The tellers at my local branch greet me by my first name when I come in to make transactions and that’s pretty impressive considering the number of people they see in the course of a day. It took a while to get used to the new app but it works well. I like that they pay interest on checking and the low interest rates on my credit card compared to other banks, and good CD rates when they have specials. I’ve received good customer service for the most part but some of the staff aren’t very knowledgeable regarding even the simplest IRA transactions. They require an appointment and then you go in and sit there while they figure things out. That has recently been switched from the investment banking side, and the staff needs more training. My only recent negative experience was someone at the branch trying to upsell me on a protection plan for my credit card. They sell other products such as payday loans that are questionable and counterintuitive to promoting fiscal responsibility. I’ve banked elsewhere temporarily but didn’t stay away very long because they’re a good fit for me, but as they’ve gotten bigger over the years, it is run more like a corporation instead of a banking institution.
This app is really great and I love banking with Numerica especially after I had many problems with STCU and got hacked 10 times when I was with STCU so far no jacks with Numerica 🤞🏻. But I am having one issue within the app that has been happening since I started banking with numerica about 2 years ago, when I try to access the side menu when I can go to estatements, settings, and so on, every time I try to access that menu it closes me out of the application immediately so I can never look at my estatements or change my settings and then when I try to log on to the actual website and try to access the side menu there it doesn’t even load up and this has been going on for the last 2 years and it’s getting kind of frustrating and you’d think with all of the updates your IT department does to this app they would have caught this by now. PLEASE FIX IT!!! I WOULD LIKE YO ACCESS MORE IN MY ACCOUNT THAN JUST MY DASHBOARD AND ACCOUNTS PAGES!!!
It’s always hard to adjust to change at first, but once I learned how much more the app allows you to do.. I love it! There are a few bugs that I hope is worked out soon like it seems to not always load regularly. Other than that.. I like it!
Numerica credit union rates very high in my opinion after having dealt with traditional banks for 79 years. I opened my first bank account when I was 10 years old. The people who work for Numerica make it clear that they work for us, as members of the credit union, and they are helpful with whatever we need to accomplish. Since it is a not for profit business we will be told if there is a better deal available than the one we have been looking at. Online banking with Numerica is so far above what I’ve experienced with traditional banks. A bank told me that money transferred from a savings account to a checking account would take three days to be available for writing a check. With Numerica the transfer is instant, right before my eyes, and I can write a check on money that I’ve saved ahead of time immediately with Numerica. All this said, one must remember it is a business and that we, the depositing members, a humanChristianare human beings, people who work at Numerica are human beings, and the board members who make decisions for the credit union are human beings. Considering the human element I believe NUMERICA CREDIT UNION is doing a great job. I gave them five stars.
Previous app worked, but it was kind of old looking and bland. New facelift looks way nicer, fits their brand colors. I like that I can customize to what my dashboard/home screen to display. Setting up transfers are easy. My favorite thing about the new app is it will save info of someone you've transferred money to (I regularly send money to someone each week, but the amounts vary so I can't really do a fixed scheduled amount). Just need to add their info one time and they show up in your list of people you've transferred to every time after that!
I love working with Numerica because of the people. The system, the new system is the worst. And shame on Numerica for putting it out and not having their people trained on how to get you get into your system when it doesn’t work. They can’t help you, they have to study to figure it out and then maybe call you back. Not their fault ,they weren’t trained. The categories are the worst, and running a business you can’t use the banking system because you can’t put the categories , like we use to be able to. It takes something to learn.
Numerica has been my bank since the 1970, when we moved here to teach.. They have never failed me. They have people there who will help you, no matter what kind of a mess you have made of your account and checkbook! Even during the Covid pandemic, they were so organized that it took only minutes to get to the end of a long line. And get ALL I needed done. The new app update is terrible. The interface is poorly done. Having to slide to see all accounts? When before they were all just right there… But before that I couldn’t for the life of me sign in with my correct password. It was 100% correct. When I went to change it, there was an option for existing credentials which confirmed my password was correct. Maybe due to a need for a special character? Very frustrating. Basically the app is messy and complicated now, don’t fix what’s not broke.
