I just got this app, like a minute ago but it asked my to write a review so here I am. I think this app is pretty cool, it’s definitely different, and it kind of seems fun, so I think I’ll try it for a while and if I don’t like it then I will delete it. And to you people out there who are like, “ this app is so dumb I hate it”, and blah blah blah, just delete it! It is not the end of the world people! So chill out, stop complaining and just DELETE IT! And thank you to people who, like, explain there ideas instead of biting peoples heads off over something little that most likely, the can’t control!
I get it. If someone provides a good, useful app... free of charge... the least users can do is provide the app with a high rating and positive review. But if that is the strategy, at least let them test the features once, and then require a review to keep the extra features. You can’t expect someone to rate an app they haven’t been able to test yet. Or you can, I guess, but it certainly doesn’t say much for the quality of the reviews. It’s like the blind leading the blind. I gave 3 stars for now, simply because it does allow you to use the features without paying, provided you rate the app. But I will lower or raise this based on the usefulness of the app- once I’ve actually had a chance to try it. So far, I’ve only been allowed to upload my photo, with no real opportunity to test the app’s features. I almost didn’t even download, simply because having reviews stating the person was forced to rate the app with no knowledge of its capabilities are worth no more than having no reviews at all.
If you can get past all the pop ups online dating, games etc that take over the page & o yeah to do that you got to buy the app & they do it so fast through a quick bait n switch get rid of the ads button then you think your replying yes but quickly find out you just bought it! I still don't know how much and if it's over $1.99 it ain't worth it! The other issue is it would be awesome if when you are finished with one picture that you could go back and edit or get another picture but you have to start the app all over again and if you're not fast enough it times out and takes you back to the homepage which is BS, you should take you back to your Photos!!!! The over all idea is neat & looks cool! But this apps needs upgraded & how much did I just pay???
App states FREE no need to purchase, absolutely free. I’m always careful that I’m not downloading a “free app” that will then charge me after a certain amount of days. I’m fine with a free trial period, and if I like the app I’ll keep it and know what I’ll be charged, if not I’ll know to cancel it, and when to cancel it. Most are 7 days or 30 days. This one charged me $3.99 after four days, with no notice. If it’s in the app description it must be hidden or verbiage added after I downloaded. Shady, misleading, dishonest. I’ve requested a refund; I’ll update here. If it’s a quick refund without a fight I’ll revise my review, if not I will fight, I will not give up, and I’ll post reviews and warnings EVERYWHERE. REPEATEDLY. Over and over and over.
For the right picture, this is a very nice way to do a rendering. You have to write a review to unlock all of the possible effects, so I can only comment on the basic ones so far. The black and white versions could be saved and used with other apps or by themselves IF there's enough interest in it. The color sketches are simple but pretty. A fun app to play with. Probably better if you pay 99 cents to get rid of ads.
It’s definitely not as advertised! And I bought the unlimited as well I just don’t see the effects that is shown in the advertisement and when filling in color it’s like difficult to get to the lil spots that needs color. I colored in Iron Man it took me almost 20mins because when you tap the parts wit the colors it doesn’t always take so this a no go for me ! Y’all can have the $2.99 it’s on me but if it’s not as advertised I’m good this the last app purchase I’ll do it seems to me allot not all but allot of app developers is kind of twisting what the app does and what they advertised so it’s no go
I really like this app so far. It’s good quality and easy to use. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I hardly got a chance to use it before being asked to right a review. Maybe wait a little longer or just have suggestions that you can X out of.
I’ve used this app for years, loved it. But last update took out what I use. Doesn’t sketch photos now just applys filters like every other app. Each update has slowly made this app worse over time. After this last one I may never use again if they don’t put back to how it was.
I purchased the full version of the app, using an iPhone SE running the latest iOS. However, after my payment, it still doesn’t allow me to use basically any of the features, and just brings up the screen for me to pay again. The farthest I’ve gotten is clicking “restore,” the app telling me that my purchase was successfully restored, only for the app to completely freeze. I have to close it and go back in, and of course, none of the features are available when I go back in. It’s only a few dollars, but I still regret buying this scam app.
