car than I was driving and when I started calling Jeep raising Cain about it and asked for the location data from the app a little over a month after having the car the app and everything mysteriously stops working. They start giving you excuse after excuse and telling you to take it to the dealership. The last place the location data ever worked was at the dealership when jeep had me take it there to see why the mileage was off. I was driving 28 miles a week and it was putting over a 100. They must have been fudging the numbers for mileage or trying to speed up warranties. I could check the location of my car on the app from then on and it would show it still at the dealership when I called and complained it quit showing anything.

Don’t call their car rental number
Absolute worst customer service experience ever! The first time I called, they said I had to call day of, second time I called they said they would get back to me soon, third time I called they told me they would get back to me in a day or two. Told the man I needed a rental car asap and he just repeated that they would get back to me next day. Had to get an Uber home from the dealership. I called from home finally explained to me that I was supposed to have called enterprise first and they would reimburse me when they called me back in a day or so. FIVE HOURS of my day wasted! I had a million things to do and I only accomplished one of them because they couldn’t be bothered to tell me I had to call enterprise myself! If I had known that I would have called enterprise a few days in advance and would have gone about my day immediately. Absolute WORST customer service experience ever.

Jeep has a lot of nerve charging money for this app
Not only does this app have a very limited use because it only locks, unlocks and starts a vehicle, it constantly logs me out. It also disable Face ID on average, three times a week. For the ungodly amount of money, they have the nerve to charge for this app, it should at a minimum open the liftgate. It should also raise and lower windows. It should have a function to sound the horn. The creators of this app should seriously look into how Lincoln organizes their app because THAT is an app that is super user-friendly… And guess what? IT IS FREE!!!! Update: TWICE in the last 10 days (and one time in July) the app went down and I was locked completely out of my vehicle. Because I use the app, I do not carry the key fob with me…ISNT THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE APP??!! Why isn’t there an auxiliary way to unlock the vehicle??!! Had to call my husband to bring another key fob. Just yesterday, it happened again when leaving a dr appt. I spent 2 HOURS on the phone with Uconnect trying to get a tow truck to come unlock my door. 2 HOURS and 8 phone calls!!!!!! And when I asked the agent how I was going to be compensated for these extreme inconveniences…NOTHING!!! NADA!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would. The. Most. Useless. App. THAT I PAY A BLOODY FORTUNE TO USE!!! Absolute GARBAGE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RIPOFF OF AN APP!!

It’s good but bad
I got my 2021 Jeep GCL in December 2021 and loved this app. It always worked so fast to start my car, unlock the doors, etc and I loved that I could see my fuel levels and all that right from my phone. However, February 7th is the last day any of that has updated. It’s been 93 days now since it’s updated and there is no feature in the app that allows you to ‘refresh’ the data. I have spent so much time online trying to find people with similar issues and nothing. What’s weird is I can still unlock the doors, start the car, and see it’s location but nothing else. No health report, no tire pressure. My free trial ends next month too and so far I’m over 3 months of not being able to use this service completely. This is my first Jeep and honestly, I’m just disappointed. $50,000 on a car and the app doesn’t even work.

Doesn’t work right
The app worked well for about two weeks. I bought a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L one month ago. I would get live traffic updates, the weather would update. Now none of it works correctly. I’ve called Jeep and Uconnect and they don’t have any answer. I reset the NAV by holding the two buttons for 10 seconds. Nothing happened. Ended up talking to AT&T and they tried to sell me a $25 per month data program. I was told I would get 3 free months of the subscriptions. Two of the 3 do not work. Series XM radio is the only one that does work. I’ve even tried Turing on the wifi hotspot and still didn’t get live traffic or weather. Jeep/Uconnect ended up telling me to take my car to the dealership…… this is one month after I bought my brand new car. It has 950 miles on it….. very disappointed. The whole Mopar thing is so confusing.

It’s okay
I don’t like how I have to put in a security pin or some type of verification every single time I try to lock the doors.. start the car.. etc. I think it’s uncomfortable. I’m a long time user of the Chevy car app and I think that’s much better and actually gives you more information that’s useful. The location almost never updates accurately to track my car. Having climate control in the app would’ve been nice but my car is a 2021 Jeep Renegade so I guess I wouldn’t be getting that but I’m sure all the uconnect systems are similar. The app does do the basic functions that are nice to have but just not good at being smooth or more convenient than me just reaching for my keys at this point.

