I had the great privilege of having a sister who was a fashion genius. My sister Irene now is in heaven. My children were blessed to have her in their lives as their beloved Aunt. She was their loving Aunt who supported them like a Mom and selected clothing for them that was always incredible. Now shopping for a prom gown is extremely difficult today without her —and to add I am not a fashionista like Irene was. Nonetheless, my daughter and I did go out shopping and she tried on 20 different gowns. None of which impressed either of us. The plan was to a bridal store on the next shopping trip. This to me was unbelievably difficult. So before going to work, I asked God to please help me find Celeste a gown—He knew this was not my forte. I looked up elegant gowns for proms and this beautiful gown come up with a color pallet that was incredible. It was stunning. I asked my daughter what she thought of it. She really liked it. She wanted a particular color which she found. So we did her measurements and thank you Jesus it arrived today. It is perfect. Thank you God for your help in finding this dress. I think my sister knew of our issue and talked to God too. God is in the details always! Thank you for making this dress so exceptionally well and it is truly gorgeous. God Bless the dress makers! I found my new Go-To!

I am very happy I discovered JJ’s House online! They have so many dress styles to choose from. The color palette from which to choose is plentiful. I highly recommend that you order fabric swatches before you buy a dress. They are very reasonably priced and shipping is FREE. The shade of a color can vary greatly from fabric to fabric. Most swatches provide the color in satin, chiffon, and charmeuse. They recently added a gorgeous emerald green in stretch satin!! Lastly, I absolutely LOVE the Try Before You Buy option!! The shipping fee is very low priced and that nominal amount covers shipping to my home and back, should I need to return it. If I decide to keep the dress I try before I buy, I save an additional 20%! I cannot say enough good things about JJ’s House. The quality is excellent. Quality Upscale Products at Reasonable Prices

My daughters and I have been shopping at JJ's house for 10 to 12 years now. We have purchased a prom dress, a bridesmaids dress, a mother of the bride dress, a formal dress, shapewear, lingerie, and even one of their wedding dresses. All of their products are very well-made and very reasonably priced. I also like their Try on at home program, where one is charged a small price to try on up to 3 dresses at home, and then send them back within a week. That program is an excellent way to really get an idea of sizing, quality, fabric weight and feel. I order my dresses to fit the largest part of my body and then take them to a seamstress for alterations. The alterations people are always very impressed with the quality and beauty of the dresses. We will continue shopping JJ's house in the future for quality formal apparel. Thank you.

Jj house makes life easy!!!!

I was able to pick my wedding gown online and then it eventually was available to use as a Tryon. And I absolutely loved it! Until I could get what I thought I really wanted, which was this dress, I was trying on other dresses. So much easier than going to a bridal place. Plus, it was easy to tryon at home versus trying to get the wedding girls to come out to a place to zip up your dress. I was towing in between sending my exact measurements or just trying it and then having a local person, adjust the few needed adjustments. I decided to go with the general size and then have the local person tweak it a smidge. Does anybody know a local person to adjust my size either in Philadelphia, or in Williamsport Pennsylvania? The Review is Strictly Based off Customer Service

I have been trying to communicate with them over a package that was marked as delivered but was either delivered at the wrong address or stolen. I ordered a $10 try on and I’m trying to make sure I’m not going to get charged for it because it’s only a 5 day period and it took already 2 days just for the first response. When I asked a question about what they wanted it took yet another 2 days and they still did not answer the question, I sent both an email AND a message through their messaging system on the app that they take days responding to. After not getting my questions properly answered I warned them of they didn’t give me a proper response within a time frame (because my time with the dress would be up) I would be canceling my credit card, I STILL DID NOT get one so I canceled it. I’m not playing games with this company or any company the dress I ordered is beautiful and would have loved it for the wedding I am going to but I’m going to have to look elsewhere now.

