Very informative and helpful in determining my credit score there is a dispute in process with my Apple Credit card as I pay my Goldman Saks credit care in full daily when allowed and no pending charges or balances hopefully TransUnion will not reduce my credit score to 763 when other reporting agency is 783 I work hard to improve my credit score to maintain my accounts I use credit cards for a charge and payment history rather than cash or checks

I want to love this app

Like other reviewers, I cannot seem to get a clean login experience. The app crashed during sign up, and nearly every time I’ve logged in subsequently. It’s also very sluggish to load content to the first screen, and I cannot close the additional sections for car loans and mortgages on the first screen, even though there is an “X” to close them. There’s also a visual glitch on my iPhone XS MAX, where the green page(?) indicator overlaps the page icons at the bottom of the screen. With so many issues just trying to get started it’s hard to have continued confidence in the app and its security. It sounds like you had anticipated a fix in the latest version for login issues, but it seems that they are persistent. I would love to use the app, but in its current state, I may have to find an alternative until the issues are fixed.

Got Approved

I’ve attempted several times to obtain a Capital One Secure Credit Card but was denied due to my poor credit score. On a boring day I decided to see what tools LendingTree had, then I noticed that my approval rate for the Capital One Secure Credit Card was great so I gave it a shot & got approved! Wow! After getting denied through credit karma & NerdWallet but got approved through LendingTree, I’d give this app 5 stars.

A few Technical problems

It seems almost every time I login it tells me for my own security I must re-enter a pin after logging in the old-fashioned way with email and password. Completely unnecessary and time-consuming considering I've signed up for face ID. Also, when trying to search for a loan, the slide bar to choose the amount is so incredibly sensitive it is impossible to get it to stop on the amount you want. And if you somehow miraculously get it to stop on the correct amount, as soon as you lift your finger off it jumps up or down five or $10,000. It is virtually impossible to slide it to the correct amount you want to borrow.

Accuracy at its best

I like the point I can monitor my credit report free. See my accounts and how much balance I have left . Also see what impacts my credit score. It’s a must have app if you are trying to improve and monitor your credit and debt ratio limits . It’s also a good app if you’re considering applying for a new loan or refinance your loans . Excellent work !!!!

It will harm your credit if you are a home owner

It will constantly tell you you qualify for refinancing, or that you are sitting on cash for your home. Then you never qualify because there isn’t enough equity in your house. Then the send you another notice a couple months later saying that qualification had changed but still get denied. So they continuously run your credit, in turn putting negative impacts on your credit, just to tell you no again, lending tree will ruin your credit before it will help you. Use credit karma it won’t set you up for failure, or create false hope.

Good not great.

I’ve been trying to validate my new account that I opened. But when I hit save it tells me I need to in put the make model and style. Except there is no options for these things because the loan for just for a major purchase not a vehicle. Tried ending the app and to no avail. There are other bugs that still need worked out. I had to reenter my info at the beginning about 5 times since the new update. I like all my info in one app but the bugs are annoying.

Tedious glitches

Just downloaded the app for the second time, now I remember why I deleted the app. I have an account already, however when I enter my login information, it asks me to identify myself, I follow the steps to identify myself and it takes me right back to the login screen because it registers that I already have an account. So I play along and re-enter my existing account information to try and login again, and it asks me to identify myself a second time. Stupid glitch. Can’t use the app at all. Forced to use the website. Wish this issue could be fixed soon.

Excellence Resource

Since beginning to use Lending tree I mush more informed about any and everything related to my credit score. I feel empowered to make informed, wise decisions, financial decisions. Lending tree has proven to be an excellent resource within a short time frame. I would recommend it to anyone!

Can’t even log in

I wanted to check this app out. It looked like it might serve me well. But I couldn’t even log in after creating an account. It told me I needed to verify my email. I clicked the link to send a verification. Get the verification email, it says click the link in the email to verify my email. I click it, it says page doesn’t exist and takes me to the log-on page. I log-in and it says I need to verify my email. Went through this circle 4 times until I gave up and deleted.

