I’m OLD.....and........

I confess, I abhor apps. I’m 56 with an 18 year old son in the home. He was born with access to the world in the palm of his hand. My first computer class, college level, taught us from the DOS prompt. See 🙄 most of you don’t even know what that is. Anyway, I didn’t get MY first computer until I went back to college at 32. My monitor weighed more than my 3 kids birth weights combined 😂. I’m getting off track here......so I wanted to create a statement. Since my son is currently working and I had no other choice ( he’s the baby, his 2 big sisters are on their own and my husband can be clueless ), I did the unthinkable.....I went to the App Store 😬 I just typed the words “quote maker” in the search bar. I had what I wanted 2 minutes later. Not the app, the finished product. My hands are up 🙌 for 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros & Cons: Overall though, Good for Basic Quote Art

Pros: There’s a lot of really nice backgrounds and plenty of font styles to play with. You can easily increase or decrease font size, letter and/or line spacing. There’s more than enough features to make pretty quote art and it’s pretty easy to figure out. Cons: There’s no “start new” or “start over” button. There’s no way to easily adjust font/color of individual words or phrases. There’s also no way to save the works you’ve created unless you either save the images yourself or save to a file, but you can’t open up your history or a library of your own past works. Overall, for someone who is trying to really get creative, the app is seriously lacking some necessary tools and functionality. For someone who just wants to make some quick and pretty quote art, there’s more than enough options to satisfy your craving. Depends on what you want really.

At first I was skeptical about this app, but when I downloaded it, I realized it wasn’t so bad. The free version is ok, but I create content on social media and I needed more variety in background, font, size and other graphics. I have to say that I upgraded to the pro ; it was a wise investment. But I’m gonna be extremely honest, sometimes I’m in the app and it just closes out and freezes my phone. ( iPhone 11, and because no other app does this; I’m convinced it’s the app problem and it the phone). The developers need to work on that. Apart from that; the app is exceptional..I still would give it 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Signed Happy customer!!

I would give negative stars if I could

This app cost $6.99. It has the function of a free app, and it does it poorly. It doesn’t save your projects in a library, so you can’t go back and edit them later. When you save them, the dimensions on the screen are VASTLY different from how they appeared while working on them. It’s fiddly, where you might be tapping to give a pop of color to a word, but then it accidentally opens the whole text and you lose all the words you’ve tapped. When scrolling through fonts, there’s no bar or check mark to show which one you currently have selected, so good luck finding out which one you have in your image when you’re trying to march it. The gradient options are limited, you can’t make your own. I could go on and on. This is a rip off. Do NOT pay money for this app. Use a free app.

Marvelous!

I started looking for a quick app that was easy to use on the fly. I was tired of spending too much time trying to find the right picture, play with a limited number of fonts, and still not have the basics for what I need to make a beautiful quote w/ a gorgeous image. Again…ease of use on the fly was paramount! Well, here it is! Made my first image and quote on the fly with ZERO frustration and was very pleased with it and the sharing ease. Thank you!

I’ve had this app for about two years, no problems until now

I’ve had this app for about two years, and loved it. While working on a project, it froze up and I could not reboot it. I had to finally just “delete” it and then get it back from the app store. NOW it acts like I never had the Pro account, and it wants me to pay all over again, which I will not do! I tried to email the problem from the app, and it doesn’t recognize my email!! So now I had to go to the app store, and try to reach someone from there! Hopefully someone will get back to me asap, because I have to finish this project!!! if they want proof I’ve had QC Pro before, I have SEVERAL pics that I can show them!!!

Solid app in need of an upgrade

I use this app religiously and it works consistently and well. The reason I gave it 3 stars is two fold; functionality and lack of improvement. The app is not the most user friendly and has no “undo” function. There’s no place to store all the quotes you’ve made and go back to them. you create a quote and save or share it. When you go to create another quote your first one is gone. Lastly, there haven’t been any major upgrades to the app itself and the background packages which are getting dated and old. I’d love to keep using this app but it’s needs an upgrade.

