All of the functions are pretty easy to find, but manipulating the fields can be a real pain. I find myself selecting some thing in a drop-down list, and then having to re-select it over and over. Also, just scrolling through pages in the app end up taking me to places I don’t want to be. The transfer pages are really clunky. It takes a lot of scrolling on the transfer page. To get to where you wanna go to enter data. I don’t be now. It’s just hard to get around in the application.
SESLOC is great, and the app works very well until it doesn’t. The problem is the lockout function when you either can’t remember your password or the Touch ID on your phone isn’t working well. I’m currently locked out for probably the 5th time, because every time it happens I have to reset my password, and it can’t be the same as before which drives you further into obscure passwords that you are even less likely to remember. Get rid of the limit on Touch ID attempts or password guesses and things will go a lot better, considering every time I get locked out it’s the middle of the night, trying to pay bills and the call center is closed and I can’t unlock my account.
My first impression of the update is good! It’s going to take some getting used to, there’s a lot more details now (which is very nice). My only complaint so far is: when transferring money within my own sub accounts, the text size of the sub account names/details was too large and ran off the screen, so I couldn’t easily identify which was which. It made knowing which account I wanted to transfer money hard to distinguish.
I am so very thankful to SESLOC especially this year! I have been diagnosed with a cancer- multiple myeloma and currently am living in another state for my chemotherapy treatment. I have had multiple banking concerns and SESLOC has helped me to navigate these with outstanding results. Many thanks to my Paso Robles bank for all of your help, kindnesses, and incredible support! SESLOC is the absolute worse place to keep your money. They accept bank levies and charge you $75 and inform you later. They say the system is what messes you up. You cannot get correct help from one rep. None of the info they give you is consistent or correct . So they took $75 NO OTHER bank does that well credit union. Do NOT do business as even though they are a non profit? They make so much money off of fees and messing up your loans and accounts. I used this account sparingly and have had more fees than usage. Then my card gets cut off for no reason. Another week of calls . You will spend your life on the phone with SESLOC and go grey
I have several apps for banking and investments. This one is fast to find what I need to reconcile accounts and transfer between them, and I can zip between accounts quickly. I find transferring funds to another bank absolutely the most convenient because another bank’s ATM is much closer to my house. I hardly ever have to step into a bank building.
New update is great, used to be so basic and you couldn’t see your credit score and now they even have the score simulator which is interesting, still wish paying off a credit card could be a one button thing instead of multiple drop down menus every time.
Why better? Because it actually holds whichever keyboard you have up, and doesn't revert to the default of alpha. If you have more than one consecutive number in your password this can be annoying on their website - although it didn't used to work like this, it was fine.
I kept being concerned that I couldn’t leave the big, stupid and greedy national bank because the app for a credit union wouldn’t be good enough. My conclusion is that this app is just as good as theirs was and the layout is more thoughtful. And the fact that I don’t get a sinking feeling logging in to look at my checking account anymore is a revelation. Thank you, SESLOC, and thank you to your app developers!
It’s fairly easy to use. But I’d really like a search transaction function that worked when using the keyword search of transactions. Say, if I’m trying to find out what my last ATT bill was. It’s never worked for me to enter “ATT” in the keyword search and get any results. Same for any other keyword I try even when I’m sure the word I’m searching is a stand alone term in the transaction history.
I’ve been using this app for about two years now and love it. I haven’t been to the bank location more than one or two times since I got the app because I can do almost everything from home. The only negative is that taking photos of the checks can be glitchy.
I haven’t had problems with using it. Now, with the direct deposit for checks, this app does everything I need it to do. Could it be better? Possibly. But I think it’s advancing in the right direction.
Sesloc app was well-designed, with user interface the priority. I can easily navigate multiple levels and find everything I need. Thank you for making online banking with you easy, efficient, and stress-free. Excellent user interface! 😊
Been using this app to do our mobile banking for a while now and find it’s great. Depositing checks from home is a smooth seamless process with no difficulties encountered. Checking the accounts online is fast and accurate. Who could ask for more.
I really appreciate the efficiency of this app. It is user-friendly and simple to use and I can quickly find out balances in my accounts, make transfers, and other take care of other banking needs. Easy breezy!
After the newest update all but a few of my mobile deposits have failed to register. When I call to ask what the problem is all I am told is to “try again- it should work”. Well, it doesn’t most of the time and seeing as how I live out of the area while continuing to bank with a credit union- I rely heavily on this feature to deposit money into my account. I wish this bug or whatever it is, was fixed.
It’s the update to the bill pay I don’t like. I prefer when I can enter amounts to multiple bills and only hit submit once to pay all bills simultaneously. I don’t like the individual pay we are now needing to do.
The app was great for the year plus that I’ve had it on my phone then all of a sudden I go to use it tonight & my finger print scan doesn’t work & it doesn’t recognize my device browser? Nothing has changed I’ve had the same phone same number & God knows my fingerprint didn’t change so it’s an inconvenience that is unnecessary.
Everything on the app works great but the only issue is they don’t support most online transactions, for example if you wanted to transfer money from another bank especially online based, it will not work.
I moved out of state and this app has worked seamlessly for us. We have had no problems depositing checks or making transfers. It is easy to use and very user-friendly.
Doing a one time transfer and noticed I could set up a weekly, monthly etc transfer option. Nice to have those options right at my fingers tips and so easy 😊
The app. Works, most of the time. Ironically one of the times it spun up for minutes before crashing was followed by this rate our app. Invite. Overall it works well but the same bugs have been there for a few years now. How about a little software maintenance and bug fixes eh?
There’s a glitch in the app. When I tap the right three bars to see the menu the screen keeps going back to the left. I have to tap fast if I want to actually look at my accounts.
It takes way to long to figure everything out. Also I had an auto pay set up with another back for my car. I canceled it and started a new one that was for a little more. They never canceled the other one after I requested it in the app. So I ended up making a double payment all on the same day and am now on the road (truck driver) and have no money because the app doesn’t work properly.
So convenient! Don’t know how I ever got along without it! Can always keep track of my checks that have cleared and transfer funds quick if needed. Everyone should get it!
I’ve been with Sesloc Federal Credit Union for more than 2 decades. There services have been outstanding. I choose Sesloc for my banking needs, rather than a regular bank.
I’m considering switching to any other bank because I can’t even log in to my account. And once I do, I can’t even get back on because it makes me re sign in even when I’ve pressed the “remember me” button. This app makes me create a new login ID and password for every time I go to login. Worst app I’ve came across. You would think that a federal bank would have the decency to make an app that lets people sign in.
Basic functions ok; adding external accts not intuitive; changing names of accts not intuitive so help could be better; balances don’t reflect actual balance which is maddening! Loading app to deposit check is really slow sometimes hangs or fails.
Can’t find my interest income for 2021. I have to pay taxes! Should have a log out button on top of the menu not the bottom for easy access. Also it should be on the main page.
I can never seem to deposit a check without doing it 36 times with it crashing (and no I’m not exaggerating I actually counted) and still no luck. If I wasn’t forced to use the app for depositing my checks due to my location, I would never use this app. Absolutely terrible. Never gets fixed in any updates either. I’ve been using it for years.
Easy to use. The only item that would be helpful is the ability to send money via pop money or one of the other electronic ways that other financial institutions use.
Unable to get like all my payments for medical. This is normal for with other specifics I have looked for. Also when wanting to review bank statements from a few months back can’t do, so I get paper statements. When requested paper was told it would cost me so paper statements monthly I found the way I can go to my get what I want.
