Obsessed!!! (updated with recommendations)
I have became obsessed with this game! I love it! The only con I have is that I’m spending money for tokens, lol. I play so much that the 10 tokens they give you to play is not enough. Considering a lot of the puzzles take more than 10 tokens. Also, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve purchased tokens, but there are no ads in between games, which is amazing! Edit: Still addicted! Lol. And I have to admit, once I began playing this game, I saw the 15x15 puzzles and was intimidated! I thought I’d never be able to start them let alone complete them! But now that I’ve been playing, the hard and super-hard puzzles are the ones I prefer! Which brings me to my one complaint… or more of a recommendation. Now that I’m getting close to the end of the packs, I’ve noticed there are less “super-hard” & “15x15” puzzles. Which, in my opinion, is odd because if you’ve made it almost to the end, it means you’re no longer a beginner… the puzzles shouldn’t be getting easier. My only recommendation would be to offer packs that are all one specific level. For instance, one pack that contains only hard or super-hard puzzles. Because I hate that I have to do the easy ones just to get to the next pack. I hate to admit how regularly I purchase tokens for this game.. especially with it being a little more expensive than other apps, I wish there were more options.

My favorite phone game for 5+ years
Love love love this game, it's the only one I've seen that matches seemingly endless puzzle packs with an "in game currency" situation that only requires you to buy into if you want to binge a TON of puzzles in one sitting. Usually I do a few or log in just to spend the free 10 you get so that it can refill over the next half-hour. Every 4th or 5th puzzle will give you 10 tokens plus another 10 if you watch an ad (always worth it). My tip—once you get to 10, spend them immediately so it refills again (you don't need to finish the puzzle, just start it), otherwise you're missing out on freebies. And if you have 20+ sitting around, search for the most "expensive" puzzle you can afford so it won't be a headache later. Also, find an easy-ish "hard" puzzle to memorize and farm for 3 tokens each time you redo it. If that's too boring, go back and replay a pack you've already completed, as once you complete them it costs coins (which you should have plenty of) and instead rewards you with tokens you can then use on the new packs. Hope this never changes! Happy puzzling everyone, and huge shoutout to the team who made this; it's gotten me through a lot of sleepless nights, long poos, and awkward moments where I've needed to just do my own thing for a bit. <3

Amazing! I don’t know how they do it.
What’s so amazing? Well, I’ve played hundreds of these “nonogram” type puzzles, and it seems, eventually, you’ll find a puzzle in a series that you will be forced to use a clue or two in order to solve the puzzle. In Picture Cross, I completed every one of the summer puzzles without ever needing a clue! That doesn’t mean I didn’t have to start over from scratch a few times; I’m not saying I don’t make plenty of errors, but when I patiently went back and reworked the puzzles (often more than a few times!) I found I could complete every one of the puzzles from the simplest to the trickiest without resorting to any kind of clue whatsoever! That, to me, puts this game way above all others in this category. The only change I would like to see is for the Xs (that you put in the squares) to be either much thinner or greatly toned down to like a 30% value. The bold dark brown Xs as they stand are just a bit too distracting. It would be nice too if we could change the color of the boxes as well. Brown is…well…brown. But my thanks to the developers for making this game so enjoyable, challenging, and somehow always solvable*. *well, as far as I’ve gone, this is what I’ve found to be the case, anyway. Edit: I’ve now completed the “winter” puzzle and still have had no need to resort to the use of hints.

Fun game BUT...
The biggest issue I see is that the developer is not even trying to keep current. It’s been months since they added a new puzzle. Once they have you hooked, they don’t seem to care if they keep current with their puzzles. It’s VERY discouraging. If they regularly added new puzzles, this would be a five star game, but two new puzzles in as many years just won’t cut it. The first two puzzles are fun and challenging. Then you get to three and four. You can spend your coins, rework a puzzle to get more tokens, but instead you get fewer coins than you just spent --- and NO tokens. That makes it nearly impossible to finish the last two puzzles and it takes weeks...unless, of course, you want to spend cash to buy tokens. I wonder what's in store for future puzzles? All cash for tokens? I smell a rat. This new version seems to be much improved. At least they've got more puzzles and offer more tokens. I still wish you could use you coins to buy tokens. Maybe future updates will include that option. I'm cautiously optimistic. The two additional puzzles are nice, but now what? Once you finish them you’re left with no additional puzzles, and so ,again, you either quit the game or redo the old ones. Disappointed again,

Great game!
For a while, I found these types of games almost impossible to do because I just had a hard time learning strategies to use while playing them, but now that I know a few tricks I absolutely love them! This one in particular because there are so many that range from super easy to super hard and you can just play forever.. That is if you have enough tokens, which is one of my minor complaints about this game. You can earn hundreds of coins in a short amount of time, but hardly any tokens which you need to unlock each puzzle. It’s kind of annoying because I would play these all day but I constantly run out of tokens and have to wait until the next day for the daily reward or watch a bunch of ads for one token each and you can only watch 8 ads per day as a way to earn tokens. There’s packages you can buy but I play free games because they’re free, not so I can spend money. Especially with how fast the tokens go. The puzzles don’t all cost the same amount of tokens to unlock so they can go pretty quick. So I just open the game every day and earn my tokens to save up for a bit and then play until I run out, and then do the same thing over again. Other than that I love it! If you like these types of puzzle games then you’d really enjoy this game.

