Refunds issues
I recommended Kuda about a year ago that it’s a smooth platform, and it liable to use the interface is great and all. But all those are now to be put in questions cause I made a transaction last month which I cancelled and the platform in which I bought from sent a proof of payment refunds to me in which I already sent to Kuda via mail and in app chat all to no avail I was just getting we will see to it and give you feedback in a few days, few days is now turning into months now!!! This is becoming so frustrating cos I need to use my funds Kuda and team pls refund me, I know the money is there why is it not reflecting on my account?

Reporting a bug
First, I have to acknowledge the fact that you guys are doing a great job with your banking services and also the user experience of your mobile app. Somehow, I wish you didn’t need government regulations. But it’s fine. I want to report a bug I just noticed after updating my mobile app. I use an iPhone8, and I noticed that after requesting for a physical debit card, and got to the Thank You Page, I clicked the ‘Thank You’ button, which was supposed to exit me from the flow, but I only noticed the ‘Done’ button animate, and the app remained there. I think you should look into this. Thank you.

Doesn’t work after update
I updated my kuda app few minutes again and since then the kuda app is not opening anymore, if I click on the app it doesn’t open anymore, I tried using ussd but it’s not working either, been having this issues since I updated my bank app, I called kuda customer care but they don’t pick, I sent couple mails but they don’t respond, all they keep saying is send help@kuda but doesn’t work either. Pls what’s going on with your bank because this is more like a scam and right now I will need to list this on social media so people can start moving their money out of your bank because you people are scam now, I believed this bank before but not anymore, pls don’t use this bank it’s becoming a scam, it happened to two of my friends last week and now it happened to me this morning after update it doesn’t work anymore

Bank is becoming a scam
Kuda bank is fast becoming a scam ,I made payment with my card and the payment was declined and they refused to reverse the money back ,put a call across to the number on the app they refused to pick ,went to their social media page ,no response,I decided to go tru comments on their page ,from the comment it seems this bank has been scamming people for long ,and I don’t want others to be victim of this ,A lot of complains on their page on instagram ,no single response from Kuda to address their complaints to even boost customers confidence,please run from them

This bank is scam
I made a transfer to my Kuda account and waited for the money to be on my account but they told me to update the app so I did and was waiting for the money and still don’t receive the money. So I sent other money to see if it’s network issue, the money went in and the first transaction no where to be found. I wrote to all their platforms no response and their lines doesn’t help, Kuda customer care doesn’t help anyone. They only knows how to speak their rubbish English. No help from anywhere that’s how they collected my money. This is very bad. I’ll advice you not to use this bank, it’s not safe most especially when you have issues and wants to contact costumer care, there is no customer care support. Very poor and frustrating bank.

Massive ISSUES
I try to make an urgent transfer to my Firstbank account and it said I should make an upgrade first by inputting my BVN details, I repeatedly did that over and over but it kept on saying, “BVN or date of birth incorrect”, due to the fact that I urgently needed and still need the money, I inputted my friends BVN just to get my money out of your bank quickly, after doing that, it said something about the name on the BVN account does not match my Kuda bank account name, so I inputted my main BVN Number again, and it said, “It’s been reviewed” or something like that, that it’s going to take weeks and I need that money now. My friend’s Kuda account didn’t take this long, it reflected, now that I try saving money with you, this is happening for no reason at all, please just tell me how to get my money out of your bank, and never again come to this app, I can’t be dealing with this issues.

Best app
I really like this app and would recommend it to people to use. It’s really good, easy identity confirmation, first money transfer. I’ve never had any problem with any transaction ever since I started using this app and I would have given it a five start but the only issue I’m having with this app is the maintenance issues, maintenance shouldn’t be done during the day in order not to disturb people using it for business. It should be don’t in the midnight when people using it won’t be much... I will be happy if kuda team can look into this for me and I will be happy if that’s corrected cause while upgrading this app, it’s stops people from using it and might be disturbing any urgent transaction..

Address verification taking too long..
Why after uploading everything you requested for the address verification and it says to me in 1 week or less than 1 week the process will complete, and now is about 3 week now I’m back to trial 2 I haven’t expected kuda to be this slow in verifying address please look into this if my address verification details are not correct please cancel it and I will re-do it instead of leaving it pending for a very long time please I need my trial 3 back because I have a lot of big transactions to do. Frustrating
I’m still waiting. I don’t know why you guys will bring my account back to tier 2 and won’t let me make any single transfer while I have already verified my account to tier 3 since, then yesterday you brought my account back to tier 2 but won’t let me make any single transfer it doesn’t make any sense and this is getting out hand I have people to pay I have people I need to send their money to I hate this seriously I hate it and I have already still provided my details today and I’m still waiting for you guys to verified it so that I will send people their money if it’s monipiont now I won’t be having this issues I’m having. Please review this ASAP
I tried changing the phone number on my Kuda Account because I no longer have access to the former sim but the process is annoying. They sent me a link through my email to upload my ID photo but the link won’t capture my selfie video for verification, it says it’s not supported on my phone version. I tried using my laptop and it didn’t work out too. Please make the process a bit easier, I understand that this is security purpose but you can make everything easy by taking selfies in the app. I got a new phone but I can’t transfer my bank app because I don’t have my old sim again ( it has been deactivated) I need to change my phone number so I can be able to receives SMS OTPs for verifications

