I’ve been using this app for years and for the most part it’s been pretty okay but lately it hasn’t even let me buy any passes to ride. Been having to pull out cash for my rides since the app keeps asking me to verify my email though I’ve not received any verification emails, not even when I changed my email. I am very disappointed in how Lynx is as a company over all…. Transport is always late or non existent and scheduling is horrible; having to wait an hour for some buses and often drivers will see you and not even stop or are just plain rude; as well as schedules ending routs before 9pm when many of us that use this system and get off work after 10/11 pm. I am praying 🙏🏼 they step it up for the community because some of us don’t have Uber money or valid licenses so we rely on this system to get us to and from work and it just ends up sticking a broomstick up where the sun don’t shine.
This app use to be very convenient until the glitches started happening. It would freeze which caused me to miss the bus cause it would kick me out constantly. And when it do work when I go to transfer it freezes and says error which caused bud drivers to not let me on the bus making me late for work. NOW the app stopped working completely it constantly says error when I try to use my pass and I have a monthly pass on this app gone to waste cause it signs me out and now says error and security issue and won’t log me in at all!! It’s been a weeks and the app still won’t let me sign in and if I happen to sign in it kicks me right back out! So now I lost out on money and is now deleting this app
I’m giving this up a five because it’s useful for people like myself who don’t exactly have a Amscot close to us and don’t exactly have time to make it to an Amscot For the person who wrote a review about having to spend $32 on two separate week passes that’s exactly how much you would have to pay At an Amscot For two separate week passes 16+16 is 32 I have absolutely no problem with the app other than the occasional glitch but that’s common with the new upcoming apps but so far this app proves way more useful than going to an Amscott and buying a seven day pass that could potential he get lost or damaged I mean at the end of the day I don’t ever miss place my phone Good job lynx
I try to use the app from time time since it always crashes it say something like my card declined and it be money on my card another example I bought a ticket for his 8 to go to work since I work at sea world I never got able to use the ticket since it crashed I tried to get my money back but they said they couldn’t do anything about it I had random chargers come to my one day and still can’t get that money back
This has happened to me to much where as soon as I’m getting on the bus and show my ticket i randomly get logged out and forced to log back in. Sometimes the driver does not care and will tell you to get off. It’s weird because you can be logged in one minute and the next it’s asking you to login. I literally get on a bus in the morning and going to the next bus I’m logged out. It’s very inconvenient especially feeling like I have to rush to login and now I’m locked out for 30 minutes because I couldn’t type my password correctly. If you look at the patch notes they have not updated this app in a long time. It’s out dated and incessant.
I like how this app makes purchasing tickets so convenient! You don’t have to go sifting through your bag or pockets just to get money out for the bus. What I do not like about this app is that you can’t send tickets to people. If your friend needs a ticket, if you want to help someone out, if you are the person in need of a ticket, etc. There’s not an option on the app that gives the user that privilege. I believe having a “send to a friend” option would make this app more convenient and exceptional!
I can’t reset my password or login, had a pass that would’ve expired on Tuesday but the App doesn’t work so my money is wasted and ow I’m going to be fired from my job because I can’t use the app to ride the bus. They gotta fix this app and it’s crazy that there’s no information or talk about this issue on a wider scale. This is so ridiculous, right now, there’s people that can’t move about in their day because this app isn’t working and I’m one of them. This app should be banned from the App Store until the issue is fixed and everyone that lost money dealing with this app should be refunded.
This app can be convenient, but it also has too many glitches. I don’t ride the bus all the time and every time I open the app to purchase a ticket, I have to log in. Recently I had to resave my card info because it was gone. When it’s time to do a transfer, it will let you do it once and shows the bus number. So if you need to transfer again, you have to purchase another ticket.
The Lynx paw pass app is a really good technology to get a bus pass instead of buying it at the bus station in downtown Orlando but also it can be draining ur battery when u are showing the brightness on other people’s devices but some times a logs u out for no reason and will have to log back in to the app to stay open
This app is just attached to a really bad company trying to spend the bare minimal to take care of themselves not the customers and they take advantage of those without a car I’ve lost my job cause the bus tracker is wrong and locked out of my account with no access to password reset just empty links to my email and I’ll buy a ticket on here and it will freeze the app and drivers don’t let me on the bus thinking I didn’t pay for my ride over all this would be great if it worked but it doesn’t so it isn’t wish I can give 5 thumbs down.
This bus has not been on time or near time I’ve been waiting over an hour for a bus that was supposed to get here 15mins after I arrived to the bus stop. The app is not helpful aside from buying your ticket. They should keep a live schedule but common sense is not common. The bus route I wanted to take was 38 once it arrived the driver told me I had to wait for the next 38…. Well then why not create a new bus that keeps with the route you have programed…. AGAIN Common Sense is not that common
I’m an inter student without a car, trying to stay away from Uber because lets be honest, that’s expensive. I tried using public transportation and searched everything up, and came to download this app. I tried login in and buying a pass, and nothing, the app doesn’t acknowledge your account, so you can’t make a purchase of a tickets. Which leads you to an dead end. That’s it, plus the design of it looks outdated. Truly the app developer needs a few advices.
Honestly I’ve tried using this app on multiple occasions, because the buses don’t take tap. App doesn’t work keeps leading me to the website which is completely dysfunctional. I was able to log in once and after that it’s never allowed me to purchase a ticket on it again. I’d appreciate if it did work… not everyone carries 2 singular dollars or a 5 in change. Let’s make the bus more functional for others!! Completely un-please with this app.
