Walmart photo app

I have been using this app for over two. Love it as it was so easy to you. 2 weeks ago I discovered that my order was going to the Skowhegan store ( MAINE). I live in Waterville, Maine. The app no longer will let me send them to our local Walmart . It takes 1/2 hour each way to travel. I’ve talked to the local/ total rudeness.......wouldn’t even try & wouldn’t have the photos delivered to the Waterville store. Called corporate headquarters.........the app work fine for them! This has been very stressful looking for another good easy app!

Randomly shut down twice

After taking my time to choose 100 photos, the app just shut off on me while still on it. Now I have to start over which is frustrating. I’ll come back here and update review once I try again, if it shuts down on me again it’s keeping a 1 star. Update: I went back into the app and took two hours of my time to choose 1000 pics. Got to check out and chose pay method and then it said it needed to upload all my photos and started doing so, it counted up and got to the last 50 photos and app shut off again. Now this app has wasted a total of 2.5 hours of my time and I have no purchase. I went back in and the app didn’t even save my cart, back at zero just like the first time. Also not I worked at T-Mobile for 3 years and I’m a mobile expert so no it’s not my phone, update on my phone or app or wifi. This app is complete trash and now that it has wasted to much of my time I will delete it and leave this horrible review here. Don’t make an app to upload multiple pics if it’s not stable enough to handle it. I suggest firing whoever is in charge of software for this application. I’m DONE!

Could use improvement

Every time I’ve used this app it freezes. Several times I’ve had to redo my order 2 sometimes 3 times before I can place the order. It freezes every time I try to add more than one print or will completely shut down. I do like that when the order is placed Walmart gets the pictures and they are ready usually within an hour or so. This morning I needed pictures quick so I tried using this again. It took 4 times ordering and going through all of my pictures.....the app kept shutting off. I ordered one last time and it went right through but really didn’t let me read anything. It just placed the order. I ran to Walmart to pick them up and they were not there. The app sent my photos to another Walmart 15 miles away! When I was talking to the clerk he said he’s had a few customers that that has happened too. I’m deleting and going to try and find a more reliable way to get my photos.

Update app and communication

I’ve used this app pre-pandemic and now during pandemic. Pre-pandemic it was pretty good. I used it while out-of-town and was pleased with the outcome. I tried to use it over the last 2 weeks and have been completely disappointed. Realizing that supplies can be delayed/limited there is no communication from wal mart about what is happening. I found out from an associate in-store that the reason my store location wouldn’t come up on my app was due to a pink ink delay from the warehouse. Then I accidentally placed an order to a store location an hour and a half away from me. I couldn’t find anywhere on the app to cancel the order. Emailed support that said due to high volume of emails to contact photo lab associate. I called the hour and a half away store and spent 1/2 hour on hold to find there was no one in photo lab and no one could help me. The associates were all very nice and wanted to help, but had no knowledge or information. Some communication and an updated app would be so helpful.

Liars

App says you can pick the store you want to use. Lie! I have 3 Walmart’s that all do photos within 40 miles of my house, however, they only show me one Walmart near me and the rest are 50+ miles away. I emailed them and was told that Walmart stores can remove themselves from the app when they’re out of ink or having printer issues. I can tell you right now the Walmart I was wanting had no such issues. I ended up using the Walmart app (which is an extra hassle that I was hoping to avoid) and low and behold my order went through and I picked my sons photos up the next morning (ordered them at like midnight). I emailed them back telling them this and haven’t heard a word from them since! If they aren’t going to be honest about their issues or get back to me I’m not going to use their product. App has since been deleted. Waste of my time and my phones space!

Not happy

I ordered 3 sets of photos. Spent about $30. They sent me a confirmation email with an order number that I could use to track my order. They told me it may take 6-10 business days to receive my photos. On the 6th day I sent out an email because I could not figure out how to track my order. I used a guest account so I couldn’t track it through my Walmart account. No answer. I emailed again on the 7th day. No reply. I emailed on the 8th day. Nothing. It has now been 9 days, i have not received any help or my photos. If I spent $30 to get no pictures and no help to find out how to get them, I will be extremely unhappy. I’m giving 1 star because Customer service is not good whatsoever. I just want my pictures or my money back but no one will even answer me in order for me to get a refund, either. Will not print photos this way, again.

