I’ve loved my label maker P941BP since the day I purchased it this Spring 2023. Today it suddenly started reprinting the first label in each file. For example, 1st is receipt and 2nd is the address label. All of a sudden, I am getting only multiple receipts and no label. I formed my own work around by using a separate pdf software and then printing ONLY the label page, and cropping. I hope this doesn’t distort the scanning label for the post office. Wish me luck! I love the idea of an app to print whatever you want from your phone, but there’s so many issues with the app that it doesn’t function smoothly. It needs a lot of work before I would ever suggest the app to anyone. There are misspellings, and nowhere to find your saved labels. Even when you change the label sizes, often times it won’t save what you just changed. And when you try to print, the screen is blank, so it prints a blank sheet. Sometimes the text you put on is blown up, sometimes it’s nonexistent. This leads to a lot of labels wasted. They also mention a 72 hour time for them to review purchases in order to gain points. They do not adhere to the 72 hours. Again, this app needs a lot of work before it runs smoothly. It seems as though they care more about the aesthetics of the wishes page than the backend of things
The app works great on my phone but on my computer is soo frustrating!! You go to enter a text box and it says Double Click to Edit but no matter if you double click, single click, right click, triple click, or click 100x... It randomly works and then if you get it to let you type, it will stop responding after a few letters and you have to do it all over again! The point of buying this printer for labels is to save time from handwriting everything! The MacOS app takes way longer to get to work than it would take to hand write! Please fix the bug!! I try full screen, extend the window, and still cant get the text option to work right.
I got this thermal printer for my small business and realized I have uses for it for many other reasons. It is so easy to use. I would recommend getting the Bluetooth because they have their own app. You can create stickers with otherwise you have to use Canva or another app to make the stickers if it’s directly connected to your computer, I bought that one for work Not crazy about that one but the Bluetooth 100% recommend
Wish list: 1. Could find the printer on a computer and it lets me choose 4x6 size printing easily (and wirelessly. I can find it on my computer but it won’t connect and work with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.) 2. Keep me logged in on my device….forever! 3. More printing label size options. Thanks! (The label will print with other brand sizes so it works but it sprints out like 3 blanks in between so doesn’t work well with the printer.)
(I am not and have not been paid for this review- I am just THAT happy with this product!) So easy to set up and even easier to use. Never have had one issue with this incredible little printer and use it all day long and have been to print medication stickers and mailing labels for the last 6 months. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Gets the job done but takes way longer than it should. Can’t upload multiple labels at one time. Can’t print multiple labels at one time. For my small business both of these functions would make it much easier to pack shipments faster.
Easy to use, occasional app close outs or not wanting to connect
But overall, I’d still recommend this product. It isn’t annoying or bothersome to reconnect or deal with the minor issues especially at the price point of others and not needing to pay for a monthly subscription to extras
Great job on the app. It does what it says. It would be nice to be able to use the Share Sheet from other apps to send a label to the Munbyn app directly. I cannot get the Munbyn app to appear in the Share Sheet or Quick Actions menu, so I must save the label to files and then go into the Munbyn app. This would elevate the user experience a lot.
I would really love an all green laser system with the green stand I keep holding back on ordering the all white in hopes that a new color besides pink will be revealed. It is wishful thinking but I do have a feeling that something new will be posted. I bought a label machine all white and it works perfectly 🐻❄️
I have never had an issue with the app and I am working from my apple iPad so if you are having problems try uninstalling the application and then download it again. This might help you.
I love this app and label printer. Very user friendly and great print quality. I had a different label printer and it stop printing on me when I didn’t use it for over a month. I would totally recommend this brand to anyone looking for a thermal label printer.
I got the penguin label printer. This app was working fine for me up until now. Every time I get to the preview and hit print, the app crashes. I never had this issue until the latest update. Edit: The app works with the update, but now the phone says the printer is not supported.
Updated 1 W ago and now i am having increased issues using iphone app. I have a saved label. I add an additional text box yet cannot change the text, it defaults to change the already existing text box which i do not want changed. Very frustrating!!!
I have purchased numerous products and the product is amazing. I love these ease that I have by making my business as well as specialized stickers with Munbyn. Highly recommend
I wasted 10 labels trying to get this thing to print out exactly how I wanted it to and never could because the preview it shows before it prints isn’t accurate at all. Nothing is centered and it cuts off the beginning of your words unless you make the text so small you can barely read it. I wish there was a different app I could use.
I love this thermal printer; however, I have a lot of different templates that I’ve created. It would be awesome to have a search feature, instead of having to scroll through each time I need to locate a different template.