Bring back Uconnect app
The new Jeep app is absolute trash, please bring back the Uconnect app. I have had the Jeep app for about a month and successfully started my Jeep from it twice. It never or rarely updates where the vehicle is even parked, and I can’t see the vehicles info anymore (I.E tire pressure, fuel level, etc.). I used to like and was willing to pay for the service to be able to 1) start and 2) have the ability to lock my vehicle and go for a run without keys jangling around. However, now I don’t even think it’s worth paying anymore, cause if it did happen to work before I went for a run. I now risk coming back and not being able to unlock my vehicle. There were some issues with the Uconnect app occasionally not communicating with the vehicle, and I was willing to deal with that, but really didn’t think it could get worse… pfft well apparently I was horribly mistaken.

I do like the idea of the app, but please look at apps from your competitors… I had Mercedes before and the Mercedes app was much more feature rich, in a practical way. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, just explore what is there. Also pleas fix your waypoint sharing. It currently only allows you to share a location from Apple Maps on iPhone, while google maps is in some case a better tool. When I try to send a location from google maps it rejects it and asks to share it from Apple Maps… which is cumbersome experience. What I’m also missing is the ability to setup auto close of windows/roof when rain is predicted; or to do view/manage the state of the windows via the app. Or get alerts… hope you can improve!

More clutter than UConnect
The dahsboard is way more cluttered than the UConnect app. I use my apps while on the move, not sitting on the couch. Action buttons are too small, yet the ‘Horn’ button sits right where my thumb hits to scroll… accidentally setting off the horn alarm while scrolling was the first command sent after installing. That’s embarrassing. I had to use the key fob panic button to stop it. Still no battery charge indicator. I have a third-party app that does all the vehicle functions this app does plus battery charge level, with alerts… which is great in this time of working from home and not driving much. Never come out a battery too low to start again. Why can’t mopar report this metric if a third party app can? Other than my third- party app, I’ll use the UConnect app until this one is improved.

Not worth the subscription really
You basically pay $15 a month for a service that doesn’t give you much. My wife’s Ford Pass app does all the same stuff for free and is much more responsive. Then after this last update I can’t even see my fuel level anymore. Not that it stayed up to date anyway. When I send a request to start my jeep or unlock the door it can take 30 sec to a min to perform the action. The Ford Pass app takes at most 5-10 seconds and again it’s FREE. Oh and having to type in a pin everytime you want to do something is just annoying. Especially on the watch app. Again, don’t have to do that on the Ford Pass phone or watch app. If I pay monthly for a service I expect it to be better.

Apple CarPlay will not work Jeep grand Cherokee L.
I have been to two different dealerships trying to get Apple CarPlay to work in the Jeep after a two hour visit to the dealership today According to the service department jeep is going to come out with a update via the Internet before the end of the year it would be nice to have known this. My weather app does not work it says unable to find data check back later. Is all the gloss black finish good for is collecting dust and fingerprints I wish there was an aftermarket product that could be applied. The Uconnect screen shows fingerprints and when the sun shines on it the fingerprints hide the verbiage A aftermarket screen protector is needed. Next. The Uconnect app on my 2016 grand Cherokee would give me current mileage fuel remaining and several other things this one on the new jeep tells me nothing plus I don’t know how to use send and go

Consensus
Just happened to look at the reviews for the Jeep app on the Google Play store and they are just as bad. What is really going on with the people behind the scenes? Are they not paying attention to what the customers are saying to them? Why did you not just rebrand the Uconnect app instead of making a whole new app that doesn’t work? Ever since the switch to the Jeep I’ve just been paying for, well basically nothing. Nothing works and have been emailing back and forth since last fall. Might want get another app team or add some additional people that can fix it. Also why is the rating for this app still at 4.8? The google play store has it at 3.8 which is probably more accurate. Have a feeling that the few good reviews are actually not from Jeep owners but from ghost accounts made by the developer.

