Liked items and searching users by account name?

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE this app?!!!!!!! No joke, it’s legit the BEST APP TO SHOP ON!!!! I’m literally on this app every single day...haha I don’t get on Facebook at all anymore even, because of this app! But I really only have a couple small issues with this app. To start off with and I’m not sure if it’s a big issue or what it is but going through my likes items and when I click on one then go back to the liked items list is for whatever reason puts me either completely at the front of the list or right there close to it?! NOTHING IS MORE AGGRAVATING than to be so far into your list (it literally takes hours...) just to have to carefully scroll through trying not to click on any (which the reason why I’m scrolling so far back in the first place is to find the items to relike them back to the front of the list) Which brings me to question; there’s literally no other way to make the “likes items” other than this way it’s being done now? Like I don’t really know what other way to do it but the way it is now makes it extremely hard to go back through and look at the items I’ve saved.. The 2nd is searching things!! Why on earth can’t you search a user by either their email or by the name they’ve givin on their account? Other than those two things I have absolutely NOTHING remotely close to negative about this app! I LOVE IT!!!!!!

as a big collector of littlest pet shops, i downloaded this app in search of some cheap *authentic* rare lps. i made many purchases with them and they were all smooth. Until one time this woman posted a picture that she stole from an lps instagram page and claimed it was hers and that she was selling that specific authentic lps for a really cheap price. i bought the lps, she told me it was authentic, i recieved it and was very disappointed to find it was not authentic. (authentic of this lps costs $50-$100, a fake costs about $2 off ebay. i payed $20 for the lps i bought from her, so it was a very good deal.) anyways i messaged the lady very nicely and told her that the lps was fake. she *flipped* out on me saying i was a scammer and i was somehow attempting to scam and take my money back without sending her "precious lps". so i filed a scam report with Marketplace explaining my situation and, rather quickly, a return was scheduled. the lady still was accusing me of scamming and kept saying that she would expose me rada rada, but after she recieved the lps i recieved all my money back, and everything went well. thanks Marketplace for carrying out these scammers very smoothly and effectively. i continue to use this app and their scam protection is way better than ebays.

Recent update made me drop my rating...Pretty good app, a few lag issues.

New review: after the recent update deleted the “everything” button, I feel like I see the same items every time I look for something. In addition, there are an excessive amount of advertisements on every page now. I feel like Marketplace had something really great and they are getting away from it... might start looking for another app that does that Marketplace used to... connect people to sell items... not just promote ads and a few businesses. Used to say this: Great way to sell items without having to divulge any personal info i.e. Phone number or address. You can talk to buyers or sellers straight through the app. The only issue is that sometimes the app is slow to let you know someone has messaged, which can lead you to miss a sale. I also wish that there was a way to tell if you have already viewed an item and what the price is without clicking on it.

Hands Down the Best Selling App

Marketplace was the first selling app I ever used, at first it was just causal, to sell things I didn't use or wear anymore. I eventually decided to dabble in Depop and Poshmark. While Marketplace sells a much broader variety of things, and can make it hard to sell specific items, its payment process and overall selling process is so simple. It is all handled in app, no going through PayPal like Depop. The shipping labels are created in the app, and everything is spelled out right away for you. There is no confusion like other apps. The selling fee is pretty low, only 10%, and by not going through PayPal it eliminates the extra 2.9% + 30¢ that PayPal takes. It's all so simple and clean, I truly love it. My only pet peeve with this app is that once a listing is inactive or cancelled, you can no longer message your buyer. But other than that, great app!

Totally Addicted!

I love, love this app! I shop on it every single day. Skip the lines! Stay in your PJ’s, kick your feet back, relax and start window shopping immediately. If you can think it, you will probably find it here and at a better price. If you want something particular and you are having trouble finding it in a store or it is sold out, look here! Or if you have relatives with expensive tastes, but you lack the income to purchase direct from the retailer, then consider this a year round flash sale! Plus, they constantly have ways to save more or gain extra credit and if there’s an issue they will solve it, as long as you let them know! I hope you enjoy this app as much as I do, I would be lost without it.

So far so good!

I've been using Marketplace Tradet for about 2 months and have had really good experiences. I have made about 10 purchases & 10 sales. Marketplace Tradet also made the return process really easy when someone sent me something that was not as described. I really like the app. Patience is key when selling things. Update after using for 9 months: Very good experiences. Made quite a few sales. I don't like the coupons they send. $3 off $25. I don't spend that much on any of my orders so I never use those coupons. They had better coupons when I started using the app. Overall I have enjoyed the app & the opportunity I have to make a little spending cash here and there. Patience is key.