My favorite game in the App Store!
Apple user since 08 but have never left a review so here we go... I have had this game since May 2018. It is September 2019 and I’ve done over 1500 of the puzzles, never using any real money to play. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about having to buy tokens. With enough patience it’s possible but I do have to agree that the tokens to coin ratio is a bit of a smudge on an otherwise phenomenal game. Right now I’m sitting on over 105,000 coins and have completed all of the packs but like 2 of them but now I’m to the point where I can do one puzzle a day most days and that’s really disappointing, unless I open one a day and then don’t actually play for about a week. I appreciate the daily prizes and the doubles for watching the videos, but on the Paris and New York packs, you have so few 10 tokens or below, it takes you months to get enough tokens to cover them all. I have to say, I enjoy the color ones even more than the black and white one and I hope you guys release more of those levels. You guys have done a great job with this game, and I’m not sure what’s different about this game in comparison to the other nonogram games, but this is my favorite. Keep creating more level and I will continue to keep playing!

Great game, some small improvements.
I love this game. People are complaining about having to use real money to buy tokens are wrong. You can replay any level which will now cost “coins” (which are plentiful). Once you complete the replay you can receive up to 3 tokens each time. Even if you replay the puzzle it is still a challenge as you can hardly memorize an object and it’s squares so it is still fun and a good time filler. Some levels have certainly been difficult and occasionally have stumped me but you can solve all of these using logic and process of elimination. A hint is never required to solved. I only give this 4 stars because of course there are numerous ads as with most free games. I do opt for extra ads to gain more tokens and/or the occasional free level. However sometimes the tokens do not appears as stated in some reviews. It is frustrating and happens more commonly than I would expect. The biggest downside I have noticed is the game does not seem to sync across devices. I have started playing on my ipad primarily because it isn’t as small and my progress is not saved on my account and therefore cannot continue from where I left off if I were to switch to my phone. Lastly, I would love to see more achievements and challenges as they only can be achieved within the first puzzle pack and I am beyond that point.

Overall pretty good but has so big downsides
I overall love the game and are addicted to playing it. Only the problems I have with are some of great concern. First, the games level systems are completely weird, sometimes I’ll play an easy level which would end up being harder than a medium level and medium and hard levels are pretty much the same thing. Second, occasionally when I get my daily tokens, it just doesn’t give them to me. This especially happens when it is at the bigger rewards. Take today, I go to get my daily tokens, the screen pops up and I press collect, the screen goes away and I haven’t gotten my tokens. This really is a problem as tokens are the only way to play a level. Third, the levels cost way more tokens the. The. The app gives us, without having to resort to paying with real money. As you go through the levels the start to cost more to play, so even go as high as 60 tokens, this usually wouldn’t be a problem for games but in this one it is because they only refill your tokens to 10. You have to find ways to gain the extra 50 tokens. As someone who can’t afford to pay for more, collecting that many could take a pretty long time for just one level. Even with all it’s downsides I wouldn’t stop playing the game. I just wish they would fix them so I can have more of a good time, instead of a stressful one while playing.

Seriously download this game
This game really helps keep my mind occupied and it's what I need sometimes. It's always an app I go back to. Seriously, out of any game that is like this, this is the ONLY one I play. It's easy to do yet also makes you think. Some can take less than 10 seconds, while some I can be sitting there thinking where things go and that's what I love about it - they're not all impossibly hard. Oh my god, and the fact you can walk away from that one you're having issues with and then go back to it and your progress is still there? FANTASTIC. Here's my negatives though; not a lot free tokens, can only do 2 pictures at most (but keep in mind I'm thankful for those tokens do not get me wrong). I also wish there was a way that if I wanted to start over, have it where I can restore my previous purchases. I also kinda wish I could zoom a little when it comes to on my phone (but that I'm not quite sure how it'd work, I think it's just better to play with a bigger screen), but typically I play on my iPad (not at the moment due to me wanting to start over but don't want to lose the money I put into the game). My positives outweigh the negatives, please download this game

So obsessed
I dont usually write reviews, and by usually I mean never this is the first one I’m writing, but it said to write a review if I’m enjoying the game, and I’m really enjoying the game. I don’t even know how long I’ve had this game but I absolutely love it. I didn’t think that a puzzle game would ever not be boring, but somehow I’ve never gotten bored of it. I love how the packs are themed and it makes a big picture that goes together. I’m really surprised that I’ve had this game for so long, I usually get bored of games within a week but according to the stats thing I’ve spent almost four full days in the game. The ads aren’t even that bad, you can skip them after 5 seconds. I usually get really annoyed by ads but they aren’t bad. I really like how you can watch ads for one puzzle, but I wish the option came up more often. I wish it were easier to get tokens too but then I guess it would be boring because you could do them all at once. This is a lot longer than I intended it to be but basically, this is a GREAT game, and I’m obsessed. The only downside is I have to wait for tokens which is why I’m writing this but I’m not complaining about the tokens, it makes sense. I guess that’s it. Awesome game!

Overall bad
I love playing nonograms. I would consider myself to be extremely good at it. I play them 24/7. Actually playing the game itself is fun. It’s just everything else that isn’t. The whole solve one nonogram to unlock the a part of the puzzle seems fine, and I can understand why some people like it. But I personally don’t, and it’s hard to zoom in on a certain piece you want to do. I would try and zoom in and accidentally press a piece I didn’t want to do and accidentally use my tokens to play it. I would much prefer have levels instead. Tokens itself are bad. For some levels, there’s a timer to see how long it takes you to finish the puzzle and you will use that amount of tokens for how long it takes you to finish. The “pause”button isn’t even a pause button. It’s literally the button that looks like the settings. The only way you know it’s the pause button is because it says pause at the top. The puzzles are deceptive. I would consider “hard” levels to be super hard. Most puzzles force you to buy hints too. You look at a puzzle at every single angle and there’s literally not even one move you can make without having to buy a hint. It forces you to use coins. The game mechanics could be a lot better too. I could keep going on and say at least 8 more problems but I feel like I’ve gone far enough. There’s definitely better nonogram games you can get.

