Pay attention to sizes!
I have made two transactions using the app now where I select my size and after purchasing and receiving confirmation both the app and confirmation email have the incorrect size. SST order it was one size up and yesterday’s order was one size down. It’s a very annoying glitch and I’m only able to cancel the order but do not want to because I would more than likely not get the item again. It’s just frustrating to think you’re getting one thing and you aren’t. Other than those two times, the app has been okay. Sometimes, especially on release days it will not let you check out with PayPal and after the 20th time of trying, it will work. Lol. Just glitchy in my opinion, I have hope it will improve.

Easy to Navigate, but Time Limits are Frustrating
I have been eyeing Sézane clothing for probably a year now. My challenge earlier on was that so many pieces looked so beautiful, I could not narrow down where to make my first purchase! I finally ordered my first items this month and I have been very impressed with the quality and style. Unfortunately however, the web site and app are very frustrating. Items added to your bag only remain in there for 29 minutes before it is automatically emptied out if you don’t purchase within that timeframe. I had to reload my cart no less than 7 times to make these purchases. I like to fill up my cart, narrow things down, switch colors, think it over, etc. This may be a few days’ process - not to mention I am busy with children and a job where I am often pulled away in the middle of things. I ended up taking screen shots of my cart so it was easy to refill when automatically emptied, but it would be nice if items can remain in the cart and just be removed if they sell out. Regardless, looking forward to many more beautiful, stylish clothes from Sézane!

Would it kill you to show the hem of a sweater or shirt?
Would it kill you to show the hem of a sweater or shirt? All your items are tucked into high waist pants or belted with huge belts. Do your photographer and stylist understand the difference between editorial and sales? Because I don’t need 15 photos of a model lying down, waltzing down some street or lounging into a chair. I need to know what the garment looks like - this includes the hem, waist and cut. Brands at all price points seem to grasp this concept. Your store looks like it’s selling women, not sweaters. I can only assume that the quality has become so diminished that you can’t actually show a clear photo of the entire item. You have to somehow obscure part of it to hide the defects in design. And FYI - most people above a size 2 don’t tuck the entire bottom of a bulky sweater into their pants. I’d like to meet whoever is like, “Hey, today is a good day to look fatter! Lets add a bunch of hidden bulk around my midsection so that inches are added to my waist and hips! Tuck that oversized wool sweater into my trousers.”

The APP
While the photography has an “edge,” it doesn’t really show the items. Many times the item I’m interested in is ancillary to the photo and I can’t get a real impression of what it looks like. Also, it’s unnecessary to have to press ‘validate’ every time you want to see the item in a different color. I would like to see photography that showcases the item. And I’d like to see ‘validate’ removed.

Cart not keeping my items in
I think the Sézane app is well built in terms of features/categories. The only reason why I rate it 4 of 5 stars is because the cart doesn’t keep my items in after some time. So I place what I want to order in my cart but keep on browsing in case I want to buy more. Then all of a sudden, when I want to go ahead and pay/place the order, everything is gone - disappeared from my cart. This morning again it happened twice. We’ll, too bad for them because I bought half of the clothes I originally wanted to buy…

Unable to create an account/poor customer service
I have tried at least a dozen times over the past week to use this app without success. It will not allow me to create an account - the button at the end will not load. I missed the Halloween sale after trying to place an order on the app but it taking me to the register page and not letting me register. I contacted customer support who told me over 3 emails, sorry don’t know what’s wrong. Very disappointed with the app because I really was hoping it would make shopping with sezane easier. I asked to be connected with a supervisor and was not given that opportunity.

Perfection
Hard to find quality these days. The fit on all the clothes is feminine and flattering. Very classy pieces. My only critique personally is that I can’t fit into the pants generally because I’m very curvy so my waist is small but my behind is not, so the dresses fit well but the pants are a little too slim for my figure. With that said I still try and have my eye on a pair.