Subscription Required
I tried add my vehicle to my account. The scanning feature was taking a long time so I tried entering my VPN manually. It found my vehicle but required me to talk with someone. Fine. The agent I spoke with tried getting me to subscribe to the Sirius Guardian Service with the first 3 months free. I informed the agent I didn’t want the service, I only wanted to add my vehicle to my account. Then he stated there was a $15/month fee stand alone service. I was too annoyed. He started to tell me how I could call back if I changed my mind, but I hung up. Sirius is obnoxious. It would be nice to access the manual and other services or features, but the agent said a subscription is required. This is the first time I’ve been annoyed with Jeep since switching from Toyota in 2016 - making me pay for access to manuals and details of my vehicle. Ridiculous.

This Jeep app is ridiculously slow and does nothing
Just took delivery of my new Jeep and so excited that they had an app similar to Volkswagen. This does nothing and what it does do is way to delayed. I like it to start the car or lock and unlock. Problem is it’s too delayed. Takes minutes!! I am glad I didn’t pay for it. Volkswagen app is instant and gives you details and reminders to lock or that door has been opened. This Jeep app is ridiculously slow and does nothing to inform you. Waste of money for those that pay for it Too slow and does nothing. Revision: I’ve had app now for almost a month and this service Stinks. So slow and does not work half the time. I tried starting car with app several times and just says it can’t be done at this time about 5 minutes later. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve been using it for the past year to remote start my car and it’s been awesome. There are times I’ve needed to get in and forgot my keys and have used the app to lock and unlock my doors. It does take a long time for it to connect to the vehicle but I don’t mind the wait. The only problem is that now that the recent update has come out, my remote options are missing. It no longer gives me the options on the main screen and I don’t know why. Really bummed because I loved the remote start so I’m hoping it comes back FaceID has been nice but also keeps disabling itself so I have to keep re-enabling it.

Jeep App Stinks!
I have only had my Jeep one day and I already hate this app. It doesn’t tell me anything other than my gas, very basic health data and it’s location. It also is constantly showing my dealer info.. which is t needed until NEED maintenance. What I wish this app had was a status page of the Jeep. 1. Is it running or off after I sent a command. 2. The app keeps asking for my password. I shouldn’t need to enter it in because I selected Face ID. 3. It needs a widget with basic command of Lock, unlock, open back door, and on/off. For each of these buttons there should be an identifier of each status. For instance, the On/Off button can display Red for Off and Green for On. Same goes for the door lock and back door. This isn’t rocket science people!

Unreliable
I’ve only had my Jeep for 3 weeks and have had more issues than not with this app. It worked great for a few days, then when I would try to login, it would say “login failed, try again”. I had to shut WiFi off at work for the app to work-for a bit. I’ve been in the vehicle and tried to login and got same error. Customer service is terrible, never get help on the first call. Then they call while avg person is also working-then close case when they don’t reach me. I did finally talk to someone and she tried to sell me WiFi hotspot. I’ve had to change my pw for the 3rd time is as many weeks Bc it keeps locking me out with the error messages. I miss the Uconnect app that my 2018 Jeep had **update, it’s been a week and just like clockwork, it won’t let me login again. Worst app ever!

Doesn’t Work!!! Can’t add vehicle
Upgraded from the old app and logged in on the new one… my account shows up but it no longer shows any vehicles in my garage. When I enter my vin, it tells me it can’t be added. Called the number provided and spent an entire afternoon talking with service reps that had no idea what I was talking about when I told them Jeep upgraded their app. Also it’s worth noting, the number they provide is directly to Sirius XM where they will try and sell you their service. I just want to be able to see my vehicles information, manual, maintenance records etc. like I was able to before. Feels like they are just trying to filter you to Sirius sales reps who will collect your information and try and get a sale or will spam you with sales calls and mailers… disappointing.

Got to be kidding
Took delivery of 2023 Jeep Wrangler couple weeks ago. App will not update any of the Jeep info/data. Now the digital glovebox will no longer access the online owners manual. Called tech support, was told due to app is new and still under construction some of the features are not available and to try back later. Disappointing to say the least. Now going on close to 6 months of use, supposed to have 1 year of complimentary services from Sirius Guardian, only features that show up on app are the basic remote features ( lock, unlock, remote start, horn blow),, over the past 6 months on 2 occasions the other missing functions did show up on app for maybe a day and then disappeared again. No way I would consider paying for the lackluster services once my trail runs out.

