This app has always been stellar. Super useful and user-friendly, absolutely needed to help make the Fest that much more fun. This year the bios for all the bands aren’t loading when using the app. This isn’t a deal killer just a big annoyance for an otherwise great app. Is this big being worked on? Edit: real time usage on Friday, the scrolling feature as bands’ set times would tick off doesn’t work anymore. Additionally, everything is off by an hour at least. Just got a notification that Moses Sumney was playing the Harbor Stage at about 4:25. His set ended a while ago and Rachel and Vilray was already more than halfway through their own set.
I saw so many people using this app over the weekend. I really like the countdown until an artist was scheduled to begin their set...very useful. It loaded quickly and had beautiful graphics. The notifications and news sections seemed somewhat redundant but all in all a very good app that went above and beyond my expectations.
Time within the app is broken, it often thinks an act starts in the future that has already finished. Alerts about artist arrive hours after act has finished. Maybe this was caused by bad connection to the cellphone network? With the number of the people at the festival I would expect the app to work better offline. I would be better off with a pdf of the schedule saved to my phone, but that isn’t an option.
Yay, no more paper schedules! This app is awesome and has everything a festival go-er needs: easy to read band schedule, artist info, venue map and the ability to customize your own schedule. You guys definitely know what you are doing, great job! Now if it could only pre-order me a beer :)
Had a great experience with the app in 2018, so I can’t give a lower rating. However, I’ve downloaded and re-downloaded the 2019 app several times but none of the artist names or times are loading. Happy to change my stars if there’s a fix for me.
Clear, elegant, useful. And social. Schedule making and map are fine and the artist bios, news, and twitter feeds make for a fine package. Like being there before you're there.
I updated my app earlier this week to update to the 2019 schedule. Today I got a push notification to update one more time to fix bugs. Now the app keeps crashing and I can’t open it to access set lists or band information. The folk festival is tomorrow and I can’t use the app. How disappointing. 🙁
The app looks great and for the most part is fully functional. However, it does not seem to save "My Schedule" if the app is closed or if the device is rebooted. Would be five stars if "My Schedule" was retained.
This app is a great enhancement to the festival with a great design and lots of useful info. It has allowed me to plan my time and plot my course to the beer tents between acts!
Love this app! Simple, looks good, easy to navigate & has all you need! I love the calendar feature that appears when you turn your phone horizontally. Really nice to see how bands line up by stage & time! Also love that the bottom of the bands summary has a play button that links to a YouTube song of theirs! I'll definitely be using that button to check out the bands on my day!
After the update, the app is completely useless. It crashes every time I try to open it and I can’t get past the instructions phase to actually access any information.