Excellent Service

Bought my wedding dress from Jjs and it was very nice, quality was excellent and very fast shipment. I had mine custom made and it was perfect when I received it and it was way more than I expected from purchasing online. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. I also got my veil and hair accessories and they were also of great quality and was very pleased with all my purchases. If you order from their regular size dresses according to your size they do run true to size but the length is a little long but easy enough to fix unless you go custom at no additional charge. Say yes to the dress from JJsHouse you won’t regret it! Ps. The dresses come exactly as they are pictured no worries on getting something you weren’t expecting and be disappointed.❤️💍👰‍♀️💒

Satisfied Customer

I recently found this company on line. I’ve had some bad experiences with buying clothes this way and was hesitant, but I got their app and felt a bit better that the company was legit. I started with ordering 6 swatches and chose a color for my mother of the bride dress. I love the try on option. I chose 6 styles/sizes to try, 3 at a time. It was so easy and free to return them after I had made up my mind. Then I custom ordered my dress with my measurements. I gave my height as 3” shorter as I didn’t want to have it hemmed. The dress is perfect! I can’t say enough about how great a experience this was! And with all the swatches and try one, the total was still less than the local bridal shop and alterations. I look forward to purchasing more dresses from JJ’s House in the future.

Wish you had a store!

I have not ordered anything yet but I sure have found a lot of dresses I would love to try on versus what I’m finding in the stores. Your selection is unique and of course the color palette is so broad it’s amazing. I love the way you could just click on the color and see the dress in that color. You’ve really done a good job with this website. I just wish you had a store I could go into; I would literally fly to wherever your store is at in the United States! Is there anything like that here? Nice job I’m gonna be ordering a dress soon. And your prices are amazing. Some of the shops that I have gone to locally and showed the dresses that I’m looking for from your store they have said people have bought from you with good luck.

Such a deal!

When I discovered JJ’s, I was blown away by all the gorgeous dresses, and could not believe that those dresses could be sold for those prices. I read many of the reviews, and was impressed by the positive statements. I found a mother-of-the-bride dress in the final sale section for $49. I figured that for $49, I would give it a try. My dress was delivered within a week. I was so impressed by the workmanship and quality, that I ordered another dress so I could have a choice of dresses to wear. I ordered my regular size, and it fit as if it had been custom made for me. I will have to shorten it considerably, but the cost of hemming plus the cost of the dress is far less than a similar dress would be at a bridal shop. I am so impressed that I have begun telling others of JJ’s House.

So Happy!

I just received 3 dresses to try & have decided on my favorite . All 3 were beautifully made , absolutely gorgeous ! I was really worried that I would not receive them in time - I am in the US - I did order them 4 wks in advance & needed a dress for a work trip to Las Vegas this weekend June 19th , but received notification they they would not arrive until June 21st - I was so stressed out ! I did send an a message on the chat link on the website , noting my predicament , and I kept checking my tracking updates & was so happy to see that they would be delivered today the 18th instead of the 21st . Not sure how it happened but thank you JJ’s - will definitely use you again & recommend you - thank you !

Professional Workmanship

I purchased a dress on clearance for under $60 to see color and fit BEFORE I purchased “final”— I decided to use dress for daughter’s wedding. Pleasantly surprised that dress did not have any imperfections and color was perfect. Size was a tiny bit bigger than I expected. NO seams are visible inside dress due to slip inside and lace is very nice. Only negative is store does not offer petite sizes so had to pay seamstress for alterations BUT the cost was still under $150! (Only because I paid extra for the great job she did!) Seamstress said professional work of original seamstress made the dress worth over $300! Plan to order more from them and hope other items are just as good!! Thank you JJs

Great customer service

I'm really impressed with the customer service, they communicated with me every step of the way. The dress and accessories arrived in plenty of time. It was my first dress order and decided to order a larger size rather than go with the custom measurements. The dress is beautiful! Unfortunately, it needed altering. I enquired whether to order a smaller dress and return this one. Given that I had a deadline of dec 15, I decided to have the dress altered! To my surprise, jjhouse responded that they will refund me 40%, to offset the cost of alterations! Again, I say amazing customer service! Now, I didn't know is that the alternative actually cost more than the dress! That's okay, it will fit perfectly once done!

Variety, Quality & Convenience

Couldn’t be more pleased with finding JJ’s for finding dresses for any and all occasions, from the convenience of my home! The online shopping experience is high quality, they have models that show each dress in motion, which is fabulous—and it allows you to look at it in the color of your choice. You can try them on first to be sure you like it or choose a size that fits best for a reasonable fee, and the prices are fantastic! There is no need to travel all around town to different stores and be limited to styles, colors and sizes..unless I’m really in a pinch for time, I can’t see buying a dress anywhere else from now on!

