I’ve played the game multiple times and was glad to see it brought back as I routinely play the full series. The issue is the valve in the final location does not appear to exist on the iPad version. It’s there but you can’t interact with it. That should be fixed for completionists.

Amazing!

If you loved Sierra adventure games from the 80’s and 90’s (especially Leisure Suit Larry), you’ll love this; it’s basically a more advanced Sierra point & click game made for your phone (it’s a re-make of Leisure Suit Larry 1: Land of the Lounge Lizards). If you didn’t love adventure games, it’s a toss-up how you’ll feel about it; the game is hilarious but the puzzles are tough (you can always google a walkthrough though). But you never know, if you love this game, get the rest of Leisure Suit Larry games on Steam; that’s what I did!

Awesome Remake

This is a great remake of the original game! I love thr updated graphics and thecsoot-on voice acting. Many of the puzzles have been redesigned so even veteran plsyers (like me) will have to think, and there are new puzzles to solve snd an additional woman to meet. After multiple laythtoughs I still haven’t completed the game with the maximum possible score. Creator Al Lowe understandably refuses to work eith Replay Games again so we’re unlikely to see a sequel, unless another company is willing to pick it up.

Unplayable - Replay Games is a sham, CEO is an accused sex offender

Ever since the update of iOS, the games such as the slots do not work and sound is intermittent. No updates so far, so until I see a fix, this gets a 1 as an unplayable game. Replay games is a fraud company. The ceased supporting their games and their customer service is a joke. Also read the articles on their CEO, he has done some disgusting things. Note that LSL designer Al Lowe ceased to have any relation with this company because of their CEO’s perversions. You know what? I will say it, he ripped off his kickstarter contributors and sent naked pictures to a minor. Stay away!

Best Leisure Suit Larry game ever made!!

I’ve played every single Leisure Suit Larry game since the 1980s, and this is definitely the best remake of any game I’ve ever played. Not only was it designed by Al himself, but they also added a bunch of new stuff like graphics interface, new girls, and a complete musical score by Austin Wintory that really made this game probably my favorite mobile game ever. I hope you like it too!

Generally Good

The only thing I would add is a zoom feature. When playing it on a phone it is sometimes hard to see objects that Larry is supposed to retrieve. Other than that it was great! When are you going to rework the other episodes?

No Sound!

I purchased the game for my iPad and I am unable to get any sound at all. I tried finding a game support but was unable to find any information or contact the game company to help troubleshoot. I think it's great and enjoy it so far, I played a demo version that had sound on my phone, so I went ahead and purchased it for my iPad, but no sound :( It would be great if there was a way to contact tech support, if possible.

What a blast from the past! This game was perfect! If you are a far of the old Sierra games like I am this is well worth whatever they charge! Please do this with Kings Quest, Space Quest, Police quest and whatever other quest you can think of! Bring back Sierra games!

This game starts you with a tiny sliver of $$ and the only way to earn more is to gamble. Using a taxi is the only way to traverse between locations since walking can’t be done (beat and killed in alleys). So you quickly lose your money purchasing items and then get stuck in a location with no way out except to try and gamble the free $10 for Mr Contiki and try and parley it. Tried to write support, no way to contact them. I want a REFUND, this is no fun and a total waste of $4.99. AVOID

No sound at first

To turn on the sound I found out the ringer needs to be turned on. On a phone it’s the switch on the side of the phone, on iPad go into settings, sounds, enable change ringer with buttons.

Solid reboot of the classic

They did a bang up job on bringing the original LSL to iPhone. The game holds onto the original charm and has a few added humorous quips. The graphics and music are stellar too. It's worth the price for a trip down memory lane!

Trust me, don’t buy this!

Due to iOS having updates, they don’t update the game anymore, so the sound doesn’t work anymore! There is no nostalgia to be had because of this! You can’t request a refund either! All you do is lose your money and there is nothing you can do about it! I loved LSL! Now I really don’t! This is sad!!

Not Easy

I played the original of this game, and liked it a lot. When I’ve got the iPhone version I was saddened to see that it really didn’t work very well. Hopefully this latest update will really make it workable for the iPhone operating system.

Casino machines not working

Game seems fun. However you can’t even gamble since none of the buttons are working. You run out of money taking the cab around but have no way to gain any. Please fix or refund my money.

A great LSL game for my tablet

It was typical LSL. You really need to explore everything to finish the game. It took a couple of deaths but it was a fun game. It was well worth the $5!!!

The part I can play is good!

Unfortunately, it hangs on a black screen when I get into the taxi and I can't move on from there. I am a big fan of the original game and would love to see the rest of the app. (iphone 6S here, btw)

Game doesn’t work

The game requires gambling to play through the game. The gambling function does not work. No update for the game on 2 years, so I doubt it ever gets fixed. I want my $2 back (name the movie)

No sound

I Purchased a game and try to play it. No sound whatsoever! Every other game works correctly so it’s not the phone it’s the software. Does anybody know how to fix it.

Replay Games has done a fantastic job in conjunction with Al Lowe and Josh Mandel to make the perfect remake of Larry a game that first started in 1987 by Sierra Games and went strongly til' 1997 after 2 games were made that didn't have the real Larry and weren't even adventure games the series fell into disarray but not only do we now have the one true Larry we also have a brilliant Vegas style score by Grammy Nominated artist Austin Wintory (of Journey for PS3 fame) featuring Al Lowe on sax. this game is a true work of art featuring its HD graphics and old school adventure game style if you miss this game you'll regret it for the rest of your life this is a must have for Adventure Game enthusiasts

The Leisure Suit is back!

I grew up with the LSL series and Sierra games, so Larry holds a special place in my heart. I also backed this "Reloaded" version during the Kickstarter campaign because it involved Al Lowe and company who were the original creators, and have played the PC version all of the way through. This game works perfectly on the iPad and they have done a great job porting it over to the touch screen controls. If you have spent any previous time with Larry in any of the earlier Sierra games...you will love this updated version of LSL 1. This is hopefully just the beginning of future games to come!

Great classic worth the money

I have to say this is a great game with an added twist. I have the game on DOS and play it from time to time and when I heard that they were adding extra stuff to the game I was a bit skeptical about buying it but I decided to try it and even with the additional content the game is still as good as the original one. I would recommend everyone who have and have not played the original game to give this game a try from its updated graphics to the old and new humor its worth it.

Love it!

So glad this came to the App Store. I just finished my first play through over my entire 8+ hour flight and I'm already looking forward to playing again. One small issue I've noticed while playing on my iPhone 4 is that dialog is sometimes choppy and is difficult to understand. This only happens occasionally and certainly isn't game breaking. It's just annoying at times. Support this game and the great devs. Maybe we can see Larry 8 in the future!

Sound Issues

I want to give this game a 5 star just because I love the LSL series and have played them all! It's great to see a remake since the games no longer work on PC without emulation or other methods which don't always work. However, thanks to the sound issues (music/voice not working, IP6S+) it's only getting a 2 star from me. The core of the game is here, but without sound it looses a lot of quality. Shame too, was really looking forward to the opening music. Doubt it'll ever be fixed as Replay Games seems to have gone under thanks to personal issues with the CEO... The forums are even closed down so you can't get technical support.
