No way to sort cars in garage. Need to have it listed by newest to oldest like the old app. It’s not useful to get a notification for a car, click it and just takes you to a list on your garage. That list is sorted by distance from your home yard. Now I have to click on every listing to locate this new addition. New additions should be top of the list. The circle photo of the car is too small. Make it as large and square as possible. Why try to hide part of the car. You want to make it easy to see. Make the app useful not fancy looking.
The app is terrible, it doesn’t even work. Sitting here with multiple people on different devices and no one can get the app to work right. Drop downs not appearing and not searching when you enter the year make or model. I’ve found that you can search inventory on your computer but it doesn’t match what’s in the yard always and I’ve never had my alerts actually alert me. They’ll say no inventory for what I’m looking for and I go down there and there it is. So much for setting up the garage and all that. Probably just a front to sell our information.
It used to somewhat work until they updated the UI. and now it doesn’t work at all. you can’t even login; it just even an error even through the email/password are correct and work on the website. messaged support and got a reply saying they are aware but it hasn’t been fixed in months. tbh going here is a waste of time. the cars never have the parts you need even if you go as soon as the alert hits, someone somehow always beats you to it. i think the staff scalp the best parts and sell them online
Soon as you removed the reward points and didn’t give anything for them no value or credit I knew y’all were shady. Now the prices are doubled and the app don’t even work. Employees trying up charge you on screws and bolts. Lkq is a joke now. Rather find a part out on Facebook or Offerup than get overcharged for used junk parts. Sad how y’all used to be for the customer now it’s all about the corporation Now I’m deleting the app its doesn’t work at all now with the name change and software change can’t even add a car to the garage
Not sure who is responsible for this app. But you need to go back to software development class. Why on earth would you remove the capability of searching across multiple yards for a particular make and model? That used to be a phenomenal feature in case you wanted to take a drive between different yards in your area. Now I have to search for that particular making model at each yard. Cumbersome and frankly, dumb. The generic write up for the work done for the latest revision tells me somebody is not doing their job in the documentation department. Please wake up and actually build proper use cases, test them with people that actually use the app and take their feedback into consideration. If you had actually done the above, you wouldn’t have implemented some of the changes you made June 20th.
It’s been a few months since they completely changed the app. Ever since I haven’t been able to log in. I’ve seen similar reviews from other users saying they’re experiencing the same issues & it’s been ongoing for months. 1 user left a review saying they messaged technical support & they replied saying they’re aware of the issue but haven’t done anything to resolve the problem. So one is left to ask? Will this issue be fixed promptly or should we just delete the app entirely & only use the online website since it’s the only thing that seems to work? It really makes you not want to go to the yards anymore, as the alerts are the only reason 1 would want to go in a orderly time, if not by the time you get there the parts will be scrapped & you’ll have wasted a trip, gas & time.
Such a terrible app refresh, my login credentials were deleted or non existent, even though I can log in on the PC. Now the app has so much going on that it makes navigating a nightmare. The previous version was simple and perfect and then they had to go and break it. Just plane terrible. Now you have to select the yard you want to look for instead of it just auto populating the cars from the yards you had selected to search. Such a garage app
This app had so much potential, and now is virtually useless. I’ve done business with LKQ, both over-the-counter wholesale, and as a retail customer, either at their self-serve yards or retail outlets, for many years. Never had trouble like this with their previous app. I don’t want to drive to each side of Denver, to find out what is in the yard. Even if the app was incorrect as to position in the yard, at least I had a pretty solid idea of what was available. Please fix it!
This new app literally doesn’t work at all, nothing loads, I get notifications for cars coming in but again, nothing loads at all. All I can do is sign in to my account and then nothing, just infinite white screens, same thing is happening to my brother. Imagine spending however long they did developing this app just for it to end up being useless because it doesn’t function even on a basic level.
The app does not recognize my LKQ login information when I’ve had the same login information for years; tried multiple times to reset my password and the email never gets delivered to my inbox. went to the mobile website and logged in with no issues at all; will be deleting this app until this issue is resolved or the update is rolled back.
You complete deleted my account, deleted all my cars i had saved, half of them i wont even remember and now i created a new login under the SAME email… every other app in existence will not let you make a new account if your email already exist. How do you honestly screw up this bad? Pathetic. Looks like they hired some kid that said he could do it and went to school for “Technology” lol
The new update basically ruined the app. You can no longer see the cars in your garage across all lots, you have to select each lot individually and hope that it’s there which is a chore. The app is also buggy, for instance if you select a car that’s in your alerts it won’t take you to the car’s page. Please fix this and make it easier to use.