About the app!!

Since I started using this site, I been enjoying, everything is easy to search, easy to sell products, is very simple, To this day I Don have any problem in the app settings, One think that Don’t like much is the 10% off your sales, but not matter how long take to sell it will be the same, your items will be in place, other stuff like having problems with customers is not Marketplace Tradet problem, sometimes customers give a low rate if the product they buy was not exactly what they was thinking or having on their mind, The customer service has been working great for me! If you want to try I will recommend this site or the app, Thanks Marketplace Tradet!!!

Community in the digital age!

The other day when I left my neighborhood on the way to work l saw a tiny dead dog on the side of the road, He had a collar but no tags and was still warm so I moved him up towards the sidewalk and marked him with orange yard flags. I checked the next-door site before going into work after completing the drive, and saw that someone had posted that they were missing their dog and they included pictures, and sure enough the dog I found was theirs. I replied to the post and told him where their baby was. She was grateful to have found him and at least have some closure. This would not have happened so quickly and cleanly if not for this site. It is a very useful tool that I am very grateful for!

The app Is great. And I appreciate how they don’t ask for a piece of your money. The infrastructure of the app is pretty solid too. That being said, I have some ideas that might help. It would help to know a little of what the person you are talking to is like. I thought of having either a section for reviewing( and viewing reviews of) people you communicate with. Also, to see reviews that have been written on people(be able to write about a buyer/seller) I believe this would improve the experience of those who just want/need to buy and sell. There are way too many people that say they will come but never show up without any notice.

Still Love it Here!

So Idk what happened to my old review but I just wanted to update this and say I still love Marketplace Tradet. I make more money on here compared to other platforms (especially those “popular” platforms) the fact that you take 10% is good/fair to me and what I love most is the updated shipping label price! You guys seriously helped my business (small boutique items) by providing cheaper shipping options! Love you guys keep coming up with those updates! Oh and I really liked that live customer service update where we were directly messaging customer support! Idk what happened because its gone now but that was totally awesome!

Could've been better.

It would be a much better app if it respected my rights as an American to conduct trade without restrictions on such things as a pocketknife, a slingshot, virtually anything construed as what other countries consider harmful as a weapon. Gunparts are not a weapon, a collectors edition pocketknife is no more a weapon than a collectors Lamborghini. Both items can be used improperly, yet my rights are infringed based on fear. This app is prime example of why it's not better used, it's because most things can't be sold here besides used clothes and worn out tires and even then your pestered with upgrade and promote for top dollar for items that most likely won't sell.

Very Trustworthy Site

Marketplace Tradet is awesome as the site protects the seller and the buyer. As far as myself posting on here, I had to confirm my email, my phone plus I posted a picture of myself! I will tell you there is another site that has been around for years, it breads every scam artist , every pervert and I will never post another product on that site!! Marketplace Tradet protections are rare and I highly recommend anyone posting on here, follow their advice and you can’t go wrong! I just sold 2 items I have been trying to sell on the other site and within 2 days, I sold both items! Thank you Marketplace Tradet!!

LOVE LOVE THIS APP BUT...

Just a suggestion to make it here you can update an item and it changes from “posted a month ago” to “posted 1min ago” and just updates the listing.. it would help with sales a TON! I’m both a frequent seller and buyer and I never buy listing that say that they were posted over a month ago without asking if the item is still available. Now if I see a listing that has been posted within the last week I will buy ASAP! I know other buyers are like this too and I would love a a seller be able to edit a listing and it update posted time! other than that I love this app so much!

Post removal by Marketplace Tradet

I am very confused and disappointed with this app. I posted a used Louis Vuitton handbag and it was removed by Marketplace Tradet citing that it went against policy for prohibited items. I reposted and it was removed again. I contacted Marketplace Tradet and was told the item was prohibited and I should read the policy. If you open the app and search Louis Vuitton products you will see multiple listings, can’t understand why I post the same and it’s removed. Very disappointing and will be removing this app. Someone needs to fully explain this. Wasn’t going to give any stars but was forced to in order to process this post.

What to expect from Marketplace Tradet?

Well I’ve been a member for about 6 months the highest purchase I made was on a luxury handbag. To my delightful surprise when I was not satisfied, after completing the return policy I was given a full four figure refund! Buy with ease, always check reviews there are a lot of good & honest sellers on here that don’t try and up charge or get over on u. Be smart with ur purchases and u will enjoy this site as much as I do. Perfect for a lil something special for u or a big surprise for a loved one. So many things to choice from Ur will find what ur looking for and with luck a few things u werent?