JJ’s has a new fan!

My first time as a customer and I am delighted. Being skeptical of on line quality I was surprised by the fine quality of the fabric and finish of the clothing. I asked lot of questions and their customer support team was quick and helpful. I took their advice and used the ‘try it on’ before buying which helped ease my sizing anxiety. The dresses were as pictured and they arrived ahead of promise. The shipment tracking is a good feature as I was working on a deadline. They included a return label and sending back the 2 dresses I didn’t keep was a breeze. I highly recommend JJ’s. I plan to try a custom made dress next - all the fun of designing without the hassle.

So pleased

After having so many bad experiences ordering on line to only get the product and find out it was oriental size. JJSHOUSE clothing and accessories are exactly as they advertise and shoe in the pictures. I was kept in the know through their website. I received stuff quicker than they advised it would take, and though it was sent in a box they definitely took the time to ensure nothing got ruined in the shipping process. They placed the dress inside out folded very neatly. I can’t speak highly enough on the professionalism that is behind their products. Being a larger plus size woman I will definitely shop with them again for special occasion clothing.

Late shipment

I ordered a wedding dress and veil since January 08, 2022. It is already April 25, 2022 and I still have yet to receive my order by mail. It is a frustrating thing not knowing whether or not you will be receiving dress on time for the big day. It’s also frustrating to see tracking barely changing for months at a time. It would have been nice to get updates about shipment as to exact time and date it will be arriving instead of always just apologizing and offering coupons. I rather have the dress I already paid for, thank you. I asked for refund and best they can say is that they can’t give refund until dress is returned. But I haven’t received dress and veil yet. It might not even be here in time. Wedding on June 03. Please ensure that when you order, you get info on shipping first and guarantee that it arrives at an appropriate time.

Absolutely beautiful! Mulberry is a beautiful color. The dress is simple but elegant. Love the covered buttons. Highly recommend trying on before you buy program. Order different colors to try on too. Colors of fabrics even vary from the swatches you order. Would not have chosen mulberry based on the swatch but did when I saw it in an actual dress. My girls all had to order 2 sizes bigger than they normally wear. No alterations were needed. Wonderful experience and so happy with the quality and beauty of this bridesmaid dress. This picture is of the sample we ordered. It's in the color maybe but shows the detail of the back of the dress. So pretty!

Beautiful & quality dresses

My daughter purchased her beautiful wedding dress after a friend told about her own great experience with JJ’s. It was exactly as shown & described & the quality is so good. The attention to details in her dress amazes me. So I purchased my mothers dress & it couldn’t be more perfect! Both dresses were a fraction of the cost of dresses in bridal shops with all the quality plus more detail than I ever expected! Very happy with this option. I have purchased another dress to wear at another family wedding & can’t wait to get it…I’m sure I won’t be disappointed! My daughter’s bridesmaids are also getting their dresses from here…they should be arriving soon!

So glad I found JJ’s House before my daughter’s wedding!

All of the flower girl dresses we saw were in heavy fabrics with lots of lace and tulle. We wanted my three granddaughters to wear simple white linen summer dresses for an outdoor wedding, followed by dinner and dancing inside a renovated barn. JJ’s House had just what my daughter and I wanted. They arrived quickly and each dress fit perfectly. My daughter was concerned that I did not have a dress, as I tend to leave mine to the last minute. I ordered an A-line, V-neck, Floor Length navy blue dress, that complimented the bridesmaids dresses, and everyone loved it! I referred anyone who asked to JJ’s House. I am happy to refer when I had such a positive experience. Will order again from JJ’s House.

BEST DRESSES and SHOES EVER!

I love JJsHouse site both online and in the app. Convenient and thorough. Great search filters too. No matter your size, it is here and at a great price compared to retail. The Final Sale is amazing!! I come back again and again. Quantity items and beautiful designs. I ordered a few dresses and am SO HAPPY at the fit. Ignore the numbered sizing and just measure yourself. If you are honest and ignore the size number (it’s just a number after all) the fit is perfect. I also ordered some dance shoes for the comfort and durable construction. Not for a lot of outside use (full leather suede sole) but really great fit and comfortable. True to size and perfect matching to all my dresses. THANK YOU JJSHOUSE!!!

