Love this app but a little confusing on pricing and logos
So I love this app!! I mean absolutely love it! I used it often and you get 8 free cut outs everyday before you can pay per photo or choose a subscription option. So I had chose a monthly subscription and when I would get billed it was for $5 more than what it was supposed to be. But the logo shown was different then the logo on my phone or in my subscription list in the settings of my iPhone abs Apple ID. Do I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from or what it was that I was paying $9.99 a month for so I contacted apple and was refunded. Obviously that canceled my subscription and I figured all of this out. Since then they have added a lifetime subscription which I immediately took advantage of. I’m still learning how to use all the features this app has to offer but what I love most is the cutouts it pretty much does all the work for you and is do accurate it’s almost unbelievable
This is great for content creators that are uploading big files and can’t wait because they have jobs to go to and they upload a video so as for me I have to wait until my video is completely uploaded for me to make my thumbnail because the app that I use is associated with the website that I’m uploading my video so until my videos completely uploaded I can’t make my thumbnails well with this I can make my son now and I already have it ready to go and attach it to the file so as soon as my videos done all I have to do is let it go public and this way I don’t have to wait or waste another day because I get home late night he could go out that same dayAnd at the fraction of the cost of other expensive cropping and editing some now creators this does a lot more and is way better
I have never made a positive review before, I figure let people decide that for themselves, but when a developer/dev team shell out amazing update after update, eventually something has to give, and the last straw for me was the AI painting function added about 4 hours ago by the time this is written. I bought the life for png converting, and realized this app had so much more to offer, and is only getting better, seriously one of my greatest content-creating investments by far. You don’t have to put up money to see how good it is, so try it for yourself if your trying to get into that hobby.
I use this app all the time and it works very well. I love the option to save things with a transparent background or not. I also love how easy it is to take the background out of things! I would totally recommend this because it is free and simple to use. Some apps have way too much going on or the layout is confusing, but that’s definitely not the case with this one! I’ve been using it for 6 months now and I have absolutely no complaints! Btw: when I open the app it says “konckout” instead of knockout. Just thought I should let you know.
Works great until the upgrade to 14 if your Apple product won’t upgrade to 14 don’t bother to buy
Purchased this product for work.I needed some light photo editing software for certain items that I do it works great the upgrade came and I have an older iPad I did not upgrade to 14 now every time I open it or try to use it is simply crashes. I am extremely disappointed especially the price that I paid and it works so well at the beginning obviously they either need to fix that since it says it still works on my iPad or say that it doesn’t work on this iPad anymore I know that I’m out the money. I’m extremely disappointed that this did not live up to the expectation and they don’t have a properly fixed to work with my iPad and the 14 patch again another disappointment from an Apple product
I’ve used this app for years now and it is genuinely the best app for photoshop I’ve used. But recently it’s been getting some very unnecessary updates that completely change how things work with zero explanation on how to use the new system. My main problem rn is I am completely unable to access my custom stickers which I use for editing when just before the update I could access them easily via the sticker tab. Now it just shows an empty screen asking for sticker suggestions. It’s beyond frustrating. Besides that though it’s a great app.
Usually I have to get on a computer to do my editing, but my family hardly gets off the computer. So I downloaded a bunch of apps like mobile pixlr, edits, and etc (none of them worked) But one day, I was reading a webtoon when I read that photoshop would be a great keyword. Then I scrolled down a bit, found some bad reviews about this app, and tried it out. I think the reason why people are giving this bad reviews is because they're too impatient to wait and go through the details. It's a great app, and it's just what I needed!
This is one of the best photo editing apps I’ve seen, which is why the addition of Ai art generation puzzles me. For creating people it uses an anime model, which is fine, but 90% of what you type will generate an error. This includes perfectly harmless one-word prompts such as “vampiress” or “dancer” or “teacher” Often it will fail 5 times before succeeding, and even copying the beginning of their example prompts sometimes generates an error. I assume they will work out the bugs because it’s new, but there are 1000 much much better options for Ai art they should not have launched this until it worked.
I fell in love with it. I was impressing my family and friends with my art through this app. I went to make something and it kept kicking me off the app. note for buyers;don’t buy anything in this app!!! I will not delete the app because I like its features I hope it will start working. So get the app it’s cool but it’s not worth buying anything. So the point in this tittle is saying why buy this app when other apps like it work better? And they don’t stop working. So that’s how I feel I’m NOT to thrilled with this app.