Please fix this!
I'm a new fan of Sézane and been trying to collect more and more of the products. I've been loving the app as well because it's aesthetically pleasing but then I've encountered one problem.. Every time I tried to choose the "notify me" button, I got logged out instead from my account, so this caused me unable to fill my stock alerts section. It's a small problem but still such a bummer, would hope that Sézane would fix this soon. Also, another feedback. I've downloaded some clothing apps and there is this one app that would let you swipe the pictures without having to click on the preview pic first..that would be much more convenient in my opinion. Other than that, the app itself is beautifully made that I can't help to just open and browse once a day Thank you!

Love sezane; app update is buggy for cart
Sezane- please fix the cart!! My app has crashed twice tonight while on cart and deleted the cart. Also, saving the cart for only 16 minutes is very annoying… fine if you can’t “hold inventory” longer than that, but don’t delete the cart!! Very annoying to have to rebuild it when I had to put the phone down for 20 minutes to do something else…

Impossible to proceed the payment with the new version
The new app is beautiful but it doesn’t have the one thing you absolutely need: the possibility to actually validate your order! At the last step, there’s a bug saying: « Billing address problem (stateorprovince) » and it‘s impossible to validate your order. Also, Apple Pay doesn’t work either... Sézane please fix that! 🙌🙏

Very happy so far
I’ve only made two purchases so far, they were both delivered accurately and within 5 days of being ordered! I was nervous to order as there are many negative reviews about delays, but pleased to report that has not been my experience. Lovely clothes, it does help research each piece on their website and through user reviews to understand fit, composition, etc.

Beautiful and Unique Merchandise—Need Size Chart!
I have ordered several items from Sézane, and they are all beautiful and excellent quality. I would like to suggest that the company put a sizing chart with measurements, since they sell internationally and the clothing is French sizing. I have had to exchange items because I was taking a shot in the dark.

Stylish and great Quality
In the USA , most of us live in a fashion desert unless you live in one of the big cities like NY, LA, or San Francisco. So having a French online brand that make good quality clothes with that French twist has been in a life saver. I’m so glad they ship to US and have a reasonable return policy. Every item I have received from Sézane , I have loved.

Crashing/won’t even open!
This app has worked beautifully in the past; however, it won’t even open now. It crashes as soon as I click to open. I even updated it and still the same. Please fix before Sunday!

Pretty bad
Or rather pretty pictures but bad app. It took me so long to enter my address that I lost the chance to make my purchases. Both items sold out now. (The Rio collection, which I’d even tried earlier this AM and it wasn’t set up for purchase yet. I give up.) The screens for address addition are clunky and weird and this is only partially because it’s not properly built for US customers. Why do app builders not know the critical concept of user testing?? I’m really disappointed and probably won’t bother again.

Favorite Shopping
This store is so unique. I adore just about every piece which makes it difficult to decide what I can buy at that particular time. The belts are fantastic. I love their cardigans, jeans, blouses, dresses, boots! Everything I’ve purchased has been of the upmost quality. The store & clothing have a very feminine vibe yet you can always find a piece whether a belt, ring, tee shirt to bring your look to casual everyday look. Beautiful, but nonfunctional experience
I’ve loved the aesthetic and mission of this brand for a long time. Unfortunately, the UX does not align with the beautiful design. The app doesn’t allow for functionally choosing a geography (I’m in Portugal and EU countries are not displayed for me), the CTAs don’t work within checkout, and support simply suggests trying a laptop. Alas, I’m without a laptop at the moment and inventory sells out quickly, so the multiple items I attempted to purchase are no longer available. Quite unfortunate user experience for a brand that seems to value beautiful, thoughtful design.

Amazing App!!
I love the Sézane app so much! There are occasional instances of it crashing, however 99% of the time, it is fully capable of everything it’s meant to do. It’s a wonderful app and I highly recommend not to mean toon that the clothing line is STUNNING! Forever in love with Sézane! 5 stars for sure!!!

Not so easy to place an order
I feel that the way I have to choose my address was a little difficult. Nothing bad, but the app kept switching my address. It took me some time to finally choose my actual address. Not sure why. Thanks!

Frustrating
Checking out was impossible using the app. It would not let me validate my information even though everything was filled out on the form. Consequently, the time to complete my order expired and I lost everything in my basket. Had to use laptop to complete order. What’s the point of the app if you can’t use it to order things?

