I like using this app because I use Miami international Airport many times and it is easy to look to see how long the TSA lines are especially if I have to use a wheelchair in the airport because I can’t walk long distances plus the airport is so big
Works good to keep track of your flight and distance to gate from wherever you are currently, also distance to nearby shops or whatever you are looking for. Just wish it included the boarding time for the flight and the option to remind you when you should start heading to the gate based on how far away you are and the boarding time.
The map won’t let you explore at all. It keeps taking you back to “You are Here” when trying to expand and look for anything. And the restaurant lookup feature either isn’t working or doesn’t give information by location. You have to scroll through alphabetically and then hunt to see it something is near you. This app is pretty much useless.
I tried the all because I wanted to see the restaurants that were close enough to my gate for a layover dinner. The restaurant list is not and cannot be filtered by terminal, so it was completely unhelpful. I don’t care if you have a great sandwich shop clear across the campus, I’m stuck near my gate. Whoever decided how this app would work, they clearly never stopped to imagine what a person visiting an airport might want or need.
I want to be able to view / select departures times and then viewing a list of the airlines leaving at those times. And in which runway. Currently, this app makes me choose an airline first and displays its departure information afterwards. It’s too time consuming and not user friendly.
Very incomplete. Frustrating to use. Some buttons like explore Concourse E return a Nothing Found. It can’t remember flights. Can’t provide you a path on the map from an arrival gate to a departure gate. The Levels don’t work on the map. They always display Level 2. Pitiful app. Don’t bother downloading it. Using it will make you want to smash your phone.
This app has a great modern and responsive look and feel but falls short in accuracy of the data provided. In several occasions searching for arrivals fail to provide results when the web page does work, and when results are found sometimes are incomplete, showing less flights that the web counterpart.
I've had nothing but bad experiences with this app , the app does not provides correct or updated information, this really needs to be improved, I felt like I did not what to do and calling the airport for information was about the same bad experience, best if you leave on this planet by yourself and don't have anyone expecting you at all.
Just landed in MIA at 11 PM to find the train to Rental Car Center isn’t working - news like this impacts a lot of travelers, but there is no mention of it on the official app of MIA airport!! There is no help section on the app, no FAQs. Since you aren’t helping us, you must be only there to profit from us. Disappointed MIA, disappointed!
I heard the app advertised on the TV while waiting here at MIA and downloaded it. Nearly half the restaurants are gone or different or closed and generally the app is not up to date. Bummer for users and not sure why it was being advertised.
What an improvement over the 1.0 version. Great user interface, and geo location/maps/indoor navigation features. Very intuitive and user friendly. Accurate flight and airline information. Everything you need to know about MIA at your fingertips.
This is the worst iOS app I have ever used. It is merely a weak version of info already on the web so why not just use mobile flightview site for MIA? Nothing listed on the app that the Skytrain even exists, let alone how to use it and where the stops are located. The north terminal is beautiful yet it is completely ignored. The "near me" feature is useless as it has no geo properties meaning it cannot provide services indicated in its own name. The MIA Mover page indicates "now open" as if it was recent yet it's been open for years. It is obvious that someone felt the need to be contemporary by having an app for MIA but it is nothing more than old, stagnant, static pages with no interactivity or real purpose.
I'm a frequent traveler at MIA for business. This app has been a lifesaver. It has helped me navigate the airport and I've been able to discover new places to eat and shop.
For a first try, it is a good app. However, it lacks one of the features that make an smartphone a smartphone a sharing feature. Cannot share information about your flight being watched with others. In addition cannot copy and paste from within the application any of the content to be shared.
This app requires full time location services before it will even show you a map. Really?? What is wrong with having location services when using the app? Sorry to say that an area that depends so much on tourism doesn't seem to know how to build a useful app to get people to want to come use the airport. Maybe they will learn before the next release.
Such a cool app. I fly out of Miami all the time, and this app lets me know where my gate is, where I am inside the airport and what's around me. I love it!
Never got to use it. Freezes for all kinds of reasons right on the initial screen. Right now stuck at a "downloading license agreement" dialog. Waste of time.