A fun, typical game
This game is very intriguing, and has puzzles that get your mind active. There are different difficulties of puzzles, and many to choose from. This game allows you to play any puzzle, as long as you have enough tokens. Now, for someone who constantly plays games on their phones, this might be restricting as you have to wait for the tokens to build back up over time. But for someone like myself who only plays a little bit at a time, it is a perfect system. I don't always play, so my tokens have built up to the point that when I do play, I can do any level I want and not have to worry about needing more tokens. Furthermore, if you're in the middle of a puzzle and need to stop, you don't need to worry because you can come back later and the progress you've made on the puzzle will save. You can also restart puzzles if you've messed it up too much, and it doesn't consume tokens. Overall, I would recommend this game to those that need a good game that will keep them concentrated and thinking for a short break in their day. An addition: you can change your time for more tokens. Easy quick way to get them, never pay.

Too tedious
2023 update: nothing has changed. Still trying to unlock the arcade. But every two weeks there’s two new 100lvl packs. Each pack still takes over a month to finish due to token cost/limit. STILL can’t spend coins on tokens. STILL CANT play the game some days when the level costs 40+ tokens and your daily bonus is 5 tokens. How is this game still around? 2021 Update: There are still days you can’t even play one level because the token cost is 35+ for ONE PUZZLE. You can only get a max of 10 for waiting, so you literally have to wait days to play a single puzzle. Let me spend my 500K coins on tokens. There is almost no chance in ever unlocking the arcade at this rate because Devs add new packs of 100 puzzles but each pack takes more than a month to complete because of the time gating. Original Review: Game starts out simple. Get green tokens. Play levels. Then the levels become too expensive. Either A) buy them with money or B) watch an ungodly amount of ads. Either way, the devs are making money, which I understand is the point. But man, sometimes you can’t even play ONE LEVEL some days because your daily reward reset and you only got 5 free tokens. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE increase the cap of tokens to 20 or something. I really want to delete the app when I open it and see my next lvl costs 50 tokens, but I only have 10 when I wake up and have my coffee.

Good but needs a few improvements
First let me start off by saying I absolutely love this game. It’s challenging so it keeps me occupied but it’s not impossible to beat which is how a game should be so good job on that. I do have just a couple of suggestions for improvement though. 1) I think it would be great if y’all could add a way to zoom in or something because on my phone the squares are really really small so it’s easy to accidentally tap the wrong one. 2) I think that for playing levels you should earn tokens more often instead of coins because the game requires tokens to keep playing and coins are only used for hints, which I never use. I have like 16,000 coins and hardly any tokens, which is aggravating because I never use coins. Or something y’all could do instead is make a way to buy tokens with in game coins that you’ve earned so that I can actually use my coins. 3) There are a few too many advertisements. Every time you click on something in the game it brings up an advertisement so I think that if there are going to be that many advertisements there should be a reward for watching them. Overall though this is a really great game and I really love it, I just think it could use a couple improvements.

Money Hog! 🐷
Waaaay too token orientated with limited options for getting tokens without payment!!! Asking for money ALL the time !!!! A complete turnoff!!!!! Sure, you get some free tokens per day, but these are hardly enough to play even one game! You can watch ads for a few more tokens, but again, may not be enough to add up to playing a game! Although they offer ways to get tokens free by completing some vendor ad requirements- I've tried some of these & I NEVER received my tokens- so it was a waste of my time!!! All this particular game is designed to do it tease you with a little, so that you become a buying machine for tokens!!!! BUY, BUY, BUY MORE TOKENS!!!!! This is the mantra of this game!!! It's Especially irritating when you finally have enough tokens saved up for a game & the puzzle turns out to be a simple one!!! I enjoyed this game in the beginning, the designs are cute, BUT NOW ITS a TURNOFF. The coins are useless & serve no purpose for me, & you can't turn them into tokens- which are the only thing you can use to buy a puzzle! The tokens are too hard to get without payment, & even if you have tokens, the amount needed to open a puzzle is ridiculous!!! Frankly, there are too many other choices out there for pixal logic puzzles that don't have these issues for me to bother much with this particular version!!! Don't waste your time or money!!!!!

Misleading to the point of being fraud
First of all the game itself is fun and addicting. The problem lies in the tokens. They only give you a hand full of tokens and once you get far enough each puzzle costs 20 to 30 tokens. They don't regenerate very fast so unless you do the "quests" you can't play the game anymore unless you pay real money (lots of it). So you look through the list of quests and they look pretty simple. That's where the fraud comes in. I find one that says "take a 2 question survey for 38 tokens". So I click on it, take a 5 question survey and get 2 tokens. Ok whatever, let's go to the next. This survey says 4 questions for 60 tokens. So I start the survey and it starts asking for all sorts of personal info, but I go along with it. About 50 questions later (when the app says it would be 4), I get a prompt that I have to actually order a product with real money to finish the survey. That wasn't what I agreed to so I skip it. I get zero tokens for that, but they took all my info. So basically don't expect to actually get tokens from the quests, they rarely actually give you what they say they will. Between that and the constant barrage of ads, I can't recommend this to anyone. It's a blatant money grab game that will flat out lie to you in order to get you to click on things. It probably should be pulled from the store IMO

Definitely a keeper
I have been playing daily for years. The puzzles are all able to be finished with absolutely no guessing or having to think 2 or 3 moves ahead to see if a spot works. No penalty for placing an X or square in the wrong place. It’s simply that the puzzle won’t complete. You can always go back and replay puzzles by spending coins and earn tokens. You can stop in the middle of as many puzzles in a section as you want and go back without losing your progress. There is a monthly “event” that keeps things fresh. The only issue I have with it is that it says “Event ends in dd:hh:mm:ss” and then the new section becomes available for you to unlock and play new puzzles. Before then, you have to pay $10 for the “premium rewards” and the puzzles in the new section will unlock with no tokens. No problem, but when the time expires, it adds “Bonus time” and you have to wait longer if you haven’t paid. That is frustrating. I’d like to see them available for play by spending tokens at that point, but still allow players to have the extra time to collect their rewards.

