I called customer service to get a coupon that I didn’t get credit for. After 55 MINUTES, the lady in customer service said they did not ever have that coupon. I asked her if she was saying that I did not actually have the coupon in my hands that I had read to her FOUR TIMES. She said nothing, other than I’m sorry, MA’AM. I then asked her if she thought I was a woman, and she said no, I was clearly a man. I asked her if I could speak to a supervisor because she clearly couldn’t resolve my issue. She did not answer me, but put me on hold for TWENTY FIVE MORE MINUTES, then hung up on me. I wasted 1 hour, 19 minutes and 37 seconds of my life, according to my cellphone. After about fifteen minutes, I didn’t care about the coupon; I wanted to see if her evasiveness was on purpose or not. I guess I got my answer. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME ON THE PHONE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE; go to the desk in the store.
Metro Market in Mequon is a fantastic store to go grocery shopping or use the pharmacy. The people who work there are absolutely service oriented. People like CJ, Mary, Ava, Chris and others welcome you into the store or if using the online service welcome you there. I am so impressed with this fantastic group of people. Nothing is too much for them to do for you. Mequon Metro should be the model for other stores. This is a family and we, the guests are part of the family. You don’t find that anywhere, but in Mequon at Metro Evelyn Greenberger
This has been an easy way to get grocery shopping done with a busy family of 5. The app is intuitive, and easy to use once you utilize it. But, there is no where to click “go green” to reduce waste. And if you are looking for an item sometimes you cannot “purchase” purchase it on the app. Example: fresh donuts or edamame out of the pods. I can only get certain items by going in the store.
I Purchased gift cards to pay for my groceries and there’s no way to pay with a gift card. Then I tried entering my credit card and there was no way for the payment to go through unless I save the credit card to my account which I dislike very much. It took me an hour last night to try to figure payment out. I went to bed lost my spot in line, and it took me 10 Minutes to figure out that I had to save my card to the account which looks like an optional button in order for my order to be placed. We lost our spot for first thing in the morning and now we have to pick it up in the afternoon.
I have shopped at Metro Market since it opened downtown MKE then for the past 3 years in Mequon when we moved. The customer service and staff at both stores is great. This app however is slow and glitchy. I have to use the website to order online as I don’t have the patience for the app.
App is ok. Keep getting an error when I try to check out my pick-up order so had to order delivery...which is super annoying. Also, I don’t understand why I can add things to my cart and only after I try to check out, the app says they don’t have that item and then I have to swap it out. Had my location service on and my store selected when shopping. With all the difficulties with the app, it Barry makes it more convenient than just going to the store...
Overall, a very well-made app that I rarely have issues with. The one big complaint is that if Kroger ever decides to rebrand your primary supermarket, they make you download a new app to place orders there. Under the hood, it’s the exact same app, just with a different icon and a different set of stores. And I know that technically they’re capable of supporting multiple brands because the app gives you like a whole year grace period before forcing you to switch. Just give us one Kroger app that works at every Kroger store. We all know it’s all Kroger, whether you call it Pick ‘n Save or Metro Market or whatever it’s called around the country, stop pretending it isn’t.
Since they're now forcing us to leave the Pick n Save app after converting PnS stores to Metro Market, they really should make sure the two apps stay in sync. Doing a search on PnS app gets me just what I'm looking for, but on the MM app it gives me a whole list of distantly-related items that I have to scroll down in hope of finding what I've actually searched for. You need a quality control process that compares coding for the two apps & repairs the one that's not working.
So happy with the Metro Market app upgrades! The ability to create shopping lists, download coupons, and schedule delivery/pick up times is awesome. I’m saving so much time AND money because you can see your subtotal before you checkout. This app is intuitive, smart (tracks my shopping behavior), and is easy to use. THANK YOU!
I’ve been picking up my groceries since Covid began in 2019…your pickup crew is so Cusomer Serivce oriented and friendly, I actually look forward to seeing them…Whatever you are doing as a company shows in the crew you’ve assembled…GREAT work Metro Mart…
I love this app. It is so easy to use! I love how it saves our previous purchases, as we tend to purchase the same things. The coupons are easy to find and easier to use. I have never had a problem doing the pick up with this app.