This is hands down my favorite site. I discovered Marketplace Tradet about a year ago on accident and it has been my go to for everything from makeup I normally buy to shoes they no longer make. I get so many compliments on the stuff I have bought off here and you absolutely can’t beat the prices! The addition of taxes sucked but that was an across the board to everyone. If you’re deciding between Poshmark, thread up and those other sites vs Marketplace Tradet, I’d 10/10 tell you to come here. You can’t beat the prices, shipping and customer service!

Disappointing Experience, Avoid at All Costs!

I recently downloaded this app with high hopes of selling my couch quickly and easily. However, my experience was far from pleasant. Right after I uploaded my couch, added a detailed description, and set its location, I eagerly pressed the upload button, only to be greeted by a frustrating error message saying something like "upload the right pictures." Confused, I double-checked the pictures I had chosen, convinced that they were indeed of my couch. To my dismay, the same error message appeared again after I deleted and re-uploaded the pictures. Feeling incredibly frustrated and with no clear explanation as to what went wrong, I decided to delete the app immediately. I must say, this app's functionality is severely lacking. It failed to deliver on its promises and left me feeling utterly disappointed. I found it to be a complete waste of my time and effort. I cannot stress enough how useless and frustrating my experience with this app was. If you're looking for an app that actually works and provides a hassle-free selling experience, I highly recommend you steer clear of this one. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by exploring other more reliable alternatives.

Better then competitors

This app is very easy to use. The site takes 10% just like eBay. But it skips the extra PayPal feels because it get deposited strait to your bank account. I sell items very fast. I love this app. If you want to speak about down sides to this app I would says once the item is delivered you have to wait for the buyer to rate you before you are paid or you have to wait 3 days for Marketplace Tradet to release your funds. Also it takes another 3 days to deposit your profit. Overall the profit it a lot higher on this app then other selling apps that are similar

Great App

This app works great. It’s secure, has everything you would want to buy, and makes selling old or unused things really easy. The only problem I have with it is the money. Once you sell something the money stays in your account and you can use it to buy stuff in app, but in order to take the money out you need to wire it to your checking account. I don’t feel secure about doing that so I wish they had a PayPal option to move money their. I would sell a lot more of my things if I knew the money could go to my account more securely.

I’m very disappointed in this app. I thought it would have been a great app to sell my BMX bike. I got a few messages. But ALL of them where Scammers. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP. they try to steal your bank information by Zelle and fake emails. Trying to claim that the account you have isn’t a public business account. So they have to sent you 300 plus whatever they price they are “trying to buy from you” so then another emails comes in says you need to send the refund back. Even tho you DIDNT get Payed ANY MONEY AT ALL. They send you there account information so you send the “ 300$ they send you” this app just not be up what so ever if this app is just gonna be full with scammers. Thank you. Please be aware of these people. They make it seem like they are going to met up with you but wanna pay before they get the bike.

The best app I have I can sell anything’s and everything here very fast. love it the only thing I don’t like is that when someone want to return and item they don’t ask any question to the seller they just approved I have one return where the lady said the jeans was Brocke when it was brand new with tags and they approve the return. I was very mad because I work hard to fix the package very cute for her to be happy with her new item and them I receive the item back I’m no happy pls change the way let us help to understand why. Other then that very good.

No reply from customer service

I use to love this app and the customers Ive sold to have always given me a 5 star rating. A few months the app stopped working. I tried to get a hold Marketplace Tradet several times but, the app doesn’t make it easy for you to get in contact with them. Finally I was able to find contact point and I haven’t heard anything back to let them know the app is not allowing others to see my items. The items I’m posting after popular items for a fair and reasonable price yet I’m not even seeing one view.

Fav Buy/Sell App

Easiest place to buy/sell items!! Has all the brands.. I love that Marketplace gives shipping options & is cheapest I’ve seen! ThredUP & Poshmark have great options/products but they can both be expensive - due to sellers need to make somewhat of profit for worth (Poshmark - & I’ve noticed people aren’t really using Poshmark to buy, only “like”) & ThredUP’s prices are just as expensive as retailers... plus both have 1 shipping option! Marketplace has way better options & make it so easy for both buyers & sellers! People actually spend / make money using Marketplace. Thanks Marketplace 😃

Marketplace is what I had been waiting for!

