I have downloaded a lot of books by this developer that I have found extremely helpful which is why I gave this app a five star rating. However, I am a little disappointed in this app because even though it has a no ads symbol displayed beside the menu there is a google ad at the bottom of the page that blocks the content. I clicked on the ad and indicated to google that it blocked the content and they said they would remove the ad. They just changed it to a different ad and moved it to the middle of the page. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the ad is still there but it is back at the bottom. When I tried to contact the developer and report the issue, I found I would have to create an account and login before I could even report the issue. That is not going to happen, I have enough accounts and passwords to keep track of. So, just thought I would let other users know what to expect.
I found this book on the App Store of my apple phone And I can tell you that it has been a great addition to the Bible Because we know that a lot of the biblical books have been taken out of the one we read now because they don’t want the truth of GOD word to be know So when I found this book I saw it as an opportunity to find out more of the word of GOD and I love to let everyone know that this is a better Bible to have on your phone because you can researched so much more of why man have come short of been the righteous of GOD
I would give this 5 stars however there have been some issues with the app. I’m unable to change the version of the book that I’m in or even confirm the version of biblical teachings. It also allows me in settings toggle on audio and to even choose and audio voice and speed but it does not offer a play option while in the actual text. Other than that, I love having access to all of the lost books and I love being able to switch to commentary. The daily scriptures from the gospel, devotional, and psalms is also amazing! Overall great find, would be a dream if the issues I mentioned were addressed. P.s. nice touch with allowing me to choose my text font as well! I chose papyrus which gives a scroll feel and adds to my reading environment!
This would be a pretty good app, if there was a way to: 1. Contact the developer for discussion 2. Get rid of the bothersome ads on the bottom of the page. The ads cover up content making it difficult to read the Bible as well as click on things appropriately. There needs to be a way to purchase this app in order to get rid of the troublesome ad on the bottom of the page. This is what makes the app pretty much useless. 3. There has got to be an easier way to highlight material and create notes within the app. There should be more highlighting options as well. 4. There needs to be an easier way on the top of the page to switch between books of the Bible and chapters in the Bible.
This app is so enriching and insightful! I’ve experienced so many emotions reading these books. I’ve cried, gained understanding , took so many notes, and I can’t stop sharing these stories with my kids and followers on social media! My only issue is the ads, they get in the way of the content making it hard to read- i use my iPad. And are these not the full books, or are they just small excerpts? Either way I enjoyed the information given 😁
This is what I’ve been looking for spiritually I don’t feel like it’s carved with a giant puzzle for knife. Especially when you run into the area in the Bible, where you know there’s more to it than meets the EYE ! Ya know ? Like leaving anything stuck as in walking off a cliff & knowing that God’ll catch cha ? Plus , I start to realize ? The version I’ve been attached too ( ( King James ) has been manipulated!! I feel the version I’ve read is set up for future slavery and it’s prevalent, that , for the time and era ? Black people have been excluded When they are the first people God spoke too and had relationships with !! This Bible ( I almost said , ‘your book 📖) found the missing parts of my heart ! I want to thank my “Yahawah “ And his son , Yahawasa Amen 🙏🏾
The book is Always Good.. the more to read the better to know. Sourcing is important I guess my life is really the Testament of it all connected or not. Either way feel so connected to it like I wrote it myself hahah. Thanks for the backup on everything. Namaste praying and worshiping and even yelling at my Creator till I see Change in myself and the World.
I haven’t even read but two books (The First & Second Book of Adam and Eve), and I’m so excited that my G_D has filled in the blanks and made sure His people had the truth! What Adam and Eve went through is so human, and it’s humbling that our foreparents went through so much and I honor them. Thank you for creating this app, it’s easy to read.
I haven’t got into if fully but I have been reading some of the books. I like it so far because it fills in some of the gaps left in the original bible and it also opens doors to more information about what’s going on in the world
If the audio worked for the other books in the app, I would give the rating four stars. You can bring up a book to read like the book of Adam and Eve, but then when you go to settings to try to play audio of it, it switches to the Bible at the beginning of Genesis. There is no audio play button when you have a book up to read like there are in some other apps.