Works well

I wish it was a general typography app* so I can edit a single word differently because this UI is intuitive.** Choosing my photo or the app's background is smooth, font choice, color, overall size … all those are straight-forward. It's good for what it is and it never makes sense to rate something (poorly) based on what you wish it was. (yes, I'm speaking to reviewers who do that … ) * I won't do the company's typography app because I avoid subscriptions on principle - $10/year is about my maximum and usually works great with the numbers downloaded/subscribed. I'll pay for an app; pay annually though? Nope. * * I recognize I maybe understand fonts and editing decently well by now but some developers make no sense. This does.

Okay But... NEVER pay for the Pro Version

The app is okay itself. I paid for the pro version some time ago and it stated it was supposed mine to be forever. After I used the pro version I uninstalled it by mistake. Once I noticed I was never able to use the pro again. Its like they reinvented the pro version and the people who used it previously doesn’t show in the AppStore. It shows “get now” vs the download cloud, like I’ve never had it installed before. I paid for nothing. Now the price is 6.99. It would be nice if they let you sign in to “keep track” of such things. Possibly that defeats their purpose.

Better with purchases

This app is awesome in its free version and I was able to make a bunch of fun quotes on cool backgrounds with a wide variety of fonts in many colors to print and make into stickers for my journal and planner. Then I went crazy and bought all the add-one and wow! This is just amazing and if you like those quote stickers people have but always wanted to make the ones YOU want, this is the BEST way to get them!

I appreciate this app for being free, also easily understandable. Coming from someone who is basically technology challenged for the most part, it’s quite fluent for this challenged mid thirties woman. Thanks for making me able to express myself once in a while when I utilize this app. Perhaps I should use it more frequently, and set a half an hour or so each day to doing so. Once again, I greatly appreciate it 😳

Sell me more!

I don't know if you are thinking of doing this but I have the willingness to pay for more templates. Many big players are using this app. The sad is I can't see something orange, or more background images that looks good with white or black fonts. I don't want to pay lots of dollars for stock images, and obviously I do not want to steal pics on Google. C'mon, sell me something.

Amazing

I’ve always loved this app! I love being able to write my quotes on Facebook and not use the Facebook background LOL and I’m not telling anyone where I got it from ha ha ha ha LOL just kidding but no one asks they just love my backgrounds! So many different backgrounds to choose from for free and I love it! Definitely thinking about paying for pro as long as it’s not a subscription and it’s a one time payment LOL

Best App Ever!

Usually, the hype surrounding an app is too good to be true; not in this case. This app is awesome! I wish I could give it 6 stars. It combines all the elements and functions of all apps I’ve used in the past, without all the glitches. This app is not only incredibly intuitive, but it’s also incredibly fun to use. The developers should win an award for this one. Respect due!

Paid for + version but…

I like this app and paid for the lifetime upgrade. Unfortunately, I’m asked to pay again. Stick with the free version. They just took my money. Once you’re finished, if you have problems, use a screen capture and then post.

Prior Version Better

With the recent upgrade, I’ve found no way to save a template that always includes the author. Since I’m creating multiple quotes from the same author, I end up having to paste the author’s name in each time, even though I saved a template. Please bring that capability back. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

Best App

I recommend this app for anyone who is looking to make great quotes with awesome creativity. This app gave me a variety of options to choose from like colors, font size, text options, filters, and it even allows me to upload my own background. And it’s been going great so far! Would highly recommend.

I use this all the time!

You know when you're reading a good book and you underline a great quote and wanna carry it with you where ever you go or share it with someone who needs it? Yeah that's what this app lets you do!! Whenever I'm inspired by something I'm reading I plug it into this app and save it! Love it!! So helpful and it's user friendly.

I try many quotes app and I couldn’t understand how to use them and it didn’t have too many options to write a quote. Quote Creators is so Easy to use! and you can save your quotes and it has many types of fonts and backgrounds , I can’t believe is free!!! I love it!

Highly Highly Recommended App!

Best app on market. I’ve used this app for years and wouldn’t go to anything else. Ignore any negative comments, it’s obvious they don’t know how to navigate through this app. I never write a review but I felt it needed a good review. Best app! Best quote app and it’s free! Keep up the good work to the creators!