Love their dresses

Beautiful, custom made dresses in many designs and colors. Tailoring and shipping is extremely quick. Website estimate of delivery times is extremely accurate. I couldn’t be more pleased. I was a little concerned if they would make it on time when I realized the dresses shipped out of China as I’ve ordered items in the past from other retailers that took several weeks to clear customs. I was impressed at how quickly my dresses cleared customs and made it to my house. The shipping service they use is fast. I would absolutely order from them again. They are my go to dress makers from now on.

Beautiful dress

I ordered a dress from JJ’s House, and I was a little nervous that was coming so far that it wouldn’t actually arrive. The dresser arrived exactly when they said it would ,exactly as it appeared online …it fit beautifully, and I followed the chart for sizing and the dress fits as though it was made for me. Price point was very good for the quality of the dress. It is very well-made, and the color is absolutely gorgeous. The online app gave me updates to track my package. The shipping cost is only $16 and my package came all the way from Singapore through multiple other avenues and got to me in good shape.I would order again 😀

My entire experience with this company has been great. I sent quite a few messages and always received prompt, informative replies the “try on” three dresses and return what you don’t like is an excellent option. The return process is very smooth, as is the refund, I worked with other companies through this same process and it has been a nightmare. JJ’s also has high-quality product and reasonable prices. The dress I chose is stunning and beautifully made. I will definitely recommend this company and purchase from them again.

LOVE my wedding dress!!

I’m short and round, so I wasWorried about ordering my wedding dress online. I followed the instructions for measuring and ordered a lovely dress. For the extra $20 it was so worth it to get the customization. When my wedding dress arrived I couldn’t wait to try it on! It was so beautiful. It fit exactly like my measurements were given. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit where the lace was around my upper arms, but it did! I am so pleased and can’t wait for my fiancé to see me walk towards him on our wedding day. Thank you so much. I recommend JJ‘s house to anyone that doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a beautiful, well-made dress.

Really Impressed!

My daughters wedding is in the fall so I thought I better get on it and try and find a dress. I sent away for two of the gowns to do a try for size and I did order some swatches. My order day 16 and an 18 and surprisingly they both fit however I know the size I will order. The gowns are beautiful. They look just like the photos and surprisingly the length is great as I’m petite. I’m reviewing the speediness of the turnaround to get these dresses. I’m quite impressed. I will make a final selection and I will do another review and post my pictures but my experience has been great with JJ’s House!

So easy to work with

I placed an order for shoes from the company and had a small issue with my shipping address. I live in a very rural area where we don’t get delivery at our homes through the Post Office, so they were unable to use my street address. They worked with me so that I can get my order quickly and without having to worry about the post office returning it to the sender because we used a street address. For a small additional fee, I am confident that my order will arrive safely. I know I’m going to love my new shoes when they arrive. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

They are awesome!!!

I was super skeptical to order from this site because it seemed to good to be true but I am so glad I did! From the trying the dresses process and ordering, they make everything so easy! And their communication is top notch. Not to mention their quality! I was afraid my dress was not going to make on time for my sister’s wedding because I took too long to decide on a dress because I loved all the ones I tried. my dress

I ordered a dress off of here on 7/3. It has not arrived yet. It’s is 7/20. The wedding that I’m going to is on 7/24 so if it doesn’t come by tomorrow then I’ll have no dress to wear to the wedding. I’m sure it’s gonna come tomorrow or even today (it’s 1:00 am) but I am super worried. Their service is great though! But if you’d like to order a dress on here make sure to order it wayy earlier then your event because it might come late. You’ll get to put what day your event is and I put my event as 7/21 so it could come early in case but it still hasn’t come. so just beware and make sure to order it earlier than you would usually order something for an event.

So Far So Good!

Using this app to pick a bridesmaid dress and get my boys matching bow ties! I love they have jewelry, shoes, undergarments, dress shirts, etc all in one spot! You can pick the color your looking for and it brings up all the options available for that color! I haven’t got to order anything yet because It’s so hard to chose one out of all the amazing options that they have! They also have a program where you can pay a little bit of money and get dresses to try on before you buy them!! Will update my review after I order but so far a very positive experience!!

