I have four different earbud styles or product types. My first purchase were “GO true air wireless earbuds”. At first I was thinking they weren’t for me. The sound was excellent! The fit not so much. I was disappointed and put them in electronic storage. Lol A couple weeks later I decided to try again. I put the cushions on and tried the different size bud-tips. I found a decent setup but not still not comfortable. I found myself constantly having to adjust. I’ve grown used to them and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s just my ears. Lol I’m thinking the housing or shape of the earbud and my ear opening don’t work well. Like I mentioned above, I continued to keep trying, few months went by and I found I could tolerate the weird fit. Lol Everything else was well above my expectations. I’m a self proclaimed audiophile, so full range, clarity and over all sound quality is paramount. These buds pack so much sound and in extreme high quality. I wish they’d fit better so I wasn’t adjusting to keep the optimal sound quality but in fairness I have to give a five star rating. They are excellent in battery life, the three EQ settings are super, I use bass boost exclusively. The charging and storage case are very nice exceptional quality all round. I’ve never had a tech issue. Wonderful overall I’d definitely recommend.
I always had problems with other brands of Headphones, especially the Bluetooth ones. JLab However seem to satisfy my needs every time. I have used the Wired ones a lot and every snag, every door nob that caught the cord, and every time I drop my phone and it yanks the cord, these Headphones never broke or stopped working. And the Sound Quality, oh don’t even get me started. I have four words for JLab, “The base hits Hard!” I have never felt true BOOM in headphones until I used JLab. Another thing is the end, very comfortable and it doesn’t Hurt my ear when it falls out. I thank you all for creating these Headphones Once the Bluetooth ones came out however...that changed everything. Base: CHECK Quality: CHECK Battery life: AMAZING Comfort: CHECK they are the perfect pair I ever put in my ear. Same Quality, same base, and same comfort all in one wireless Earbud. Thank you all at JLab for making these, and thank you for making them so good in every way. Keep up the good work!
I’ve had my twenty dollar JLab Bluetooth earbuds for over a year and they sounded okay before but now wow! Since about 14hrs of the burn in tool the bass is far more articulate than before the vocals and instruments in that range have a much greater sense of space and the highs have much more sizzle than before! I also find that the overall sound is no longer fatiguing when listening for long periods. If the noise used to achieve this wouldn’t drive me and my neighbors insane I would try it on my other equipment too. Really thanks!
I’m on my 3rd Jab ear buds. Each was an improvement over the previous one. I’m now using the JLab mini. In spite of their small size the audio quality is great. The only downside is due to the small size it can be difficult to do the double or triple tap to perform some functions. I have learned Higi place them in my ears to make them easier to use!
I have the jlab jbuds air executive headphones. My job I do a lot of independent work so I listen to a lot of music & the wire-in kept snagging so I went wireless. I purchased Go Air Pro & the Air Executive trying to be cheap fill I purchased better headphones. But the ear sizes didn’t work. My ear pieces kept falling out of my ear & I wore a beanie as a solution. I was constantly losing my connection. I tried this for a week with same problems. I have a IPhone Max XS I was fed up by lunch/break I bought a $15 pair of headphones for the gas station & the Bluetooth connection was not lost. These headphones are CRAP (yes I’m am REALLY censoring my language) these need to be taken off store shelves...
These headphones I got are....well....trash yes that’s the right word. What I mean by trash is the battery I have it on my heAd for like five minutes and they say low battery. BUT THEY CHARGEING FOR LIKE THREE DAYS BRU The fit is really good and the quality of sound is awesome the instructions said that they would last like uh 20 hours but ha they don’t they last like five to 20 minutes Otherwise they’re pretty good for 20$. I’d suggest to save your money for more expensive headphones unless this company has higher quality headphones Developers great on it but work on the battery for next pair of headphones u make
I wish they had a app so if you lose one side you can find it. Examples JBL, Samsung
It’s a good true wireless Bluetooth but I wish they had a app so if you lose one side you can find it. Examples JBL, Samsung So I’m a customer and I had my JLab earbuds true wireless for about 4 months. And yesterday I lost one side. I don’t know how to find them do you guys have a app?
I bought a pair of their headphones let me just say Cannot Bluetooth a headphones and controller without losing synchronization Cannot cover with fedora beanie ect Fragile when you pick up a product it just feels cheap When I turn them on I hear a very faint static noise can’t hear it with noise ofcourse I just thought I would mention it since A pair of quality headphones wouldn’t There are 3 sound settings balanced/default, bassboosted/no difference?? And their jlab signature which sounds better but I’m not sure why all I know is it’s not as crummy Worst of all my left earbud has stopped working no lights/no sound my right one is fine and I’ve tried all troubleshooting options
All this app is a product page and white noise player
So the description make it sound like it was this awesome app that had EQ and other sound tuning tools, all the burn in tool is, is a link to a static sound file. Other than that they just try to sell u other products. 🤦♂️
I got the headphones to use with my MacBook Pro. The audio keeps stuttering. In trying to troubleshoot a solution, I came across this burn-in tool. Unfortunately, every attempt to load the tool crashes the app. I can’t use these headphones if the audio keeps stuttering. If I can’t solve this issue, I will need to return these for a refund.
This app CANNOT even help you with burn-in. Just download SoundCloud. This app does not provide any more than 10 minutes of burn in. You heard me right. The app points you to a website link to loop the audio for burn-in and the website tells you to go to app.