The metro market app is easy to use. Store shoppers select high quality produce. My orders are accurately filled. Pick up is efficient and contactless. I am grateful for this service from metro market and Kroger’s. Stay healthy everyone.
Location change cannot be done, even when you select. I do not want to go to this store anymore, yet “so what”....your original store selected is where you have to go. Just stinks.
Beautifully designed app and UI! Everything loads super fast and the app is organized really well. Probably one of the best grocery shopping apps I have been on!
I would like this app even better if it would allow me to actually pick up my groceries at the store two miles from my house instead of telling me it isn’t there when I’ve been exposed to Covid. Instead I had to pay a delivery fee and tip a driver, thanks for that👎

Glad there’s an app to order food but it is a pain to OPEN each item on my “list” just to add it to my cart. Then I have to add the qty again! Come on save me please! Should be easy to move all items by checking them and moving to cart. One or two clicks.
I love this app I can buy groceries for my son and he can just go pick it up or have it delivered! That way I know that he won’t waste the cash I could VENMO him😂 Easy to use and lots to pick from!
Updated app 2 months ago. Now doesn’t work. Can’t log in. Stuck in “Authorizing” loop Waited on phone to talk to rep She filed case report. No reply. No request for more information about problems I can go online with laptop to clip coupons for my account to use in store. So it appears I DO have an account Kroger Pay is worthless if you can’t bring up your account in the store BTW if you are forcing use of your mobile app, MAKE SURE WiFi is GOOD in the store!!! IF I cannot bring up your app while in the aisle, what good is the app? Invest in the infrastructure!!!
I wish I could use the pick up option but every time I try to use it, the check out button is useless… every time I click check out, it’s an endless loop of confirming what location and back to asking if you’re ready to check out. Please fix!
My pickup order had poor substitutes, my free items weee “out of stock” and not replaced. No resolution after 2 weeks of emails with no response at all. Will be shopping anywhere else but here from now on. Their fruits and veggies always go bad in 2 days as well. Don’t waste your money here, they don’t care.
For the last week, I’ve been unable to login to the app. I’ve reset my password, reinstalled the app, contacted customer support, and logged into their website. But I’m still unable to actually use the app. Since unable to use the app, I’ve just stopped shopping at Metro Market.
I always has to stand in front of the item that I need to clip and it does not link to my old pick n save card I had. They try hard not to let you save. You have to really patient and try hard to save money on groceries.
Now have to expand shopping list in order to see prices. Worst for completed items items which have to be expanded individually! Extremely customer unfriendly and almost useless.
Can never log in. Works intermittently. My wife and I have stopped shopping at our local Metro Market regularly as we prefer grocery pick up and app makes it easy if it actually worked. Fortunately other retailers have a better functioning app for grocery pick up.
Every time I try to check out it takes me to the store location but doesn’t list the store I have chosen. If I cancel I go right back to checkout screen and I haven’t placed the order.
I can’t see the whole screen on my iPhone- much of it is cut off. Couldn’t actually see if I was placing the order or the time of pickup. Now That I got the reminder email, I see the pickup time is when I’m working. Trying to change the pickup time and I can’t do that either. Very frustrating.
they keep making you sign in - you pick your items and it go in as a list not in the cart - you pick the location they make you change the location - system is really messed up
App is absolutely useless. Multiple times have placed an order at my local store, but the order gets sent to another location. Have reached out multiple times for them to fix it. They have not.
App keeps loosing my user session and reprinting me to login again. Would love to have better intelligent field recognition and native iOS auto fill compatibility.
Did your intern make these updates? Please test functionality before you release updates. This version will only allow you to check out in delivery or ship mode, not for pickup.
The app doesn’t recognize bar codes of items in the store and when I search for items that are supposed to have an electronic coupon (according to the shelf tag) they are not found. Useless!
Just upgraded per notification. After downloading and touching “open”, I received a notice that the version was no longer supported. Come on guys get done right. I’d really like to use the app.
