I liked the older version of the app where I directly login into my account. This new one just annoys me cuz when I open the app, I am directed to the tab with offers. I'm just not interested in them. Wish they'd go back to the older version
In 2020, I began having trouble on my desktop with PriorityOneCU’s app. PriorityOneCU’s representative said it was my desktop. So, I called Apple support, and after more than an hour of diagnostic tests, I was told there was nothing wrong with my computer. I was advised to check with the credit union and ask if they would ask the programmer for PriorityOneCU why I was having so much trouble with the website. Their answer was “The website is fine.” I’m thankful that my cell phone could hold PriorityOneCU’s website securely. In March of 2022, something told me to look at PriorityOneCU’s app in the Apple store and see what devices it would accept. Along with mobile phones and the Apple Watch it also accepted “M1” devices. In researching, I discovered that M1 is the new computer chip, and that the chip in my iMac was an “intell chip.” So, once I traded in my vintage computer and got one with an M1 chip, I was able to capture PriorityOneCU’s app. I haven’t figured how to click on and make it a “favorite,” because I don’t see a URL bar.
Whoever thought that it was a good idea to remove the available balance from the opening is screen has no understanding of what people want. Who cares about the current balance, I think often times people want to know the Available balance instead. The idea of updating apps is to improve them, not make them worst. I have multiple credit unions and it seems that this is a generic app credit unions use. No wonder they lack some of the features compared to credit unions that develop their own apps, like Navy Federal. Like instead or calling or going into a branch you can submit a travel notification through the app and it’s effective immediately. One of the few reasons I am seriously thinking about discontinuing using credit unions that use this app.
This app is a bit sluggish and sometimes it doesn’t log me in so I have to close the app and reopen it but overall it’s a great app and I can do most of anything I need. Worth downloading and having.
The apps has issues. i have used the different “updated” app versions, this is between first and second to the worse. The developer should be sued for having access to all my data. There is no opt out, but the one thing the developer doesn’t want is diagnostics?! that is a real hostage move.
Im glad theirs a feature to FINALLY remember my account info so I dont have to type it in each time. Now if we could get it where we can use our cards with apple/samsung pay then id be happy.