Wow - Marketplace has so much awesome stuff for sale! I have been able to buy Lilly Pulitzer new with tags, camping gear, jigsaw puzzles, household goods, books, jackets, and other totally random things for way less than a retail store! When I need something, I check on Marketplace and I find items I like, in the condition I desire at merely a fraction of the price of retail. I have only had a couple problems with sellers but Marketplace customer service is wonderful and helped me out right away. Give Marketplace a try, and check out this wonderful app!

New place to shop

I’m so excited to have found this app. Everything is very simple to work. Even easier that eBay (back when it was mostly second hand goods) I especially love the simplicity of the deduction fees no complicated math needed. Minus 1 star for the limited photos when trying to sell a group of items 4 isn’t honestly enough. Also searching seems a tad buggy. Like if I try to sort from low to high items disappear. Regardless it’s definitely my new go to for buying and selling over eBay.

I wanted to buy a Xbox series x for my boyfriend for his birthday I saw one that caught my eye everything new and cheap $233 I talked to the man Zion trade I think but I sent him the money the EXACT MONEY and he said I needed to pay shipping because I live in Bakersfield and he lives in Oceanside and it was not a problem so I sent him the shipping amount because I didn’t know how else to pay the shipping by myself and later the same day he tells me to send him 120 I was confused because the amount on the website said 110 and he sends me pictures of packages on a truck and trust me it looked so real till I saw a little microscope and on the side it said Google images I was laughing because omg I just got scammed never purchasing anything again from this app good deals but you can’t trust anyone be safe!

They do not communicate with you the app does not work they don’t make it easy for you to communicate with them in. Anyway shape of form. I’m surprised Apple even allowed to stay on here. I try to open an account play something in and then I’ll tell you is it your account is that open or is close I don’t tell you why do you not communicate with you don’t give an option to communicate with them and find out what is the problem. They really need to remove applications from developers. I guess you do not communicate immediately with the consumer for any way shape or form so waste peoples time the app does not work when compared to other applications. This one is terrible in his management.

My Review

I've been using Marketplace Tradet for 2.5 years now and the app had been wonderful to me ever since. I've made lots of money selling used items of mine I don't need anymore from shoes, to electronics, to accessories, and much more. Another really great thing about the app is that people have really great deals when selling their stuff. Especially cars and electronics. Overall It's a great app to have if you have possessions laying around collecting dust. You can make so much money and find so many great deals on what you need. Just be careful.

The Arts and Crafts section is where you should be looking if you are looking for something special. There are also good things that you can find. Fair warning, buying from here is not for kids. I understand the safety issue, but there are certain people you can follow. Some of them don’t even know the value of what they have. Please be careful about what you buy from here.

Wonderful app for buying and selling

I absolutely love this app its so easy to use as both a buyer or a seller! You can always find a great deal on just about any kind of clothing item. You never no what you might come across that’s the addicting part of the whole shopping experience. Anything from todays styles to styles from years past bonus you can bargain with the seller for a better price too. You can’t do that in a store in the mall. Look for promo codes for added savings too

Did not use this app

First time using this app, and I got scammed. They obviously did not go out of the way to prevent these types of things from happening. There is a user by the name of Rogers that claims to be a buyer who will pay you with PayPal. Funny thing is when you give him your email. The PayPal messages are actually coming from him although they appear to be from PayPal if you pay attention to the font and some of his poor English sentences. It’s obvious it’s a scam. Do not use this app. Something about it is shady. We had a deal I shipped him. The item told me the payment was on hold through PayPal and I will receive it once the item was delivered. I got the notification it was delivered but the money never came into my PayPal account, therefore it’s a fraud and a scam.

Be safe

I was on this app for a good two hours. It was so many people inbox for me. They didn’t wanna negotiate a price they went straight in and kept asking for my phone number. That they can meet now, without talking about the price! When I told them, my husband will be meeting with them,it was the end of the conversation. ladies be safe because I don’t know what type of app or activities they have going on on this app. I only gave five stars so my rating could be at the top.

Overall great app

So far have made over $400 through this app selling all the things I no longer need! I even purchased an iphone though this app. I have never had any major issues with this app and the only time that I’ve had any issue with a buyer, the automatic rating came in extremely quickly! I had emailed customer service, who got back to me quickly, but the problem was already solved! Overall a great app to help sell and buy used goods.

Don’t download!

