I thought the process was easy but they didn’t give you enough information about the shipping label that has to be attached with a special FedEx case around it I had to leave my house twice once to go print the shipping label and the second time to go get the FedEx pouch
Working in south Florida I’ve unpacked thousands of bags without issue. Just had my personal bag picked up from FL and dropped in MS. To my surprise and satisfaction, they arrived in two days! Great customer service over the phone as well. As a golf professional, there’s no other way to go. I have had too many problems with clubs being checked on airlines and broken or lost! This way you can avoid taking clubs to the airport or storing them in a hotel room and delivered directly to the club/course at the same price of less than checking a bag!
The app is fine however it does not have accurate information on the location of Fed Ex stores. They send you to a dropbox where you cannot leave your golf clubs or luggage. For me there was not a location within 100 miles of my home and they wanted to charge me extra money to change the carrier. With this service you are paying for a company to book the shipping of your items through UPS, FedEx, or DHL. All they do is collect the money and send you a shipping label. Those aforementioned companies pick it up, Ship it and deliver it. All this company does is collect the money and pay the shipping. They provide no other service so you might as well just take it to the Fed Ex office store or the UPS store.
First time using ship sticks, there was an issue when fed ex came to pick up my clubs and they did not get them. I received a call 1 day later from ship sticks saying they did not receive any tracking, they resolved the issue for me even though I was the one who made a mistake and still were able to get clubs back to me on schedule. I am beyond pleased and will be using them for every golf trip I ever go on.
Worst company ever. Do not use this company. Very misleading. I thought that they bring the box and put my clubs in the box and ship them as part of the package. Needless to say they grabbed my golf bag which was not in a box and shipped it across the country all the pockets are empty now including my sunglasses and my GPS. Not to mention the bag which is probably 1 to 2 years old now looks like it’s been drug across the loading docks and trucks etc.…. Who does that, take somebody’s golf bag with expensive clubs and ships them across the country. They could have refused to take it but instead they grab the bag and shipped it I would rather they call me instead of trashing my golf bag and making it easy for someone to steal stuff out of the bag. I called them twice now and all I get is BS. I put the blame on them because their website was not straight up and did not specify that the customer has to box up the golf clubs. They made the mistake of picking up the golf bag and taking it across country without being in a box. Terrible terrible terrible
If I could leave negative stars I would! If you want your clubs to arrive at their destination DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP THEM!! Paid for 3 day service and 4 days AFTER delivery date, we are still trying to find the clubs!! Customer service has been non responsive & couldn’t care less that their service failed!! Read the reviews & check the BBB if you need confirmation of poor service!! I didn’t read them until it was too late! Hopefully I can save someone else From losing a set of clubs! Currently at FedEx hub for our city and no sign of the clubs or anyone who knows where they might be!!
Update: the app does not freeze anymore, but if I switch to another screen to see my shipping address or recipient telephone number, and I go back to the app, it starts over from the beginning screen. So I only use the website now. This really needs to be fixed otherwise it’s probably crushing your sales volume. How are people supposed to ship anything if the app kicks you out? App will randomly freeze and delete all info. Deleted it. Hope they don’t delete / lose my bag too!
I didn’t think Ship Sticks could get any easier, but the app takes the experience to an entirely new level. The design is modern and the tabs are easy to navigate, with unique capabilities that allow you to track your shipments more efficiently. Highly recommend for any new or existing Ship Sticks customer.
Simple to use and top class customer service. Extremely impressed. Not everything went right in my shipment, but Ship Sticks customer service did everything the could to make it right. Top class.
Shipped my clubs from Florida to Shinnecock Hills and have no complaints. I was able to track my clubs every step of the way with the app and was notified when they arrived. I would definitely trust this company to ship my clubs again in the future.
Customer service is lacking. Club pick up is supposedly between 9 am and 6 pm. When called customer service did not have an answer on the first call. Second call clubs would not go out until Tuesday which is understandable as Monday is a holiday but clubs need to be at destination on Friday one week from today. No solution offered. Then company rejects the poor review by making customer add a nickname which when input is already taken.
