A very nice lady took our bags and checked them back to us 5 hours later. We got off a cruise and wanted to try some authentic Cuban food before heading home. We got linked up with a local tour group for a food crawl. Bags were where they should be and they were undisturbed. Check in and check out was very smooth (took 1-2 minutes going in and about 1 minute going out). The area to the north and south of this location is the Little Havana area that you want to visit. Lots of cigar shops, souvenir stores, many murals/artwork and lots of restaurants in the area. Remain on 8th Street if you go for food or a tour, as everything else in the area is basically residential. Safe area is both sides of 8th Street running roughly 5-6 blocks north and roughly 8-10 blocks south. We saw police on horseback patrolling regularly. If you are traveling and have time available before you trip leaves, it was worth the time.
We were hesitant about using this service. However, the trip from the airport took much longer than expected, and we were about to lose our reservation into the Louvre. So we looked up reviews and went for it. Once we arrived and the person working, perhaps the store owner, greeted us, we already felt more comfy. His store was spotless and he had a luggage storage space downstairs. Remember this was never part of our plan so we had to leave all our stuff minus purses. My laptop was in my bag. My sister also had electronics in her bag. Nothing was amiss. He greeted us when we came back and all was good. Our stuff was there for about 2.5 hours so we paid the three hours. It was worth it. Thanks a million to the previous reviewers. We will absolutely use this service again.
As an American traveling in Europe with a bicycle, I stumbled across this solution. It was recommended by the airport Authority and I really had no idea what it was. I thought I would arrive to a luggage storage facility… But instead I arrive to a more private(convenience store) who would be handling my luggage. I kind of think about it like AirBnB for luggage where individuals/businesses can rent their space to store your luggage. It was the absolute perfect for me as I was traveling with my family and then going on a bike excursion. I was safely able to leave my bicycle for 10 days and pick it up later on the rest of my trip.
I can’t speak for the experience of others, but I personally had a wonderful experience with Luggage Hero. I was skeptical from reading other reviews, but gave it a chance as it was much less expensive than leaving our luggage at the train station in Paris. We found a location a few blocks away, dropped off our luggage and were on our way. We returned a few hours later and were able to easily retrieve our untampered luggage without a problem! A brilliant service!
Most AirBnB’s will not allow you to check in early, so if your flight gets in early, what do you do with your luggage? This app is AWESOME! It’s quick, easy & allows you to drop your luggage fairly close to wherever you’re staying. We were in Nashville, so a fairly big & busy city, & drop off & pick up of our luggage was only .3 of a mile from where we stayed. Rates are also pretty fair & you can leave the place holding them a tip if you’d like. All in all, highly recommend!
My girlfriend and I were in town from New Orleans. we were staying in the suburbs with family all weekend, our last day however we wanted to come to the city and kill some time before our flight. we walked to beehive from ogilvie train station with our backpacks and carry ons. The store and the shop owners were great, The store smells good and the people were very polite. I had no worries at all about leaving our bags there. Overall great experience. 10/10
Wanted to walk around without bags in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood about 4 hours before our rental check in was available. What a great option! Drop off and booking via app went flawlessly and saved the $100 early check in fee our rental would have charged for lunch instead. Will use again. 👍🏽
My experience with luggage storage is either the convenience of a coin locker in Japan, or nothing. Or at best you can leave bags behind the counter at a hotel if you’re staying there. For everyone else who uses Airbnb’s or lodging without concierge service, it’s more difficult to figure out. We used this app to find a place in London and it worked out well!
Just over .25 miles from the port. I didn’t notice any luggage hero signage, so we had to ask if we were in the right place. It’s not a slick kiosk, just a locked storage room adjacent to the market. Very friendly staff and the process was easy. I would use their service again.
Took a family trip to NYC and had a day with bags. We used this app and found a location near Penn Station with 24 hr service. We were able to drop 6 bags off to be stored at Doxie Hotel. It was very easy for drop off and pickup. Everything went perfect!! I would recommend it.