Addicting but could use some tweaks
I have been playing Picture Cross for about 3 months now. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone. I am just VERY frustrated about the tokens, like many others. According to other reviews, the cost of the puzzles accelerate. I agree with changing the way the tokens work and I also do not use my coins. But....the thing that gets me the most is the stupid TAPJOY. It says take a short survey for 53 tokens and I’m like sweet!! I spend 15 miserable minutes complete the survey, press finish, go back to picture cross, and get 0 TOKENS!!! I would like to earn my tokens when I complete things like that. Also I sometimes take a survey that uses personal information and then after like 15 questions it finally says: sorry but you have not qualified for any surveys! If these things were fixed, I would absolutely love this more. OOH last suggestion I think that you should be able to use whatever tokens you have. For instance, if this puzzle costs 20 tokens, but I only have 10, I could put in the 10 I have and wait until I have another 10 to complete the cost. If these things were fixed I would never stop them laying this game!!! Also, question. Does the 10 tokens recharge every day or do you have to use them?

Ruined my relationship..
This is a funny story, trust me. So I downloaded Picture Cross about six months ago, and at the time I was in a relationship with this guy who treated me terribly, but love is blind so I was still with him. When I downloaded this game, I played it constantly. I mean, if I was on my phone I was on this app. It was addicting, and I lost track of time almost every time I played. Well, this meant that I didn’t respond to my boyfriend until hours after he texted me. For about a week I was on this kick of only playing Picture Cross, and my boyfriend had had enough. We got in an argument and he asked why I hadn’t been talking to him. Too embarrassed to say I had been solving puzzles all the time, I brought up an old issue and we ended up breaking up. Now, about five months after that, I’m happier than I ever was with him and it was probably the best thing that could’ve happened for me. Then, I told this story to my cheer coach and we bonded over it and I ended up being voted captain of the varsity squad. So yes, I love this game and it has only had positive impacts on my life.

Wish I could give it 5...
Because everything about playing is spectacular! I actually give this game credit for helping me quit smoking - kept me so distracted and occupied that I made it through the temptation! It’s challenging, problem-free, friendly interface, I love this game. BUT - you earn barely enough tokens to play, nor enough coins. I did spend money along the way to buy tokens (considered it better than spending on cigarettes). And I have replayed most all the medium / hard puzzles countless times to get more tokens, and have endured the ads over and over again as well. But there’s just no way to enjoy this game unless you’re willing to spend money. As you accumulate tokens, It raises the cost of the games. It has all the silly quests etc., but you get virtually nothing for completing them, nor for completing a board. And having completed EVERY puzzle, I am in the situation where I can no longer play at all. I can’t earn coins anymore because there are no new puzzles, and without coins I can’t even replay puzzles. So developers - Check my account - I’ve spent a considerable amount over the last few months. And you’ve effectively locked me out. Come off you’re greed just a notch or two and I’ll gladly give you five stars.

Best Game Ever
My dad discovered this game a few years ago and got me hooked. I played religiously and never skipped a day. It took me about a year to complete all available puzzle packs and then I would patiently wait for new releases by playing old puzzles and saving up on coins and tokens. Just a couple weeks ago, I went into the app to watch my daily videos for free coins and tokens when all of my progress was lost. I immediately panicked and started crying. Definitely an irrational reaction to such a thing, but I had dedicated so much of my life to this game and it all came crashing down. I had over 10,000 tokens and close to 1,000,000 coins. Multiple years worth of work gone for absolutely no reason. Nothing I tried brought my progress back. I’m not sure if it was a glitch in the game or if it was caused by my stupid phone. Either way, I’m devastated. This is an incredible game and I highly recommend it to everyone. I wish that I appreciated it more when I had it. I considered starting from scratch, but this is my official retirement from Picture Cross.

Fun at first
This game is fun, but a few things bother me. At first, the game was perfect. But now, as I get further in the levels, it’s getting a little weird. I only really have two complains, and the first is that the game makes my phone really overheated. I could be playing for ten or fifteen minutes, and my phone gets so hot the game starts glitching. The last few days, I’ve only been able to play a few rounds before it starts glitching. That could just be for my phone, but it gets annoying sometimes. (It also takes a lot of battery, but that doesn’t bother me as much). My other complaint is with my music. I like to listen to music on apple music while I play the game, but lately the game has been messing with that a little. Every time I play music, a few minutes in and it pauses the song. I keep unpausing it, but it can get to the point I can only listen to a few seconds before it pauses it. I think that’s weird because it doesn’t have a reason for pausing it, since I don’t play the game with sounds. The music can play during the ads, though. (There are a LOT of ads!) this game is fun, but it’s getting to the point where I’m considering deleting the game.

Over 141K coins so far
This has been my morning game long enough to accumulate over 141K coins, so obviously I love it. Now, when I run out of tokens for another play, I spend 250 coins to do a replay and then 250 more on every row to collect the tokens. — Only issue during play is that it bogs down, running slower and slower until I have to quit and remove from memory and then restart to clear the problem. — Only issue within App Support is that, to report an issue, when choosing “No” to get to the “Contact Us” link, that contact link actually is no place on the iOS version page. — Only suggestion is to please add a Setting option to flash the Highest affordable play instead of the Lowest cost play. I can start the next play faster as long as tokens are automatically added while my balance is below 10, so I waste time ignoring the flashing suggestion while looking for an affordable higher cost choice. — oh, yeah, like someone else suggested, please add an “Undo” button like the one in “Nonogram Color,” my other favorite game.