Hello. This app is cool and I enjoy using it from time to time. However, I notice it doesn’t have a whole variety of filters. That and it doesn’t match anywhere close to the perfectedness that the previews display, so I would like it to give an actual representation of what the sketches will look like. That way people don’t know what they are getting into, since my results did not come clear like the ones you jus are showing in the preview
...Hard to determine a rating when I only have 2 options to choose from, despite the $0 cost price point; so my opinion is neutral. Has potential, impressed so far from what limited capabilities I've used: wasting my time requiring a response, which should truly be a forum to recommend app improvements. User beware, you will need to return to the App Store for a preliminary review of the introductory experience to unlock features of the app.
From what I could see in the brief moments since uploading my first picture, I believe I'm going to have a lot of fun with this app! However, having JUST downloaded and opened it, I haven't had an opportunity to even test it out before being blocked by the pop up to provide a rating. I'm quite sure my rating could be much higher if I didn't feel coerced into rating it before having a chance to actually use it.
Just recently downloaded the app. I create artwork for our podcast and hope this one will really help. So far it seems to work well for certain things. Others need me to leave a rating to unlock. Guess that’s better than paid. But I still don’t completely know the app. So I can’t give full feedback.

Honestly I think it’s good , because I’m a drawer and whenever I get requested to draw people that I know or draw for my friends birthdays they would send me a picture of themselves for me to draw so I use this app to get a little sketch to what the design will be so I’ll draw something similar and most of the time their proud of me
I expected to open it up and get right to a sketch. Instead, I got an ad I had to click on and find my way back from safari. Then, I choose a photo click on the sketch to try and I get another pop up to write this review? So, now I’m writing a review about something that has not let me test it, but gave me a runaround. There... Can just try your app now so I can write a user’s review?
Within first few minutes of opening app: * Immediate pop-up for the app’s monthly subscription “premium” service, turns out that the “premium” subscription hides all but a small handful of the features the App Store page advertises. * Pop-up to rate and review the app... when I haven’t even used the app yet. * A video advertisement. * The main menu, finally... where 90% of the example images and the app’s own icons failed to load.
A lot of reviews I read said you would have to leave a review immediately upon opening the app, before you would even be able to use the app. Well that must have been upgraded, because I can’t even open the app without first agreeing to a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription. You do get a 3 day trial if you opt for a yearly subscription, but I don’t care. This app is getting deleted as soon as I submit this review!!!
Good app for creating sketch photos of your friends and family and places you visit. It takes very little practice and experience to use all the features available with the app, and the good thing is, it costs you nothing but time to get the application and start using it.
Had to write a review to unlock effects. Who knows if this is a good or bad app? It's a bit annoying to be forced to write a review before even using the app much, and the creators should know this. With that said, today is December 31, 2016. Hope whoever is reading this is having a happy 2017. The future is now.
It’s just a free app so there is no point in not trying it out, it asked me to write a review, and you do have to pay for some ad ons, but it looks good so far. Only downside is for quality drawings you do have to pay that extra 2 dollars.

I wish it had an animation effect but other than that I love it just your basic sketch but worked great for the cover I made. Lots of ads but if you need a sketch app there is t any better ones out there.
I specifically searched for free apps. Saw this, so I installed. As soon as I opened it, I got 3 paid subscription options to choose from before I can even use it. I’m not paying for something I can’t even see first. To the devs: Be upfront on the download page, and say $3.99 & up. Maybe give people a free trial so they can decide whether they like it. Please stop wasting people’s time.
I use this so that photoshop doesn’t look terribly photoshopped.. makes everything blend in together very nicely. As if all of the items in the picture were together for that picture instead of edited in. Nice app.
Truly awesome app and well worth upgrading at the reasonable price they are asking. I upgraded after trying the app for a few minutes. Has any features and is pretty customizable.
I purchased the app to get the other options because my pictures were coming out so light I could barely see them even if I used a dark picture. All the other options were just as bad. The only thing that comes out ok is already drawn images or images will large patches of solid color. I’d like a refund. 😒
It is overall a pretty good app I was actually surprised that it was that good the only downfall is that you have to pay to use some of the app, but other than that it is a really good app
I took the time to use it before I made the review. The app is great and allows me to use it without constantly being asked to buy or aspects of the app. Easy to manipulate and the options are good.