I hate the new app. It’s horrible. Maybe 25% of the time I am able to get into my account with it. The other 75% of the time when I try to access it I get a blank screen. I try turning off my phone, and still get the same thing. When it does work the first thing that happens is I’m asked if I want to update my email, I’ve done it twice and the question won’t go away. Honestly though, I just want to look at my account. I had no issues with any of this before the software update this summer. I like banking with Numerica, but they’ve made some bone headed decisions this year, the new software and the decision to drop shared branching along them
While there were some challenges when this app was new, it’s definitely better than the previous version. I love that I can see all my accounts with one login, instead of needing multiple logins. I can also do multiple transfers at once instead of one at a time. Stuff I rely on, like mobile deposit and bill-pay are still there.
I have a love-hate relationship with this new app. On one hand, there are some features that I really like. Overall, however, the app is slow, buggy and generally frustrating to use. And don’t get me started on the issues with the mobile deposit system not being able to read the amounts off of checks. It’s so upsetting, especially when there’s something you need to deposit right away. Even the website is glitchy as well. Pfft. 😑
I didn’t appreciate the switch from shared branching to the app for deposits but I lived with it. However, this new version is unworkable. The app operates very, very slowly. Most importantly, it rejects my UN and pwd, leaving me with no way to bank (again due to the loss of shared branching). When I called support I was disconnected. When I called again I was on hold for 10 minutes. While waiting (longer than I ever recall waiting) I read many reviews from frustrated customers who had been on hold even longer than me, with no success. I hung up as I realized it’s finally time to shop for another bank.

Have been using Numerica for year. Do all my bill pay and deposit thru the app and even when I spent 6 years in Georgia where there was no branch I never needed to even think about another bank. Any issues or questions the customer service helped with and always so kind and professionally
I love my credit union; however the mobile banking is so terrible that I might just switch. I’ve always had issues logging in. With the latest update I can’t log in and when I try to retrieve my password/username, it tells me that my social and birthdate don’t match their records. Now I’m terrified that my account has been hacked. I sat on hold for 45 minutes with no luck. Now the banks are closed too, so I can’t even contact the physical bank to ensure that I still have what I should have in my account. I don’t feel like my information is very secure on this app.
I have been a member since 1985 and I’ve never had a negative experience either online or in a branch. I do a lot online and with the app. It always works perfectly. When I go into a branch for anything, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t know of any way to improve the service at Numerica.
I received zero notification that I'd be needing to delete my Numerica app, download the whole new app, and set up a whole new account for it to work. Very poor planning. The new app is overwhelming. WAY too much going on. I loved the simple and clean look of the old app. Had everything I needed, not a jumble of features that were just thrown together like somebody put no thought into the design. And don't even get me started about how ONE DAY into getting the new app, I haven't been able to access my banking account for over 12 hours. Very poor decision, Numerica.
Numerica has been our “bank” for many years. We would never think of switching. Have always been treated extremely kind and helpful whether on the phone or in person. We recommend this credit union to all our friends and family.
The new revised version took a few days to get used to, however, I do love the new look/changes, not all banks/ credit unions offer online banking, so I am most pleased that numerica does, it’s easy, quick, and so very convenient, thank you numerica, I’m so happy to be a proud customer for over 10 + Years

After some frustration during the initial rollout of the app, I’m really liking the new features and layout. I love how it works with my Apple Watch and the overall look and functionality is way better than the previous version.
I do t usually take the time to leave reviews but man this app is so terrible. And what’s frustrating is I called customer service and the guy pretended like I was the only one that’s had any problems, when after reading these reviews I am clearly not the only one. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app several times. It’s ridiculous... even your website through my regular web browser doesn’t work. I love this credit Union but I’m considering going elsewhere because your Mobil banking is so terrible.
I’ve had several accounts at many banks for some reason Numerica is the best I’ve personally used. The customer service is always on point and they cash my work (Cannabis Industry) checks with no issues. If you’re on the fence about Numerica I hope this helps. 10/10
I got two fees because of a negative balance due to a bill… I called and they removed the fees with no problems (: Caroline was so sweet and nice on the phone which made me feel comfortable and valued. This made my week!! With what I was going through that day, this really made me happy. Love you all !!
I love the new Numerica app. It makes it easy to see at a glance all of my accounts and where they stand. Easy transfers! I would like to see bill pay as a quick tab and whether I have met the requirements for bonus checking.
After I got logged in I’ve come to realize the app is way better than the old one. Obviously it’s a little different so you got to get used to it. But the new system is way more intuitive and the new features are great.