Misleading prices and random added cost

Two main issues: 1- Misleading prices ( twice as much to be exact) 2- Extra charges for no reason. The app selected 6 random pictures to be made 4x4 and charged 5x the price of normal picture. In short go to Walmart load up pictures and print them. There is 0 advantage to using this app or at least none worth paying twice as much. Originally found this app online as part of Walmart. Most other companies has a similar app that is part of the company (CVS, Walgreens etc). Nowhere obvious doesn’t it say they are not part of Walmart which according to search are the most affordable picture printer. It was later brought up to my attention this was not the case and they are a separate “premium” company. I would have been ok with a extra few cost as part of the service but not twice the amount. To make matters worse there is no deliver or other special feature. You are better off just going to Walmart or any other company for that matter and loading up your pictures there. Customer care was unhelpful and dismissive.

4x6” same day photos

Using the Walmart photo app is easy to use. It would be nice if they had added software that you could edit your photos. Some of the pictures I have submitted for same day had parts of the heads cut off yet was not that way when submitted. So this review is not just the app but the whole same day photo process. Overall though, I would still recommend the app. It was much easier that doing it through the website.

Terrible app & support

Terrible app and terrible support. Does NOT make it clear that you are submitting your order and ask for a final confirmation - you push continue expecting to go to a page with the total and payment information where you confirm the order, but it just sends the order with no confirmation. Once you place an order there is nothing showing when the pictures are supposed to be ready. And don’t bother emailing support because it takes two days to hear back from them and even then they don’t actually answer the issue you contacted them about - they just reply saying the photos are ready to be picked up. Just terrible all the way around. Will NOT be using the app again.

Absolutely amazing.

I needed a picture to place by an item for a charity event. I downloaded the app in less than 30 seconds, with access to my photo library I selected the picture and it was ordered all in less than one minute. You cannot beat that. I will use this as often as I need photos. They will even send me an email when my photo is ready. Really excellent customer service.

Didn’t send my order correctly

I ordered about 100 pictures one day and showed up to walmart the next day to pick them up, the employee said only half of my pictures showed up in their system. I then started a NEW order after I had to go through all of my pictures and see which ones didn’t print, which took forever. Then I printed those out at the kiosk and then came back 2 hours later and picked up my new order, and the employee handed me the other half of my original order. I wasted time, money, and gas going to walmart twice in one day.

No price or shipping date until order completed

I am very disappointed with the app. It doesn’t show the price until the end of purchase and it never shows the estimated shipping date until the order is purchased and there is no way to cancel. I needed my picture shipped quickly and so I paid for expedited delivery. It said they’d be shipped over night for the extra $15. Not the case. It’s day 3 and I’m still waiting. Also, no way to refund me from the app and no 800 number to ask for a refund. Other than those, the app was a easy to add photos to cart.

PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY DO NOT USE

I have used this app with success twice before but the third time, I received only 4 out of 10 pictures that I ordered AND two pictures of a different family… now I am worried that someone else has the other 6 pictures of my children. I reached out to customer support for help and a refund, while they acknowledged my email they have not offered a remedy. I also asked that they call me…. They have not. There is no phone number anywhere for customer support (or any department) just an email. Next time I’ll just print at Walmart myself and avoid the risk of my pictures being sent to someone else.

Doesn’t recognize my neighborhood Walmart!

The closest Walmart this app would print my photos to is 10 miles away. I know there are two Walmarts within 2 miles of my house. Not so convenient after all... Edit: my bad. The problem might be on Walmart’s end. I haven’t printed photos there in a while and I guess they don’t have photo centers at all locations anymore. I haven’t gone in-person to verify (COVID risk), but I couldn’t do it on the Walmart website either. I’ll give the app developer the benefit of the doubt and change my review to three stars.

Easy to Use!

This is my first time using this app, but I love how easy it is to use. You can go through all your pictures in your device and pick all the ones you want printed and they just add them all up for you. I had 330 pictures I wanted delivered and they prepared them all for me! So nice to be able to get pictures without leaving your house! I totally recommend this to anyone. So far so good!

So Clean and actually works!

The amount of times I tried using the kiosks at Walmart or website to try to print off photos and it would glitch out and not work is ridiculous. So glad I came across this app it actually uploads the pictures and I’ve had no issues with it yet!

Sizes and pricing not clear

My first time using this app. You have to go through choosing all your pictures and sizes before finding out how much it will cost.I first chose to have them delivered to me and the prices were very inexpensive. Then I changed my mind and wanted the pictures sooner, so I chose to pick them up at Walmart. After doing that it gave me completely different sizes to choose from and somehow all my options changed and the price was double. Had to start all over again.😫

Terrible. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered a handful of pictures that still hasn't arrived. Even if it went through USPS, it shouldn’t take weeks. They are so quick to charge your bank account and tell you they are working on it. For you never to hear back, not be able to track, and have no way to contact anyone to find out about your pictures. Do not do delivery. I dont even want to try ordering to a store, a store that is multiple cities away because they only do Super Walmart printing, because now half the stuff is shut down due to COVID. Don’t use this app. Waste of time and money. What a scam.

