DO NOT USE THIS APP… this is a scam and allows the scammer to take over your phone and record … I was called and told that I owed Etsy $1900 and that I would need to pay that in order to unlock my account. I was told by the caller to download this app and to allow him to look at my phone, I realized halfway through the call that my phone was being recorded as I was using it, this app I was scammed for 13 charges above $500 each another three charges for charges. I’m sorry at $99 each tried to hit my credit card for $1900. I was lucky that none of the charges were put through in my bank accounts were all frozen, I called Verizon. I had a security lock put on my phone be aware. I also spoke to the police. This is a scam and it’s also something that they’re aware of and they believe that it’s an inside job also for Etsy. Unfortunately, I will not ever buy on Etsy again this is not secure.
i called what i thought was apple support because of a balance i thought was incorrect. the person was very convincing at first, then told me to go into settings in the “language & region” section. he proceeded to tell me that i was charged $12k because of bitcoin and that he would “get the money returned to me.” do not believe them when they say this!! it’s just an example of what your formatting looks like! he then tells me download this app so i could show him my screen, then to go to my apple id account to show my personal information. he randomly asks “how old are you?” even though my age had nothing to do with the problem i was having. thankfully i caught on, ended the screen share and hung up immediately. i blocked the number as well. make sure you go to the actual apple website to reach apple!! this caused me to spend the rest of the day making sure all of my information was secure.
I work in IT and use this constantly to help my colleagues, not to mention being support for friends and my family. This app is indispensable to provide help when you can actually see what the person you’re trying to help is actually seeing. For those complaining about getting scammed, I recommend using common sense. If you need support from Apple, look at their website for contact information, not Google or any other site. If someone calls you about a “problem” you’re having-hang up. No tech company is going to call you-they don’t work that way.
They said they could help me get a refund for apps I did not buy? A person I could not understand told me to click on Cash App. I said why so we can send you the money back ? They were able to click on my screen and asked me to click on a name. They asked Who do you send money too? The last person was my daughter. They said no don’t click on her click on someone else. Something wasn’t right. Why did they want me to click on someone’s profile? when the refund money should be coming into my profile, account. it’s a Scam . They could see my screen that was scary.
This app is being used to scam people. Fake Customer service numbers for reputable companies are snagging people, then using this app to record your screen. I tried to get a return label and somehow was charged $500 for Apple gift cards. Thankfully I was able to shut down the transactions and have notified my bank and credit card companies. Developers: you know this is being used to scam people. Ethically you bear some of the responsibility. I may have gotten my money back but I lost 2+ hours trying to stop the scam.
This app scammed my mother and had her call me and tried to persuade me to add $300 to my apple pay to send to her when in reality they were going to use the money, but I should have known better because Apple automatically can see your screen without downloading an app. You just have to accept their request of permission, Ive done it before so that’s how I know. I immediately uninstalled this app. They also had me open my cashapp which was also a red flag!
if I could put a lower star rating I would. I tried talking to “Apple support” to fix a WIFI ISSUE on my iPad and the guy had me download this app to view my iPhone screen. I was asked to go into my settings and personal information in addition to being asked my age and banking information (he tried to get me to open my bank account for a two-factor authentication when I had a issue with connecting to wifi). THIS IS A SCAM DONT DOWNLOAD FOR ANY REASON LOOK AT THE RATINGS FIRST. PLEASE.‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
thank you to those that left reviews, called apple support, got routed to someone who requested we download this app and it was incredibly suspicious. called on my own phone, followed his instructions, and he hung up. called on my moms phone, followed the instructions and was asked to use the camera to verify identity, when we asked why that was necessary he started YELLING for us to “JUST DO IT” and we immediately hung up, blocked the numbers, and deleted the app. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE
This was used by someone impersonating Apple Support. To commit fraud. Had money taken from one account. And tried to get my credit card information as well. I’m sure even after I had removed this fraudulent app from my phone it’s still spying on my accounts got a new card that I hadn’t even used yet and my bank froze that card as well. Because I can only give 1 star as the lowest rate I’d give it a ZERO STARS
No no no no!!! Its fake!! You get men in India frantically trying to direct you to show them your bank accounts and private information, so they can drain your accounts. They wanted such inappropriate information. Apple confirmed they are a scam operation. When you question them they get pathetic and more insistent to see your data. “ Broadcast to us! “ They just need you to broadcast for them. They try to brow beat you if you question why they are trying to get personal information. This is fake and crazy. Wow. PARASITE SCHEME! Pathetic parasites trying to capture personal data. Why is this app still active and why hasn’t Apple announced the scheme yet? They are actively diverting Apple support calls. Do not download!