I stumbled upon this app and oh my gosh what a game changer. I’m still learning all the various tools but what I was able to do was to take the photographs I took of the recent dance and cut out the couples and put them in individual backgrounds of Hawaii as it was a luau party… Everyone was thrilled to receive the photographs of them standing with the ocean palm trees and warm Sands rather than the backdrop of the Dance hall. The potential is there to do some pretty amazing things for friends family and community. Thank you
Love the app but don’t buy the full version until they fix....
I absolutely love this app but at some point a change was made and now when I try to save a superimpose image it the pic has a line about 1/4 of the way down and then the picture starts over and I lose about 1/4 of the picture at the bottom. I bought that full version thinking that would fix it but it doesn’t. The superimpose was my favorite feature so I’m probably canceling the full subscription but I do love all of the other features. If the developer fixes the issue with superimpose this app would get 5 stars from me and I would keep the full version.
I’ve been using this app for... a while now. And, ironically, until now, I had no issues. My problem is that when I erase backgrounds, some with have white surrounding it, and some won’t. I can’t do anything with this app if it continues this. It picks and chooses whether it wants to fully erase the background. I’ve tried EVERY option, but this... glitch... seems to stay. I understand if y’all are working on the app, and will be very patient, but this glitch is disturbing my work.
I’m on iOS 12.5.7 & this app has been working for the past few years but then this recent update completely broke it & im unable to even open the app without it crashes before the home page even loads so if you could fix this I will be happy about it cause I’ve used this app for years & years & I don’t want it to end cause a stupid crash won’t le me open the app so please fix this.
Don’t get me wrong, this is an awesome app, especially for one that’s free. At first I was able to make a custom sticker that worked perfectly. But after that every time I save the sticker, it shows up in my gallery, but with a strange white background when the first couple I made had no background but then the background started to show using the same process I always used to make them. Overall though, it’s a nice app.
I got this app for one reason: custom stickers. And when I hit save, it doesn't give me the sticker. "Custom" in the iMessage app is always empty. I repeatedly hit "save sticker" and it told me it did, but it didn't. Edit: it DOES add your custom stickers, but not automatically, you have to take an extra step. And even at that point they aren't actually stickers. You can just tap them and they send as a text. You can't use them as stickers. This app has no stickers at all. Edit #2: Thanks to the devs for the quick response, I look forward to the custom stickers!
I have used a lot of different photo editing apps for my work. This one would be perfect except for one major oversight. When editing photos using the ‘Retouch’ function, there is no ‘undo’ button. So, if you make a mistake, you have to start all over again. It is extremely frustrating to the point I will not use the app for anything other than cutout which makes it too expensive. With the addition of an option to undo, it would be a fantastic app.
It’s my first time using this app and I was surprise to see how simple it is to use I really recommend don’t believe on me try it if you are not satisfied Judge me not the creators of this app I’m trying to be clear if you don’t know how to use your cell phone or any hi tech you’re the one whit the problem because it’s to easy to understand simple to use the problem it’s not the app it’s you... I like to thank the creators of the app thank you
I used to love this app. USED TO: past tense. I’ve been using this for over 5 years, and liked it so much that I purchased a membership to unlock its better features. Even after purchasing a membership, I was still bombarded with forced to watch advertisements. And then, there are the constant updates which makes it really hard to use this app because you have to learn it all over again. This latest update was the last straw- the app did not recognize me as a paid subscriber, and I lost all of my saved images within it. I’m sorry to say, I will never recommend this app to anyone and will spend my money and time elsewhere.
I use this app on a daily basis to make unique photos for Social Media Posts for a few businesses and to entertain my grandkids. I gave it a 5 because I have found nothing that comes close. I have a few minor issues with the fine tune editing but the problem could also be me! lol Im 58, female, live in Texas and an admitted appoholic in anything to do with pics. Have not found any app that does photo cut outs better than this one.
After about an hour I was able to do what I wanted to do with excellent results. However, the tutorial didn’t work and the software is not intuitive. At one point I really considered canceling my subscription. When I finally understood the workflow, I got the results I wanted. The previous version was absolutely marvelous. Maybe this version will improve over time.
