I rarely leave negative reviews but making an exception here. Mobile deposit is one of 2 features I use routinely on the app. It has been broken for iPhones over 3 months. Only answer you can get when you call is ‘they are aware and are working on it. No date available as to when it will work‘. After 3 months it is time to find another vendor.
Don’t waste your time banking here. There was a time when this was a good place to work with. Now customer service and personal relationships are a thing of the past. Tellers are clueless and the customer help line is worse than that. My email and phone number recently changed, impossible to get anyone who knows how to solve the issue. After trips to my local CU and multiple calls to the help line I still can’t bank online. We finally got the app to work but not the website. When I asked what we needed to do now she said “ I don no, I guess it might start workin tomorrow, at les yo app be working now.” I can’t take anymore. I’m done.
I have a secure feeling with New Horizons. I do have one problem because the branch in Bay Minette has been closed down so I have to drive a longer distance to make my deposits.
Love the online app. Paying bills, transferring funds and keeping up with you account in general is a breeze, but the main drawback is you cannot edit payment series online using your phone or tablet. Otherwise it’s great.
I’ve been a member of Scott Credit Union-New Horizon Credit Union for approximately 50 years. Staff has always been polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I have not received this consideration from any other company. Norma Eubanks
It’s pathetic that a company can’t simply have there mobile app working at least half way! This is the reason we’ve switched to Pen Air. New Horizons is getting so out of date and behind in the times it’s pathetic! The only use I get from this app is the account balances and that’s it. The mobile deposit doesn’t work at all. Garbage app
Now that the app don’t work now everything about new horizons trash, time to switch up finally. I can’t get small loans from these people when they see I got the money and now the app don’t work, no reason to stay
No excuse for a simple app not to work efficiently and smoothly in this day and age. Your app is trash, your site is trash -- both hardly ever work. I'm probably going to switch banks because of this; I've given y'all YEARS to get it together. You should be ashamed.
Still uses thumb print technology, which the home button doesn’t exist on the newer model iPhones (XR is what I have). Also, having issue with mobile deposit.
New Horizons CU needs to add support for Apple Pay. I cannot add my NHCU debit card to my Apple Pay wallet. Someone at New Horizons needs to make this happen soon.
It's convenient, but it should at least show the current balance an the available balance. Also, it would be helpful if it would show the balance after each transaction.
The Tellers are great ladies. Go above and beyond to try and satisfy customers. Management however doesn't know the banks own policies. Agrees to things that policies contradicts especially in Tillmans Corner, AL branch.
I use to love this app it was very helpful with keeping tabs on my finances but this error has been showing for a month now please fix!! I need this app
I’m so glad this isn’t my only option for a credit union everything is outdated and I am pretty sure they engage in discrimination in the community they promised to help. Oh and your not a solution for the real world, your the problem.
