I’ve been with Norway Bank for years and have been using the app as long as it’s been available. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be working any more. I keep getting “ you do not have network connectivity” message. I do have Wi-Fi, every other app I have works. I’ve called the bank and all I get is “we are aware” and “ use your browser” well, it’s very time consuming logging in via browser on a phone. It’s been over a month and no fix.
Update: it's been 7 months, this app is still as useless as it was. The bill pay site is just as bad. I'll be looking into refinancing my asset just to get away from NSB, in fact I would pay more with higher interest to GET AWAY FROM NSB right now and their inability to catch up to 2021 since they are obviously content with banking in the 1990's, the app was just a desperate attempt to appear modern. I don't bank with NSB I financed my boat through them, the app shows my balance... And that's it. It does not allow me to make a payment I have to log into a completely different site to make a payment. So after spending an hour setting up the app to find out it's basically useless I spent another hour setting up an account on the bill pay site that is clunky and won't let me log in half the time.
Your new update require OS 13. My iPad is 12.5 and says I’m up to date. I bet a pop up saying I can update to the previous update but when I click update it just goes back to the message that I need 13, but I can update a previous one. So now I can’t access my account via my iPad. I can’t upgrade my ipad to OS13 because it’s not available yet. Not a happy customer!
I’ve had this app for a few years now and it has definitely been convenient. It’s easy to move money between accounts and check balances etc. I gave the app 3 stars because lately I’ve had to delete and then re-install the app multiple times because the TouchID keeps breaking.
ever since the latest update 3 weeks ago, I’ve been having trouble logging on through the app. I have to go to the website in order to log on and bring up my account information. When I click on the app it just shows the page but won’t open it so I can get to the login screen. Very frustrating when I’m in a hurry to see my current balances
I’ve been using this app for a number of years. It remains glitchy. Often times when I am making a mobile deposit the app just crashes and I have to go through the whole process again. It also constantly turns off my stored Touch ID which is pretty annoying. I feel like it really should be better than it is…
I’m not going to be forced to buy a new phone just because my iPhone 6 is now obsolete for the banking app. The update clearly says I can use the older version BUT OF COURSE THAT IS NOT TRUE. Thanks for making things difficult and annoying... NONE of my other bank apps are giving me this trouble so I will move my business over to one of them.
I recently made a bank account. I was excited about “enrolling” and being able to see and manage my accounts from my phone. Every time I tried to “enroll” it would kick me out of the app. I have attempted to do so about maybe 20 times. This is really disappointing.
This is hands down the most unreliable app I have ever used. I’ve been a Norway member since 2009, and I hope I never find myself in a situation where I have to rely solely on this app for access to my accounts. Wether it’s simply loading the log in page, or loading my accounts (if I am lucky enough that the log in page loaded) this app fails more than half the time, on my iPhone X. I am at my wits end with this app.
The app is fine. But I thought I was supposed to be able to deposit a check on the app. I can’t figure out how to do that, there is no clear way to deposit a check. Someone please help me or Norway Savings Bank- fix this issue please!
I’ve been using Norway savings bank app for years with no problems. Recently myself and other family members can never get into the app. It kicks you out of the app or says no connectivity. It started a few weeks ago.
Used to be excellent. For over a month now it has not worked. IT department is well aware but evidently can't get it fixed. This plus other events makes you think Norway Savings needs to catch up with modern day online banking.
I like this app, really helpful and handy when I am not at my iPad, computer or a nearby Norway Savings Bank. But this app tends to crash and have system problems, it will be great to have a new update to fix bugs on the app.
I am a student outta state of Maine so when I need to deposit checks into my account I use this app....when it works. However it always seem to be "down" or "down for maintenance" whenever I need to deposit a check or see if I have enough money in my account to pay my bills. I live several hours away from my home in Maine as I go to school outta state and this app always crashing and not working is extremely stressful and inconvenient as I cannot just "run up to then bank" anymore.
This most recent update made this app as good as all the competitors apps were 3 years ago. First, get on board with Touch ID. Then get rid of those security questions that randomly pop up. Then get a good working deposit function. Then allow me to make administrative changes to my account from the app.
I swear almost every time i want to open the app and do anything more the. “Quick view” my assets, the servers are down and you’re unable to log in with you’re info. And its also down on their web page. It’s annoying, if not for the fact they don’t fee you out the butt I probably would have switched banks by now.
This app is supposed to support mobile deposits. But there's no icon/button for deposits in v4.7.153. When I call the wonderful folks at Norway Savings, they've never heard of such a thing! Hope the developersat FISERV will fix this -- the ability to make online deposits is the reason I downloaded the app!
Barely works for me. If it loads at all past the "confirming your identity" it proceeds to tell me my username and password do not work. This app is a headache, with no other way to check my account when mobile I am highly disappointed. 0 stars if I could.
