One of the worst shopping apps I’ve used. I do most of my shopping on line. This is the worst I’ve used. It doesn’t flow from process to another. I wanted to go back and look at what I’d purchased, you can’t click on the item and see anything after the fact check. Once it’s done, you can only see there was an order not look at it for part reference. All the great shopping apps let you look and see what you’ve purchased. Also it gives you a number to click on to call for customer service but it’s like a door leading to nowhere, it doesn’t work. The app definitely needs some work. I downloaded the app it offered $20 off my first purchase, that didn’t work either. Designers pulled the trigger too soon. another
I was ordering products using the app, and I continually had to go back to the webpage to see details such as item dimensions, etc. (Details on the website were very sketchy as well, but that’s another story — Pier 1 should try to emulate Wayfair’s online presence!) The whole ordering experience made me wonder why you’d even have the app if it actually provides less convenience and ease of shopping for the customer than the internet site.
I wouldn’t normally think to write a review for a shopping app, but I’m just really bothered that there’s no way to filter out items that are sold out. When looking under ‘dinnerware’ no way to filter out napkin rings either. I just want to look at available plates but that isn’t very easy. Very minor thing though, app seems fine otherwise
Impossible to disconnect the notifications once they start!
I’m going to have to google a phone number for customer service. The mobile app has NO contact information whatsoever. All you can do is purchase. Pretty clever but not smart in the long run. Theirs will be the last app I go to from now on to look for stuff.
The app is ok as far as apps go but the reason I have it 2/5 stars was because when you search a topic, the list of items it shows are so small you can’t see them (Andy phone has a large screen). Fix that and would probably be a 5/5. Gave up trying to find what I was looking for though so can t actually speak to the checking out experience.
Pier I was always my go-to store for personal purchases for our home as well as presents for special occasion. Now that the store has closed, I no longer order anything. Looking at a picture is different than hands on. Plus, like everything else, the prices are out of line. I enjoy what I have from your store, but I am no longer a customer.👎👎👎
Every time I get on the site you are always out of stock! I love the patchouli anything, I never see the refills in the diffuser big bottles anymore or the little bottles of oils in patchouli, vintage linen, or pink champagne! I absolutely love those scents (Patchouli & Cardamom, Vintage Linen, & Pink Champagne). The last order one of the Patchouli & Cardamom was broken, thank goodness I bought 3!
Very simplistic functionality. App only works in portrait orientation. Item descriptions are sparse, lacking in specs and dimensions in many cases. No ability to filter within product categories. This app will probably be useful for checking to see if Pier 1 carries a specific item I’m shopping for, but I won’t ever use it for browsing.
Disappointed by the app, you can’t even filter for anything. Very frustrating since I never use my computer, developers should fix and make more user friendly before they lose customers
Only had it two days and it won’t stay open more than a second!
I’m getting ads for blowout sales and deals for using the promo for the app and I can’t shop for anything because every time I open the app it immediately closes. Can’t go to a brick and mortar store either. Used to love this store
you can’t get to the description, it is difficult to find what you want on the site because it’s so difficult to navigate. I am very disappointed as the last I was better. What were they thinking? hire a middle school nerd. I’m sure he can do better than this.
You people sell furniture! One of the most important things to know about a piece of furniture, especially when you’re doing mail order, is the measurements of the peace. What is wrong with you. Maybe 1/3 of the pieces of furniture I looked at actually had measurements in the description. Waste of time
I’m bath dept. I scrolled and scrolled and saw mostly sold out items. What good does that do? Encourage us to pick second or third choice? Nope - I’ll shop somewhere else. Because I can’t touch or feel products, my choices are even more limited to “good faith” purchases - don’t want to START with 2nd and 3rd choices!
Loved the store. This app is so lacking product info it’s absurd. Also when did pier one bar stools that I’ve purchased before get to over 600 each on sale?! They do the job but they aren’t that great. I’ll go to Pottery Barn. Wanted to like this but really needs a redesign.
I love Pier 1, but this app doesn’t make it easy to find things. Once you select a category, you can’t filter to narrow the results so you have to scroll through every single item in the category.
I purchased some Christmas ornaments for my tree. They did not work so I wanted a refund. My items did not say no returns. They did give me an in-store credit but that is not what I wanted.
This the worst retail app I’ve ever used. Products are poorly displayed. Filters either aren’t available or don’t work. I love Pier One products but they just lost me as a customer
I just find the shipping outrageous! I so miss Pier One stores and Steinmart. They were the best! I would have bought more but $12.95 was as much as the candle was originally. I have many items from the stores. Mirrors, tapestries, furniture etc. Sure miss going in to Pier one once a week!
Weeks ago I ordered $200.00 worth of Ginger Peach liquid (I forget exact title)and NEVER received it!!! My credit card was charged , order was supposedly shipped and then absolutely nothing and you people are impossible to get in touch with!!! I am so disappointed with this service and if this is the way you do business BRING THE STORES BACK!!! What can be done about this fiasco? Constance M Ponder - OH
I was SO excited to be able to order online. I downloaded the app, and chose the LeVien ornament I wanted. What a bargain! 14.95 . There were 2 choices but no way to choose. The payment page wouldn’t accept the code “FRIDAY”. I went through chat and finally got it to tell me a real person would call me. NOPE. Didn’t happen. Tried again. Nothing. Again, nope. Emailed a request (twice) to speak to a representative and still no call. I now know why all the stores closed. Customer service is non existent.
The Pier One app might as well be titled non-existent! I tried to create an account using the app, but it doesn’t recognize my email nor the password I set up. Instead I used the store web site and ordered a cute kitty basket for toys. This basket was on sale for $109.59 so I ordered it (it was very cute). Two days later I wanted to check if the order was in fact placed, but there was no order number, nor anyway to directly contact PIER 1 as the app didn’t work, so I didn’t have an account according to the app. However, PIER 1 did charge my credit card. I have sent two emails via the customer support email to PIER 1, but no answer back as to an order number, shipping date, tracking…still the app doesn’t work! So I am going to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge as PIER 1 has fraudulently charged my card with what appears to me as no intention to make a proper sale of goods. It would be my recommendation that buyer be very aware in any dealings with PIER 1. Shameful, but this store used to be one of my favorite shopping places, but not since they have closed their brick and mortar shops. Barbara Tinkle Jacksonville, FL