Like it but I wish I could save my own template

I use it to create social posts for my company and I would like to be able to save template I created for my brand with specific font and background color and logo so I don’t have to recreate it each time. Otherwise I like it.

Share makes it blurry?

First off, I love the flexibility in fonts, sizing, and line breaks, and that I can make a whole paragraph into a visually attractive quote, as most apps only let me work with a sentence! However, it’s crisp within the app but then saves out to my photo album as blurry, and I don’t see how to save my own watermark standard on every quote I create. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Amazing

I downloaded this as a gag towards what a friend said to me and I thought was hilarious so I turned it into a quote but I was surprised by how easy the software was to use, also if your wondering what said qoute was it was the mannequins in old navy are more attractive than the clothes

Amazing

This app really helps me write out my morning messages in a unique and creative way everyday. I wish there was a way I could change the default font and have more gradient colors added. But I definitely use this app everyday.

This is a great app. I have enjoyed for two years.

I’ll say it again, this is the best app I have EVER used, and I’ve had it two years. I’ve even paid double, sometimes triple for the app extras, even though I’ve already paid for them and some error pops up. Easy to use, and I think makes facilitating images for me.

This app is great and I use it all of the time. It is one of the few apps that I’ve ever tried which is actually free with very few ads and you don’t have to buy premium to do cool stuff. 5 stars all the way.

Exactly what I was looking for! Just wanted to make quotes to post on instragram and this app was on the top of the list. Completely customizable with different fonts, backgrounds, hues, etc. A very fair Pro price as well. Keep up the great work!

I love this app, because I can put my feelings in quotes or writings and it is helping me heal and some makes me laugh about growing up. I hope any one that reads my writings, love them or take them to place in their lives, that shows them they too are healing.

This app is so awesome!

This is a great app!But I have a cool trick. If you want an even better background, get a wallpaper app and then, save the wallpaper you want as your background for your quote. Then go back to the app and go in photo gallery and pick your wallpaper from camera roll!

Great with one very annoying issue...

I use this app frequently and I love it. I’m not giving it five stars because it won’t let me remove or turn off fonts I don’t like or use. It will let me change the order but when you have hundreds, it’s a serious pain!

I went pro and also added the background packages. I am a creative type and a writer. I also love quotes in general. I have endless fun creating quotes, getting them to look just right, and sharing them with friends.

Word Wrap Needs Upgrade

So when you shrink the font, the orientation changes to a flattened rectangular deal which isn’t ideal if you have a photo with someone in it because the font is covering the person. Please fix this.

Great app,too many fonts.

I love the variety this app provides. BUT there are so many fonts that are basically the same thing and no way to delete them. Please allow a delete function of off button function for fonts like we have for templates and downloaded fonts.

Great app I can create my own quotes, watermark them if I choose and be creative with the shading of the word. I wish the app had like a 3D live effect. It would be evolutionary to be the first app to think of that, innovative minds create the future!

Best quote generator so far

Having a collection of quotes built in is very useful Some requests for future updates - more backgrounds and the means of adding your own to the bar menu - I have a vast collection of my own quotes and would love to add them to the existing quote collections or as a separate import utility. Presently I have to do a cut and paste which is time consuming. Or how about writing a separate utility? - Could you allow the author’s name to be larger? - A draw feature would be nice Thanks Kent -

It used to be good

I used to love love this app, but the last 4 or so months it has not been working the same. I can no longer upload my own photos to use as the background. I cannot remove fonts that I have added to the app. And the worst part is I can’t get help with any of it! I’ve sent messages every way imaginable, and they all go unanswered!! If I could get some resolution and help I would totally keep this app.

Doesn’t save your selections

First I paid to remove the ads then I paid even more for backgrounds however it doesn’t even let you save them to the home page. Once you leave the app they go away and then you have scroll through everything to find them every time you want to use them. Also I have emailed the developer 3 times and no response. Bad app and wasted my money

What you see is not what you get anymore.

After the last update or two, what you save isn’t what you get. Oftentimes it will look perfect with the font, spacing, placement etc and then you go to save it and it looks like jumbled up nonsense. PLEASE fix this. It ruins the usability and reliability of the app and is a waste of time saving repeatedly trying to make it work properly.
