Ever since the iPhone 7plus came out with 2 front cameras I have been waiting for an app like this. I hoped Apple would do it. Now I hope they buy this from you and incorporate it into their default camera app. A few requests. 1: Add the ability to save as a “Dynamic Wallpaper” so you can see the tilt effect on your lock and background screens! 2: Add a share function that saves an obj 3d model. 3: Add a share function that saves a 2d image with the depth info in an alpha channel. I cannot do this app now because I needed it, because I wanted to look at it and try it out. I created my first 3-D image and it came out pretty good so I went to share it to Twitter to get my friends’ reaction to this neat wiggling 3D photo curiosity… But immediately a puppet came up and wanted me to pick which way I want to pay… Either for the whole program at once or a never ending $1.49 a month. So I thought…why would I pay for the app if I don’t even know if the social media platforms I use can even support this feature? I also think the app developer is making a mistake by not allowing at lease 3 social media uploads for free…Just think of all the free direct word of mouth advertising he is missing out on! So then I hit the back button to at least save the image I created to my own photo library…and would you believe they don’t even allow THAT for free? 😳 I deleted the dammed app from my iPad. 🙄
BUT it does not give you the ability to save 3D versions of snapshots in your pictures. You can only post them to Facebook and not on your device. It also does not show changes to your photo album. I temporarily deleted over 100 snapshots from my iCloud to make it easier to make 3D images. I still have to scroll through them even though I deleted them. It is extremely annoying. Another issue is certain custom options cut off a lot of the snapshot when you crop it. Lastly, light colored font added to snapshots are not carried over. They are blurry and you are unable to see it. Otherwise, it basically does what I want it to do.
I’ve only used it a little bit so far, but I am really liking it. It doesn’t always give good results, but when it does, it’s great. I also like what it does with the areas it can’t capture. It’s not perfect by any means, but it is much better than some other similar apps where they just stretch the image to fill the space. One thing I would love to have is the ability to upload portrait photos on to this. Also, when zooming into a photo, it doesn’t allow you to move the image around. Other than that, great job!
So far everything is still free so already I’m happy about that. But the ease of use is great. They went with “let’s make buttons that do exactly what they say” . I like that philosophy. I would have given them points just because the buttons worked at all, but these are well marked. You press the button that says “center” and it centers the image. I love it. America, what a country
Super cool and useful app for converting a 2d image into a 3D space. As an amateur filmmaker I can go to a location, take a few photos and then with poppic I can turn those photos into a full 3D scene. The effects are awesome! I had a few suggestions on improvements to the app and the developer could not have been more humble and appreciative. Excited to see where he goes with it!
Super cool app. Love it!! I have it at 4 stars because I (personally) feel it could have just a tad more. Please give us diagonal movement in the custom movements!! The auto system works pretty dang well. It would be nice to be able to adjust it more precisely somehow with like a mask, but I’m not sure how their software works and if that could be possible. But that’s just some feedback of what I would love to see in the app. Otherwise is pretty freaking awesome!!!! Love the effects and the backgrounds, just super cool.
Have a few minor options that show blank in the background, but still a great app. Hopefully, the background issues will be fixed prior to making a lifetime purchase. For now I will wait, in the hopes Pop-pik fixes the issues. If the meantime I will be looking at other competitive options. Really like this program, but will keep looking, for now.
I was looking for another camera for my phone. Did not like the one that came with it. In my search I ran across your camera. I said, “Ya, Right”. Download to check it out. To tell the truth, I never looked back. Great camera, photos, & easy to use. I'm an “old goat-77yoa” I am having more fun taking pictures than I have in years. Thank you.
iPhone’s portrait mode + Facebook 3D gives you 3D photos. Now, why in the world wouldn’t iPhone by itself support that right out of the box? Well, fret no more. This app does just that. And it does it well. I’m sure they’ll be tons of apps doing the same thing soon, or Apple itself will come out with the feature. But for now, you will be well served. Thumbs up.