My experience
This bank is good but what if you have a problem who do you run to when there’s a problem, is it the only one branch located at yaba, or is it the Customers care which doesn’t ever reply, everything on the customer care chat is not live, everything is programmed so you can’t have a direct communication which won’t let you explain well. I am here in imo state I did transfer to my junior bros bank he didn’t get the money but they debited me, and they didn’t bounce the money back either. it’s been a month I’ve tried everything I can’t still everything is in vain. I need my money back, it’ll be nice if you guys see my comments and attend to me, 50k really means a lot to me, am really in pain. I won’t want to conclude this as what I think it is

Customer service problems
This app does not deserve 5star because.. if you have any issue with your account you won’t get response on time, once you sent an email just sit down and pray they’ll get back to you pretty soon, and they will never issue your debit card on time you’ll have to wait for months before you can get it... but the main problem is the customer service issue... I hope you can fix that and hire people who are ready to work

This is not a safe app because their help center is zero they won’t reply to your message, mail, and their customer service number is always inactive your money is not safe using this app because they are online banking and could perform full only service what type of app this I could not access my money since last year November and no one is getting responding to my 100 mails sent like no one is even reading and there is no physical office so stay guided

Non Reflection of funds and lack of communication
Don’t get me wrong, Kuda Mfb has been a very wonderful and faithful bank but recently I received a transfer from someone and it didn’t reflect on my dashboard balance I can clearly see the transaction receipt but it isn’t reflecting on my balance I tried so many times to get hold of the customers care but all to no avail My messages wasn’t replied neither are my calls taken Please do well to fix this problem as soon as possible

Good app to use. ..but I don't know what happened since Saturday they transfer money to my kuda and I haven't received it since Saturday till now and the other account have been debited .....and they didn't reverse it back and u don't see it ...making me feel sad ....and also i called customer care they're just playing sound ... it's sound I want to listen to ... please fix that .. . ....I know the money is in my account but it not reflect in my account please reverse it back ....I need money to do something.....

It’s more like a total rubbish ever since Kuda stopped displaying phone numbers data plan is purchased for. Like this issue is not making sense at all because sometimes when you try buying data for someone or not even sure of the number you purchased for; probably a mistake or something KUDA keeps number off the screen. This is bad, worst and will get worsen if it’s not adequately corrected. Phone numbers should be displayed on the transaction history when data is paid for same way it is displayed when airtime is paid for!. Fix this and I’ll come back here to give a 5-Star

Stealing
Well I was sent 50k from Opay since 25th of march and I haven’t received it until now so I contacted your customer service via App and made a complain and they requested for the transaction receipt which I sent to them. After I sent the receipt it took days to reply to me when they reply on Tuesday they told me I’ve received the money that I should request a statement of account which I did behold the statement shows that I’ve received the money but they money is no where to be found in my history I tried to explain to them that I don’t have the money in my history so they can help me trace it again and until now no more response They act like they want to steal my money

Not safe Banking with you
This is the type of bank that also supports the poor to be poor forever and the Rich to continue to be rich. They don’t ever want to see their customers making it by saving above 100k. I have met someone with 20million in his gtb acc of my acc and his account wasn’t locked like the way you guys do, imagine 500k entered account and immediately it was locked. Use physical bank, kuda is trash. You can only understand better when you are invited to come to their office. And immediately the security agency is called on your behalf 😡 The only useless bank I have ever used.. if you like locked my account all the best for you guys. You haven’t seen anything yet

Worse customer care services. Even if scammed they can never help you.
All my life, I’ve never wrote review on any app but I have to come back here to drop this one. Kuda is the worse bank with the worse customer service. I’ve sent an email over 5 times because my account was blocked for no reason. I’ve chatted them from the app no response. Till this point no help has been offered. After the last time they sent me an email saying the resolved the issue but all the same. Rubbish app I hate KUDA it was my best but they Will frustrate the living spirit out of you. Beware the worse bank ever is that which has the poor service for its customers and Kuda is one. Beware!!!