Great game if you have money to give away
Let me start by saying that I love this game. Played it every day. I am a paraplegic in a wheel chair so this game kept me occupied and I loved playing it. That being said, you cannot keep playing the game unless you want to wait days for coins to accumulate or you have to buy coins. They do run special deals on coins at times where you get 1500 for the price of 1000. This is when I would always purchase them. I would buy two “mega packs” which would give me 3000 coins. I was doing this a couple times a week at what should have been $20. But, and it’s a big BUT, several times I was charged for three mega packs instead of two. The first time I didn’t do anything because I thought maybe I ordered three by mistake. After that I was very careful of what I ordered and made sure I only received the 3000 coins. The second time i was overcharged I knew I only received two mega packs, but again was charged for three. I contacted the company and they refunded me for the third pack. All good, play on. The third time it happened I messaged them again and, guess what, they won’t refund the extra pack they charged me for. This game is expensive enough without being overcharged every time you order coins. For this reason I am forced to give up on a game that I really enjoyed playing.

A wonderful logic pic cross puzzle! It's got some good challenges but also not impossible to beat. The color puzzles are a nice change and challenge! The format is nice too! I really love this game and have been playing it for a couple years. I love that there's awesome updates too! A couple of wishes though, I wish you could exchange tokens/gold for coins/ green tokens to play games as I don't often need hints and have a lot of gold racked up. I also feel likes there's a lot a lot of ads even for a free version. I don't mind the watching ads for more levels but sometimes really long ads pop up when I win a level and it can crash the game. I wouldn't mind a pop up picture ad but the videos always cut off music and take forever to get to the next level and I find myself closing the game instead of continuing to play. ( Side question what ads disappear when you buy something? All of them or the banner or? I was unsure. I'll gladly buy something if the video ads go away at the end of levels! ) But for real this game is awesome!

Great game! Just a couple tweaks
I’ve played through about 250 puzzles at this point and have enjoyed it a lot! One issue I see however is that it can be very easy to go through tokens, especially when even some super easy puzzles cost up to 50 tokens (the max I’ve seen) and take a very short time to solve. My suggestion to fix this would be a conversion system from coins to tokens. I do realize this is incentive for the players to purchase more tokens, but for me it is just a deterrent from playing. For players like myself who also don’t like using any hints, this would give some value to the coins. Another fix I’d like to see is a change to the screen where you are selecting your puzzle: when you tap on a puzzle, you can see the part of the picture underneath it that is to be revealed after solving the puzzle. I think this just may be a glitch. Another side note, there are also just a few puzzles I’ve seen so far that have multiple solutions, but that doesn’t really seem to be a problem. Other than that, I think this is a great game! Numerous puzzles to keep you interested for a long time.

I wish I had something to do with my coins?
I really love this game. Yes, the finished puzzles often aren’t recognizable but if I want a beautifully finished puzzle I would just work from a nonogram physical book (I have some that go up to 50x50 grids!), which is much more rewarding anyway. The token system is not my favorite, but I’ve never had the issue of not receiving tokens for a quest, as many others have complained about. Maybe I’m just lucky. I don’t find the “super hard” terribly challenging but they do make me wrack my brain a bit. I’ve been making myself solve “super easy” and “easy” puzzles without using any x’s and that’s given me a new challenge I enjoy. So why, after all this, did I give this three stars instead of five? Because I have 134,290 coins and literally nothing to do with them. I’ve never used a hint and don’t see myself doing that any time soon. Completing the puzzle is rewarding but I always inwardly groan a little when I get coins instead of more tokens. To the developers: If we could convert coins into tokens, even at a high exchange rate, that would ease some of my frustration with this useless commodity. Is this something you’ve ever considered?

Best game ever. OBSESSED!!
11/10 - Such a fun game, addictive and satisfying, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 💓💞💖💝💞💓(=my love for the game) This game is so fun! There are definitely some minor things that I am not the happiest with, but I really enjoy playing the game to a point where I can easily overlook the small problems. I love playing all the puzzles and I like how there are LOADS of puzzles, which ensures that I can continue playing this game for a looong time. I also like that everything I am solving part of a larger picture, and seeing the pictures gradually become complete is satisfying to me. I have seen lots of people complaining about the tokens problems, but I have found ways to deal with that, including watching ads, completing past puzzles, and collecting rewards from puzzles and quests. Only occasionally do I have to resort to complete surveys and that sort of thing, because those are often not what they say they are and end up wasting my time. But overall I am fine with how the whole tokens system is set up.

Love the game, but one MAJOR FLAW!
The game itself is super fun, keeps the mind engaged and thinking. Which is fantastic for everyone who uses these apps for the purposes that I do. Distraction from major pain that I live with every single day. I love the games that can engage my mind so thoroughly, which this does. So great game. BUT ......... the only way to keep playing is to purchase more blocks, with tokens. And there is no way to earn more than 5 tokens in one day, and you can only get those by watching 5 different commercials. Otherwise you have to buy the tokens. That's just ridiculous. And each tiny little square to open costs more than 5 tokens. So you can basically play one box a day without having to purchase anything. Don't make it a free game if you're not going to let us have additional ways to earn tokens for the squares!!!! You should be able to earn tokens for each square you complete, not have to pay for them. Because as I said beforehand. It's a fun game, and not everyone can afford to keep buying squares.

