I’ve locked myself out of my online banking way too many times. The NFCU personnel who help me on the phone are always 5-star helpers. I am pleased they ask me every question pertinent to secure that I am who I say I am. They are courteous and patient and provide excellent customer service. What I hate to see happening is how impersonal transactions now such that one rarely even interacts with another person. A screen just isn’t the same, and that’s sad because the friendliness of personnel was always pleasant in this automated, impersonal world. We are continuing to bank in Zachary where all transitions are not complete. Upon entering it’s “Hello, Mr. ____! How are you today?” They’ve even asked about our grandson who is usually with us. Isn’t there some way to be safe and secure and face-to-face. Please reconsider!
Using this app is not as friendly as it used to be before you did your update there’s so much you need to go back and fix especially since some people use this app to conduct all forms of banking sometimes you should just leave things along the way they were or when you fix it make it better not worse
Don’t download this if you actually want to track your banking
The app is ALWAYS down. If you need to quickly transfer a few bucks from one account to the other you can forget about it. There is no reliability. And before the update the app used to tell you that it was a “login error” (meaning its your fault) now they’ve finally made an update where it out right tells you that the system is experiencing problems, well THE SYSTEM IS ALWAYS EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS. No it’s not a network error, your service is fine, the app LITERALLY WONT LOAD at times...or won’t sign you in, or won’t display your balance. I have to believe that their reviews on here are fabricated because I’m not the only one who experiences this with the NeighborsFCU app.
In many ways I have found this app to be even better than the big banks, it is a very simple no-frills app but it has always worked. Zelle is integrated within the app and allows instant fee-less transfer of money for Neighbors members. App has never crashed or failed to load on any of my devices. Great job Neighbors, my hats off to you for designing a great reliable app!
I have loved working with Neighbors more than any other Banking institution in my 78 years on the planet. More likely like 68 years of banking in Texas and Louisiana. You provide the best service and option. The people of NeighborsFCU are standout singular in professional, friendly, and quality service.
Every time I paid for something, it would show up instantly. You know, since it’s an app where I can access my INSTANT BALANCE. Lately, it can be hours or a even days later that I paid for something shows up. It does not even show pending anymore like it used to. It completely does not let me know how much money I have accurately. I’ve had to be embarrassed with my card declined twice because I thought I had more money than I actually had. This app was fine, I have no clue what happened and why this is happening to me now.
I have deposited checks through the app before and it worked just fine. Now when I try to deposit a check I keep getting an error “your session has timed out”. I click deposit. I take a picture of the check, front and back. I enter in the amount of the check. I click submit and I get that error. I’m not pausing for any length of time to cause that error. Can you please fix this.
I will never go through this company ever again to purchase a car. The online and mobile app has been giving me trouble all morning. Never again with these credit unions. I already refinanced through Capital One and just waiting for them to receive the check. I could not be happier with Capital One’s mobile app. Don’t finance cars through Neighbors. Pay the extra $20 a month for a real bank to keep your sanity.
I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and have ALWAYS had the best experience banking here. I have recommended this credit union to all of my family and friends. Many of them now have accounts with Neighbors.
I have done banking in lots of places, and tried out services at lots of different banks and credit unions, and up to this point I can say that none compares with the outstanding service that we get at Neighbors Federal Credit Union. Good Neighbors!
The new update that made it impossible to view your finances for three days, is the most horrendous thing I’ve seen on any mobile financial app. They now have an ad at the top of the accounts screen about refinancing. The area where you can see past and pending charges and deposits is messy and hard to read. There was no issue with the previous format and I’m heavily disappointed with what this new option is, will probably switch banks at this point.
I love being able to deposit my check by just taking a picture of it as soon as I get it it’s great and I don’t have to wait until I get off and have to get a ride to the Bank thanks
I love the Neighbor’s App. It is easy to use, powerful and kept up to date! Two weeks ago the fraud detection system worked for me by detecting a fraudulent website that I was about to use that looked legit… IT WASN’T Great catch NFCU! Jay
I have banked with several banks and credit unions, but Neighbors has perfected the true definition of online banking. Navigation of the app is so nice and easy!
I love how easy it as to set up accounts, get customer secure when needed and hospitality at my local branch. Should have switched a long time ago. NFCU is THE BEST
An upgrade of the app is definitely needed. we should be able to where the transaction came from we also should get notification as soon as the transaction has gone through not get it later. I hope whoever is over the app sees this and upgrade this app!!!!

recurring logon issue. Would give it 4 or 5 stars if I could use it at will, but it is very limited due to recurring problems with logging on. I can log on to the website with no problems, so what’s up with the app. Neighbors needs to decide whether or not an app is a good fit for them. In essence, fix it or can it.

Can't get into my account and it's been weeks, and the only time I can go and ask the bank to lock me back in is lunch and I'm not giving up the only time I can eat for an app failure. Leave people logged in don't auto lock them out
Apps for financial institutions should be reliable. This one is the exact opposite. Consistently down, functions often not working, and there’s nothing the staff can do when you call (and usually, the app is malfunctioning during times they aren’t). Don’t use their app if you can avoid it.