Would have been perfect...

This is awesomely convenient - I just had my son 12 days ago and cause to the pandemic I haven’t had a baby shower or been able to see any of my family or friends since I was first pregnant, so it’s super easy to just upload pictures and have them done in a hour before I have to go to the store anyway.. however.. I do wish this app gave the option to edit pictures with filters and different text fonts- it could have been PERFECT but no.. -Moe

Suddenly gone

Nothing changed at the Walmart in my hometown, but suddenly the app does not recognize it. My WM still has one hour photo, and they still print pictures, not sure why they suddenly don’t recognize it. The app now only recognize stores that are 30 miles away in another town. 🙄

Doesn’t send all pictures selected

After selecting X number of photos and hitting submit, and waiting patiently as they upload - the confirmation email then shows a lesser number and price (meaning not everything uploaded to print). But neither the email or app show which pictures actually sent. The first time this happened I tried to justify it, now that it has happened for a second time (a month later) I know this is a problem with this app. It is frustrating to say the least. Don’t waste your time.

Super Easy Prints

The new print ordering software makes it so easy to select the photos you want to print. It displays each picture in a size that’s easy to view, not just a tiny thumbprint. The only downside is the cost per print has more then doubled. The convenience however, outweighs the cost.

Super Easy

I have used this app to print my photos out at Walmart too many times to count. It is very easy to use and you can select as many or as little photos as you want to print. Even if you only want to print out 1 picture, you can do it on this app. I have never had any problems with the app or picking the pictures up from Walmart.

Photo Prints at Walmart

Quick, easy, user friendly, accurate, quality prints! All from my phone!!! No more embarrassing photos showing on the kiosk in the store and having to try to hide it from other shoppers passing by. No more 2 hour trips to WalMart just to print some photos. This app is seriously the BEST!

Horrible app

I downloaded this because it was supposed to be easier than the website. It was worse. You can not select the photo finish so assuming it’s all glossy which is not what I wanted. You can not choose to have it mailed to you and it only lets yo select a super store to pick up from not the nearest Walmart which is a huge inconvenience. On top of it it only displays you order number once and if you don’t think to take a screenshot it’s gone for good, there is no order history tab. And no email confirmation. I will not use again, if I could have given negative stars I would have

Terrible Unusable Print Quality

The app was buggy and difficult to use. Once I was able to upload and order the photos, they came back blurry, terrible looking and completely unusable. When I contacted customer service, they took forever to respond and eventually just blamed my photos instead of trying to do anything to make it right. The photos were professional quality and came out beautifully when I reordered from another company. Will NEVER use this company again again.

Easy and quick!

I love this app. As a hobby photographer when I want to print I open the app, select a picture and hit submit. Done! You pay in store and it’s fine with me because I’m not putting in a credit card number and doing all these verifying steps, and no pop ups!

Photo prints

I am NOT very techy when it comes to computer work. I sweat bullets every time l try to generate photos in store. Had the app Kiosk years ago but couldn’t seem to get it to work right so deleted it. When l reinstalled it today, everything worked SO easily! THANK YOU for making this “older” lady’s day!!

Nice app..

Easy to use .. however it would be nice to select options with a little more ease... I prefer matte photos over glossy... I had to change every single photo to matte....one at a time!!! Would have been nice just to have the choice with out having to do every single one... but other then that the app was easy...

Easy and convenient Prince

So easy to use and prince turned out wonderful and are always on time. Thank you For changing over the kiosks did not work very well and we’re slow all the time for mostly broken down and didn’t work

Easy!

Haven’t printed photos for a long time. So much easier now! Love that you can connect to Google photos and different files on your phone without having to scroll through all of the pictures.

Disappointed

Ordered 4 8x10s and paid shipping to my address. Only received 2 of the 8x10s. Contacted customer service and they reimbursed for the 2 pictures. Contacted them again regarding the shipping and they reimbursed 1/2 the shipping. But to reorder due to their mistake, I will have to pay the full shipping fee. So basically I’m out costs because of their mistake. I don’t feel this was fair or good customer service. I sent an email regarding this and received no response. Very disappointed and won’t use again.

Easy to use but cannot print captions

This app is VERY easy to use but like the Kiosk app now it doesn’t allow for the typing of captions. I had an event photo and wanted to type the title and date on the photo and couldn’t do it in this app. Found a different way to get it on the photo then uploaded my photo with my caption.

