So easy!

I have been parking in Boston for decades & I always used to have to keep so many quarters in my car- sometimes I’d forget & what a pain in the neck that was! Parking in this city is tough enough without having to remember to have CHANGE. It really streamlines the process & lets me get to where I’m going that much faster- I really enjoy it! Yay technology!

Happy to stay inside

This is great! I couldn’t believe you could do this till I traveled east! My only complaint is you can only do it once during the day and then you have to park in a new zone or feed the meter. Other than that the app is super easy to use and I have no problems with it at all.

Bug in app - paid for parking then Ticketed

The old version of the app works for me, the new version seems to have a bug. I paid for parking this evening and while the session was active, it first looked totally fine in the app. Now the session has ended and it is not showing up in my history. I got a ticket for the parking session, even though I can see that my credit card was charged for parking in the app. I am disappointed that I now have to argue the ticket, when whole point of app is convenience and now I’ll need to go through the inconvenience of fighting it.

Excellent don’t worry about quarters

This app is extremely useful. So many times I had to park at a meter and didn’t have any quarters. It’s hard to find a place to give you quarters unless you are buying something. This app makes it so you never have to worry about having quarters again. I love it

Very Convenient

This app is very convenient especially because in this day and age everything is becoming more digital. Additionally, in a busy city it is easier to just pay from your car instead of finding the meter.

Misleading

generally the app works fine. Allows you to pay for parking from your phone. But it seems on a Sunday, in a zone that is free on Sundays, it would let me pay to park, even though that isn’t legally required. That seems a bit unethical. I get that disabling the whole app on Sunday can’t be done since some zones are still in effect, but that’s something that even a semi-competent programmer could have accounted for.

Great upgrades

The app is great and convenient with the new upgrades. But can’t help with Boston’s parking issues. I’m a resident in the North Station Neighbourhood. Those streets are full with people who don't care about getting a parking ticket for an event or game. You are forced to take the expensive (minimum $420) monthly parking.

Very Helpful Boston Parking App!

As parking is difficult in Boston, at least the ParkBoston app makes it a touch easier. It is very user friendly and straight forward. Just be sure to enter your license plate with no spaces, Letters and numbers together!

The app worked fine for me for parking but there are a few problems I ran into 1) I used “sign in with Apple” feature on the app. However, their website do not have that feature and there is no way for me to login to my account from my computer. 2) I am not receiving email receipt. I needed them for reimbursement.

App not working correctly

I paid for an hour and a half and it took my money just fine and showed a timer on my phone face. When I get back to my car, I received a ticket yet. The timer still had minutes left. I checked the app, and there was no history of my parking yet I was charged and have proof of charge. it took another hour to dispute the app. Now I’m waiting to see if my ticket gets removed. What a pain in the app!

Need more distinct buttons

It would be nice if the button to confirm zone selection and the button to confirm duration selection were of a contrasting color to the rest of the screen. As they currently are, they are white and blend in too much with the other things on the screen. Other than that, great app!

History randomly disappears

Had more than half of my September transactions disappear, now same thing happened with February transaction. At least 10 out of 20 transactions are gone from the history (something that would be handy for reimbursement or if you had to prove that you’ve paid through the app) but still show up on my bank statement. Big downgrade from the previous app

Scammed

I paid for 2 hours parking, my card was definitely charged. I got a ticket about an hour and a half into my session, even though I still had 30 minutes left. I went to dispute the ticket using my history, only to find this terrible scam app hasn’t been saving my history and the only instances saved are from 3+ months ago, even though I’ve been using the app regularly. Too easy

So easy to use, we’ve been missing an app like this for a while. Solves a city wide problem. Can pay for parking while I’m walking to my meeting

App is fine.

Why is there a convenience fee, if anything this app saves Boston money. If everyone used this no coins would need to be collected, hence convenient for saving money not having to pay a person to retrieve payment. (Non related, how does Boston double fines for commercial parking, but not allow more time to park at commercial spots. More of a fine but more time to park.)

Bu bye dirty quarters

So convenient to have your phone telling you where and when your parking is about to expire! Haven’t gotten a ticket since these systems came along.

Great when it works

Convenient, EXCEPT when it (often) asks for additional credit card, doesn’t give option to make payment, offers no guidance to why it is not completing transaction, has trouble connecting when phone has 5 bars, etc. Not ready for prime time.

Easy to use, shows a nice timer on my iPhone Lock Screen, easy way to find my car (attached to map apps). Great work!

Adore the New Tile

Have to mention the new tile. My favorite Apple tile ever! Adorable. I’ve also never had an issue with this app and have been using it for years.

Street sign post zone is different from the app

I am in Boston and the sign post says it’s zone 608. I went ahead and tried to park and searched for the zone #608 but couldn’t find it. I went back on the app using the map and located my car. The zone on the app says 607. What the heck?

Did I just lose all my prepaid $?

Did the City of Boston not realize that switching to a new vendor, ParkMobile, would mean that customers would lose all of their prepaid $ from the previous vendor? My money is nowhere to be seen. Hundreds of dollars of funds that didn’t migrate over. They need to address this ASAP.

Just pay the meter

The app is so clunky, requires so many steps, does not display payment confirmation properly (you get an email) when using Apple Pay, it approaches useless. So many other apps do the same thing better… it’s faster to just pay the parking meter.

Where is my pre-paid money?

The previous vendor required me to constantly charge $10 in the account in order to pay with the app. Now this app got taken over by new vendor, where is my pre- paid money?

Doesn't work

Deleted all my vehicles and now won’t let me add them

The app is terrible. It’s slow, clunky and deleted all my vehicles. As I’m trying to add and save them, I receive an error message. What a joke

This App a scam

Avoid at all costs…it is cheaper to use coins in the meter…They put a limit of 1 hour parking maximum 1 hour before 8pm…this doesn’t apply when using coins in the meter.