They arrived in individual bag in one large bag. They fit smaller than my normal ( I usually wear a 12 dead on no adjustments needed) and the size 14 fit well it will need some adjusting but looks like it’s not going to be much. I will have my daughter choose the dress she would like me to wear as these were all so nice (I’d say same quality as a bridal shop) I can’t decide on which one I like best colors were pretty close to what it looked like on the computer. I will definitely order one for my daughter’s wedding and I will order another dress for my mother to wear to the same wedding.

Perfect Mother of the Bride dress

I was so thrilled when I received my dress. I had gone to so many dress shops and could not find anything for my daughters wedding in May. After deciding on a dress I ordered the try on option. The dress is perfect I used the measurement guide and it is like the dress was made for me. The fit is perfect. The color is exactly what I saw pictured on the website. The dress came within a week. This could not have been easier. Thank you JJ’s I was starting to think I’d never find a dress for my daughter’s wedding. I highly recommend using the try on option.

My wrong turned right Personal Experience

I ordered a dress and in doing so decided to submit my measurements since their sizing chart seemed hugely off. I received an email back from JJ’s stating that my measurements seemed off and if I wouldn’t mind if the dressmaker increased the dress in certain areas. I explained that I had someone take my measurements and I am no seamstress so I really don’t know. I guess since they are the professional we will go with what they say... better to be too big than too small. I received my dress in 1 1/2 -2 weeks. It seemed like it came really fast. I was nervous about trying it on due to the last minute changes. Well it did not fit ☹️ in fact it was huge on me. After crossing the communication barriers (I strongly suggest that you you email and not chat an agent) JJ’s House was VERY Accommodating and went above to assist in rectifying the situation to my satisfaction. It was a Win /Win! Thank you Jesus & Thank you JJ’s House! You rock!

Easy to use beautiful dresses

I love the website and there are so many beautiful dresses, the try on process is easy to use and compared to other sites there are way more options for try on and size options. I wish try on was a bit less expensive or that there were a few locations you could try on some of the clothes because then I would probably purchase way more. I am too nervous to purchase until Iv tried something on and not all dresses fit similarly so I do feel I need to try on more. However for what it is and compared to other sites of its kinds it is the best.

The quality of the dress

I ordered to wear to my Son’s wedding. I was very skeptical of ordering online for such an important day. When I opened the box and removed it from the bag I was astounded by the quality of the fabric, the perfect fit (I went by your sizing chart). These are not at all cheaply made dresses. You are my go for future special occasions. I have praised your site to SO many people and will continue to do so. Try on options

I’m looking for a gown for my daughters wedding and I’m not able to drive at the moment so to try numerous dresses at once for $10/ dress is a fabulous option. You don’t necessarily get to try on the color you want but at least the you can try the dress on for size and fit. JJs House makes returning very easy. Also after ordering, the dresses came very quickly and you are able to track your delivery. I haven’t found the dress yet but I am ordering 3 more and hopefully I will say “Yes” to one of those dresses. Thank you JJs House Tina

Excellent Variety

I am ordering from JJ’s House for the first time. The initial thing I noticed, was their prompt attention to the customer through a chat. I liked that! Thank you! All of my questions and concerns were addressed thru the chat. I ordered a couple of dresses that night. I think there’s still one more dress in my cart. Now I’m waiting for them to arrive. Also, shipping dates were very reasonable and not a month or two out. I will do a follow up review after I receive the dresses. For now, thank you so much! Looking forward to receiving the dresses.

Absolutely loved the dress

I was able to order and have my daughters prom dress shipped!! I’m praying it arrives on time will update when I receive my order! But so far I would order from them again! Her dress arrived 2 days before her prom!!! Thank you JK House for coming through for my daughter she deserved this so much! She looked stunning in her dress like a porcelain doll! Mother of the bride dress

The dress came in a timely fashion and fit perfectly. They kept in communication with me regarding the transit of the dress as well as giving me a reality check when the initial measurements I sent were not quite right and asked me to verify them before they continued making the dress. They were right about the measurements 😜. That could have gone south fast and I’m really thankful for that. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I saved lots of money because I now don’t have to pay for alterations.

Love this store!

