The app works well. Its a smooth transition from page to page and everything is pretty clear and easy to use. However, I’m not sure if they just don’t have many trips available right now but the app continuously told me there were no trips available for my selection after selecting multiple different destinations as well as changing the base station. Overall though the app isn’t too bad and the mobile ticketing is cool.
I’m a frequent traveler with Peter Pan so it’s super beneficial that there’s an app where I can easily book a ticket rather than going online. It’s easy to access my tickets on the app and not worry about finding it when trying to board the bus. They’re always updating important information on the app and has overall made my travel experience so much more efficient and less stressful! If you travel often with Peter Pan or have an upcoming trip I recommend downloading the app
I've been using this app for a while now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The interface is clean and simple , making it easy to navigate and use all the features. It runs smoothly without any glitches or crashes, which is rare for an app with so many functionalities. What I love most is how responsive and helpful the customer support is. They promptly addressed my queries and even implemented a feature I suggested in a recent update!
My task was to reschedule a trip, same day different time. That part worked beautifully, for which I was grateful. Payment methods offered Apple Pay. Tap, doubleclick,....nothing. Tried again. Zip. Tried again. Nada. Signed in to website, same story-- choosing a new time very efficient. Apple Pay offered. Zilch. So I resorted to entering my credit card info, which yielded immediate positive results. I wouldn't have minded, if only Apple Pay had not even been offered. Latest phone (for another 4 days) and up-to-date iOS. Sigh.
I am a frequent traveler and the new updates to the app make buying a ticket easy. I like being able to purchase tickets and manage my trips right from my app. Makes traveling stress free.
This app was terrible. I was visiting family in Rhode Island and my grandmother tried to help me out by downloading the schedule for the Peter Pan bus after I changed my rental car drop off to providence airport instead of Boston Logan airport in an effort to avoid Boston traffic. The schedule online on their website showed the bus was departing the station every 30 minutes. I downloaded this app and the bus only showed it was leaving at 7am then 1pm, nothing else. Customer service was quick to call back (good job on the quick response but that was it lol) and explained the app was correct on the times. Whoever runs the website is incredibly misleading for posting bus times that DO NOT EXIST!! It felt like such a joke. I was charged for switching my car back to dropping it off at tue Boston Logan airport, I lost money for an error that was technically not my fault and I can’t get that back.
Seriously what’s the point of this app besides to just highlight how far behind the times this company’s services and assets are? Just like it’s policies, this app is strictly coded to avoid you from reaching any source of resolution with your scheduled trips other than what you originally signed up for. I truly wonder how this company is ever going to stay afloat except by preying on those that are dependent on their service and have to reluctantly agree to the unfair terms and conditions, regardless of the situation the consumer may be in. I hope they change for the better for the sake of all those that are forced to use them or similar service providers.
Is definitely better than the old app but I would highly recommend that you add a feature that allows users to stay logged in once they close the app. Every time I open it I have to re- login and it really does get tedious and annoying.
If h could give this negative stars, I would. I’ve never written a negative review on an app before but that’s how truly awful this app is. When you enter your credit card info to reschedule a ticket, it takes forever to process and you get a white screen that takes forever to load, and no confirmation as to whether the ticket has actually rescheduled or not, but they still take the money out of your bank account! Amazing that in 2021 this major bus company has an app this bad. You are better off rescheduling at a counter or by phone, which is frankly archaic and inconvenient in this day and age.
This is worse than a UI written in HTML in 2001. Buttons are unresponsive, the app constantly freezes and shuts down, and they’ll frequently charge you multiple times for the same booking. None of these problems will be fixed, however, because Peter Pan has a monopoly on certain bus routes, and people are forced to rely on them because they have no other options, and these are the easiest people for companies to take advantage of. They don’t care about the quality of their service because they simply don’t have to.