Terrible

Not only CAN’t I print to the only Walmart within 80 miles, after putting in all my information to have my photos mailed to me, and getting to the last step, I got an error to try again later - this happened several times before I gave up. When I went back in to try, yet again, to get the photos I needed, all my information was wiped out (in spite of the fact that I clicked on save my credit card). I’m deleting this app - what a waste of time.

Terrible

I’ve used this twice, at two different Walmart stores, with the same disappointing results. Both times, the clerk couldn’t find my order, took about ten minutes or so to finally figure out where it was. Both times, there were pictures inexplicably missing, one pic was only half developed (half white, undeveloped pic), some had awkward crops ( parts of heads dropped off), the color was off on most (pale, over exposed faces, weird colors, etc). Very disappointing and unprofessional operation. Going to look elsewhere fir my photo needs.

WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!!

What a great app!!!! I ordered my Christmas photo cards, 3 photo baby blankets, 2 mugs for coffee with photo, and 1 personalized birthday card. I did all of that in 30 minutes. I completed most of my Christmas list. It was so much fun looking through all of my photos and picking out the best ones!!!!

Complete crap

One, I didn't even realize I was ordering them bc they don't give a price summary nothing "add to cart" means you are buying them. NOT THAT IT MATTERS. Because they send one email that theyll write you when they're printing *and then they don't* so you go to the store to ask about it and no one is there and the machines are down and ultimately you don't get your prints and have to order thru Shutterfly. Just- cut out the headache in between- and use literally any other photo printing service.

SO EASY

This was the most convenient and easiest way to get my pictures printed and not even have to go in store except to pick them up!! It took less than 5 minutes to get all the pictures I wanted for less than $10 in all and they’re ready to fast!

Super Easy!!

Loved how I chose my photos and had to come back it finish days later and they were still there 100+ photos picked up right where I left off and finished ordering it was super quick and easy to do! Loved it 🤩

Great mobile app!!

For many years I’ve used Walgreens but I find their mobile app cumbersome and difficult to use. Took me 10 minutes to print out and upload to print 178 photos! Great app and the process is so simple.

Quick & Easy

Needed photos last minute for graduation announcements; it took less than 5 minutes to choose pictures and send to favorite 🤩 Walmart. Hopefully 🙏 they print them today like I’m hoping they should.

Photo app

Great price but Cannot edit photos as u go along as u can with another popular photo app. Also my order included 7 pics that were the wrong size & I simply could not change it at the end of the process. However since I took a lot of time selecting more than 200 photos to print I simply gave up & ordered those incorrect sizes as well.

Says “no stores found”

I have used this app several times to order photos for pick up at my local Walmart and never had any issue until now. I’m trying to order pictures for pick up and it says that it can’t find any stores near me and asks me to enter my location. Even after entering my location it still says “no stores found” so I’m unable to complete my order.

Missing print size options

The app is very useful and convenient, but it’s missing the option for an 18x24” poster print. That’s the exact size I need for my business and it’s available in-store and on the desktop website, but not on this app. Walmart please fix this!

I ordered my pictures for delivery on May 6. We’re on May 18 today. I have called no answer, left message haven’t heard back from them. Emailed them & no reply. I’m beginning to think it’s a scam. It doesn’t let me post because I need to find a rare nick name.

First time—Thumbs up!

Pretty intuitive, and I liked the ease with which custom features (size, cropping, orientation, etc) could be implemented photo-by-photo. Am building a memorial board for my sister, and I truly appreciated how easy it was to “drive” this powerful app!

Suggestions

It would have been helpful to have some instructions on how the app works when you first set it up. I struggled and was frustrated but figure it out in the end. For example you have to give full access to photos not limited. You should set up the account first. I am still not sure if there is a limit on the number of prints. I ordered over 400. I just hope it worked. It said the order was received but gave me no indication on when m order would be ready. I am hopeful that it worked because I have several thousand pictures to print and want it to be an easy process. Thank you, Tracy

Easy to use but needs options

This app is easy to use but needs options for printing matte vs glossy finish. Also, it will not let you edit more than one copy of the same print. For example, I wanted to zoom in and print that photo, but I also wanted to printed the original picture. This app will not let you do that.

Thank goodness

I’ve tried so many other apps, walgreens, shutterfly, etc. and none of them would print a large order for me except for walmart!! Will always order through walmart from now on!

No order

I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled for this app. There’s no way to see order history so once you place your order, the only proof you have of it is the email confirmation. I never heard from Walmart if it was ready so I called, and they have no record of my order and said they are not affiliated with this app at all. I then emailed the customer service email for the app and weeks later I still have not gotten a response.
