All the other reviews are really old. I just had my loan transferred, first payment effective today, I registered online, and then added this app and logged in with no problem at all. Can see all of my loan info as well as all history. Multiple options for payment, and link to learn about your loan. Hasn’t crashed yet, and I’ve been in and out of it multiple times. 5-stars as of today’s date.
The App works and is functional yet I am not impressed by the UI and the overall design of it. There is certainly room for improvement and it’s slightly disappointing when compared to other finance-related apps like bank apps and others. For example, there was a notice today that ServiceMac had problems and autopay withdrawals were going to be late for several days. There was no announcement in the app. I found an announcement in the website about the issues they were facing, which makes me believe that the app needs either better integration with the website available data or better maintenance. I was also disappointed that there was no iPad app. I think this would be a great addition. The bigger screen would make it easier for users owning iPads to navigate accounts. Overall it is a good app, but lacking of more frequent and visible (user oriented) “continuous improvement”.
We recently did a refi and they set up the account through service Mac... downloaded the app and everything works fine. I read the negative reviews from over a year ago so was hesitant but they did fix any bugs. Setting up payment is cake I’m not sure what else you would expect from the app it’s pretty much just like a normal bank app.
When their website stopped loading, after trying multiple browsers the app worked like a charm to get our account paid. Easy to use and register our account
I am not sure what the other users were taking about. My online log in credentials worked just fine. The only issue I have run into so far was the “Document Center”. It keeps saying that there was an error loading some documents. Other than that, app works just fine. Very nice lay out and design. Also, very user friendly and super easy to use.
I Keep having issues trying to login to the app. I couldn’t even register my account on the app. I had to register my account on the website. When I tried logging into the app after registering on the website, the app told me to register. When I tried to register again with the app, it tells me I’m already registered. I reset my password and tried to login again but it won’t accept my new password. I met all the password requirements but the “Update” button is grayed out.
App on iPhone works perfectly fine and gets the job done. Recently switched to a google pixel 8 pro and am unable to download the app because it is outdated. Hopefully they fix this.
This app has not been working properly. Every time i try to open the app i get a prompt “sorry, something went wrong try again later.” Ive tried an hour, a week, even a month without checking and still the same malfunction. Ive had to delete and reinstall multiple times on iOS platform. I reinstalled and it work fine then tried to use the app the following day and same issue
If you have already registered on the website, this app is useless! If you try to register (again) for this app, you will receive an error message advising that an account already exists. Not sure if this is a simple fix, but merging the information would solve this issue. I hope this matter is resolved soon as it would streamline my payments and make things waaaay more easier.
App doesn’t work, can’t even login, when I try to login with my existing account, it tells me the app requires its own account, but when I try to register, it tells me the account is already there, runs around in loops, contacting customer and tech support didn’t help neither, please get rid of the app and stop wasting people’s time
My loan has been resold multiple times and this has been the worst experience by far. I always update the appt and still have consistent glitches. Called in 2-3 for help and the help has been great but then I try to log into the app and it doesn’t recognize my username/login. Wants me to re-register. Such a joke.
I use various financial apps including Bank Of America, Chase, AMEX, Citi, and etc. Recently my home loan was sold to Service Mac. I downloaded their app so I could manage my account like I did before with Chase. The ServiceMac App is the WORST financial app I have ever used. There are issues logging in, the user interface is worthless, and I’m now forced to do every from my computer via the Internet.
This company is trash. The app is trash. Everything about them is trash. They rarely if at all answer the phone and they take entirely too long to answer emails. I wish they never bought my mortgage. If I was selling in the next few months, I’d refinance with literally anyone else. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Try signing in with log in info and it prompts me to register. Tried to register and it tells me I already have an account. Tried to register and log in several more times and nothing works. Worthless app
I keep trying to get access to my account every month and I’m not able to sign in with the reset password so there is a problem with their system and they should be sued
Called the IT and they said the app doesn’t work and there is no estimated time that it will take to make it functional. Not sure why keep it available on the app store until its fixed
It will not let me make any type of payment. Once you click “make payment” a message comes up saying “The current date of your device is invalid. Please change it and try again.” It is literally a worthless app.
The app forced me to update my password, which eventually worked, but then it couldn’t accept my new password. Have to use the website to pay from now on. The app developer must be a total noob.
My mortgage was sold to this company, and from the start it has been the worst experience. Any time I try to log in on the website or the app, it’s a pain and a frustration.
i had signed up for auto pay money got taken out of my bank account.. i went on the app to make sure everything is ok and it's saying ima day past due? i then went on the browser on their website and saw that my payment had indeed been processed. long story short this app blows and got me very scared in the middle of a night as a first time home buyer.
Since Chase sold my account to them this is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! First I can’t make payments online. App is (supposedly) updated, but I still can’t log in with the App! It says I have an account, but I need to keep trying to log in.
This app won’t allow you to make a payment. Fix this! I’m sure some great web designer is sitting at home bored and needs a job. Have him fix this. Stupid app.
This app does not work with your ServiceMac/ Subservice to Lakeview Mortgage account. Go to my service.com. This app does not work anymore. If you call ServiceMac, they will tell you this.