I have used Ship Sticks on several occasions and their performance has been great each time. My clubs were picked up on time, delivered on time, and delivered in good condition. I will use them again!
The App made booking and order extremely easy and efficient. Within minutes I was able to create a shipping label and can pull up tracking with the click of a button. Good stuff!
I do not like 2 things about this app. 1) Ship sticks does not offer you the shipping/luggage tags needed. You still have to go to fedex to get the appropriate documents to ship the bags. At that point, I might as well have taken the bags with me to fedex and had them ship them. 2) They give you an 8 hour window with no updates whatsoever as to who/when your bags are being picked up or dropped off.
I’ve used ShipSticks twice. The first time went smoothly for ground transport (w/o the free ground return). The second time caused me to miss a tee time. I used round trip ground shipping with a 50% off discount. Delivery to the course took 2 1/2 business days, the return, it is at 5+ business days as I write this. Not a good look and I hope you take this advice golfers.
This app made it easy to ship my clubs. All I had to do was enter my shipping info to get started. After I was finished, I printed the shipping labels from my phone. I couldn’t of asked for a better process.
Makes booking faster and walks you through each step to help eliminate address and user errors. The app also saves my baggage details and travel routes for future trips.
An email address showed up when I created an account and now I can’t change the email address, and when I contacted ship sticks, the person said we have the correct email in our system. That doesn’t help me trying to get anywhere using the mobile app, nor is it showing my upcoming pick up and delivery date.
The Ship Sticks app is great! It looks very clean and nice. It was easy to track shipments and log into my account to look at my order. Love it and I can’t wait to keep using it!
2 two day air from middle of Pacific Ocean (Hawaii) to North Carolina! Fast, cheap, and clubs were handled how they should be. Will definitely use this service again and again and again.
App could be great but lacking. Needs to stop logging you out every time you switch to another app. Makes entering addresses a nuisance. How about a link to FedEx tracking numbers. The golf bag descriptions you enter don’t show on the summary so it’s hard to know which labels go with which bags. Also need to have FedEx provide shipping labels for pick ups.
I use Ship Sticks to ship my golf clubs when traveling out of state. I never have to worry about their arrival. This company is efficient and trustworthy. Their customer service is awesome!
So long story short , shipped bag during the nation wide cold spell !! Paid over night delivery. Shop sticks called 3 times to explain delay . Was not thrilled as I needed clubs for tournament. They reversed charges which was nice but not necessary. Used again three days ago ! Picked up on time and delivered on time ! I’m hooked ! No more carrying bags on planes ! Glad I stayed with Ship Sticks ! Thank you Michael
I would not use this service again. When they were unable to recognize my address, they tried to force me to upgrade another 100$ because they would not be able to get my clubs to me when I originally scheduled.
On time as promised. Ability to track with regular status updates. FedEx, pickup, reporting, and bag placement on delivery are excellent. Shipment executed to perfection, ME to FL. Will continue to use and refer.
They now “hide” the cheapest insurance option, and “hide” that they are adding a fuel surcharge. Is the total $70? Nope! It’s $80 and we make it almost impossible to see why the total is different than the price we quoted you.
Downloaded the app thinking this is a fantastic idea. However after reviewing the cost it seems to work out easier to just rent clubs at your destination. If there is a way to bring the price point down a bit this will become a great APP
Everything went as expected. Shipping and drop off was effortless (Federal express). Delivery was a no brainior . Hotel put in clubs my room . Priceing /cost. Was fair. Thank you very much 🥇
The app sticks in portrait orientation, and does not rotate to landscape on my IPad Pro. I checked the lock on my control panel, rebooted the computer, but nothing worked. Very difficult to place orders with this app and this problem.
A very annoying app to use. I can’t believe people will pay that much to ship their clubs. They won’t be touching my clubs. I’ll just take them with me on the plane. Garbage.
I think they lost my clubs. Seems like the fed ex driver left my clubs on the street. Shipsticks does not require a signature upon delivery, which seems crazy to me for such a high ticket item.
