I’m a senior citizen and was dreading the change over, but my experience was smooth and easy. I find the new digital banking is so much more convenient for me!
I had this app and an account here for two years while I lived on the east coast. The app was garbage, but it did the bare min so I dealt with it. My mistake. I stayed with it until I moved. I then walked into the bank and closed my account, cancelled everything, informed the bank I would be moving a great distance so I would no longer use their card/company. I thought everything was fine until a few years later I looked at my credit report and it dipped about 200 points because of a “late payment” to Maine Savings that happened after my account was closed. I asked about paying it even though the charge should never have been present and they can’t even pull up the charge, they can’t see it, but yet they won’t wipe it and will keep the negative stain that shouldn’t exist until the full 7 years have passed for it to be erased from my credit history. I guess I have to wait another few years before I make any home purchase as this is the only blemish on my credit, but is enough to keep it still about 150 points below where it should be. After many emails/calls. I have gotten no response to any email and only “uhhhh ummmm i don’t knows?” On the calls. Definitely a mistake using them and if I’m ever back on the east coast I never will use them again.
Why is it every time somebody “improves “ an app it just gets more complicated and harder to use. Just spent 20 minutes trying to log into my account and now have to remember 15 characters instead of 8. ( was happy with 6.) so it has to be something easy to remember, which is easy to hack, or I have to write it down somewhere which is easier to find and use. Great idea. How about making it easier for those who don’t spend their whole life on some computer? I would give it one star because I can’t imagine anything more screwed up but I thought that the last time I had to update the app and I was proven wrong.
Love the new app!! The only thing I can’t seem to find is the ability to search transactions by the name of the business or vendor. Otherwise I would give it five stars
I was loving the improvements to their app but they took away the snapshot feature and the passcode log in feature..both features made it really easy to log in. I might as well go on the website now
I’ve been using this app for years and have loved it. Yesterday it wouldn’t let me login without updating the app. Since then the only way I can log into the app is if i completely restart my phone and transfers of money to different accounts aren’t going through. Not a good update at all..
I logged onto Maine Savings from my phone ALL the time. This app makes my life a little bit easier. The only thin I do not like about the app so far... When I am checking my balance I would like the app to show me my balance after each transaction. For example I thought I had $10 more in my checking and from the app I cannot figure out my mistake. But other than that I love it :)
I have always love using this app it is very user-friendly and a great tool if you’re on the go no complaints really until recently I got a credit card through Maine savings and it shows on the app but I can’t click on it to view purchases all it says is transaction history is not available for this account on mobile banking.......... evidently it’s not available on the website either kinda odd so for this I deducted a star
Please add the ability to see your balance between each transaction on the transaction list, it would make it so much nicer, and more useful. It's sweet to be able to check your account mobile.
Great app been using it for years this last update seems to be broken. Every time I go to log in it comes up with error message about configuring url with MFM middleware.
