Before someone can hack money out of my account Nicholet Bank stops them. I couldn’t be happier with this bank and will NEVER change..I cannot thank them enough for watching out for us older folks. It lets us sleep better at night.
Love the app. Makes life super convenient as I don’t have a branch too close to our business. Two ideas for an “even better” app: (for developers). 1) would love to be able to accept Canadian checks on the app; as of now, that’s the only reason I need to go to the bank 2) sometimes my checks aren’t deposited because I need to click that last “deposit now” button what feels like too many times. If that process could be a little smoother/faster, (less clicks) that would help me make sure all the checks get deposited the first time I go through the process. (I end up having to go back and confirm which checks are pending.).
Before Nicolet bought our bank, I was able to put account information on a memo line when paying a bill. I was also able to leave a memo for me about the payment. I would love to see at least the memo line on the check available again! I do like using the online bill pay, but the lack of the memo line is a little bit of a problem. I know that some people will say to just put the account number in the biller’s information. However, I have some situations where the number I need to include is different every time.
Mobile deposits did not work and no notification saying they didn’t. Only received one email saying that one didn’t work resulting in overdrafts. Went to the bank to make deposits of these checks and the CSR told me that another one I thought had deposited never did either and that “we have a lot of issues with that app”. Her words. I liked the format of the app and the idea that I could do everything from my phone but definitely not the case. I will be deleting the app since it’s not reliable.
I’ve gotten by with my iPhone 5S. Your new and improved app requires IOS13, which my phone doesn’t have. I was anticipating relying on my phone after my local branch closes, but now I can’t access the mobile app. Thanks for nothing.
I’m still getting by just fine with an iPhone 6, and this latest app version requires ios13, which is not available to iPhone 6 users. I just moved to a rural location and can no longer deposit checks without driving into town. Please include usage for iOS 12 users who done go out and buy the newest phone every year.
Unless you are using the app during normal business hours in the same time zone as Nicolet’s offices, don’t bother. It frequently fails to log you in and exhibits other instabilities. The only alerts I’ve ever received is when this app refuses to let me log in! Might as well live in the 1960s since i have to use snail mail to deposit hard copy checks!
App works great. Presentation is great and it supports Face ID on the new iPhone X. The only issue I have is that it is not optimized for the iPhone X yet meaning it doesn’t take up the whole screen. I would like to see that! Thanks for the app!
I do love online banking, however with this latest update I can no longer track my debit card along with my husbands. I was told he would need to create his own account to track and that is truly inconvenient. Tried to set up for him and it would not allow. Joint account should allow 1 profile on app to track all debit/credit cards
Yes you can track your checks and debits. You can pay your mortgage payment from your checking. BUT you can' t make a credit card payment using the internal transfer. It's very annoying!
Love having this, but needs some bug fixes. I update it all the time, but the majorly of the time I try to do something on the app, or simply log in, it says to contact customer support and the app won’t work.
Latest version keeps reporting after a minute a or two that I don’t have a network connection when I have already logged in and was using the app. Seems to only happen on WiFi - on cell it works without the error. This is a new issue - didn’t happen with prior version.
No matter how many times I log into my account and select Face ID in the settings... next time I try to log in, the app says I don’t have Face ID set up yet. Also, activity older than 2 months doesn’t show up. An app like this should show up to a year’s worth of activity. Otherwise, what good is it for someone with a savings account?
they must have fixed some of the glitches, doesn’t have problems quite as much hence the 2 stars instead of 1. the app really knows when i absolutely need to check my balance and then it doesn’t work. i took a screen shot but don’t see a way to load the pic. but yeah- seriously like clockwork!!! debating switching banks because of the app and other reasons dealing with the bank.
App is completely down won’t even open up to the sign on screen. Keeps saying I have not connection... however, I have a connection all my other web based applications work. This app has never worked right horrible!!!
After every couple months the app stops working and asks for my password as opposed to fingerprint. The password never works again. I’ve had it reset several times only one more time and I find a better institution
I can’t believe how little this app has improved over the years. Mobile deposit is marginally better but it’s still extremely fussy. If it arbitrarily doesn’t like the photo of the reverse side of the check it forgets everything and you have to start over. Today’s new layer of awfulness may drive me to change banks. Now, not only do I need a verification code sent to me at login, but it’s sent to me via a PHONE CALL I HAVE TO WAIT 2 MINUTES FOR INSTEAD OF VIA TEXT. This is an absolutely insane choice that makes the app utterly unusable. I’d give this service negative seven stars if I could. Complete garbage.