Favorite/save feature not functional
Love being able to browse via app but I’ve been unable to use the Save feature. Nothing happens when I tap the heart on any product page. Please fix as I’d love to use this feature!

Sadly features are missing
The previous version of the app made it clear what items are in stock from your wishlist, now that feature use no longer available. Since it is what I primarily used the app for, it's not as useful anymore. Please bring that feature back! 🙏

High quality and elegant

Check out was difficult
The address part is odd and it was greyed out when I wanted to go to next part even though it was correct. Also it forced me to do the $15 delivery fee vs the $8. It was greyed out for the $8 so I had no choice. It was frustrating and took awhile. All else was amazing.

Cannot register to create an account.
This site has issues, maybe need to fix it for iOS because the app will not let you create a new account and my iMac is doing the same thing, you fill in all required info but the register button won’t work at the bottom of the page. 🙁

Sold Out!
There were several knit wear styles I Loved in the most beautiful colors (Laurel, Wisteria & Violet), but these were all sold out in size Medium, so I was not able to order any of them. I do hope they will be re-stocked soon. I was able to order the Georgia High Mary Jane’s & am looking forward to their arrival.

Address not valid
I have tried to place an order from app and then from website. It will not accept my home address as a valid address. No way to talk to someone via a ‘chat’. Tried to click email button. Didn’t work either. I have ordered once before with delivery to my home. So frustrated.

Love the clothes; wish the app worked
Get it together! Your app is always frozen or crashing, and the time allowed to checkout is insufficient. I just had 5 items in my cart and was selecting shipping method and was timed out—now I have an empty cart and have to slog through the app again to add everything. Tip: if the customer is in the checkout flow, it’s in your interest to not clear their cart!

Terrible app to have to use
Love the brand, hate this app. It takes 10 minutes just to find a simple list of clothing options by type when you first start using it. Then the shopping basket will only keep things in it for 30 min so if you don’t buy right then you have to start all over. There’s no size guide. I wasn’t able to add a unit number to my address. Basically, this thing is a dumpster fire.

Not functional
Every time I try to hit the heart button to save to favorites it doesn’t work. I just updated the app and it did nothing. When I tried to turn on notification alert for an item it just kept loading and eventually I just closed app to open again.

Still crashes during checkout
Was trying to make a purchase in the app yesterday when the app crashed on me repeatedly suiting checkout process. After sheer brute force it finally worked but it was painful. Would appreciate a more streamlined checkout process that’s integrated with my account.

Beautiful app, but bugs
App kept logging me out every 5 sec so it’s impossible to use save/like button. My shopping cart went empty when I was about to place an order, so I had to look for all the items (10!) all over again

Gone downhill
I’ve ordered things in the past without issue. Lately I’ve had packages randomly cancelled with no reason after waiting for weeks to get them. They have horrible customer service and don’t really do anything to help you as paying customer—similar companies go above and beyond to make things right and they just don’t care.

So complicated to find anything or to sign up or pay. You want too much personal information. Constant glitches with screen shutting down. Setting up shipping was so frustrating and again lots of glitches. I almost gave up and didn’t order… : / if people don’t want to log in make it easy for them to buy your product- sheesh!

Archive sale is a poor marketing tactic
You go online exactly at the destination time for the archive sale and there is just about nothing left in jewelry and household. Why have a sale when you don’t have enough inventory? Very frustrating. Seems Sézane doesn’t care about its customers.

needs improvements
The app crashes a lot, especially during the archives sale, and will empty out your entire cart :,) additionally, notifications have never worked for me and i wish they would so i could actually receive stock alerts.

Love the clothes, hate the app
The clothes are amazing but their app is a mess. The stock alert page used to be my go to, now it’s been limited to very few of my restock alerts and the order is from the oldest to the newest which is the opposite of what anyone would want. If you can’t improve it, revert it because the way that it is right now, it’s useless.

Is the basket timer really necessary
Easy to navigate store, very difficult to shop when there is a 30 minute timer on the basket. Had to start over several times.

Great shop, buggy app
For years the app has never worked for creating or logging in to an account. It always results in an error which means you cannot favorite items and in stock alerts won’t work properly. Overall makes for a very frustrating experience.