Garbage
I was reading the reviews earlier and couldn’t believe that there’s so many bad reviews yet it has a really high five star rating. But upon installing it wouldn’t accept my old login for the Uconnect app so I had to change my password then it locked me out with the new password, saying that that one was incorrect as well, then when I finally get logged in, it says that my vehicle van is unacceptable and that I need to call an agent…good grief. Plus the idea that they want to charge you so much just so you can remote lock or remote start your vehicle is for the birds. For that much money I’d want a complete diagnostic breakdown with any errors thrown, full control of the interior options to turn off auto start options, to turn on the heated seats and access the heaters to set the temperature. You name it.

Glad it’s a Trial…
There’s no way I’m gonna keep the Guardian service after the trial period, after seeing how clunky and unreliable this app is. I have two Wranglers I enrolled yesterday to try out the connected features; a 2019 Unlimited Sahara and a 2021 Unlimited Rubicon, both running Uconnect 4C. I’ve got both the Unconnect and the Jeep apps installed on my iPhone, running iOS 16.5.1C. The Uconnect app works better than this Jeep app, but they both have problems. This Jeep app takes forever to send any commands or update a status, and most times it fails to do what I asked it. I can’t get the Face ID to work with it at all; it tells me my PIN number is wrong, even though I’m using the same PIN to send commands to the Jeeps. I’m not impressed at all, and it will be the reason I don’t continue using the service.

Would like more features
App is good, decent response time and pretty reliable info displayed. Would like to see more remote features that I am witnessing other brands allow with their remote apps. Simple features such as an “open/close power lift gate” and an “illuminating the headlights” button that turns all exterior lights on for convenience to see outside without having to unlock the doors. Also would be nice to control the interior climate controls after the vehicle is remote started. As well as a “Hazards” button that you can turn hazard lights on with the app. All simple ideas that i’m not sure are plausible but that would be very helpful and beneficial as a user/owner.

Doesn't function as well
I recently resubscribed to this app and i'm really disappointed. When this was Uconnect it worked well but they forced me into this app. The vehicle info doesn't work and the vehicle health doesn't work, 'send and go' that doesn't work either. I called the support team and after explaining it and giving them all the info I.e. app version, phone type and version, car VIN, etc. they told me to start the car and let it run for ten minutes for three times...NOPE Doesn't work. Also if that didn't work bring it to the dealer. NOPE not wasting a whole day for that. It's the APP! Not the car, if it worked before the app update it should work after the app update. Really frustrating for the money spent, I will be asking for it back.

Very disappointed in app
I have had my Jeep Grand Cherokee L since November and I have never been able to see my vehicle health (or even have that as a option to view) and my mileage will not update. Per the app, current mileage is 14mi (really it is now 6K). I have gone all over the internet looking for answers. Uninstalled app, reinstalled, hard reset uConnect nothing is working. I can unlock/lock, start remotely, send and go navigation but there is no option at all for vehicle health info. I have had previous cars with an app (my Chevy) and I always had the information at my fingertips without any issues. Here I thought I was upgrading my car, but lost some of the most basic things that I had before n my previous car that cost a fraction of the cost.

Uconnect Features No Longer Working
I’ve had my Jeep since 2019, which yes, im very late to setting this all up.. it’s a 2019 Jeep Cherokee (i got it new and have been the only owner), well the user manual i got when i purchased the vehicle says to enable in-vehicle features like SOS call, customer care assistance, remote services like vehicle finder to locate my parked vehicle, send and go which allows me to send destinations to my navigation system for easy access and the remote door lock/unlock and remote horn and lights ALLLLL require you to use the Uconnect app.. which i have, but says “This Uconnect app is no longer supported. Please download your new app below.” Which is the just the actual Jeep app. Please fix this issue so we get get the perks in which we technically are paying to have.