I’m not sure what was used as a model to make these headphones, but they don’t fit human ears even with the smallest size. In addition they advertise like a 20 hour battery life - it’s less than six hours. Definitely will be returning. Stop false advertising. Do not buy these headphones.
Bought new set of headphones and trying to burn in. You must stay on the app page and keep your phone awake or it will stop the process and you have to start over. Can’t find anything in the web either
The burn in feature is just a 20 minute audio file you can find on browser just by searching "JLab burn in" and yes, running this file on your headphones does slightly improve the audio. This app is just one giant ad for JLab's sub-par products. Do. Not. Download. This.
I grabbed a pair of these headphones from Walmart off the rack for 15 bucks, I can’t hear a thing, the sounds all muddy. Also the headphones barely fit on my head and are really uncomfortably tight. This is the worst headphone purchase I’ve made so far.
App closes during burn-in, as soon as phone screen turns off. Can’t even resume the burn-in session or, better yet, download the audio file to do the burn-in using the music app.
I downloaded the app and I went help on the app because my ear puds both sides decided to stop working and then all it does is bring me to different ear buds that I DONT want to buy😡!!!
Bought a bluetooth headset for conference calls; laptop couldn’t get anything out of the mic. App is a glorified sales pitch for buying more crap; doesn’t resolve any issues. Money wasted.
I bought some of there headphones for 22$ and one of the speakers stop working for no reason sorry but there trash headphones and needs a lot of work AirPods are better than this sorry
mostly marketing CRAP💩💩 as others have noted, this app exist mostly to upsell even the forum is largely spin and “burn-in” is a well-known load, as you’ll discover if you search it no adjustments to the JLab product can be made in-app, unlike with the Plantronics analogue (which also has a finder)
JLab should have battery checker app and other because it helps you check your jlab battery life before it dies and the app should be able Change volume + track control so you could listen to music better etc.
I fly a lot and my flights are usually 3-4 hrs long. And I listen to a lot of music , pod casts , movies etc. so I grabbed a pair of these headphones that suggested getting this app to “burn them in” figuring what the hell better than tiny ear buds I’ll probably lose. Yeah. Um no. They’re ok crafted but the sound is awful on the head phones , down loaded this app and what do you know! Still awful. The app is even worse. Why you might be asking. It’s literally an app to sell you more products that’s it. Oh and it tells you how to connect them to Bluetooth..... as if anyone under the age of 55 can’t figure that out fairly easy. I gave it a one star and I’d have given it less if I could have.
This app puts itself forward as something needed for the headphones to function properly. Then this function should be don in factory before shipping to market , in my opinion. I will perform this function while listening to them not wasting hours with them connected to white noise. I’m not that much of a sound maven I just want good sound. I’m sure I won’t notice the 40 hour mark when it comes and goes. That said. This apps primary function is to sell you more of their stuff. It is an online catalog. It has nothing to do with the function of the headphones other than the ridiculous burn in function. Deleted
I have actually noticed an increase in sound quality after the first 3hrs of use, which does include non-burn in sound. The only reason I hate this app is that I cannot run the track while the device is off. Why would I want to waste my battery on that. The app would be much more useful if I could actually do work that doesn't require audio while also playing the loop. Minor downside is a lack of iPad compatibility, but it is not unusable.
I I don't need the app. Unless of course you retroactively add in color distinctions in the blue tooth menu. For some reason my wife didn't like in-ear headphones, but with wearing glasses all day and astigmatism preventing comfortable contact wear with any brand, in-ear is the only way to go for me. They all are identical in my Bluetooth settings. AT LEAST THEY STAY SORTED.
First week they work perfectly. Now everyone is telling me they hearing their voices and much feed back. Didn’t expect this at all being my first time getting into this brand. I try giving them a chance thinking it was due to where I was. But as a driver and when I’m at home I get the same thing now I know that this product ain’t all that. Jlabaudio reach out to me I paid for a working product not one to disturb my mind and my daily conversations.
Maybe if you want repeat customers you should try supporting America a bit more. We liked your product and want to support an American company so we ordered another speaker, only before it got here we received an email explaining how JLab was going to add 25% to the price tag in support of China. You know we would gladly spend that 25% extra to employee an American. Needless to say returned the speaker the same day it arrived. Thanks for nothing. Maybe you should relocate to China
It says the headphones should play the burn in tool 5-8 hours a day for a week, for a total of 40 hours. But the sound only plays when the app is opened on the screen. If you switch to another app, or if the screen goes into sleep, the sound stops playing. Who has time to dedicate their phone to this Burn-in for 5-8 hours a day?
Main purpose is to try and sell you stuff after you just bought something in the first place. If you actually wanna do the burnin all it does is redirect to a webpage that asks for email to send the audio file AND sends you newsletters if you want them or not. Can get the audio file the exact same way as the app on the website.
I downloaded the app thinking that it would be a resource for the product I already own. I thought I could update, change and even locate my headphones through this app. However the app is more less for new customers. So it’s pretty pointless..
This is seriously flawed if the only way the app will work is if you are actively in the application and your phone never shuts off. You can't do anything else on your phone while the burn in process is happening. This needs to be fixed, until then I am deleting the app
What burn in tool? The app just makes you sign up for their mailing list and promises to send you a ‘burn in file’. And then never sends it. The app only exists to get your email address so they can send you promotions and hawk other products. Seriously? Can’t you do better than this? Not a very good way to build customer trust. Not impressed.
