IN-APP communication with other sound techs using iPads
Please develop some like chat box or something you can text to others on the program, like myself our church is quite large so when me and some other sound tech need to communicate it’s hand signals or mouthing words or even worse having to leave and meet with one of the other guys. A in app text box would be perfect Please please consider doing this!!!!
iOS 12.1 and ql firmware v 5.01 not working Edit: After deeper troubleshooting the board was at fault, had to change the board’s ip address from a previously working address to a random new address in the same subnet which brought it back online...
I like the app and use it quite often during soundcheck and showtime, but PLEASE add digital gain support and premium rack control!!!!!! I can’t use a ql1 at FOH over Dante if I’m not able to edit gains on the iPad.
Hi! I have loved this app for some time now, but just started having problems with the updated version. I have an iPad mini (running iOS 8.4.1) using a QL1. Since the update, the app will show "connecting", "syncing", then crash and close the app. Any word on this? UPDATE: Was able to get in touch with the StageMix team, and they said there was a bug in the new version of the app. They have a fix and it should be back in the App store by the weekend of 9/13. : ) Thanks Yamaha and StageMix!
I have an iPad Air and the RTA does not work on it but we also have an iPad 2 that has a working RTA.. Why is it not working on mine?? I have tried deleting and re-installing the app but it didn't help.
Having remote capability on a simple platform is amazing for both myself and the artists I’m working with. The app is great, only gripe is I have experienced lag recently and trouble reconnecting. There is now a feature to turn off sleep in app so that should help.
StageMix is an application for the Apple iPad that provides remote control of Yamaha QL digital mixing console functions via a simple, intuitive graphical interface from anywhere within wireless range. The software has been specifically designed to allow engineers to adjust monitor mixes from the performers’ positions on stage, directly controlling mix parameters via the iPad rather than having to rely on verbal directions to a second engineer. The result is better mixes in less time; a huge advantage during high-pressure pre-show setup. Although StageMix is focused on the requirements for adjusting monitor mixes on stage, its range of features is continually expanding, allowing it to be used for a wider variety of remote control functions.
