I’ve seen the seductive commercials of another “cash back” shopping app* & only signed up for it last holiday season at my son’s request. At first, the % of cash back was impressive & higher than Mr. Rebates. BUT after the holidays, when the specials died down & I finally had adequate time to research it, I found out why the cash back dropped so dramatically. This other company ONLY pays quarterly & has SO MANY restrictions on purchases that it’s hard to earn a decent amount unless you’re a daily shopper (which I’m not). *I’m always leery when a company quietly changes its name & then re-emerges with aggressive marketing under its new name. I’ll be sticking with my tried-&-true, always faithful Mr. Rebates, thank you.
Mr Rebates is the easiest to use. They have tons of great stores, but I think what I love the most is that unlike some other rebate apps/sites, Mr. Rebates will always show you what additional coupons are available, when you can use the app or not, so you aren’t wasting your time if things aren’t eligible for the rebate. They also seem to have a higher rebate percentage compared to other sites. The checkout is so simple to get paid, and they even remind you with emails to ask for your money! Who else would do that!?!
Who doesn’t want cash back? I always shop through the Mr Rebates app to find the best deals and earn money back… I’ve been doing this for years, and have been sent checks totalling over $600 to date. This site is 100% legit. And in all the years I’ve used it, no glitches on the app. That’s saying a LOT. People talk about the other sites you can join to save money- I’m staying true to Mr. Rebates because he’s treated me so well for so many years. If I wasn’t married, I just might consider becoming Mrs. Rebates.
It is a solid app and easy to navigate. Gives you sometimes better % money back return than other app but it takes sooooo long to get the money back!!!! It usually takes I think 3 months? Somethings I even forget that I have money in there. But at least app send you reminder email to let me know there is money in a account to transfer end of certain month. So that’s a nice touch so someone like me who randomly do online shopping doesn’t forget to transfer money. Over all it’s a easy app to use but wish it doesn’t take this long to get money back...
My daughter suggested this app several years ago and I have been using it since then. Very easy to use, with lots of stores participating. I put the stores I use in my favorites, and it’s a breeze for the next time I order from that store. Reminders near the end of a month to request a check (or not, as you wish) are so helpful.
30 Waiting Period for Missed Rebates from Merchants
When the system doesn’t generate a rebate, you have to wait 30 day before contacting Customer Service to get it updated; then when it is approved, the 90 day wait begins, in effect, increasing the wait time to 120 days. If a missed rebate is granted, it should be backdated to the date of purchase and not penalize the customer.
I should on line all the time. To me this rebate is just free money in a world where everything is just going up in cost. Just wish when I forget to login first I could still get my rebate. Sometimes I just go brain dead and forget. That on me. Keep adding store and increasing rebate so we don’t have to go to a competitor.
This is my favorite online shopping app. It’s usually higher than its main competitors. Those complaining about the 90 day window, I actually don’t mind. Some stores like Target have a 90 day return policy so it makes sense to me. Plus, the other app automatically cuts you a check every 3 months, which is about 90 days.
I tell everyone about Mr. Rebates. It is very easy to use. During the holidays, with certain stores the rebate percentage is extremely higher. You just have to remember to use it. It is an extra bonus when shopping at many stores. Thank you ! !
While Mr Rebates tends to have higher cash back than competitor apps, it literally takes 90 days to get your cash back. Competitor apps take less than a week to get the cash credited to your account. This is ridiculous and unnecessary and makes me not want to use the app. This has happened every single time I have used their app, so it wasn’t an isolated incident. I currently have credits pending from purchases in November!!!
This app is a scam. I have used Rakuten and other cash back apps for years without issue. This Mr. Rebates app never tracks my purchases, I have to manually report them and then they take months to get back to me, requiring multiple emails and follow up. Recently they have started saying that the merchant is denying them on my manual requests I submit. I will never use this app again and I HIGHLY advise AGAINST using this app for cash back. You won’t see a penny of it. You’re much better off using a more known, reliable cash back company.
I have been a member of Mrrebates since 2008. I have gotten back hundreds of dollars in free money. I recommend Mrrebates to all my friends and family. Especially in times like these, we all need to save extra money!

