I also agree with the user who wrote on August 6 that “it would be great if you could just put in your phone number and it would automatically load all the deals or rewards”instead of having to clip them into your account. I have had the same experience with the app crashing when you do try to do something every time. I have tried to delete the app and then reload it but still no improvement. When it crashes your rewards are gone or deleted. Don’t try calling the store because they have no empathy when you explain what has happened. It’s like they say somehow that you are to blame, even though the rewards were there and they disappear mysteriously. Or I have been told something like they expired. On some deals, they have certain days or products where you get double the rewards however the app does not track them properly because they are not showing up. Like the previous person to comment, I too shop almost exclusive Save-mart but the constant problems with the app crashing , the poor feedback from the administrators of the individual store and not tracking rewards are making it impossible to appreciate and really making it not worth the trouble. In this age,it is becoming clear that now it is reversed to where I mostly shop elsewhere exclusively due to the ease of an app that loads the deals correctly to avoid a headache.
Having rewards is great an all but honestly having to clip the coupons prior to entering my phone number or scanning makes me not want to even bother with rewards at all. It’s a hassle. It would be great if there were a way to automatically deduct the deals just by entering the phone number for rewards or scanning. Most of the time when I try to apply rewards earned the app crashes or doesn’t load and somehow now I have negative rewards. I shop at save mart almost exclusively for groceries. It’s just that as a busy mom I don’t have time to pre shop before shopping and my anxiety goes thru the roof making people wait behind me so I can search for the coupons of the items I added to my cart and I constantly apologize to the people behind me for being unprepared. Other than that I suppose the app is okay.
Agree with others are saying. Glitchy. Wouldn’t let me access coupons. It’s annoying enough as it is to clip them. Agree with others are suggesting too to just make coupons accessible by punching in your phone number. Needs a lot of improvement & changes. Just annoying.
This is a completely unusable app. I think intentionally they have set it up to gather all of our information, but to give us absolutely no rewards. When I pull up the app at home, I am automatically logged in, but the minute I’m in the store, it not only logs me out, but will not let me log myself back in. Even if I choose “forgot my password“ it tells me my email address is not valid, which is incorrect as I can see that that is my email when I get home and see myself logged in. While locked out at the store, it gives me a link to “call“ or “email“. I have tried both and received absolutely no service. The boy at the end of the phone was an absolute waste of time. They need to not fraudulently pretend that they understand the technology required to run an app and delete this app immediately.
Your new version of the Save Mart app will not let me log into my account. I put in my user name and it will not allow the cursor to go to the password field. because of this I am not able to access coupons look at my shopping history or create any kind of shopping list I have gone into my local store to try to get abs support and they have the same problem logging into my account and don’t know how to fix it. I have deleted and re-download the app I have done everything possible to try to get this app to work on my iPhone 13. Today I tried to fix it again by deleting the app and downloading it again and now the app won’t even show up on my phone I’m about ready to become a permanent Raleys shopper
The app takes forever to load, and once it does finally open, it doesn’t work! You cannot access the digital coupons to add them to your account - the link for “coupons” doesn’t show the digital coupons that are featured in the current week’s ad. And if you try to search for the item in the ad (which takes forever to load), there is still no option for the digital coupon!!! You can only send a link to that item or add it to your shopping list in the app. By and far the worst app for grocery stores - so frustrating that I usually shop Safeway or Raley’s and pay the higher prices because it’s less infuriating.
This app use to work really well. Now the coupons won’t stay clipped! It’s so frustrating. I have to open the app in the store , clip the coupon and leave my app open so the coupon comes off at check out. I thought oh it’s just a glitch but it’s been like this for well over a month. I hardly even shop at Savemart anymore because I can’t get my coupons to stay clipped. PLEASE fix this ! I even emailed Savemart but have yet to get a response. I’m completely and utterly frustrated!
Tried to creat an account, was in the verge of completing it when it said there was a problem. Closed and reopened the app and had to start all over the creating account when an other sign popped up saying the phone number was already used and to use a different one. Checked email to see if account was actually made and nothing. So once again deleting it since it doesn’t work and it’s sad that they have it advertised in stores as the best thing when it’s not.
Why? Every time I’m trying to add coupons, it says try again. Some clip no problem. More often than not, UNEXPIRED coupons glitch and don’t clip. We’re talking coupons that have DAYS or WEEKS before expiration. It’s a hassle and frankly very annoying. I’m busy, as are majority of people. So it’s disheartening when I take time out of my day to clip coupons and plan my shopping trip. Mainly after work as I live out of town. Fix it please, it’s like we’re being taunted.
I loaded my information into the the app and it crashed. Deleted and reloaded, wouldn’t work. Tried to start over and it said I already had an account…that I can’t access. Restarted again using a different phone number and it only took 5 digits of the number. So now I have only a partial number AND I CAN’T EDIT IT. Frustrating app, still freezes and doesn’t always open properly
I’ve been avoiding downloading the app. On my last visit the checker in front of me helped an elderly man set up the app while we all waited in line. The poor checker was trying so hard to help the guy out, it was embarrassing for all of us. Today, I had to have the app to get get a 1/2 off deal. I search for the item but could not find the coupon, the checker had to take my phone and find it for me. Requiring me to have this app is why I’ll no longer be shopping at Savemart. The experience was so frustrating I wanted to leave my items but that’s just rude to the employees. My store is across from a Walmart neighborhood market and now that’s a better experience… Sad day for Savemart.
