I am a hard core fan of PB. I have relationships with staff at several branches and I love having 7 day access with your in-store locations. I have nothing but good things to say about Pinnacle Bank and we share our positive relationship with others who are looking for financial help, locally owned bank support, and personal relationships. Thank you and keep up the great work we’ve come to enjoy. Please feel free to contact me if I can help the bank spread the quality messages about the bank which are backed up by staff action, by staff behavior, and awesome kindness. I can even name the staff I work with generally at three locations. I would be happy to if it furthers their recognition of their efforts or opportunities to grow within the bank. In its previous versions, this app has been extremely useful and has had all the functions I would have asked for (mainly balance checking and remote deposit). However, recently an update was required for me to open it, and ever since then it will not pass the loading screen. I’ve given it up to about two minutes, restarted my phone, closed everything running in the background, etc. but it would appear that, although the documentation states that it is compatible with my device, it is in fact not. This is quite disappointing, and I hope a software patch comes quickly so I’m able to regain the functionality of the app and give it the 4-5 star rating it’s deserved in the past.
Just opened an account yesterday and downloaded the app, The app worked the first time I opened it, I set up everything and then it crashed, every time I open the app I would put in my Touch ID and it freezes then closes. Had an update 2 minutes ago and it still doesn’t work.
I 100% love PB. This review is just for the app. I love the Instant Balance and transfer features. Quick and easy to use. I feel like my only annoyance with the app is that it doesn’t have a feature where it notifies you of your transactions. It would be nice to get a text or notification instead of having to log in each time. I have other bank apps that offer the convenience. Hopefully PB will, too.
We love the mobile app until we misplace a check we have deposited. There appears to be no way to access the check photos that are submitted and there is no place to enter the check info on the deposit form.
When it works, it’s great. But when I try to submit a deposit with a light colored check, it often tells me I have submitted two pictures of the front, even though I took separate pictures of both the front and back. Sometimes it will work if I log out and log back in. Other days, I’ve tried 5 times and it still won’t work.
I’ve tried to create an account to look at my balance so many times and the app just tells me that they are unable to process the information. Just want to know what my balance is and I can’t even get into my account
This app does the job but needs to be updated. The website and the app both look ancient. It would be nice for this to look a bit more modern and also maybe even roll in the Pinnacle Bank card control app into this app. Seems a bit unnecessary to have a separate card control app.
If you like your banking app to work most of the time, this is the one for you. I’d say at least twice a week it has login problems. 65% of the time it works all the time. When it does work it is really a great app. Needs to work on their reliability.
I have used the mobile app for years. I attempted to use it recently and it won't let me update because I do not want to update to the 10.0. it won't let me use the older version. I have had poor luck with Pinnacle bank in the last few years. I opened a banking free account. No charges to my account. Now they charge me every month, pay for money orders etc. It is a worthless bank.
Every update this bank puts out on their app makes it worse. Signing in now forces you to type in your password or search through your old passwords. Face ID automatically turns itself off every time I sign in. Also, the bank performs maintenance over night so the app is usually down for maintenance if the sun isn’t shining. I hate this app and this bank.
Like I said above pb is great but that app needs some updating it would be nice to get some alerts when a transaction is used and the one thing that bugs me is half the time it doesn’t let you log in you have to call
Pinnacle bank for all other intents purposes is a great financial institution. The only issues I have experienced recently are with the app it self and the local ATMs. Extremely inconvenient for this app to be down for several hours or unable to gain access. And the local ATMs are frequently out of service. Very frustrating.
The lack of support on this app is staggering. The Touch ID function just straight up stopped working a few months ago. And now the app won’t even load because it insists I have no network connectivity...with the same network connectivity with which I am leaving this review. *facepalm*
The only way I can comprehend the good reviews is that people have never seen/used other banks apps. Sorry, this one looks unprofessional, is slow to load, and offers limited functionality compared to others.
Tried to open the app this morning but it said there was a new version I needed. I clicked the Update Now button on that screen and it took me to the App Store where there was only an Open now button. Clicked that and it took me back to the same screen. Unable to update. Unable to get into my account from my phone period. Please add a 'Go to Full Site' link (for personal accounts) on your mobile browser. If there is one please make it more noticeable. Other wise I love this app. I don't do any deposits from it. I just look at account balances and transfer money between accounts and for that it works perfect. Thank you.
My stubborn wife didn't want to switch banks when we got married, so I transferred my accounts from Wells Fargo to Pinnacle Bank. The bank staff are extremely courteous and helpful and I can only find nice things to say about them. However, I am sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed in the mobile app. The first item of disappointment was the lack of Touch ID support. This is solely a matter of laziness, however, and I was willing to overlook it. Next, I didn't see anywhere in the app that allows you to schedule bill payments. This should be a very basic feature of any mobile banking app. About the only thing that this app is useful for is checking your balance, transferring money between Pinnacle Bank accounts and finding physical Pinnacle Bank locations. Maybe I was spoiled by getting to use Wells Fargo's app in the first place, but I suspect that, even if I hadn't been, this app would have still been a huge letdown. Come on, Pinnacle Bank; jump into the 2010s and start expanding your app. Most people conduct the majority of their business on the go and through their mobile devices these days. PLEASE expand this app to be capable of doing more than calling in to an automated menu based answering system. Your customers would thank you for it.
The app works and does what it needs to do but it's always a bit behind with features that bigger banks have had for a while. I've tried to use the instant balance view for my accounts on the latest version and although I have activated it in the settings it gives me an error when I try to access it on the homepage. The app works for what you need it to do but don't expect anything too advanced.
I have been using this app for almost 4 years. It is not much better today as it was when I first started using it. It is very generic looking and pretty featureless. Don't expect to do much with app. Of course it works for checking your account balances and I'm certain you can transfer money between accounts. If you are looking for more, such as bill pay, you be sol and should keep looking.