Changing my original review
So initially I reviewed the game as fun but not enjoying the ads. Then I (finally) completed all the quests, only to discover that in order to get enough tokens to play some of the puzzles (30, 40, 50 token ones), I had to wait DAYS for the tokens to build up...unless I wanted to pay. Here’s the deal, I don’t mind to pay $5 and get 2000 tokens and have, at the most, puzzles be 30-token puzzles, but when 80% of the games have squares that are 35+ tokens, you would have to spend a lot of money to even finish. Several days I opened the app, just to get the additional tokens so I could play some of the higher ‘priced’ puzzles but I am about done with that process. You would think the developers would allow you to use these almost-useless coins to purchase more tokens. But if you keep having to wait days to earn enough tokens, then...you’re quickly going to lose customers. Have the tokens generate 10 every 30 minutes CONTINUOUSLY so that you could check back in a few hours and have 60, 80, 100 tokens to work with. That would help. But I’m not spending $100+ to buy tokens for hundreds of tiny puzzles. I totally love the game...but this caused me to reduce it from 4 stars to 2.

Awesome Game
I love this game, pretty much without reservation. Even though I do need to buy tokens sometimes so I can binge play like I like to do, the price is extremely reasonable, I can always get a 50% bonus coupon before I need to buy them, and the need to buy more is fairly infrequent. I almost never feel a pinch when the time comes to buy more and I am a low-income person (sadly). This is an only-slightly-guilty pleasure. If a person just wanted to play a few puzzles per day, they might be able to avoid buying anything, or at least make it a rare occurrence, since players cam get quite a number of free tokens and coins by logging in and watching 30 seconds (or less) of an ad each day. The game itself is challenging, but not frustratingly so. One feels a true sense of accomplishment when finishing some of these puzzles. I must admit, as an older woman, that I feel I am helping in my effort to stave off mental decline by playing this puzzle. Most of all, it’s just fun. I highly recommend it.

I’m addicted.
I downloaded this as a “eh, why not” kind of thing, and it was about one third of the way into the summer pack that I broke my own rule and started buying tokens. 20 a day isn’t enough! Up until now I hadn’t spent a dime on apps for nearly a solid year, so congrats on that, haha. I am seriously hooked on these puzzles, and this app in particular. I’ve tried about five other picross games and they just aren’t as good. I’m glad that they are continuing to add puzzle packs, I’m moving through them so quickly I was starting to think I would eventually beat them all and there wouldn’t be anything left. One very small complaint I have though, is that sometimes the hint key will tell you that you have a row or column filled in wrong, then when you return to it after a few others, what it said was wrong was actually right. That’s annoying, but beyond that, this is one of the best things I’ve picked up, and it’s great to pass the time with, since I’m out of work due to the world ending right now.

Love the game ,not the support BEWARE
I have been enjoying this game so much. The puzzles are in categories making it easier to know what your going to be working on. Everything works well. Daily you get free tokens and/or coins and you can run out fast on tokens if you like playing. They have specials on buying coins and tokens which I took advantage of. This was a special on tokens of 1500 instead of 1000 for $9.99. I took this special and they shorted me 500 tokens. I wrote support they wanted proof of purchase which I sent my PayPal receipt. They then wanted the Apple receipt ,I sent that too. They have not responded now for 2 days nor honored my purchase. Will not purchase from them again and will stop playing once I use up what I have invested. Now that that is taken care of, let’s see about these pictures. In more than one I have found mistakes that make it impossible to complete without using at least 2-3 hits which we shouldn’t have had to. This costs aggravation and money. Please look over your pictures and the grids to follow by.

Tokens are hard/annoying to get
Love the game, there are tons of puzzles to play but the issue is you can only gain up to 10 tokens over time and most of the puzzles cost more than a measly 10 tokens. You can elect to watch advertisements but that’s the equivalent to watching at least 10 minutes of ads for only 10 tokens and shocker plenty of the puzzles cost even more than 20 tokens and then you have to watch another 20 ads just to that back. It’s obvious that they want people to spend money and the fact that playability is so inconsistent really ruins the experience. Edit; yes there are ways to get tokens such as play an already finished puzzle for anywhere from 1-3 token’s depending on difficulty, rarely do I receive tokens as an award for completing a new puzzle but when I do I always opt to watch the video to add ten more tokens to the reward, you can also watch advertisements but the amount you have to do to say reach enough tokens to play a 50 token puzzle is ridiculous, especially considering the cost of the puzzle doesn’t always mean the puzzle is difficult, also doesn’t mean the reward for completion is anything grand.

Love it, I’ve been playing it everyday for about 18 months now, but . . . . . .
I do enjoy this game very much. I’ve never spent money to play any game. I play this one every day. Have completed ~800+? puzzles. I like the variety of levels. I don’t like that the puzzles get so expensive to buy with tokens when you don’t have much way to earn enough to play. When you occasionally receive tokens as your reward for solving a puzzle, you often don’t get them & if you have the chance to receive even more tokens if you watch a video at that same point, you usually don’t get them either. May be a glitch or may be a way to make you feel the need to buy them. I don’t buy them. I don’t mind watching some ads and some even look interesting, but then the ad game frequently isn’t anything like the actual game if you click to check into it further. I love logic & any type of challenge. I think the ads shown for Fishdom & Township look good, but I grew tired of matching a long time ago. I don’t want to build a kingdom or fight a war, I would just like to pull the right pins 🙃

Great game!
I love this game. The puzzles are fun and I find myself spending a lot of time on this game. I understand the complaints about having to spend money for tokens, but for me, it’s not really that big of an issue. Many levels reward you with tokens, and you already get tokens for everyday you play. And again, I get the complaints about the ads. But for me, it’s not that big of an issue. I’m not opposed to the idea of watching an ad to play a level for free, especially when that level is usually 40 tokens. Overall, the ads don’t really impact my ability to play the game, as an ad that takes up a couple seconds of my time is worth it for me. I also really like the idea of all the levels forming a bigger picture, and think it’s really cool to see how much progress I’ve made in each pack. This game has so many levels, I know I’ll never get bored when I have my phone around. Overall, this game is great! I would definitely recommend for anyone who likes puzzles!