They have the best rates and customer service is stellar. The app gets the job done. Internal browser works very well compared to others. Competitors payout far less and have a similar platform. You can’t go wrong with Mr. Rebates.
I do a lot of my shopping online and I can’t sing the praises of Mr. Rebates loud enough! It is super easy to use and you only have to remember to shop through the app to get your cash back. No strings attached! I highly recommend it!
I have been a user of Mrrebates for more than a decade and I love it. Nothing is better than getting cash back on shopping I am doing anyway. The app is great that they finally offer.
Mr. Rebates is a great app! I’ve made so much money from basically doing nothing. I get more money back from my referrals than I usually make myself, (simply because I don’t tend to shop online as much,) but I still make at least $20 a year!
This app is easy to use, provides all the info I needed to look for participating vendors, determining the amount of rebates I earned, and requesting my rebate check. It was also easy to update my profile data as well. The only thing missing is a fingerprint login process!

I don’t usually have a problem with this app and it offers cash back on some stores that others don’t.. I have not been able to find it place for “contact us “, however. I made a large purchase from Macy’s in June and have not been credited with the cash nor is it in cash pending although the order has shipped. I find that very upsetting and there should be some way to contact Mr Rebates. If there is, I cannot find it.
I really enjoy using this app. I just think that the cash back could be available for withdrawal a little sooner but everything is great other than that.
At first I really liked the app I got money back right away and them it kept saying pending cash with no record I ended up messaging them and they got back with me right away and soon after the money was available they pretty much do what they say they are
I love using this app to find new stores and deals on my favorites. App needs a bit of debugging - back arrow navigation button often takes several clicks to work. Overall I enjoy Mrrebates!
I have consistently saved money using this app! I switched from the other Rak*ten app because their only offers seem to consist of 1%? They can keep it!
This was my favorite cash back App before this recently updated. After this update, I haven’t received any cash back from using it! What’s more ridiculous is some of my previous cash back turned out to be ZERO!!!! I didn’t return any of these orders! Very disappointed and will not use this App anymore! I will only use Rakuten in the future!
Whenever I plan to purchase something online, I check out both Mr Rebates and Ebates. Your site has always given a higher percentage than Ebates. I end up using Mr Rebates 99% of the time. Well done!
The app needs major work to be actually user friendly but the deals they offer is worth using their services. Overall this is another money back service to have in your collection.
Super simple. I used Ebates and MrRebates sites, but went to Ebates/ Rakuten app exclusively. Now with a Mr. Rebates app, they are back on the mix and frequently Mr. Rebates has better cash back -so this a huge win for cost conscious consumers.
90 days to process the cash back. That’s 3 entire months. Today is the 90th day, hallelujah, I never thought it would get here. Clicked PayPal transfer, says “Mr. Rebates will process Paypal payments at the beginning of March for your request that was made in February.” 4 months for rebates. For the age of technology, this is remarkably slow and gives me enough incentive to not use your app in the future. I gave 2 stars for all the stores available! Pretty sweet selection. Too slow for me though. IBOTTA is 30 days and instant cashback into Venmo. You guys are 4x’s longer. Good luck in the future! Sincerely, Elizabeth
It’s great to work in unison with Ebates, though a lot of mr rebates discounts are far More drastic! Easy to use, Paypal And you’re good to go. You’re an idiot NOT to use this, it’s only job is to save you money’
I love the cash back benefit of Mr Rebates and now having a well functioning app makes it so much easier to keep earning as I find myself using my phone more than my desktop computer.
When I place the order, the app stop at (processing do not close or go back ) keep waiting.......... The order has been go through because the money has been show up on my bank account. Need to improve your app
I love mr rebates but 2 stores I purchase from ulta and ShopHQ do not work correctly in app and in future need to use computer. I have encountered another store also but that one is no longer participating
Mr. Rebates tends to have the higher rebate percentage between it and Ebates, and the app is easy to use for shopping. Works well, and I get my cash back promptly after requesting the check.
Mr Rebates is very reliable note that there are certain vendors who take a long time to give your cash back like expedía for example. I have contacted Mr Rebates customer service and they are very responsive

I am loving Mr. Rebates. Great deals and options. It does take a while to get your money, but it makes sense. It avoids the returns and need to credit or ask for funds back.
Usual rebate scam - lure you in with some sign up bonus then you order things through it and some orders went missing from the list on your account (i am sure “technical mistake”) and one is still hanging for 110 days as pending. Wonder how they got some many good reviews. Do not waste your time!
I switched from Ebates for awhile to Mr. Rebates for about two months. I’m back to using Ebates because this app stole at least 10 dollars worth of rewards out of my account and wanted me to send them receipts saying what coupons I used so they can give them back to me. Don’t use this app if you like coupons. 🤬
