Unreliable
As a previous nanny/sitter working in childcare I have worked through many services, and thus far Jovie has been the most disappointing. I’ll start by that if you want to apply to any position you need your own auto insurance as well as your own vehicle, any other reasonings other than showing isn’t acceptable and this is something that I felt I had to speak about. Reliable transportation to any job can be done without the use of your own vehicle, providing a job provides the means to be able to afford or get auto insurance in the future and build. Alongside this, the app in it of itself is very glitchy it’s not high quality or high speed with any of the information you need as a nanny/sitter before entering their home. You are thrown into a situation where you have to guess and take unreasonable chances and procedural steps. I hope this is read and acknowledged, be aware before signing.

Unreliable
There is no clear communication. Should I use the MEYERS or BALLA? Apparently in either part of the app no sitters can see my requests which leaves me scrambling at the last minute. There is also no cancel button so I have to go through the hassle of communicating and backing up with emails when I try and cancel and have been charged a few times for late fees for canceling late. Ultimately they get it taken care of but it has become such a hassle, and an unreliable way to find a sitter.

New app not any better
I’ve been a long term customer of this business, and they recently released a new app. The process to access the new app isn’t smooth, the password reset links don’t work, and the app is this business’ entry point to their customers. They truly need to address these issues on behalf of the talented team of employees that rely on it to generate business.

New updates made a difference
I’ve used this company’s services for over seven years and have seen their apps evolve during that time. The move to the My Jovie app started out with some challenges but the recent updates are resulting in a positive experience.

The thing I love about this company is not their app, it’s their people! All Sitters are employed by the company and are not just some random people with a profile. I feel as though they focus on their people, not tech. App is improving but still has a ways to go.

New app unusable
I've used and enjoyed MySitters. The new app is confusing to put it lightly. There's no way to view requests you've submitted or even to confirm that a submitted request went through. There's also no loner any way to update your profile- so I'm hoping my child's info is still correct. Please please please get some ux design support

App is absolutely garbage. Can’t even get signed in after changing my password multiple times. Can log into website, but that’s even worse. You guys need to get it together.

Garbage app
The new app is garbage. Resetting password doesn’t work and there’s no way to get support for the app if you can’t log in. Been getting the same error trying to log in since the new app was released. 👎