Since the new update, I can’t even get the app to work on my phone. I know I have an older model, but it should still at least work. Also, I don’t remember there being any notice that we’d have to re-register for mobile banking after the system update. It wasn’t a difficult process, but some warning would have been nice. My husband and I were worried for a second that we’d forgotten our password or been locked out of our account.
Was really frustrating not being able to get into my account after the update, but with everything fixed and having been adjusted to the new layout, I can say this app is back to being reliable and great👍🏻
I am so excited that all of my accounts are visible to me with one login - this makes everything easier for me with a one stop shop. I love how Numerica is always looking for ways to improve the member experience. Thank you!!!
Love the new layout and features for the app. It looks like there were a few bugs getting started (took me a minute to realize I had to register for a new account) but once I got in, it was great! Great customer support to get me going.
Needed upgrade has a lot of new options and is easier to use than previous app. It takes a bit to learn navigating the new app but once you do, it’s a definite yes from me. FYI, I do work for Numerica so I might be a wee bit biased.
The app itself is functional. But the lay out of the main page is just awful. You can only view one balance at a time and have to swipe between all your accounts. Seems like it would be obvious that the layout of the main page is terrible. I would change my mind if they improved the layout.
It does most of the stuff I need it to just fine - view transactions, make transfers, that kind of thing. Mobile check deposit rarely works though. Even with a printed check 99% of the time I get a error that the amounts don’t match. Very inconvenient since the closest branch is a 30+ minute drive for me.
This app is so confusing to use. Why would a credit union make giving them money so difficult? It’s frustrating. Customer support is awful too. It’s like no one knows how to add a debit card or bank account to make a payment on your loan. If you want to apply any money towards the principle of your loan you have to call. Any other bank or credit union ive used gives you the option in the app to do this
Love how much this app can do! Sure there were some technical difficulties but they have been resolved! Change is hard so most would rather complain than learn and move on. Thanks for the great new app!
For the most part, I’ve found the app easy to work with. My only problem I have is that some times the app won’t open with Face ID. Other than that it’s good.
I used to love my user friendly banking app. It did everything I needed it to do for basic banking. This new version took me days to figure out how to sign in to and still asks me odd security questions and sends me weird codes. And now it’s been down for who knows how long for maintenance!!! It’s maddening!!! I shouldn’t have to drive all the way to the bank just to see my account balance. Get it together numerica!!
Yesterday they have updated the app once again. The interface is still the exact same as before after claimed “Enhancements and bug fixes.” I was really hoping for it to work again after checking the App Store everyday for updates, however it still remains the exact same and has the same remaining problems.
Always have a great experience with Numerica. We have been a long term customer and feel very welcomed when we call or go into a Numerica Branch! Best Customer Service!
I feel like the new web site is not as good as the old one. Bill pay needs to be more prominent, rather than having to search for it. I don’t like that my husband and I need different logins to see our credit and debit cards.
The app is great. Very user friendly and 21st century. I appreciate Numerica updating their system to protect me and my money. I especially love the convenience of paying my family members within the bank.
Nothing but problems since this update. I can’t access bill pay and my mortgage account has disappeared on mobile and desk top version. Now numerica doesn’t believe that I’m actually on a mortgage even with loan documents to prove it. Customer service by phone and in person has been horrible. When did Numerica quit caring about it’s members? So disappointed.
It’s been over a week since the new update and I still cannot access bill pay or my accounts on a desktop. Their solution is to just use the app for now (for multiple business account) and wait on hold for 40+ minutes to have someone manually make my bill payments?
Numerica has b be even my go to for 40+ years! I have never been disappointed with any of the services. The customer service is super. Thank you Numerica!

This new update is fantastic! Really makes Numerica seem like a national sized bank! Of course bugs will need to be worked out but overall I’m very happy!
I can’t even sign up on my account after the new update. I can’t even login or sign up on the desktop version either. I can’t even sign up on the desktop version of my bank account. It’s ridiculous. I call & try to use the automated system to get my balance & it won’t let me! I’m fed up with this. I deleted the app completely!
It won’t open. I’ve been on hold with the credit union for 40 mins currently. This is the worst app update digital banking I’ve ever used. We will be leaving this credit Union soon all because of this crappy switch over. The other app and digital banking worked great and was easy to use.
So very frustrated. Every time I’ve attempted to renew my faith in this establishment’s mobile ability I am disappointed. Any time there are ‘new & improved updates’, I give the app another shot and I’m always disappointed. I will be very glad when my auto loan is paid off - no more Numerica for me.