The previous app worked perfectly. The latest version broke everything. Nothing loads, or saves. Cannot view part availability. Everything does not work. If I could give a 0/10 I would. I still get notifications from the prior app, but noting loads. It’s been years since a previous update was released, and yet they still screw up something so utterly simple.
Nothing is easy to find anymore to many clicks account was deleted but somehow new account has data from previous account but the app decides when to use that data at random sometimes nothing is there sometimes my old data appears everything loads slow and sometimes doesn’t even load at all
The latest update is worse than the initial app, it won’t show cars in other locations when you click on them, it used to show the car you choose in your garage in different favorite locations you have selected, it doesn’t do that anymore. we can’t find parts. The latest update is slower and harder to use, please go back.
App forced me to log out and now I can’t log back in. I tried changing my password but the app won’t send the reset email. Went to their website and was able to log in just fine, some reason the app won’t recognize my password as the correct one and I have an alert from a location I can’t get to. noice
If you business is selling car parts you should make it easier to find parts not harder. I used to get excited when I got an alert for a new vehicle that I’m looking for hits the yard, now its just not worth the hassle of logging in in the new app.
Horrible app. Everything lags. You start typing on the search bar and it lags then erases all the info you input. Very slow. There’s no actual search button. The pictures are horrible btw. Literally went from bad to worse on this new update/format.
You can’t possibly make their app worse…LKQ said hold my beer. The new app is horrible and they removed features… the previous app allowed you to see multiple yard’s listings on one screen. Now you need to switch between yards to see the same vehicle availability. These people are idiots.
Like the title says…. I just finally uninstalled it since I can login on the website but not the app. Between rude employees that want to charge you for bolts nuts and washers on a $50 item (to make it a $100 sale), and the warranty is not optional (or at least that’s what they claim at my yard). Finally the last straw!!!
Current app version is terrible. I cant use old credentials to log in. I cant see my garage of vehicles across all saved stores (yards). I miss the old app. So I deleted current app. The LKQ website still works the same as the old app. So im using LKQ’s website
Sign up is very invasive to privacy. Really? All those are mandatory fields? On release day, even drop downs don’t work for car year. Seems that that it’s the same devs of the old app, now running the “new” - just under a new logo.
This app has gotten so bad to the point where I'd rather uninstall it and try my luck just visiting each junkyard. This final update where they pushed the new brand image sealed the deal for me. Was and continues to be garbage.
The app does not work at all.I have tried logging in many times but now I appear to be blocked. The previous version of the app was just OK but this one is junk I would give it zero stars if I could.
The old app wasn't the best but it got things done, this new one wants one location per search. please allow favorite yards to be searched all at once again.
Can’t log in and tried to reset password to no avail. Have deleted app since it’s useless . I highly suggest deleting this or don’t download it’s a complete waste of time
When you select location Greenville, SC from dropdown, it also selects Greenville, NC. This same bug also happens from the map. Password reset feature doesn’t work.
Seriously, no one cares about your branding. Just give us the old app back that was more useful. I just go to your website in a browser now b/c this app is so useless.
I was not aware this new update to pyp app would make me have to create a whole new account and login. I have to re-add all the vehicles to my garage, except I can’t do that because it refuses to save anything.
The app doesn’t work at all! Nothing loads! You can’t add a car to your garage, you can’t look at inventory, you can’t look at yards. All the pages turn white and never load.
Never get notifications and then the first time I got one I rushed to the Location excited to finally be able to pick parts off a 69 Dodge when I got there I couldn’t find the car anywhere. Asked one of the guys if he had seen the car and he says, “Yeah I just crushed it this morning”. The SAME DAY I got the notification. I was there by 10 am. My heart dropped. The rear glass on that alone is super rare and worth a lot of money. What a waste. I’ve had this app for over a year and this is the first notification I’ve ever gotten. I have about 10 cars saved in my “garage” all with at least a ten year model spans. I often go to the Wilmington location, I always find cars and vans that I have saved but never have gotten a notification that they were in. Really wish this thing worked.... a two door 69 Dodge Dart with the original 225 slant six crushed.... it’s heartbreaking.