At this point I don't really have much of an opinion. I was required to leave a review before being allowed to access other features. But the basic sketch part of the app does a good job. I am pleased with that part which is why I am now trying to access the rest of it!
Impressive quality and it really brings a **pop** to your photos after!! No issues with anything. Easy upload... Just write a review to unlock the rest of the sketches! Love it!!
I downloaded to give it a whirl, before anything was accessible it was asking for money. So downloaded, installed and immediately removed again. You want my money, give me chance to actually try things out. Your loss, I am sure there are other equally capable apps out there (an assumption, I know, since I don’t know the first thing about this one).
It looks really nice and pretty. However you need to write a review to unlock everything. It's not a bad thing to ask for a review but it shouldn't be like u must write one to unlock it
The app is great just waiting to try and see the rest of the features it offers but so far i like the app its helping me to try and draw everything for myself.
The only problem I have is that to unlock all the sketches you have to rate is so that is basically why I'm writing this,although this app has a lot of recent ads it is wonderful,I suggest you get this app...it's really cool!!!!!!!
While checking something else, I discovered that I had apparently subscribed to in-app purchase. Because everything I wanted to use in this app was a purchase I had deleted it. Since my “subscription” lasts until October, I tried to access it again and found I can’t open anything without signing up for yet another subscription. I rate it SCAM.
I’ve downloaded only a few applications, because really, we do not need any. Since this seemed somewhat creative, compared to most trashy applications out there, I downloaded it for free. That’s the only thing free about it... once you’ve downloaded it, it is ALL advertisements, for really stupid stuff. What a shameful waste this world is recklessly headed towards, hell, courtesy of greedy idiots like the owners of this “item.”
I agree with others. This seems like a decent sketch app but you can hardly tell before you’re forced to write said review. You haven’t had much time to develop an opinion of the app but it auto converts to sketch pretty well and easily. Hope it works even better
Me and my friend used this because she said she would draw pictures of people and then we used this app so we didn't have to draw but we didn't tell people that💩!!!!
This appears to be a good program when the cost of opening is a review. It appears to be quick and easy but no one can expect the full five stars in advance. Get real, why put a stumbling block like this right on the threshold of your product?
I was searching for a “Pic Sketch” upgrade or substitute…and somehow ended up here with this app. This is definitely NOT what I thought I purchased! I do not want this app. I can not a way or find how to cancel it. I do not want to use it, I do not want to buy $$ it, and I can not find a way to get rid of it on my iPad. I do not like “corny cartoon like graphics”. Regrets. Or you style
The free version of this app has so little of the actual program that you can’t tell if it’s a decent app or just a piece of crap. If a few more options were shown, even if you can’t save them, it might get better. With so many like apps out there, I’m deleting this one and trying the next.
It seems to be a good app, but hard to figure from the start. You tap to get picture and get bombarded with ads, again and again. Each ad is cleverly disguised to make you think it’s part of the ap. After blundering through, it did work, but not worth the hassle. The programmers messed up a great idea.
I get it--you want to make money...but perhaps you should allow a person to use the app for 15-20 sessions so that one can give you actual feedback about how people like the app. Right now, you are getting ratings so people can actually see IF they like the app, not how much they like it. I guess it's all about the $$$...
I imagine it would be a cool app, but I can’t tell unless I pay for the advanced version. The ads are all over the place and moving and flashing and rotating which makes it very unpleasant to use the free version for testing it out. Too bad. I might have paid for the fee version if I could have used the free version tools without all that annoyance.
Wasted money...images do not come out as well as advertised. I will try other apps. There is not a way to correct errors in the coloring pages other than to go back to the color and reapply. There should be an eraser or undo button. This is not worth the few dollars to remove the ads.
From what I can tell so far, the description and example images for this app are misleading. Someone mentioned unlocking other features after leaving a review... will update if that happens. Otherwise a waste of a few dollars really.