This apps the best but I had to buy an iPad Pro just to get this app, because on my iPad mini 4 it doesn’t support this app. So if you can PLEASE make it available on iPad mini 4s and then this apps the best app in the history of the world!!! This is a very clever app. It snaps a photo and turns it into a fake but very well done 3-D photo. I’ve only used it a few times, but I’ve been very impressed with its ability to produce lifelike 3D photos. I haven’t seen if it can do the same for pre-existing photos.
With PopPic one can take very regular photos of normal things, but the 3d processing takes those photos to a new level that you and your social media network will enjoy. If you have a pet, animal photos seem to come out the most expressive and profound for some reason. For some reason some photos taken seem to break apart, and straight vertical lines bend like a curved road when viewed at certain angles, while others stay intact and look phenomenal, more 3d than ‘portrait’ photos taken from the iOS regular camera app. If the app maker could just perfect and prevent the breaking apart & vertical line wobble effect that happens, this will be probably the best 3d photo app available and I hope PopPic makes PopVideo next!
As others have said before, the info provided in the update description is vague. I was excited with my new update so I just opened the app, chose a photo to share, then it said I had to create an account to share it. Wait.....What? Why? It wasn’t required before and I wasn’t informed of the change. I’m done with this app. Why can’t developers openly state the MAJOR changes to their app only? Not each bug fix, just the big ones. Honesty and transparency is like a lost art form nowadays. Deleting this app. In response to the “developer response” below who outlined why the accounts are now necessary to send 3D photos, you just made my point. When I went to update the app, none of that was stated anywhere in the app update information. It’s a major change that is different than when I shared 3D images on your app before. To each his own.
I was excited about this app, I really was. Then I took my first photo to see how good the 3D effect was and the picture quality was hideous! The main object of the photo looked ok but then There was a quarter inch blur or smearing of the colors around the main object of the photo and the background was very low quality. After you saved the photo and looked at it you could tilt your phone and see the background basically just shift, but the 3D effect was not there in the least. Now if they can figure out how to make the 3D effect more accurate this could be a hit app!
I have iPhone 8 plus. App does work. Initially I thought I had a problem saving images, but then found that the 3D image saved, but could not be seen as 3D unless opened in the app. Rating is 4 stars instead of 5 because I think an info page inside the app that explains the controls with tips and explains the behavior of saved and shared images would be better.
This app is really nice but I wish it had an option to control where the center of focus is in z (depth). There should be a way to adjust it forward or backward in depth space - to bring the “pivot” forward to the screen, for an example, as though it were a window. I feel as though this should be an obvious thing to adjust but it isn’t here.
It's better than another app, and love the quality of the photo. Simple to use. I wish there will be more features. I realized that it doesn't allow us to use the front camera, unable to focus, and when uploaded to Facebook, it shows up as a video, and not a photo. Is there any chance more feature will be added? I think if we purchased the app, we should be able to do more than eliminate the app logo.
Got this yesterday and it blows me away. My new iPhone 12 Pro Max has the 2 lenses I need to take FANTASTIC three-dimensional images. Whoever invented this app is a genius! I haven’t seen one ad and no subscription crap! Just a super cool utility that is stopping my friends in their tracks. Thanks!!!
I think it’s really cool I do , but I think it would be even better if you can use pictures from your own gallery too instead of just having to take a picture . There are pictures that I have in my own gallery that I think would be really cool with the 3D effect but with this app it doesn’t give the option to get to your gallery to use those pictures
You can not download these pictures to your camera roll ! I’ve purchased the full version and I can’t see how to get a refund!! In fact you can only get pictures in your camera that either related to the person or things that are in front of a background!! I’m just frustrated to the limited use !! After you take a picture and want to share it, you will only get a link to the picture to bring you back to the app ! Some phones are limited in app space !!