I very upset with this application action as I have signed up for a yearly membership only to find out that this app is really buggy not sure if it’s because of a new update but before everything was functional when using this app but now im very upset at what I have to deal with I howl to see a fix very soon if there is even support for this app Seeing the many reviews and reviews Going into multi layers and background it crashes With layers you select all you personal photos to view and it just opens up your whole entire library of photos Won’t let you select anything Please fix this application Thank you I don’t know if others are experiencing the same issue but I am
I love this new feature in the app, thank you. However, I noticed that it all of a sudden stopped loading my photos. I hope you will get this fixed right away. I also really enjoy the behind the scenes staff, I get the impression that as soon as they read the reviews, they quickly fix the issue. Thank you for your promptness.
I tend to want to remove the backgrounds of many picture and put them into a new picture. Most of the time ProKnockout does a PERFECT job of it. Because of my hobbies i tend to use this app daily and it rarely fails to help. There are times where it may crash but it doesn't happen often, and because it's helped out so much I don't mind those very few times. ProKnockout is a great app!
No communication about the problems ive been having and the updates keep ruining the app
The more and more i take a break and return to this app the more i realize how worse and not functioning it is half of the tools don’t even work right or do the same effect as they used to and im still sadly paying for this app hoping one day they improve but to no success i even contact them about genuine critiques or things that don’t work in the app by their email they left on their support page. Ive been on here since 2019 so imma just let y’all know go find a different app

I just started playing with this but so fare I have been ver impressed. What has been interesting is that while it has tried to sell me a subscription I didn’t buy it nor did I sign up for a trial, yet I’ve been able to do all but one thing that I’ve tried. I’d be happy to pay for a subscription if it does the things I need.
Used this apps text on photo editor to put text on my images of items I post for sale online but when I clicked this time it was all white and couldn’t click the text option. Restarted the app and now it showed up as normal so apparently there’s a new bug.
I'm in the middle of my first photo cut-out with this app, writing a review to save my progress in hi-res, so I'm not sure if it deserves 5 stars yet. Cutting out the background was fairly easy but, this is a portrait and I had trouble circling the bottom of the person in the image (it wouldn't let me circle around the edge) so, I ended up having to do a lot of recovery + erasing to properly select the main image. I have yet to see how adding a background works. So far, so good...

Its a pretty decent app thay does several different things. Currently using it to remove the white from a “shape” I created in Adobe Capture. They could probably improve the user experience a bit and maybe make it a little more intuitive/easy use. Also... I don't enjoy the nickle and diming that a lot of apps do. Just charge one price for the full app or have a few different levels rather than charging 99 cents for individual features.
I really wanted to love this. I’ve emailed customer support twice. Going to again for the third time after this review. I cannot sign in. I bought the premium. It will restore my purchase (which I have to do every time I open the app) but it will not let me register OR login. It always prompts to agree to the user terms. There is no where to AGREE to the user terms. I can read them all but that’s ITS! It’s an endless and frustrating cycle. I’ve never given an app a one star rating before but this is frustrating with zero help from customer service.
I love this app but it’s not working now it says internet wasteland when my internet connection is fine and all other devices also say internet is fine. Tried delete if app and reinstalling didn’t help turned off phone and turned back on didn’t help tried to contact help it redirects to a Chinese site which I obviously can’t understand, in app help also doesn’t help. I hope this gets fixed soon and if it does I’ll change my review but a app that doesn’t work is worthless and I might as well cancel my membership.
What a neat app. Well thought out and fun to use. Makes me just want to use it all day long and it doesn't even look like the same thing over and over again. I'm so happy to have my back back and I love it so much it's just my way to make sure that I'm able to sleep with a bunch of friends and I don't have to make a good judgment call on my phone or something else.
Hands down the best photo editing app I’ve ever used. And it’s free! It has many uses besides just cutting out things. The photo edit option has many different editing effects you can use. I’ve used this app so many times and am grateful for such a well-made app. It’s hard to believe it’s free!
This app could have potentially saved me hours of work back when I designed and built websites! I get so frustrated learning programs like Gimp and Photoshop, I could have skipped so many steps and saved hours of learning how to do what I can do with one swoop of my finger here. Better late than never, I'm just glad someone finally made it really "that easy".
Please, Please put the transparency option back in the new superimpose edit option. This transparency edit let me see what I was erasing an how it would look on my background. Update: So pleased, they just moved it. The staff was quick to address this problem. They even sent me a message on the weekend!