One of my favorites.!
This app truly has consumed me for the past half year. Ive spent more money on it than I am willing to admit. At this point, everyone who knows me knows of this game because of how much it consumes me. All in all, amazing game.! I am about 6 maps in and I plan to complete the game because of how fun it is. The only issue I could name from this app is the token system. Regenerating only up to 10 tokens feels very pay-to-win as a lot of the puzzles quickly exceed 13 tokens within moments of playing a new map. A lot of grinding (or payment) is required to be able to freely play the game to relax. The only ways to grind tokens on your own is to replay puzzles, or just stack up on the daily rewarding (or just hoping you get lucky to get the token reward). Grinding 40 tokens for an easy map you can play in under 2 minutes is slightly frustrating. Nevertheless, everything about this app is great.! I think a customize option could also be a great asset to more player enjoyment. This game is very special to me and I cant wait to see the way it improves.

Only Good for Small Sessions
Let me start out by saying the game itself is very solid. The puzzles are good and range a lot in difficulty. I have had a lot of fun playing. That said, this game has a fatal flaw that makes it only playable for about 10-15min a day. You will eventually hit a point where the puzzles cost more of the tokens than the game actually allows you to accumulate for free. 10 tokens is the max you can earn without the daily token reward, purchasing more, or watching a 30-45sec advertisement. More than half the puzzles in each collection cost 11+ tokens to unlock. I now only pay this game once in the morning with the daily tokens payout because paying for tokens would be ridiculous with how many other free games just like this exist. If you just want 1-3 daily puzzles to play for a short period, then this is fine for you to get your fix. However, if you want this to be a puzzle game you can play continuously, then be prepared to fork out money to play because it is impossible to earn enough tokens to even play some puzzles without paying or waiting for your next daily token payout.

Best picross on the App Store
Best picross game on the App Store without a doubt. I love picross and I’ve tried many other versions but find playing them on a small phone touchscreen to be way too fiddly. This games alternate control method works really well! There are so many puzzles and they’re all quite well designed. They can be quite difficult and I’ve had to restart a puzzle many many times but I’ve never had to guess or use hints. The ads/token system is very generous to players who don’t want to spend $$ and you can keep going for a long time before running out of tokens. I enjoy that it throws harder and easier puzzles at you at random, keeps it from getting boring or overly frustrating. My only complaint is I wish that every 5th grid line were bolder or a different color because once you’ve got a lot of squares filled it gets really hard to distinguish them and makes it a lot harder to count squares.

It’s good but it’s not as fun as it could be
I definitely like this app but I don’t love it. It’s more occupying than it is fun—at least for me. I do have a couple suggestions that might make it better but one of them is based on a different but very similar game and might be a big change. 1) Let us zoom in! It’s so hard to press the correct tiny square and I can’t stress enough how annoying it is to constantly be tapping unnecessarily on 5 different squares before getting the right one. 2) I used to play this game on Facebook called colorcross but I can’t find it anywhere else. What I liked about that game is that in each puzzle there were multiple colors and you had to fill in the entire picture. Personally I think it makes it more fun because we can see the picture coming to life while we’re working on it instead of leaving it looking incomplete. I just started playing this game so I’m not sure if this feature shows up later in the game but I’m not very hopeful that it does. It’s a good game but it definitely could be better.

Fun game, but token system is slow
UPDATE - I am increasing the number of stars because I was just a awarded almost 300 tokens. Not sure if that was a result of this review, or because of the apps and surveys mentioned below. If it is because of the apps and games, which I suspect it is, it sure took a long time! But I am happy, and I do still love to play this game! I love the puzzles, so fun to play, but I am abandoning this game. The token system is not working. I try to watch a video for one measly token and it always says I have reached my limit of eight tokens for the day. Do the ten max tokens I earn every half-hour count towards that?? If so, don't give me the ten and let me watch unlimited videos. Isn't that the point anyways? Advertising? Besides, I have also taken countless surveys, downloaded and played numerous games to the point where I should have gotten the tokens promised, but no tokens were actually awarded. I emailed once and they gave me some tokens, but I will not email each time. I am abandoning this game. Till they make the reward token system better.

4 stars and a third of a star rating.
Last year, my mom introduced my younger brother to a game very similar to this game. When he told me about it, I asked my mom to try it with me. I had never tried one of these games before and loved it right away!❤️when I got this game I was soooooo Happy! You did a wonderful job on lots of it! Its Very fun. Keep that in mind. It keeps me very occupied during quarantine. I have just a few problems though. (1 my first suggestion is to do a zoom in. Without one it makes it challenging to play this wonderful game!😕 (2 I love all of the work you have done here, and I love that you have to finish one puzzle to play another, but is it possible that you could make a way to either buy them or make a way that you could do a puzzle that’s in a level I haven’t been able to unlock yet? I very much recommend if you’re looking for a good puzzle game. Congrats!🎉 you got to the bottom of this comment! it took me 1 whole hour to right!😅😮 Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a AMAZING day/night! Goodbye!👋🏻

Challenging and slightly addictive
I started it expecting it to be some kind of easy, connect-the-dot game and I’d get bored of it within the first five minutes. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s actually quite challenging. I had to look over the strategy guide in “help” a few times before I got the hang of it. Even then, I will get stuck on a puzzle for a while. All of the puzzles seem to be completable without “hints”, despite what other reviews I’ve seen have claimed. It takes some critical thinking at times is all. All in all I enjoy the challenge, and it seems to get a little easier the more you play as you start to recognize patterns. Not so easy it becomes mundane though. I also enjoy the background music, a bit of jazzy percussion or impressive piano while you play. Would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for a few things, such as horrible pixel art and the grid can be kind of annoying to press on accurately. I know there is a setting to help the grid issue, but I wasn’t fond of it. Otherwise a fun and challenging game!