I live in a rural area and dress shopping requires a little over an hour drive time. I have very little time to shop so this Try-before-you-buy is wonderful! I’ve been shopping for a dress for my niece’s wedding for several weeks. Once I found JJ’s I stopped stressing. The dresses are beautiful, well-made and well-fitting. It took a couple of tries to find my right size but now I have a beautiful dress that makes me feel beautiful and I didn’t have to drive for hours find it! JJ’s is my new favorite dress shop!

Very accommodating

This online store was very accommodating to me. I ordered a dress in a larger size and it still did not fit me so instead of taking back the dress and charging restocking fees, and all that, I decided to keep the dress and lose weight! So, because I kept the dress. they sent me a coupon for half the amount that I paid for the dress for a future purchase, so I decided to use it for a mother of the bride‘s dress, which worked out perfect. Great company to purchase from, and their quality of item is very high.

Super quality!!

I have ordered twice already and I will be putting in my third order soon!! Ordered a dress for my daughter’s wedding first, outstanding quality at the fraction of the price that high end stores charge! Fast shipping and sizes are exactly what the charts states. I recently received my second order of a dress for another wedding and I’m looking for my third dress for my nephews wedding. I also have a dress in my cart for my daughter’s baby shower! Excellent customer service!!

Had a question about a coupon issue not working they explained why it was invalid and honored a very similar coupon instead. they are very communicative even though there is a time difference they got back to me very very quickly which is huge when you’re ordering for such a special occasion. they are very professional and treat every order with great importance, I look forward to getting my custom dress and ordering more in the future!

Love this

I must say that this is the best way ever to be able and try on not 1 but 3 dresses and be able to return them back and so forth. This is a great idea and perfect for those who hate trying on dresses. It’s easy, you are in your own home, comfort zone and you get to choose which dress to try on, and which dress you will be wearing. All of them are gorgeous too. I love it. It’s definitely true to size so make sure you order your actual size. And return on time. This is my favorite app

Wonderful experience!

I ordered a custom fit dress for my first wedding of a grandchild. I’ve never done this before, and I was anxious about making this choice. From the very beginning of the ordering process up to the receipt of my order, it was great. You kept me informed of the shipping process, and I could even add notes that very day, which the deliverer followed. All my items were together, and the shoes and dress are exactly, or better, than portrayed on my computer. I will definitely be a repeat customer of J J’s House!

This dress shop is absolutely wonderful. From there beautiful gowns to there shoes this store really amazed me it lets you order dresses to try on at home and ship back even. They do alterations and make the dress a perfect fit even from far away!! My online ordering experience has an easy fun experience and the staff or the people on the other end of the app are very fast at getting back to you and answer all your questions from start to finish. Love this place

Easy returns

I was shopping for a mother of the bride dresses I’m in California USA and it was so easy to return I ordered five dresses for JJsHouse. I kept one send the other back and accidentally sent a sixth one that I had purchased from Nordstrom‘s. Your company mailed The Nordstrom’s dress back to me, at my surprise. JJsHouse said that it was not one of their dresses, JJs House is a very reputable. 👍 ————-another issue—————- My shipping address is incomplete, it is missing the street numbers for my address should be; 3657 Iroquois Avenue Hoping your staff looked at my past order and was able to find the street address. I really need those dancing shoes I’m at 68 years young lady moving to a retirement community. My goal is by next year when I move I will have my dancing shoes because I’m going to take dance lessons to meet another something in your young man to be my knight in shining armor.

Loving your Quality

I saw some of your work before I made my order so I knew that you made quality pieces. The dress I ordered was also quite beautiful and very well made but too small. My daughter said Mom you normally order a size larger than you normally wear and then you get the fit you need. I never ordered a formal dress like this before—I hope there will be other occasions to try again. It’s such a pretty dress that I really hate that it doesn’t fit.

Having problems with the app

This is my first time ordering but I didn’t know it was so difficult to reach you guys I didn’t understand the app fiddling around with my phone I was able to find this review section and this is why I’m submitting this review. I tried to cancel this order but I couldn’t find how to do that and therefore I was too late to cancel and now you want to charge me a percentage without me even receiving the product I submitted my phone number when I put the order in why I was not contacted that way it would have been easy I do not want to lose my money 40% of what I’m entitled to get back it’s a big chunk of money I will try on the dresses but it will be the last time I buy cause I don’t like that part of the deal