BUILD INFORMATIONS FOR REAL

Never had i moved by any creditors after settling my Credit cards to a company that helps me to save , due to Covid 19, having four kids out of employment living outside USA savings with my bank had Jeopardized and i was compelled to prioritize their needs With LENDING TREE i now can figure out how to be better thiis time

Trash

My first experience went well, I refinanced my truck and saved a bunch of cash. I figured I’d give them a try with refinancing my student loans. Unfortunately, they allow lenders to not list all the requirements, which resulted in a hard pull on my credit and a loan I was denied for. I was denied because I didn’t finish my degree, not due to my creditworthiness. My score beats their listed requirements by 20 points and my income to debt ratio is well within their listed boundaries. To warn others I left the lender a review listing my experience, this review was censored by lending tree to protect a garbage lender.

Bad mortgage lender

Hello. First off I only downloaded this app to help compare mortgage companies. They may offer other great services but sadly they dropped the ball on this one. My biggest problem is that as soon as I signed up for the mortgage portion and clicked not to be Calle st this time, my phone has been bombarded by mortgage companies (mainly quicken loans calling multiple times a day). This is as bad as the telemarketing companies. There was one company who left one message and hasn’t called back but that was it. Sorry for the long review, I just wanted to give my honest 2 cents.

Love it

Within 10 minutes I found out my credit was 100 points higher than I expected , got approved for a credit card (for the first time) and found I could save $190 on my car payments. I am thoroughly satisfied. Not to mention the monthly free credit reports are very useful.

Spam calls

I find it rather annoying that they force you to post your personal contact information just to see what rates are. Shouldnt have to be bombarded with phone calls non stop for taking an interest in my future. I strongly suggest to the developers that you add in a toggle option so that people can decide for themselves if they would like to be contacted. Googled the number that keeps dialong me and it turns out theres 100s of other people experiencing the same frustration. Please fix it lending tree, nobody appreciates the spam calls.

I love how they teach you

I love how they teach me how to make my credit better . Now I don’t make the same mistakes again help they help figure it out and show you how to do it so you can build your credit and have a wonderful Credit score after they help me this is a great company to come to

Sold my contact info almost immediately

I downloaded this app and signed up for their service about two days ago using a burner phone number. In less than 24hrs I was hit with a bevy of automated spam phone calls. I have received 4-5 a day, sometimes within minutes of each other. While I understand that this is a common business model, most companies aren’t so egregious with monetizing your info immediately after signing up. At least let me get some value out of your service before you monetize me!!

UNDERRATED APP!!!!!

I set up an Account simply for monitoring my credit. I looked at the parameters as far as what’s considered “Poor” and what’s considered “Excellent” and having that kind of info directly in my face gave me actual goals to shoot for. Credit score is sitting above 790 as a result!!! I couldn’t be happier!!!!

Not Happy

I have been obsessive about improving my credit. The average increase has been 100 points with each agency. The LendingTree app is still showing credit card debt of approximately $1,500 that was paid off more than a month ago. It is also showing that I only have 5 cards. I opened another card before the $1,500 was paid. I don’t need this app, especially since the response time is so slow. I will be deleting this app soon!

Great monitoring

Great to monitor your credit and accounts. when submitting for loans though it should notify you that you will have multiple hard inquiry’s pulled that will negatively affect your credit score. takes two years for those inquiry’s to fall off your score goes back up after a month or two

Great app!

Love this app. Super easy for beginners monitoring their credit, easy to dispute unknown credit marks, even has a loan feature and credit card offers you can be approved for. Definitely recommend this even if you’re a newbie at all things credit and auditing like me 😂

Inaccurate Offers

The offers you receive on your dashboard with lower than the rates you’re paying now are not the loan offers you receive after they provide your information to a handful of lenders which inundate your email with high interest loans offers that have higher rates than you’re currently paying. I like the ability to monitor my finances but really tired of the “monthly savings found” that are inaccurate.