There are several good aspects to this app but the most important thing is the content itself. Several times I’ve encountered typographical errors, no punctuation, and the most egregious and annoying are the missing chapters. I have to go online to search for and read what should be on the blank pages before I can move on. If anything should be perfected on an app it should be the actual content. Please address these issues.
In a world where the Bible has many translations, this is is a great resource to have. Especially if you enjoy reading the books that were removed. I love this app and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their Bible reading further.
Great app, however; there needs to be better navigation. If I want to go to chapter 80 in one of the books, I literally have to slide right 80 times. There is no easy way to navigate to the middle of a certain book. Other than that, it’s good.
Enjoying reading this Book, I have read this book Twice a few years ago, it helped clear up a few questions. Now, The Father has opened my eyes to his Torah, I’m seeing things in the True Light of Messiah Yesuha Ha mashiach
This goes to show that God had told the humans that the earth is round and all the knowledge about the stars and sun and moon, but the people want to leave God out of all the universe and take praise upon themselves like they discovered all this
Lost books of the Bible is a great app great read the books of Adam and Eva are eye opening to or relationship with our Heavenly Father Almighty God. The secrets of Enoch are incredible and the best fines I’ve ever come across and it also has the regular holy Bible in it too fantastic app.
This is answered prayer! I want as many writings I can get my hands on! No one should dictate what I read or should not read! These writings give truth that obviously some people don’t want us to have! So this work is a heaven sent volume of the whole story! The so called 66 leaves holes and voids into certain parts of the puzzle! These writings are a must read for people who want to increase in the knowledge of YAH and his son! Chaplain Stacey Shannon
The Apocrypha was located in between the Old and New Testaments for 274 years before 1885 A.D. Was there some unholy alliance from The Catholic pedo phile sect to remove these books. Being a bibliophile, i love this missing data!
In settings there an audio setting but there’s no audio button. If there were an audio button, I’m sure this would increase ur following! Some us are older and it would be a tremendous help for those who can’t see as well!!!
I love the app and all it contains. I would really love the option of changing versions (to ESV or NIV or others). 16th century translations are just a bit difficult to wrap one’s mind around.
This app is very misleading, as it says “ Lost Books of The BIBLE”, but then doesn’t even have the entirety of it transferred, only an introduction is what I see, into each book. Which is great but definitely not inclusive enough to gain any real knowledge from.
Ads covers the play button, therefore can not be used as audiobible. Very disappointing. Please move play button away from bottom screen so add does not cover. Thank you
Can’t get rid of ads and the developer refuses to respond because he cares about money more than sharing THE WORD OF THE LORD GOD YHWH. I wouldn’t mind paying a few dollars ONCE to remove the ads.
The Lost Books of the Bible and The Forgotten Books of Eden The Lost Books of the Bible by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., 1926 This is a collection of New Testament Apocrypha, including many works which were admired and read by the early Christians, but which were later excluded from the canonical Bible. It includes accounts of the young Jesus, particularly the Gospel of Mary and the Protevangelion, which provides additional folklore about the birth and youthful adventures of Jesus and which are missing now. Of note are the letters of Paul and Seneca, and the letters of Herod and Pilate, which are most likely a forgery, but add more depth to the question of the historicity of Jesus. There are also a number of non-canonical epistles, such as Laodiceans. Also worth a close read are the three books of the Shepherd of Hermas, which uses apocalyptic and symbolic imagery. This collection is an invaluable selection of portions of the New Testament which illustrates the fluid nature of the early Biblical canon, and provides access to all of the 'spare parts.' The Forgotten Books of Eden by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., 1926 This is a popularized translation of the OT pseudepigrapha, quasi-Biblical writings which never achieved canonical status (or inclusion in any of the official Apocrypha). This isn't to say that these documents are forgeries, just that for one reason or another they were not considered part of the Biblical text by the first millenium (C.E.) compilers. This book contains translations of all of the texts found in volume I of the weighty Oxford University Press Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, without any of the apparatus. You can find here for free such popular books as: The Apostles' Creed, The Shepherd of Hermas, The First Book of Adam and Eve, The Gospel of Nicodemus and many others books which are missing of the Bible!