The Peterpan bus line used to be a staple in my travels and reliable. Now, you are unable to get a refund for a ticket, or change the ticket destination. It's also WAY more expensive now than it was before, with no new busses or improvements to the service. The customer service is unhelpful and good luck talking to a real person. Everyone knows that plans change when traveling, except for peterpan bus. Don't travel with them, don't waste your money. I have $98 down the drain. They won't be getting any more money from me in the future.
You can book a trip but this mobile site is anything but mobile friendly. It seems to have been built with no updates 10 years ago and has not advanced with technology. The site goes off the page for the phone. The numbers run vertical rather than horizontal for spacing. There’s no numeric pads for entering numerical data, a standard QWERTY keyboard for email entering, it’s antiquated. And you cannot remain logged in or easily login after you’ve timed out. If I have to I’ll use it but it’s not at all ideal.
The worst app ever. The only way to reschedule a bus is through the app but the app makes it impossible to do. It wouldn’t allow me to reschedule my tickets because their payment section didn’t work. To try and bypass this issue, I tried adding my card to my account, but I wasn’t able to add a card into my account without using it to pay for tickets first. Now I have to go exchange my tickets in person to reschedule my trip instead of on their app which defeats the whole purpose of this app.
I had the other app that was a scaled down web version and it worked just annoying with the size of things sometimes(it still works) this new app is nice it is tailored to the screen BUT I CANT PAY FOR A BUS TICKET!!! I have tried 3 times and it just goes to a white screen with nothing. I like what was done but paying for your trip is basic and this app needs to fix that so then it could be a good update. Until then use old app!!
Came to the bus terminal and tried to load up my ticket. Neither the website (with the link from Peter Pan) nor the app (with my confirmation number and last name) can find my ticket. My guess is that it is broken because today (Sunday after Thanksgiving) is a peak travel day. That’s not really acceptable though and it is giving me some angst. I better get on my bus because I paid $91 for the ticket.
Fix your payment processing. Peter Pan, you wasted a lot of money developing an app with very little extra functionality than the last app (in any), but you can’t even process payments. I guarantee you’ve lost business because of this. People aren’t going to track you down to give you business. They’re going to move on to the next cheapest bus line ticket that’s convenient to purchase. Get your $#!+ together! You’re better than this.
I downloaded the app to see if it would let me add my pass to my Apple wallet as I was unable to do so from my email. There was a button for this feature in the app, but when I clicked it, I got taken to a screen showing a JSON error with status 400 and no way to do anything in the app at all. I understand that errors might occur but a better user experience would be nice. And a way to add to Apple wallet lol.
This new app doesn’t work. Although the writing is now big enough to actually read, I’ve never been able to purchase a ticket. I get to the very end and when I click the final button to purchase, I get an error message. Same thing on the website. I’ve been using Peter Pan since Greyhound went completely downhill (which coincided with the separation of the previously linked Greyhound and Peter Pan. But now I can’t get tickets. So aggravating!
Accidentally booked ticket for wrong date. Downloaded the app and tried to reschedule, only for it to never go through whatsoever. Also $10 fee to reschedule? For what? Tried to reschedule online. Online says 'log in to perks account and click my trips to reschedule' but there's literally no 'my trips' link on the web browser version. Really annoying.
I recently traveled from Boston to NYC on a Peter Pan bus and I felt so unsafe. The bus was practically full, so social distancing was impossible. And mask-wearing was no enforced AT ALL. Plenty of people walked onto the bus without wearing one and one person tried to sit next to me with no mask in sight. I asked if they had one and if they could put it on and they did, under their nose. I felt totally betrayed by Peter Pan Bus Lines and their total disregard for their customers’ safety in the middle of a global pandemic.
I cant reset the password with my email address, as i never received the reset password email. and whenever i tried to register a new account with that email, the system would simply say that the email already exists and wouldnt let me move further! the app is fundamentally broken.
Your advertisement says you provide wifi on your buses so your customers can download your app. However, I cannot open it on my phone. My phone is iphone13 mini, when I click the icon, a window quickly appears and disappears, then nothing happens. Please fix it or I cannot get full user experiwnce.