Not Even Microtransactions Let Me Play More.
I love almost every bit of this game. The mechanics, the personality, each and every puzzle, and all the little details in the art. It’s super fun to play, I just wish I could play it more. The token system really made things hard on how much I can play the game, considering I need to wait to play or I pay. And considering the wait time on tokens has a max limit of 10 tokens, that means you can’t play any puzzles that have more than ten tokens (which could be all that’s left, meaning you have to wait for the daily tokens the next day). I even paid ten dollars for 1500 tokens, but those only lasted a little under half a week. I just want to play your awesome game more, but the token system keeps me from doing that. Even paying doesn’t let me play whenever I want. This is the one blatant issue I have with the game, and I would really appreciate it if tokens could at least be replenished to twenty tokens or something (you would have to wait in-game to get ‘em, though). If possible, just try to make getting more puzzles not so much trouble to get.

Amazing step in the right direction.
I want to first start this off by saying my previous review was in poor taste and something I shouldn’t have written. I will be honest, I felt a lot of what I said was justified but it was really vial and I’m sorry for what I said. I do have to admit that this game is by far one of the best of its kind. While it does get a little bit bogged down the longer you run the game, it’s all very responsive and pretty enjoyable. This game is a favorite past time for me when I need a break from it all. I’m proud to see the changes and I’m really enjoying not being bombarded by in house ads and etc. . The puzzles feel fresh and learning them for later use it amazing too! There are great opportunities to work towards your goal rather than buying your way there. I’m proud of this game and I commend you for the changes you all have implemented. Thank you!! As stated I should be ashamed!! “As stated you all should be ashamed.”

My good review of this game will be mentioned last
This game is fun until the need to spend money comes into playing the game. You get a max of ten coins to recharge. Most of the puzzles cost more than that to unlock. 11 coins to unlock a puzzle and sometimes 40 to unlock others. How can I avoid paying money to finish it? They offer watching ads but you only get 5 coins maximum and other times they don’t even offer watching ads to earn a whopping one coin per ad. So now I’m at a point where I’ve worked through all of the puzzles and now I have to wait for the daily reward of just opening the app without playing just to save up enough coins to play maybe one puzzle every couple of days. This game is pay to win. My love for the game started at two stars for the frustration but now I change it to one star because now I’m talking about it. Make a game to be fun but if you’re going to charge for it, charge me, don’t charge my loyalty. You won’t get any money out of me for coins to continue playing a game. I’d rather pay 0.99 with ads than pay you 9.99 for enough coins to keep me paying for maybe an hour. This game is good. It’s worth charging money for. But it’s not worth charging you continuously.

Very good game, just needs some tuneups
The game is very fun and addicting. I especially like the new color-specific puzzles that make it more challenging. Couple things they need to fix to make this game 5 stars: 1. Make the cost of each puzzle visible without having to click on each square. I’ve wasted so much time clicking around 50 squares to find one I can “afford” with my current coin total. Would be so much better if you just put the amounts on the puzzles themselves, show only the ones we can afford in some other way, or let us search for ones in a certain range of prices. 2. Stop ripping people off. I spent some money to buy a bunch of coins early on in the game and I assumed I spent enough to open every puzzle. But i was WAYYY off. It’s not worth buying coins unless you’re willing to spend 100s of dollars. And if you are, I almost feel bad for you. Just wait for the daily “allowance” and spend those coins. It keeps you from being too addicted and doing all the puzzles at once anyways.

Predatory spam from attempting to earn tokens
I really enjoy this game, however something strange happened when I tried to earn tokens from taking a survey. The survey I attempted claimed to be for KFC. The actual questions in the survey had no substance nor anything to do with KFC, and at the end of the question it requested contact information. I put fake information except for my email, in case I needed to receive an email to get the tokens. It then redirected me to some other site and asked for more info, and ultimately I gave up and did not earn any coins. The next day, I started receiving emails from Judicial Watch, an ultra-conservative right wing nonprofit organization. I unsubscribed immediately, but kept receiving emails from them. I have unsubscribed multiple times, to no avail. Not once in that process was Judicial Watch mentioned, and I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to collect emails in such a misleading/concealed manner? I’m wondering if anyone else has had this same issue, and also requesting that the developers take more care in what kind of advertisements they put into their games.

Great Game
The game is fun and challenging at most levels. Realize this is a free game that is supported by ads. After each level an ad will pop up. The ads are repetitive. Same ads play over and over and you get to the point where you don’t even engage in the ads because you have seen the same ad over and over right after each level. At least mix the ads up! As in other reviews, it’s frustrating to advance in the game after you get to a certain level because of tokens. You can earn tokens several ways- you can get that as a daily bonus, they regenerate within a certain period up to 10 tokens and on certain levels you can get bonus tokens. When a level costs more than 10 tokens you will only be able to play one level that day. What fun is that? When you want to play a game, don’t you normally want to play more than a few minutes? It’s a shame that it’s such a great game and you have to ration your tokens and strategize how to use your tokens to play a level?

Enjoyable game but needs bugs fixed
I find the game enjoyable and relaxing. With various grades of difficulty you can choose the level of play according to your mood. However, there is a bug with the token rewards. I don’t mind watching ads to get rewards, and gladly if watching one offers to double the token reward (as some daily rewards do). What really annoys me is when I watch the ad then not only do not get the double tokens, but get none at all!!! This has happened several times. Since the developers are parsimonious when it comes to tokens in the first place, I’m now often left without enough tokens to play. Also for two days I hadn’t enough tokens (2) to play a game and the board did not display one of those flashing video icons on a square that would enable free play. Also, when I reached and achieved the 300 puzzles solved challenge I expected I’d get some reward - preferably tokens - and got nothing. I thought that was pretty awful - a real let-down. If they fixed the bugs, I’d give them 5 stars.
