Who ever came up eith the halh baked idea to use face scanning? Only bank in Thailand that dies this. Does not work. Tried 10 times. Failed every time. Does not tell you why it failed. The old app was quite good. Very usable. You allready have a picture of all your customers. If you really want to use face recognition then Fire your Fevelooer and hite someone competent enough to produce a working program. The online app isalso very cartoonish comparef to other Thai Banks, but for now i will just have to continue using it. I will however just phase out this bank and use others.
Once you finally get this set up it's a pretty good app. Just keep in mind when you set it up it keeps telling you to shut off the Internet. What it needs to tell you is to use cell data only. And then at some point you have to go back and turn on the Internet. It's kind of frustrating to set up. And for a big bank like this it's kind of embarrassing that they would have an app that is so difficult to install. But then again it's Thailand. Is there
i’m in Singapore and the app used to work fine. But now I can’t go through the registration process thus I have lost access to the account. The old process just requires a Thai mobile number, which i have, but the new process does not use mobile number for verification. there’s no way i can travel to Thailand during this pandemic and it’s unconscionable for this app to cut off overseas users like this.
Recently I gave this a one star. I would like to change to 4 star. My AIS sims card was not compatible with bank. Went to AIS store and told them the issue, received a new sims card and that fix the issue.
Banking app goes offline every single night around midnight and makes it impossible to scan QR codes for payment or transfer funds to another person’s account. You never know what time it will actually stop working or start working again. Will be switching banks soon.
Ever since the app was updated I haven’t been able to use it at ALL. They make you do this face scanner to confirm your ID, but it always glitches so you can’t even finish the registration process to use the app. SO frustrating because now I can’t do any mobile banking. 🤯
I couldn’t even log in because the app asked me to scan my face. My phone doesn’t support face scanner. Consequently, I couldn’t enter and use the app. What a stupid improvements! Think about it those who don’t have cell phones support face scanning
it is not possible to use an foreign phone number. even if you register with an thai number it will not work on ipad or ipod touch. it spys you out by wants to use location and phone number and search devices on your lokal network. not save cause top, otp come to same device where the app is installed. savety nit work like the app designers think. even old otp paper lists are more save.
Terrible app - an and now they force you to use it after they canceled online banking. What a terrible bank. What a terrible service. And the app doesn’t even work.
Ever since upgrading, the pin code cannot be entered. The app will not accept any input of numbers. I wrote to them 2 weeks ago, they said they fixed it, but use their website...which does not accept the login. Fix this and I’ll bump i5 back to 5 stars.