The app shows my round sticker label as being perfectly centered. But when I print it’s off center and cut off. Extremely disappointing, I have wasted 10 stickers already, and I cannot for the life of me get it centered. I have a $13 thermal printer from Temu that centers perfectly. This is ridiculous especially for what I paid. I’m very upset that this app isn’t printing centered when it clearly shows me it is before I print
WORST APP IN THE WORLD! I was so excited to get the printer but the app is just awful I took one hour to do my custom made labels just for the app to glinch & crash! Then when you get back on the app all your hard work is gone because it doesn’t save nothing you do. You have to automatically save it every time u make a change which is so annoying. Munbyn do better this is a waste of time & money!
This app has build in templates for labels that’s is quick and easy to use. It also allows me to create my own designs. It saved me tons of time and money to design. Highly recommended!!
I was easily able to print by labels for months by cropping them and printing the same size as my label. Now, when I rotate to fit the label it gets tiny. The app interface changed drastically. Nothing wants to work how it use to for me. When I put in custom size that doesn’t work ever. Very frustrating.
My printer won’t connect to my Windows computer. It claims it needs a password and the driver isn’t working correctly. The app worked for a few weeks until today. It won’t print at all. I know it’s the app because the test print works fine. Support hasn’t gotten back to me. I’ve tried the live chat, emailing, and messaging on Facebook as suggested by the test print.
I love my Munbyn! It’s so easy and fast. I clean it when I get the notification. The only concern I have is after a year of use the print is light. I’ve adjusted all the settings but it has not helped. Overall I am very happy.
My printer was working great, creating awesome labels that I could customize for my business. Now the image mode switch isn’t working and the stickers are unclear and look awful. I have the P130B and I’m using the pink 2x2 inch stickers from Munbyn. Please help! I love making these but now I feel it’s just a waste of my time
As long as you have a short word or phrase, the printing works perfectly. But if trying to change the font size for anything lengthy, there is no guide or instruction. It is hit or miss when changing the mm’s to fit the label space and mostly miss. I have wasted LOTS of labels getting it wrong.
More and more frequently I am unable to edit labels I create. It gets stuck in one text box display no matter which text box you choose to edit. I also am unable to save locally the number of labels I need to save so I have to edit existing labels.
I used to be able to use the app just fine but the most recent update does not allow me to upload files for printing which was the only way I used the app. If you are shopping for a printer you should look for other products that are more reliable.
No matter how many times I update the app and my printer when t I try to sync my Bluetooth it doesn’t work , when I look on my phone it always says turn printer on when it’s already on and I have a blue light . This means I can not use the app to make my circle stickers . Very disappointed !
I’m trying to print multiple shipping labels and it’s too much at once apparently. The app crashes. Extremely frustrating printing a single shipping label at a time. Then I have to restart the app and watch the random ad opening screen over and over. Absolutely horrible.
I water so much of my labels teying to get this app to lock my vertical text in place while printing. Everything looks fine then when I send the label to the printer, the app kicks the vertical text off frame and locks it there that I can’t even select it or edit it.
Every time I open this app there’s a update and they seem to make things worse!!! Currently it’s printing way off or absolutely nothing at all. My saved files are all just blank. The biggest costly piece of junk I’ve bought for my business!!!
I’m trying print labels off my phone but have screenshot and edit the label instead having the option just go to my files and edit it that way. I’m going end up returning the printer.
No matter how many times I kill the app, delet and reinstall the app, it won’t connect to my printer. It can’t even find the printer, it keeps searching and searching, nothing ever comes up. I was really hoping to use my phone to print stickers
Printer disconnects after printing a quarter of the label. It’s useless to try to print, & frustrating. I’m updated to the latest version, but this issue has persisted since for a few months now (before Christmas).
Your app is unresponsive when in settings and very slow. Having a hard time using it. Enjoy the idea of having a thermal printer. Have 100’s of things we need to make … but we can’t
I’m getting aggravated because the app can’t find the printer. I’ve done everything to try and see what’s happening but it comes down to the app. I’ve used 3 phones and an iPad and same thing.
This is arguably the worst printing app I have ever bared witness to, with each software update comes a new string of issues that causes you to waste stickers. I would say, more than half of everything I have printed has been trashed. Do yourself a favor, buy a better printer.
horrible printer and app and company in general. printer hasnt worked since ive gotten it, it only connects to my pc and not the app, and can print test pages fine but as soon as i print an actual label it prints 1/4 of it and then stops. i’ve probably wasted half the labels i bought trying to get it to work and its basically been collecting dust since i bought it bc no amount of fiddling with it will fix it. do yourself a favor and just get a different printer from another company
