My mom uses this bank. She tried using her iPad and phone to do a mobile deposit, but after about 50 attempts with crystal clear images , the app still said that it couldn’t read the check. So I downloaded the app on my phone. Tried for about 30 minutes with all different lighting and backgrounds. Still won’t read check. Tried it on my iPad, still no luck. We literally took about 200 pictures and not one went through. My mom called their support line. The lady told her that there is nothing wrong with the app and to just keep trying. Over an hour later we finally gave up. People Security closed out nearby branch so now I have to drive her 30 minutes away to deposit it in person. If you are considering People Security and plan to mostly do mobile deposits, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This is ridiculous.
Peoples changed their mobile app in 2021 and what an improvement! Face ID. Credit Score and Monitoring. Quick balance access. Mobile deposit built in. I was even able to attach my credit cards and accounts at other banks. Now I see all my balances with one login to my bank. Great job PSBT!!! Keep up the great work.
This banking app makes it quick and easy to view your accounts on the go! The new updates are a big improvement from the old app. I love being able to check my balance and transfer money when I need too!
The app is able to check balances and view recent transactions but that’s about it. There seems to be options for much more but they’re all disabled in the app. Another significant issue is the app does save the user name (a long series of numbers) and password. They both have to be entered each time. Another frustrating aspect is that it allows you to enable touch id but as soon as you leave the program it’s back to being disabled and so you have to manually enter user and password.
App hasn’t been updated in 10 months. Touch id isn’t working. I turn it on and it turns itself off before I even log out. And when I click on app developer the website doesn’t even work. At least I can check my account even if I have to go through hoops to get there with a crazy hopefully impossible password. Hence the reason for Touch ID.
If you have an account with Honesdale National Bank, their files in the background must be the same. They often crash. The two apps look identical so that’s why I figured they used some of the same files. They consistently lose passwords. Honesdale app is much more stable it seems.
It will not allow me to transfer money from checking account to savings account, I will click on transfer from then it tells me I do not have an account to transfer from.
Security is constantly asking me new questions to build a database for protection. If I delay my key response by 10 seconds, they indicate my pattern is abnormal and start with the interrogations. ENOUGH! already.
Buggy app hasn’t been updated in 4 months. Still asks me to update my security questions. I have done this about 8 times now. Nope can’t login to see my account now via mobile due to a redundancy.