Every response I got back from all my posts I made were all phishing scam artists who first wanted my phone number when talking in the chat was working just fine…why do u want my number? And second, they all wanted to use Zelle to transfer money directly into my bank account…every single response (and I got alot of responses) I got wanted to use zelle…and couldn’t do cash on hand or pay at door, and they all said okay bye. Just like that every single different person said “ok bye” when a sale couldn’t be made, even if it took a few days of trying to play barter, they still wanted to use zelle. This ap is made to phish! Stay away from this ap! Report it till it’s gone!

Wow, where have you been all my life? Your site has quite a few of the items that I love to collect and the prices are pretty reasonable and the items are in pretty great condition. And the items are shipped out quickly from the individual sellers. It is probably a very good thing that I had not discovered you earlier because I have made purchases that I would not have made in a land based store. Thank you.

Great app for extra income

Honestly, I was just kind of joking when I started selling. I had no high expectations from this app. 2 years later I am a seller with 2K++ positive ratings and growing. I am addicted! Even tho I sell on other platforms this is by far my favorite one, it’s easy to post and the best part is that they only keep 10% which I consider a steal!! It does have some flaws with communication but I notice is improving. Try it out!!

App used to be great but bugs with tracking shipping

App used to be great but is bugging with the scanning of usps tracking number creating a huge mess with Item for Sale. Customer support is not answering in more than a week. Tried their Marketplace twitter support , their Marketplace facebook support and support from their own website but not even one answer. For that reason i give only one star untill they fix those problems.

True Verified is the best way to deal with someone on here

The process was very easy and free. I had several items posted and many ask questions. Several offers at once and try not to ignore some of the other potential buyers because you have one already interested. First come first serve. All smooth transactions thus far. The app needs some updating but nothing to really complain about.

This app is a great app and I love to use it for buying and selling. There are a few rules, like you can’t mention other apps, which is fine! And I really like that you get a refund if an item is canceled! This app is great, I have bought a few things off of here and the sellers are really nice! Never a timely reply from anyone

I think bots are running this site. I’ve questioned more than 50 people in my area about products they had for sale, out of the 50 only 7 replied and 2 of those were pre generated reply’s. I get more notifications about products I’ve liked, or asked questions about being sold than anything else. Something is not right.

All wrong

Literally the app is only full of scammers, "buyers" who want to pay you for Zelle or Venmo and thus scam you, they say that they will send you more money because the bank asks for it but it is a SCAM, fortunately I am not a person who falls into those things, but many people are, it is a pity that there is not an option to report all the profiles that only seek to scam people. You can't look for new products, they always appear at the beginning and when I try to look for something else it says that there is nothing available. It's the worst app I've had in a long time, it doesn't regulate its rules and lends itself to scams. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APPLICATION🤮🤮🤮🤮

This site is TOP tier

I legit love Marketplace Tradet, and even though I would use other apps such as Poshmark or Curtsy, I feel like Marketplace Tradet is the best place to sell your items. You can also find just about ANYTHING on here, I’m pretty sure if I needed a kidney I could find it on this app. Anyway, I never write reviews but I have to gas up my boi Marketplace Tradet for being the BEST app I’ve used to sell my things and purchase items.

Probably a very good site

I like the exposure for a listing my items for sale, but I have a heck of a hard time with their website. When I open the app sometimes it goes straight to letting me take a photo and posting a listing, but other times it just won’t go there. And I personally just don’t know where the button is to start a listing by taking a picture.

My Opinion like it or not

I love this site, but what I don’t like, is when someone says they’ll hold something or make an appt for me to pick something up, and agree on a price then go back on our agreement without so much as a heads up or even an option to come earlier or beat the other offer, etc. If you make a deal with someone then stick by it!!! This is ridiculous, this app was good, then started store or web ads in-between items listed and it was somewhat ok but now I log in into my messages and what I see a big fat advertisement right in the middle of my messages. Please stop with this crap. Sick of ads everywhere. If it continues I’ll be gone gone from this site.

I’ve been using Marketplace Tradet for a few years now, and absolutely love it. The app itself is well done, easy to navigate through, and hasn’t had any bugs or glitches. It seems to me, in general, the people I have met up with on here, whether buying from or selling to, aren’t trying to scam. Marketplace Tradet provides a great service, all around.

Full of scammers

This app is filled with scammers who offer to buy your items via cash app or Zelle. They send you an email which asks you to increase the amount allowed for deposit in your accounts, they then tell you they’re going to trust you to give them back the extra money they need to send you to upgrade your account. Check the email address and make sure any emails from your apps end in the correct app name. If the email address ends in gmail, you’re about to get scammed. Do yourselves a favor, don’t download this app. Go with a more reputable app like letgo or facebook marketplace.