Good product with great clean user interface. I would use it frequently if one I could adjust/slow down the video effect speed. While ‘neat’ to appreciate the video clip output - staring at motion (up/down) gives me a sense of seasickness/jitters versus technical beauty. Speed needs chillax setting. For time being I’m parking app on phone to await hopeful free update ... or $0.99 upgrade option to adjust the speed.
This app is great I really like it. I have it 5 stars and usually I don’t take the tome to write a review but I feel like Dazz cam is so overrated and this app is so underrated. Not to compare the 2 because they both work different. This app is really cool because you can turn it around and stuff.

This app is fun with the 3D photos and use with other photos already done or you can take them. It’s amusing and very cool. I would give a five star but you can’t zoom in very much which I am not happy with and the only think not very happy with , otherwise I enjoy app very much.
However it lacks of many manual controls in camera mode comparing Focos. Also, if the photo is edited in the builtin Albums. it ignores the editing. Finally it provides no after-shoot color editing tools, thus making this app a mere 3d photo viewing tool.
This app makes taking pictures so much fun. It offers such a unique function. In my opinion, it’s better than the filters other apps offer because it makes the pictures feel alive.
To add to camera roll? I don’t want a video that auto move the 3D image. I do not want to post to Facebook. I would like to save the image and send to a friend who can then manually move there phone on their own and enjoy the image. Have the image bounce back and forth via video kills the joy. Update this and stop not responding to people. Perfect way to kill your business.
After some issues setting up an account I contacted the site via email. They got back to me with further instruction and I was able to set up the account. Does what it’s supposed to do once you’re set up!
Noticed my X gets hot when I use it, but no crashes or issues. It really works! My only complaint: I wish it would crop a little to hide the jaggy edges of the effect when you viewed completed photos. Maybe even better if the app allowed custom crops beyond that. But I love everything about this app. Especially the ability to selectively change focus after the pic is taken and change depth of field. Well done guys! Well done. UPDATE: Thanx for the feature update in the latest release! Portrait mode support just made this 1000X more awesome. :-)
I would give it 5 stars except the fact that not all the photos in my camera can be used. It’s saying that’s it doesn’t include the depth for 3D viewing. Can you somehow let us know what depth is necessary so we can make the changes in our photos. So we can use all our photos in the camera roll thank you.
It is a lot of fun I’m enjoying it! My dog is looking different from the camera I need to get a good shot of him. I need to try different places and things with this. . I will definitely take it to the beach and on vacation.
I was trying to find a way to make one of my photos look 3D, so I got this app. But all it dose is let you move around the photo. And when you do, the mark from when an object was before is still there. It also (when you move the object,) it makes it blurry and have bad Quality: I thought the app made your pictures 3D, so you can rotate them 360 degrees. But it dosent. At ALL...!😡👎😡
It is ok it has cool backgrounds and there is potential. They want you to pay them 7.99 and if you don’t want to pay it then you don’t get the full experience. So it is possible that you might like it but be careful because no money then you don’t get HALF of the filters!!!

The expectation that the user will simply take a picture and forward it to his or her contact is a pipe dream. The purpose of this application is to exploit the user and leverage that information for monetary gain. How hard would it be to charge $2.99 for the application and give the user unfettered freedom to send their pictures without the requirement of a social media account. DELETED!
This app would be great if you could share the photo. It only lets you share as a moving video which stinks. There has to be a way to save the 3D photo to the album and then share to whoever I want. Add this feature and it will be 5 stars.
Bought the years subscription and since then your logo takes up whole bottom of picture. Pushed hide logo but when published still comes on and ruins it. Wrote you on your email and came back as no such address
This seems like a nice app for all the dual-camera phones, and I wished that it worked for my iPhone XR. I would suggest an alternate AR mode for single-camera phones so the app will work across all devices. If that ever happens, this app will be five stars no matter what.

The effect only functions in the app. The pic copy saved to your camera roll does not display the effect. There was a user that reported the same issue a year ago and apparently it’s still not fixed.