Everything about lending tree is great

Everything from the app that keeps it updated to the tools and monitoring are great one of the best I have found. They give access to great companies that do what others can’t or just won’t.

Update much?

Of all the credit monitoring apps I have this one has yet to do an accurate update of my credit score. It’s December and September’s numbers are still up. Linked 3 of my 5 accounts and the other 2 I can’t find in the search bar. I’m not totally frustrated because there are other more reliable apps but I’m having a ball trying to refresh the site to see my updated score with on time payments and $0 balance owed on credit cards. Get it together, LT.

Signup- goodbye privacy

It drives me mad that the sign up absolutely requires you to release your phone number. There are no warnings, just a disclaimer that says “we take your privacy seriously”. Guess what, a minute after signup I received six different calls from lenders. It’s not like if I want to sign up that I’m immediately ready to answer to phone calls from loan sharks!!! If there had been a warning that “releasing your number will lead to lenders contacting you” I would never have signed up. Beware!!

Free credit score and good loan offers

I like using this app to keep track of my credit score. And it also recommends me credit card offers and search for a mortgage loan offer since I’m planning to buy a home with my boyfriend.

Pandora’s Box

I was looking to refinance. Entered my info and suddenly I have what I assume to be commission sales people blowing up my phone, email and text lines. You can’t get a straight answer because they are all geared to getting a loan application started. You’re better served searching for companies offering loans like you need and reaching out. This is more aggravating than helpful. The benefits are for the lenders and not the borrowers.

Won’t update

I have to change my address every time I log in, sometimes I have to change it several times while being in the app. It is pulling in an address I’ve never been too, and then noticed another address it is pulling that I haven’t lived at for 15 plus years. I called to get help as I was concerned about the address I’ve never lived at, and all I got was oh it’s ok it’s just the app.

Worthless (iPhone 11 Pro Max)

App only works with a very small select few of financial institutions. It failed to add all my financial accounts. - Mr. Cooper signs in, but just sits and spins loading for over an hour until I close the app. - Chase Bank signs in and goes all the way through the process, but then opens up a “click to continue” button that does nothing. Then fails to add the account. - The “edit” button on multiple of my loans does nothing at all It’s been very frustrating to get it to work overall. I tried this app a few years ago also with PNC and had a very similar experience. Giving this all a 1 star until the fix half of their app functionality.

Worth the download

This app made my car purchasing experience one of the easiest if not the easiest I’ve ever had. The motto is as advertised, when banks compete you win. I did just that, thanks a million.

Logging in

I’m pretty sure the app will be amazing . I already have an account set up with the lending tree so I decided to get the app, but the app will not let me move past the first steps. Once I log in, It keeps saying that I already have an account, which I know, which is how I logged in. Then it just reverts me back to the login page. So I had to let it go, which made me sad a little.

Great app

This app was able to refer me to a lender and consolidate all my credit card debt into one low monthly payment. Also the credit simulator helps you figure out how your credit and plan purchases. Thanks guys

Highly accurate, very easy to see specific details down to the penny. Helpful and practical as far as assets vs. debts as well as any/all details for each credit inquiry from financial companies.

Terrible Company - Stay Away!

Do not sign up for Lending Tree. It is impossible to delete your account and their loan agents will harass you with emails and phone calls. I have been trying for a month to have my account deleted and they simply refuse. Google other peoples’ experiences - you will find multiple reddit and yelp threads on how it is impossible to delete your account. Do not download this app and do not register for LendingTree!

Not accurate

I decided to give this a try and see how close it is. The credit score through lending tree is about twenty points off. Will be deleting this app and I wouldn’t recommend it. I will stick with Experian who seems to be very close to my actual score or on the dot.

Disappointing

Could not even log in (had just logged into the website and tried logging in to app multiple times so was not because I was entering wrong credentials). Even tried to change my password after that and the change password feature on website didn’t work (again, tried multiple times). Very disappointed.

Keeps loading

App just keeps loading and never opens after entering password. Worked fine before iOS 11 update now just a useless icon on my phone since it doesn’t work.