Website advertises the ability to change departure time of a ticket for a fee via app (otherwise only in-person at the Peter Pan ticket counter). Processing of my VISA payment for this (all info carefully and accurately entered) consistently failed, and I had no recourse but to purchase a second ticket manually. Useless, and one can't help but suspecting intentionally "broken".
I mistakenly chose the wrong time and clicked the reschedule button, and it showed $0 to reschedule. However, it turned out it took $10 to reschedule and I knew it from my bank app who told me $10 had been taken. I m not sure if it was because the internet. BUT Please do not let your app to skip a step if there is something wrong with the internet connection.
An app that makes you re-login your account every time you use it. Not that that matters much really because once you are logged in, half the buttons you click or just links to the website
I’ve never left negative feedback on an app before, but this app has cost me so much wasted time and headaches. It doesn’t properly save your card info to let you purchase tickets, which is the whole point of the app. If you try to re enter it malfunctions. You are better off using the website or buying a ticket in person. Also the perks are BS
I purchased a ticket and got a email confirmation but for some reason the trip I booked through the app does not appear in the “trips” tab on the app. This is an issue because I also need to reschedule and I cannot because my trip isn’t on the app. Why is the only way to reschedule through this app?????????

This app has one of the worst user interfaces of any travel/ transportation apps I’ve used. Very slow, glitchy, outdated and just not designed well. Seems like it was made in 2006 and hasn’t been updated since. Peter Pan- I like your busses, but please do your users a favor and adapt with the times and just redo your app top to bottom.
I downloaded this thinking it would be quicker to access my bus tickets rather than searching my email every time, but it’s actually saved no time due to the fact that I have to enter my email and password each time I open the app with no option to remember it. Useless really.
I downloaded the new app, which does seem like an improvement over the previous (terrible) app. But my already booked upcoming trip doesn’t show up in the “upcoming trips” section in the new app. Why? :(
I just downloaded this app to book a trip for this weekend. It has been on the loading screen for minutes. The same thing was happening with the website! This is ridiculous. Use a third party service instead.
This app is TRASH. don’t even waste your time, just go with another company for your travels. they make it so hard to reach customer service and there is no customer service line. rescheduling the ticket can only be done on the app and the stupid app doesn’t work. i will never book with peter pan again.
This app purportedly allows customers to change their tickets through a few clicks, but the screen turns blank as soon as I enter the view/change ticket screen. Please fix.
Hilariously useless app. When you try to order your ticket, you just get a blank white screen. The app has zero functionality. Stick with the old one (which also is pretty crappy — you can’t add tickets to your Apple wallet and have to take screenshots of them — but at least you can use it.)
I created the account and purchased a ticket on my laptop. But I can’t access the app nor access my account on my iPhone’s Safari, Google, and Chrome. Good thing I printed my ticket from the laptop before shutting down. Horrible.
The app is terrible. Very old seeming. And to change a ticket you can only do it in person or in app. Not on their website. Only thing is that it’s impossible to do on the app when the manage trips tab causes the app to crash every single time.
It took my money and didn’t give me the tickets. Also, there is no customer service portal. Moreover, when I call them at 4 PM, they said they were closed and asked me to submit an online request. ewww. Will never use this again

This is the company that I have had the worst experience trying to contact their customer service. It is a nightmare to try changing a ticket schedule. I spent like two hours trying to do it.
Only have it because I have to. It doesn’t save your account info, not easy to log into. Very strange app format and not easy to navigate and very easy to make mistakes with, also very slow. Peter Pan as a company as well is very unforgiving with no refunds.
Came from DC to NYC. It costs 58$ and doesn’t have stand-by, so you gotta buy ticket in advance, it’s the only way. (Megabus costs 38$ and has stand-by for 25$) On our stol in Baltimore my friend wanted to leave the bus for a minute to take water and the driver started yelling on him loudly, he was really rude.