This new app is not working well
Bring back the old app. I can’t be having problems with this new app as Kuda is the only bank I operate with for now. It’s not as if you have your branches everywhere one can easily walk in to make a complaint. This new Kuda app is malfunctioning. Please work on it or go back to the old app.! Better
Kuda is still a better way of banking and savings. With their cards, and free transfers. I have never had any issues with them until recently when I had issues with my savings on Friday. And they could only resolve it on Monday. I guess due to traffic and lots of congestions. Aside that I haven’t had any issues with them. I don’t trust any service in this Nigeria but I still give it to them. After Alat by wema comes Kuda

Complaint of debit without reversal
I did a transaction on Kuda bank last 2weeks and I bought a Apple gift card of $25 and they debited me and did reverse it back till now and am calling their number is saying not available and I message them online no one was replying me, and I think this is not a verified and recognize banking system because I think this is now like a theft please I will need a reliable reply on this unless I will tarnish this because is on fair for the past 2weeks nothing nothing and am still using the app and is going through please and please I will need an urgent reply on this because my next step won’t be this again . Overdraft
I recommend this app. But little issue being there is they give overdraft to who they like that who is trading with them. Imagine giving my sister over draft me that have 100 million transactions multiple than her own doesn’t have overdraft. No matter how much I complain they say keep waiting. Pockets needs improvement
Overall kuda bank experience has been great for me. I guess you guys read reviews to know areas to improve on so I will give it straight. I tend to use pockets a lot to move money I don’t want to touch at the moment, but sometimes I need the money urgently and I press withdraw. Sometimes it gets added to my main account. Sometimes it takes hours, yesterday was the height of it. Till today its yet to move to my main account. This issue keeps users stranded. Please work on it.

Customer support is terrible and trash like
Your customer care service is very terrible considered you’re among the top bank apps in the country, you can’t answer a customer, your call line doesn’t work, it takes 2 days before someone reply you on the chat platform in your app, it’s very bad, just a little issue I have it’s taking me 2 years, 2 freaking years and I still haven’t resolved it, you have now disabled the “chat with us” option in the app and I can’t chat anymore, to call you guys is as if I am calling a missing persons line, very terrible customer care service, YOU GUYS SHOULD STEP UP PLEASE, YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE MANY CHSTOMERS DUE TO THIS

Weak Security Authentication
I lost my phone 2 months ago and since I’ve been trying to re-login my kuda account on my new phone with my details, but it’s been sending codes to my number but I don’t have the number anymore, so it finally gave me an option to receive codes from my gmail address so I’ve recovered my account but now i can’t make any transactions because it’s still asking me for codes from my lost number why can I also get the gmail option, and I’ve been trying to get in touched with there help center since last 1 month and no positive response from support team

Takes forever to verify a new user!!!
I set up my new Kuda account few days ago and they didn’t even require personal infos,just my name and a selfie and it’s been taking the app 3 days to verify my account now,after three days my account isn’t yet ready for use and when I browsed about how long it takes I got the reply of within weeks,I’ve never seen bank that takes more than 24 hours to get a new account working not even large banking companies,now that I check the reviews on here I doubt I’ll actually use the bank when it’s finally ready for use!

Home address issues

Unnecessary Account Restriction
I have been using the Kuda app for a while and everything has been going smoothly until I was asked to upgrade. After upgrading I was asked to sign which I did successfully only for me to find out that my account has been restricted. To remove the restriction, I was asked to type my transaction pin which I did( same pin I have been using for all my transaction) but it said my pin was wrong. How is that possible? Something has to be done about this because this the second time I am experiencing this after upgrading my account.

Functionality and service.
I love this company and app. I downloaded it today and I have been using it perfectly. I prefer this to our local banks for real.. it will be ok if one can use the ATM card to purchase goods online and also can be used on cryptocurrencies networks just like other local banks. This bank is known to be corny with their ways, extorting customers funds for no valid reason, block peoples account for no reason, beat you their customers who comes to their office for complains on why their account was locked, I’ll advice you check out other recent reviews on the bank and remove this app from App Store and never allow them to come on here for possible download to users in order not to endanger lives of the people who are trying to bank safe and enjoy the services they claim they offer. My locked kuda account
My account is still locked with funds after I uploaded my national ID card and ID number to verify that I own the account with my BVN too I wasn’t let to contact the help centre are they trying to steal my money or what right now I’m not convinient with the situation because I can’t have access to my money in the account and it is very painful they should try and reply customers on all of their platforms pages the mails Facebook and Instagram pages I tried to contact all of these pages for help but seems they’re ignoring that makes me furious

Bad customer service
I made a transaction since on may 10th and I was debited but the receiver didn't receive the money I have been trying to contact kuda customer care but it isn't going through if I am calling the customer care phone number they don't pick up i sent them a mail and got know response I sent a message with chat with us but they are not linking me with a customer service i can talk to till now they haven't reverse the money kuda need to get a customer service they need to do something about this or i will stop using kuda bank

App Functionality
App is great, simple and easy to use. However I noticed that when you click or enter new windows on the app, there is no “go back” icon or arrow that allows you to go back if you want to reverse course. You basically have to quit the app altogether to go back to the previous menu or window.