I love the app but your latest update messed everything up. I use it to make stickers with super impose. I used to could choose the background color and put my image on top and resize it by moving side to side or up and down to fit in the square. However it now only lets me resize the entire image which takes the image outside the boundaries. Can you please fix or explain how to do it now. It was simple when I started using it but each update makes it more confusing Sent from my iPhone
i love this app so much i had to go out of my way to write a review. i love to photo shop a lot and it’s PERFECT! it zooms in so you can get really good defined edges. only problem is sometimes when the photos too dark the eyes will be erased as well but easy fix if you lighten the photo first!! 10/10 recommend
I very much enjoyed this app as I edit photos for fun, so I became a member and subscribe in the (6 month) VIP Membership over the quality aspect. When I save a photo, I prefer the best quality. One day this week I opened the app and it showed me ads and said I’m not a member. I checked my account and have been charged for the next 6 months... So why is it telling me to be a member? One, there isn’t even technical support no where to be found in the app. Second, I’ve been charged $19 why is still telling me to subscribe. Final, I’m losing this app as soon as I get my refund or the membership I payed for.
Pretty great app, It's very interesting how you can manipulate the pictures to do multiple things at the same time. It is a very cool app and I recommend it for everyone to use. I am still leaning myself, but I can't wait to go and experiment with the pics and the adjustments it lets you make. Have a great time playing with the pictures everyone.
Don’t get me wrong I love this app, but recently it’s been crashing. I have no clue whether or not it’s my device or if it’s the app that causing this. I have simply tried “tricks” that would usually work to make my device better but it’s not working. Which is why I’ve come to the conclusion it might be the app. Just a little psa.
I absolutely love this app. It’s great for people that want a free and nom paying subscription, you don’t even need internet to access the things you could do with photos. It’s really nice, especially when I’m working on the road. It’s amazing how this app is so good for being free. It can do so many things!
Hello. I have used this app for years now and recently the outline color hasn’t been working correctly the last couple of weeks. I was sure the company would find some errors with it but it appears nobody has complained about it yet? Sorry to be that guy...lol but I use this app for a business and need that outline color on text to be fixed as soon as possible 😄 please let me know if it is possible to be fix. Thanks.
This app is great I would recommend it for beginners. I am a beginner this is my first time photoshopping. It has a few flaws but for the most part it's great. One of its flaws if drawing a line in your work, another one in you have to replace some of what you wanted. But it's an easy fix. I really think this would be a great app for beginners.
So the cutout feature is very good, but my first and last use was trying to use the move tool and it would not move the picture down (just pop to top). During this time the pop up to write review kept coming up. After 6 try's (complete redos) with twice that many "write reviews" it finally upset me enough to write this review and I rarely do feedback notes (only extremely good or bad)... this one is just frustrating. It looks like it could be great, but somewhere it fell way short! It's free so doesn't hurt to try if you have time to waste!
Have an iphone6. Purchase the upgraded Pro version last year and it worked great until the updates. This was my go to for white background editing. Last update made this app totally useless. Now it resizes photos by itself, off centers the image while saving AND asks me to upgrade when I have the pro version. Maybe they broke the lifetime pro so they could get you to do a monthly or yearly sub, who knows? What a bummer - you ruined one of my most used apps. Not recommended. :(
I really liked this app before the October 31 update. Now everything is impossible to find and I can't do what I could before with it. I don't mind the new features, but at least keep the menu layout the same so I can find things. Edit: changed my rating to 3 stars. I was able to figure out where the old things were, but the new interface is still a bit confusing.
This is a pretty cool app once you learn how to use it. It is basically photoshop, but when you do layers, you have to make one layer and save to camera roll and so on then put them all together you just can't make a layer and set aside and make another you actually have to save it but other than it is a pretty cool app
Used to be the best photoshop app. But now it’s so broken I can’t access my stickers anymore. For some reason it needs to connect to the internet to get to your stickers. Bad design. I had liked it so much that I paid for a VIP membership. But now I can’t do anything that I paid for. Customer support was completely unhelpful. I tried to get them to fix it multiple times but they offered unhelpful solutions and then just ignored me. I want my money back. Or fix the app already.
The one thing I do not like isThat when you blur a photo for the outside you have to do it a very complicated way it’s circle or square which is very complicated I wish there was a thing where you could drag or I should say draw over where the spot should be blurred and then that would be perfect
This is my favorite app to use when removing the background of photos. The only thing is, now there is a grey line around my image every time I remove the background. Why is this happening? I’ve used this app for a long time and this never happened before. Is this a new feature or am I doing something wrong? I need that grey line GONE!