Yeah no this whole app is 0 stars out if 5. It absolutely makes no sense as to why ppl who use this app everyday have to log back in again. There should be an option to keep you signed in like it is online. And then on top of that, none of the links that send to my email to reset my password come immediately after that🤦🏾♀️ I’m really just sick of the bus system taking advantage of ppl who rely on public transit to get where they need to go
Its fine when you’re still logged in but it kicks you out at the most inconvenient time and if you dont have an understanding driver you’re pretty much missing your bus. There have ben alot of times ive tried to log in but it keeps saying incorrect pw or email when i know its not. Prompting me to either wait 30 mins or having to reset my password again.
Until I thought it was just me and this phone.. I’m having same issues as the person down below have. I ended up purchasing tickets twice! Where is the real customer support for this app ? Please correct this ASAP
I love this app using it on the go it so convenient but every time i load it up i have to log in again. I can’t count how many time i’ve missed a buss because i’ve had to login again not knowing. Just please keep me logged in or at least keep my info saved on the login section
Y’all need to fix this app cause I purchase a pass n then Go back n the app logg me out n not only that it delete my pass I just spent my money on I’m really gettin tired of using this app I thought it would be better instead of buyin the pass on the bus but I guess this app got a lot of upgrading it need to do
The only issue I have with the app is that I would buy a ticket, but whenever I close the app and re open it to transfer my ticket it’ll say it expired when I just bought it a few minutes ago. Hopefully this issue gets fixed.
The fact that I’d have to spend $32 dollars for two different week passes is what gives this 1 star. One bus pass for a specific bus route? That’s robbery and I will never use this app ever again. The city of Orlando is trying to rip off people who are obviously trying to save money through this app. Just go to your nearest amscot for a bus pass this app isn’t worth it at all 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
It works great I use it everyday! Never had an issue with the app. To the person who claims you can’t get a transfer on this, yes you can I do it everyday! It’s not hard to figure out !
Today I can’t buy tickets, it keep asking for email verification, but I can’t verify my email, because they don't even have the option to send verification to my email address . I thought they fixed the app, now new problem comes up, hopefully it’ll be fixed soon
I have to use the bus and I’m glad you guys were able to update the speed of the app but I am over it randomly signing me out and them I’m looking half stupid and about to miss the bus because some bus drivers don’t care and will leave and I have a student bus pass
This is such a useless app. You can’t add your card info onto the app to purchase a pass (no matter how many times you try). When you buy a pass on the website, there is no way for you to use link the link as to the app, even if you sign in. The entire process is defective.
Requesting access to my camera to verify things that shouldn't need verifying. If I'm buying my ticket via mobile, what ticket is there to scan via camera? Similarly, my location shouldn't be imperative to the utility of this app. I had to delete because I refuse this privacy infringement. I'll keep using cash.
Bad app, bad bus and bad drivers lack of respect for those who use the buses, the app crashes a lot and the drivers don't care if the app doesn't work you have to pay the ticket you end up losing money and you live late the buses and the app real time of the buses is also very bad full of ghost buses, it says that it passed and it didn't.
I used the bus everyday and at first this app was wonderful and convenient, but now there has been issues loading, denying my request to use the ticket I have already purchased and good luck trying to get someone from costumer service, so carry cash always.
Can’t pull the pass up most of the time. Bus drivers won’t allow you to pull it up if it’s a app issue. So they make you get off the bus. So it puts you way behind to no fault of your own. This app really needs the bugs fixed. It puts a real burden on people if the only have enough to purchase weekly or monthly bus passes.
I use this application everyday. I purchase a monthly bus pass to utilize the Lynx Bus for transportation to and from work each day. Many times over this all will sign me out. When this occurs in order to ride the bus I have to sign back in which causes the driver to delay the bus movement. Please fix!!
I had to reinstall the app and lost the 30 day pass I had spent $50 on a week ago even though I only have one account. This absolutely needs to be fixed, including a reissuance of my 30 day pass.
I was using the app and pay for a ticket and it said the ticket wasn’t available and pay for it again then it said the ticket wasn’t available. I didn’t get my ticket but they took my money.
I don’t understand why after years of using this app that my email currently needs to be verified. I cannot buy tickets nor get transfers anymore and it is very inconvenient.
The app just links to the main website for most things. They took off the bus GPS locations and added GIS info that need addition apps etc. For the base user, this is too complex and frankly not useful.
I sometimes will have this app open to get to school and it will log me out at the worst times possible. This company really doesn’t care about itself or their services
This garbage loses my pwd all the time on the iPhone. Other apps don’t fail like this garbage. Today I was badly mistreated by a black driver after trying to reason with this rude fella that the app was acting up. Shame on this Lynx, horrible service.
The app will kick you off at the worst time. The app keeps coming up with internal server error which is preventing me from using my ticket. If you gonna market something as usable. Please make sure it works first
The trip planner feature doesn’t work, at all. Pretty simple feature that every other place I’ve lived had working properly. Please fix this. It shouldn’t be that hard.
This app was working fine until today when i tried buying a ticket and all of a sudden it just forgets my payment info i had no cash or my wallet so it made me look like an idiot trying to get a free ride
This app is good for one thing - buying a ticket. Try to do anything else and you can forget about it. “Planning a trip” doesn’t work at all. The mapping system is broken. Totally unacceptable hack of an app.
I purchased a 30 day . Start date June 10th and today it’s June 27th . Pulled out the phone to catch my bus the dam buss pass wasn’t there. So a word of warning! If you like getting robbed by all means use this app.
The app was working great until I was caught with no dollars in my pocket and no PawPass to pay the driver. I am grateful for the driver whom waited for me to go back in my house and scramble to find money.