Why won’t this app maintain my login information? Just keep me logged in! It won’t even stay logged in throughout my shopping trip. Why can’t I quickly add rewards to my account? Everything is so time consuming and too many clicks. It does have nice graphics and I love the logo.
Ever since the new owners took over the app does not work properly and I can’t never get my deal, or the digital coupons ! Fix as soon as possible. The store is pricey to start with and then the coupons you can’t even load and then by chance you load it it doesn’t work when you go to the store because your system is down.
The app is no longer working. It won’t load, when you think it is and you clip the coupons they aren’t actually clipped. You make a purchase and the coupon or offer is not applied. You can’t complain because it looks like you just forgot to clip the offer. SaveMart is going to lose our business over this. I’ll shop Raleys
The app is archaic to say the least, difficult to navigate, won’t leave you signed in, needs a complete overhaul. Also, having to clip the coupons in the app is so frustrating, they should be automatically loaded into your account or at least have a “clip all” button. Definitely makes me want to shop elsewhere
Your app is horrible. Tried setting up an acct with my email. Asks for phone # which I provide. Says it’s already registered..from what? A rewards card from 20 yrs ago? There’s no option to sign in with my phone # and I never gave save mart my email. There seems to be zero way to create an acct unless I use some fake phone number
I need to be able to sort by all my clipped coupons. Also many times I try to search for product and it says nothing found. Example: It can’t find something as simple as baked chips.
Terrible app. Tried to shop and use the delivery service but it kept saying it could not process the payment. Tried multiple cards and still did not work. It also makes you sign-in multiple times which is inconvenient and annoying.
App is a great idea, but I feel like I am viewing through a door peep-hole. Seniors have a difficult time reading on small screens. I use a 11” ipad. Make the app fill the screen of an ipad. Then you get five stars from me. There are many apps that adjust to your screen size. Reach out to their programmers and learn how to do it.
Very glitchy, crashes all the time and you cant open it while in the store. I had over $20 in rewards but it crashed and now it doesnt even recognize my account. Lost it all.
During creating account it took all my data from the system:name, phone etc. Once account created and I tried to login in the shop with my phone number apparently I realized that it cut only first 4 digits. I can not edit the phone. I deleted the app. Not going to shop there
*I have to make a new password every time I sign in. Calling tech support doesn’t help. *Today it’s primary function is no longer working even after updating it will not show me anything they sell the app or my points.
The account was never setup, because it kept saying try again. I tried with multiple emails and nothing. As for clipping the coupons, it is the same thing. It doesn’t work and it won’t clip and it says to try again.
Even though the store has reasonable deals, you can’t get them if the app does not let you sign in. I have had this issue at least 14 out of 15 tries. Today I’m giving in, and won’t be looking at the ads either.
Somethings wrong with this app , and apparently it’s been going on for awhile . When I try to create an account it keeps saying “ somethings wrong “. I restarted sign up multiple times same thing . I have lots of accounts on apps and never had this problem .
Location is changed after looking for an item from Redding California to Modesto. Another user has reported guys you have not fixed this since December.
It’s impossible to login. I tried to create an account but it says that there is already an account with my email. I click to reset password but it never sends me an email. Nobody on the phone will help so this app is absolutely useless.
Horrible application, they advertise the cr@p out of it in store but don’t actually put in effort to make it work. Tried to create a log in, email login already exists…..Tried to reset my password, email login not found please sign up……. I-….. what?!?!
They really need to fire their app dev team and hire some people atleast remotely competent. Download the app because you have to use it to clip a coupon, meanwhile it will not actually allow me to clip the one I need, just keeps saying try again.
Here’s an idea - fire your developers and hire some with skills. You can pay them with the money you saved since none of us can use any of the coupons due to the app not letting us log in.
They claim access to everything. Read it! AND the app is messed up. Clunky, poor design. Very difficult to use. Very invasive without offering much in return for your life history.
Wish I could give LESS than one star…can’t seem to “clip” coupons. In addition, the majority of coupons are of nothing I use. The Safeway app is far and away a better app, significantly.
I was happy to see the signs in the store about the app. But it appears you can’t actually browse the store to shop unless you use Instacart. I had bad experiences with Instacart and so will not be using this app to shop.
Can we just use phone number instead of clipping ? I have a hard time logging in every time and some employees are rude and don’t want to take time to help
App not working, pages don’t load, keeps crashing. A little help would be nice. Also, clicking on app help link doesn’t even work. Why has this app gotten so bad?
This app needs to do better. I can’t see what was charged and what wasn’t! And on top of that they have no history of receipts. Make it make sense or I’ll make it make sense for you!!
Savemart, do yourself a favor..... copy the app from Raley’s. At least you will look like you attempted to try to have functioning software for your shoppers.