Where is the detail?
This “same” app for my 300S and two Challengers looked and worked the same as this app except this Jeep version has one annoying problem. Only 3 of the 5 options are viewable. The fourth option is 3 dots (…) which takes me to a favorites page where I can selelct 3 of 5 options. Before all 5 were viewable and I just had to swipe left to see the rest. Each option only shows the icon for all of the commands which are remote start, lock, unlock, cancel engine and horn. When I go to the favorites page each option has the description under the image like it always has on my previous vehicles but after I pick the 3 and go back to the main page the descriptors are gone. Why Jeep Why?!?

Not worth the price
We are paying a premium for features that either don’t exist or don’t work most of the time. I gave it two stars instead of one because I do like being able to start and unlock/lock my Jeep from my watch and my phone. That said, the app’s overall features and performance are beyond disappointing. My app doesn’t allow me to view any of the vehicle’s health as pictured in the App Store. I also find it to be extremely primitive in that I have to enter a passcode to do anything when I should be able to use my Face ID like most other apps. This app is very inconvenient, only works half the time, is not worth the high price tag and needs a complete overhaul.

App works quickly consistently
This is a follow up review to a recent one where I gave the app a poor review. After taking the vehicle to the dealership and updating the software on the Uconnect system, the app now works as advertised. Quick and intuitive remote controls basic information on fuel oil levels as well as tire pressure which is a convenient way to access basic information. Remote features such as door locks and remote start is also included and works well. Five stars!

Very solid but could use minor tweaks
I have been using Uconnect with a Pacifica and just started using this app with my new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. This app is stable and very useful — I have had no problem using any of the remote functions or diagnostics. It is very responsive and I particularly like the speed with which it reports whether remote commands have been received. I could wish for one feature that isn’t here — I’d like for the app to tell me the current lock status of the vehicle — is it locked or unlocked? So far as I can tell, that’s not currently reported.

Decent but slow & buggy
Face ID doesn’t stay active. It will work once, then the app reverts to wanting a PIN for any vehicle control actions. If I go back into the menu and enable Face ID, it will work only on the next action. Rinse and Repeat. The Apple Watch app, while handy, is slow to start up, often cycling through screens saying login is required or there is no vehicle attached to the account, before eventually letting me remote start, lock, or unlock the vehicle. Also, probably a vehicle limitation rather than the app, but it would be really nice to be able to turn on the passenger heated seat when remote starting as well.

New owner app doesn’t work
For one I have to turn wifi off to get it go even login. Fuel still says full, I even opened app while digging in my new overland with it running and it didn’t update. My “preferred” dealer has to be selected every time I log in….when I’m able to log in which isn’t often. I’m wondering if my new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L that I literally had built in January and picked up a week ago already needs a software update? I’m already not real happy I couldn’t get the entertainment system for rear…not available on any of the higher end models if you can believe that. Now this app doesn’t work. I had a 2015 grand Cherokee and a long line of Jeeps before that. I’m a believer in Jeep just frustrated at these little problems.

Jeep App no longer accessible to non-XM Guardian subscpribers
Like many, I only used the original Mopar and Jeep apps to access online manuals and schedule service for my 2021 Jeep. However when forced to upgrade to the “new” all-in-one Jeep app a few months ago, I quickly discovered you now need to have a XM-Guardian subscription to add your vehicle to the app to access ANY of the previous free vehicle information or schedule maintenance services !! I could care less about the remote services offered through XM-Guardian or any other services being pushed by XM-Guardian!I I only want information on my 2021 Grand Cherokee! and schedule routine maintenance through the app. Shame on FCA for selling out their customers to XM-Guardian . This will be my last Jeep!

No help from app developer
This is my third review in the last two months The last two I received I got a response from the developer that they wanted to help and I should contact them. Even after working with them and giving them my info to help solve the problem nothing has changed and this app is worthless. I don’t believe the developers have any interest in providing a good working app. Their support is non existent and any network server they might have is weak and not built for the service they pretend to provide. UPDATE: Michael, This is not my struggle. The problem is there is no support from the network that the app resides on. I can go directly to my mopar account and the vehicle information is the same. There is no problem from my end of the network. The wifi in my Jeep is connected and the software up to date. There is no reason the vehicle information shouldn’t be transmitting to the provider network except for lack of support. This is a simple fix. Other automobile companies have great support and constant vehicle updates for their apps.