I booked a storage location, and the app indicated it would be open. The day of, I go and it’s closed. The app suddenly says the place is closed but will not let me cancel without charging the full fee even though I reported an incident. The bot told me to go to manage booking —> report an incident but no such option exists. So I had to rebook, ultimately paying twice. Not only that, but I clicked a storage place that the app said was a 2 minute walk, but once booked indicated it was much further away. Never again.
Business owner very pleasant. However the plan was to leave luggage and go to Arlington. App implies it is close to metro. It is NOT! I had to Uber from closest station $15 then Uber to Arlington and then take train and Uber again to get luggage. Again owner was great but info is misleading on the app. U have to book for them to show u address! Never again
Fast and easy to use service. Location was easily accessible and near Universal Studios where we were spending the day on our way out of town to LAX. Highly recommend. Friendly customer service, affordable pricing. Clean location.
I tried using three separate LuggageHero locations. The first was closed permanently, the second was closed for the day, and the third couldn’t figure out how to check our bags in on the app and encouraged us to just leave our bags untagged. The app on our end was clear that we had no insurance coverage until the bags were tagged and checked in. This abject failure led to my missing an event and losing out on the expensive tickets I had bought. I strongly encourage people to exercise caution here.
I was nervous at first if this was trustworthy. But I paid for $2 insurance and full sent. They were super nice and everything went well. Extremely easy to use the app. When I picked up my luggage the man gave girlfriend and me complimentary waters. I recommend doing this. Easy and convenient and cheap.
Tried using this. Couldn’t pull up my existing reservation. Couldn’t login to my account on a different phone to try and get it. Had to make a new account and new reservation. Never got a confirmation email and location wouldn’t accept my bags without it even with the timer running. Just took my bags with me to a cafe and had the pleasure of paying both a cancellation fee and a storage fee to never actually store my bags. Don’t recommend !
Tried the app for the first time after getting off a cruise in the morning and flying out late in the day. Took a taxi to the hero luggage location I reserved and when I arrived the employees at the shop thought I was nuts and had no idea why I was trying to drop off our bags. Kids and I lugged our bags for a mile and finally found a hotel. Tried to get in touch with luggage hero but it was very difficult and have yet to receive a response. Will definitely not use again.
I did not trust this process because it sound so scary to leave your belongings to some strange place, however we did & the process was so easy and smooth, just picked up our luggages & laptop bag and everything was smooth!
Beware ! Charged $10 after canceling 2 mins after booking
In theory this is a great service. Checking out of our air BnB needed a place in London to store luggage . Found one 2 blocks away yay!!! Pressed the book button and realized the store was not open yet and decided to hold on to luggage instead. Tried to cancel right away and was informed we would be charged $10!!!! Will be fighting this charge with the credit card company. There should be a grace period when booking same day.
The app did not allow me to investigate the location or their schedule before I made the reservation. As a result, I paid $20 euro to get to the drop off location, wasted 40 min round trip, and when I had to cancel the reservation because the store would not be open upon my return (and I had an early flight to catch the next day), I was CHARGED a cancelation fee of $10 euro for my troubles. A terrible experience through and through. It’s a ridiculous app.
I’m a long time user but today I had a issue with storing a bag. The app kept saying I was storing two bags when I was only storing one. I changed it to one on multiple prompts but it still had me storing two bags. I canceled one booking just to see if it was an error and I was charged $10. Then I stored my bag because I had two and it still charged me for two bags. This is a great and convenient app but this error needs to be addressed.
We arrived into Milan early and could not check into our Airbnb until 3. This was the perfect idea, easy and safe place for us to leave our luggage while we toured Milan for the day. And great service and affordable. Would use again!