This is absolutely ridiculous. I was trying to get technical help with my Apple, smart phone and my Apple sign in and somebody posing to be Apple assisted me in opening up my phone to help me fix the phone and didn’t do that instead he was in my phone and got all my banking information and is making purchases through thisapp do not use this app
I googled apple support, called and ended up going down a rabbit whole that included downloading this app. It wasn’t until the guy started saying he was going to talk me through fixing my security that i saw a red flag. I hung up, deleted the app and changed my passwords. I’m usually good at sorting scams but because I called support I thought I was fine. BEWARE.
This app is pretty much a scam itself. I was told to download this and I have to deactivate my cash app card because I was being screen recorded for my information. It is truly sad that people like this exist. The funny thing is I had no money on my cash app and so they couldn’t benefit from me if they wanted to😭 jokes on them
I was just trying to get the peacock TV app and I was channeled to somebody who told me to get on the rvnc app to continue my purchase - The hoops he had me jump through was like detonating a bomb - only to find that he was trying to get Apple gift cards sent to him!!! do not use this app.- for the folks in the back: DO NOT USE This APP!! it is used by frauds and scammers!!
They tried to tell me they worked for Apple when they asked me to download this. Then they asked me to type in $500 after asking to view my Pay Pal Account. They tried to tell me it would translate into points after I hit done. In the end i realized these people were trying to scam me. They finally hung up on me. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE PEOPLE
This app should be discontinued and not made available. Like all of the other reviews I was just scammed by Indian people pretending to be Apple support. I googled Apple support number and mysteriously got a fake 512 number and called. They too tried to get me to send a Venmo and Apple gift cards. This should be should be SHUT DOWN because it enables scamming.
Thank God i read reviews before giving my details to these indian scammers i called apple to get help for my apple pay issue and scammers skimmed the line and before they give me answer of my issue he wants me to download the app and while doing this i was reading reviews and instantly cut the call
I was also targeted for a scam using this app by people pretending to be Apple Support. Beware — this app may or may not be useful or legit as an app in itself, but there are absolutely scammers out there asking people to download this for screen share posing as Apple tech support. I did report the incident to actual Apple.
I called Apple support what I thought was apple support clearly wasn’t, the person had me download this app and wanted me to verify myself from my camera naked! I went off then dude proceeded to try and bribe me to show him my breast! This app is for scammers and perverts and needs to be taken down immediately!

Scammers use this to get into your phone to take $ from your Apple, Venmo & cash apps. They will ask you for a person to be a 2nd verification and the scam will pass along to them. If you are asked to download this app. Hang up immediately!!!
I wanted to reopen my storefront, due to previous hackers that drained my bank accounts. Etsy's tech support uses this to view your screens and asks for your bank account log ins, Venmo & Zelle while in view! This is a inside crime job. Do not use this!
This is a scam I was locked out of my phone and when I googled apple help customer service this companies phone number popped up so I called should have known better but have contacted the police to let them know how they are taking advantage of people…..
A company used this app to act as Apple tech support. They then take remote access to your phone and record what your doing to gain access to your information. They tried to convince me that I owed money from using my phone on a public WiFi network. SCAM!
If a caller tells you to download this app please DO NOT DOWNLOAD because it is a scam. It would most likely be a fake number trying to get your information. They hacked into my laptop and tried to use this app to hack my phone as well.
Scammers use this app to get access to your phone and financial information. Be very very careful who you give control to your phone. If we get by with the initial scam, we’ll be lucky. This app is on iCloud, hopefully not to be reactivated.
Most definitely a scam. They tried to get me to send them a 100 dollar apple gift card. Once I realized it was a scam I deleted the app and blocked their numbers. This app needs to be permanently shut down and off the App Store.

I just want to say that they try to hack me. I ask for activation for my Apple Card instead the associate tried to., install an app for RC connection. I don’t appreciate the treatment I received…. I feel violated.
