My dad joined in the early 70’s and was a Reynolds employee. When my husband was employed by Reynolds in 77 we to joined. We have lived in 4 different states but we have used Listerhill since 1977 even though it would have been easier to just change banks we lived Listerhill and never closed our accounts. At this time we’re still live in another state but Listerhill is our main bank. We have had several Relatives doing is well over the years. Thank you Listerhill for being there when we needed you. I have been a member of Listerhill for about 7 years when the x wife and I had a business account. After the divorce, I could have chosen traders& farmers or 1st national, but I chose Listerhill. I had a major problem once when I was paid several thousand dollars but the check was sent back to the issuer. I was mad as fire and spoke with a gentleman named Rob in Sheffield. He did an awesome job fixing the issue and never had another problem. The thing about Rob is I’m sure he’s a big dawg but he told me to call him anytime. Also, every time I call or to to a branch, the employees always go out of their way to help me.
Listerhill Credit Union has an amazing team of friendly professionals always available and willing to help their customers anyway they can. It’s always been a wonderful experience doing business with them and Stacy Tice was so very helpful and mind helping me open a new checking account before I had to go out of town for a new job. She took time to explain everything and have things set up to give me peace of mind for my account and accessing it out of state. That means so much!!
Since the last update, my app hasn’t worked good at all. The only time I can use it is when I’m hooked up to my home internet. I have internet on my phone and it will not work. I’ve deleted the app and shut the phone down and opened it up and reinstalled the app six times already and it’s still not working. I have the app on my iPhone 11 por max. I’ve called the bank and also went to the bank in person and still no help to get it back up. Also I don’t like the new update because I can’t find what I’m really looking for sometimes. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been a member for 40 years and have had the app for 7 years now.
Very easy to transfer money between checking & savings. I love the Touch ID so I don't always have to type in my password when logging in. With the recent update, Listerhill added a spending tab that tracks the amount of money you each money on certain categories like restaurants, medical, shopping, gas, etc. It also has options where you get a limit for each category and get notified when you're close to reaching your limit. I'm excited to try out this new feature!!
This app is extremely easy to use and navigate through. I love the ability to touch to sign on rather than typing my info to log in each time! All of my activity is easy and quick to access, and I enjoy that you can view pictures of both front and back of checks you’ve written. It’s an excellent app all the way around!! THE ONE THING I DONT LIKE IS YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE A NICKNAME IN ORDER TO SUBMIT YOUR REVIEW, and I’ve tried about 20 so far and it says they’ve all been taken.
I love the app. I won’t lie there are issues SOMETIMES & I do really wish I could set notifications when my money is being used in my account… for example I also bank with Regions and when I use my card I receive a text stating how much was used. It’ll be helpful due to the app sometime having minor issues… love member since 2015!
Personal account & business account always get tangled up on the app. I log in onto my business account and try to do a mobile dep. and It takes mr to my personal account. I log out complete from it ( after 4-5 times ) it finally works. Very frustrating!
This is a great app because my face can open it but the only downside of this app is that no more transactions past 12:00pm. Which is unfortunate it reminds me of my mother who cuts off the wifi and is a big control freak like I need a bed time or something. Honestly it ruins my role play experience but oh well.
Time-saving, high- tech (like me 😉) and just what I needed...
I cannot get to the bank during their normal days of the week and/or the times that they’re open, so this app with its deposit interface software is wonderful! I also like the easy login feature with the latest touch ID interface!
Every time I open the app it asks for my login and password. EVERY TIME! 🤬Forget using Face ID or the toggle to save Login Information, noooo that doesn’t work! And God forbid you only have your phone to reset the password. Because when you go thru the prompts, answer the questions and click send Temp passcode. Then go to mail app for the passcode only to go back to the app and the screen where the passcode is supposed to be entered is GONE! it’s a freaking rat race to use this app and I ready to change banks for that one reason!
I am very pleased with Listerhill Credit Union. I am able to check on my account at anytime that I desire. It’s simple and I can do my banking right from my phone, drive through or if I need to go inside to see a staff member or loan officer that is possible too!
I hate the new update super confusing and cluttered looking. No member to member transfers and app keeps crashing every time I try And view my checking or savings. The old one was just fine liked it so much better please bring it back!
I’ve been a Listerhill Credit Union member since 1961. The office was directly across 2nd Street in front of the Reynolds Alloys plant in a small white building. As I recall, it was almost exclusively for Reynolds employees. For sixty years the Credit Union has felt like family to me. Always positive experiences. Always.
I just spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to make a Listerhill loan payment from my Listerhill checking account. There is no make payment button with the prepopulated amount of the monthly payment. No, you transfer money and you have to go look up what your monthly payment amount should be so you can enter it in the blank. Very poor work on this app. The webpage is easier to use than this rubbish.
I love Listerhill! I have been a member since 2011. I do wish they would update their app to where I can see my credit card charges. It will only show my balance but not any charges Iv made. I always have to log onto the website and click on certain tabs to get any info about my purchases, rewards, etc. it should be made much more simple.
If you’re a member of Listerhill, then having this app is a must. It reduces the amount of trips needed to the bank and calls to the call center. The app is very easy to navigate and the layout is simple for making transferring and online bill pay supper easy! Great app!!
I have been doing business with Listerhill for years and I would highly recommend them for ALL of you financial needs! They are all so friendly and will treat you right! Hamilton and Winfield Alabama office’s are awesome to do business with!!!
The newest update finally included support for the iPhone X screen size, which was a welcome change, but it could still be improved. The buttons at the bottom are very close to the bottom of the screen and partially get in the way of the home bar.
This is the best bank that I could have chosen for my banking needs. Oh and yes the service there is the best. All the people are so knowledgeable about your banking needs and know how to handle the situations that come up in the banking industry. I will give them an A+ and thank them.
I would like to take a moment in hopes you guys recognize Ameila Vernon, hands down the best banker I’ve delt with always goes above an beyond for me and I’m sure other customers, she is a great asset to this company an hope she’s gets the recognition she deserves
Love it. Wish all banks were as “up to date” as the CU. Check deposit is the bomb, instant purchase updates with accurate balances. Worked great with Touch ID. Only thing missing is update for iPhone X Face ID; then they’ll get 5 stars.
I have not been able to access the app for about week now I have the updated version and have also tried deleting the app and reinstalling and still nothing I’ve already had to many issues in the past with this app and now I can’t get on it at all!!!
The app prompts me for FaceID but then makes me put in my password. It’s like I have to log in twice, because it won’t even let me enter my password until it reads my face. Other than that, pretty solid app
I am older and have used My iPad for banking purposes. Recently, I tried to log onto my iPad and was told by Listerhill that you could no longer use iPad app to preview my account. This makes it very hard for older folks who can’t see well.