Posted hours for drop off location were wrong causing us to drag our luggage around during a college tour in the rain. All of the contact support buttons in the app said “something has gone wrong” when trying to report the incident with the location. All of the emails sent from Luggage Hero are “no reply” so you can’t even contact them that way. At least in the U.S. - this app/service is useless.
We had never used Luggage Hero and we’re skeptical but it was a great experience. We had a 2 night trip from Paris to Strasbourg by train and didn’t want to take our big suitcase. Drop off and pickup was 1 minute and went great!
First time using this service. Booked it, walked in and was greeted by the 7-11 employee who asked if we were dropping luggage. She showed us to the back of the store to drop our bags and off we went. Easy pick up too. Friendly staff.
I never knew this even existed!! What a great concept, courteous staff and super convenient. Cheap too! We rented an Air BnB, check-in wasn’t till 3pm and we landed at like 10am…!? Now what!? Luckily I was told about this place and saved us lugging our stuff around. Thanks again!
This was so easy and convenient. Very responsive, very safe with your luggage, just an overall great experience. I would prefer this over leaving my luggage at a hotel front desk. Highly recommend.
Everything went exactly as it was supposed to. I will say that the staff at the store were a bit off-putting. If one is leaving one’s belongings with strangers not at a hotel, a little bit of friendly would go a long way in assuaging concerns.
Central Dry Cleaners did a wonderful job looking after my bags while on a scheduled food tour and because I couldn’t get an early check-in into my Airbnb. So much appreciated this service via LuggageHero and I highly recommend Central Dry Cleaners!!!
Used LuggageHero for the first time today and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The attendant at Jazz Souvenirs was knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. I will definitely use them again.
The staff at Jet-Setter were all very kind and made for a smooth dropoff experience. No worrying that our luggage would be stolen, they keep it in the back and verify the tag number upon pickup.
We needed to find a luggage storage area near our VRBO. This store was within a 2 minute walk from our apartment. The store employees were friendly and quick.

As soon as I checked in with the place to check my luggage for a few hours the manager told me they canceled with luggage hero. Now I’m having to lug my suitcase around in south Philadelphia because every hotel won’t let you check in after 4 pm. It’s inexcusable they didn’t notify me before hand. Now I’m probably going to get mugged no thanks to your app’s incompetence.

I absolutely loved this service. It was just what we needed to explore Chicago for a few hours during a long layover. However, within hours of using the app I began receiving spam phone calls like I have never seen before. I’ve received 19 calls in the last 4 days. Would REALLY appreciate Luggage Hero not selling my info.
We used this app on a New Year’s trip to Nashville. At first, I was excited because the booking was so convenient and affordable. However, 2 days into our trip I called the stores to confirm their New Year’s Day hours and at least 2 locations were closed when the app stated holiday hours were confirmed. The failure was a huge inconvenience in the middle of our trip. I love the concept, but this needs serious improvements.
This store has the prime time spot for this kind of thing. Fast and convenient so you can explore before u checkin or out to a hotel&or rental. It’s by grant park, the Field museum, Shedd Aquarium. Soldier field and lots of good places to eat.
This app lets you book places that are CLOSED. Make sure the place is open. After that blip I found another place and it worked well. My bag was basically left on the counter so not quite secure but it basically worked.
Not very secure. My luggage was left out in the open behind a rack of items. I figured with what they charge, my luggage would have been kept behind a closed and LOCKED door. My bag was slightly opened… I don’t think anything is missing, thankfully!
Picked a drop-off in NYC and went to pay. One piece of luggage was $2 or so, but service fee was about $5. Reserved anyway, and got assigned a place 100+ miles away. Immediately canceled, as was charge $10 cancelation fee. Perhaps a user error, but rediculous nonetheless. Tried to reach support or chat … couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Obviously, I don’t recommend this app.
The staff are friendly. It’s located inside the gym. I left my luggage for 5 hrs here. There are a lot of restaurants in the area. Only 10 mins walk to Newark penn station. No locker but they secured the luggage.
