Just too slow to rate well.
As much as I like reminiscing about flip phones when they first could connected to the Internet, the speed of this app is just way too slow. It is only justified by the coupons and discounts that you get, which is why I keep using it. I have to have an hour and a lot of patience to put together a grocery order, but have no trouble reserving slots and keeping them through checkout. I always make a note to make sure the coupon deducts (the one in the mail on the app), and 100% of the time they have to apply it manually onto my check. It shows where the app put it, but it is always zero. The one time it didn’t, they sent a request and I never heard back from anyone. They said it couldn’t be taken care of in the store. and yes, I am spending enough money for the coupons to be taking off the amount they’re supposed to. always add extra things to your cart for this reason, because if you’re like me, you do not allow substitutions and they can be out of things. Beside all of that, it is the best way to save money on grocery shopping. oh, and it may be a good idea to check your receipts and order before you drive away. Also, when using the flyer on the app, you will have to scroll outside of the image to see the whole flyer. No, it is not easy or convenient to do that.

I WANT to like this app!
I really prefer to shop at Market Street. Shopping via the app makes it so much easier for a working mom. But this app is too cumbersome. Too hard to find items in search. Too hard to find sale items and doesn’t allow you to click from an ad. Too slow to load. Etc. I know many others who feel the same. There is no excuse for a poor app! When I need to run in and get a few things I come to Market Street. But I use the HEB app for pickup. It’s so much easier! :(

Love the store, app is horrible!
Market Street is my preferred store. Spending time putting together an order, only to get to checkout and losing reserved time is frustrating and a waste of time. This has happened multiple times where the app takes so long that I miss my reserved time OR today I reserved a time and went to check out only to find my time slot was sold out. Not sure how it sells out when I have a slot reserved. I reserve the next open slot and attempt to checkout, only to find the time slot is again sold out. I reserve the next available time slot and cannot checkout at all. I continuously try to proceed to checkout and after several minutes of waiting for the app find myself right back at the same screen. In addition, the delivery screen does not show any times available. I called the store and was informed there were pick up slots available in my first two reserved times and also delivery slots available. I was told to submit order through app, which is not working. Unfortunately, I cannot get to checkout on the app. Instead, I’ll put this order through Kroger or Tom Thumb’s app, where I have not experienced any issues. Signed, a disappointed customer.

Internet service/ digital coupons
First let me say, I love shopping at market street, I have in McKinney and Frisco. I never shopped there because of price, quality of the products and the outstanding customer service is why I went. I didn’t worry about the Pennie’s difference,, but times have changed and groceries are up 25% over the last 3 years. So more times than not I take a look at the weekly sale papers for what I need. Everyone does it differently and if I find the price unreasonable I just buy it someplace else. This app is the worst experience I have ever had shopping anywhere, the digital deals that you have to use this app for are not worth the aggravation it will put you through. The stores have very poor service, connecting to their app is almost impossible in their stores. I called customer service to complain, they were very understanding, they agreed about the internet, they told me to used the app at home 30 minutes before I visit the store🤷🏼‍♂️. Let that sink in. The process is to provide convenience, I don’t clip coupons, I wish I had the time to do something so simple, clip coupons. But if I’m in the store and try the app in house there is a 9-10 chance I will go home without the item, the app will not inside the store. I will just get frustrated, irritated or just leave and go to Kroger, this app is horrible, just horrible , don’t count on it to use it. Frisco Texas

Punchcard Program Update (Seriously?)
This App is almost completely unusable. I have an iPhone 14 and a Master’s degree in programming/computers/etc. I am more than willing to work through glitches as I used to be a programmer before I retired. However, I cannot use this app. It requires multiple password changes, links don’t work, and pages don’t load. The little black-line graphics are cute but take up unnecessary time, resources, and whatever is crucial to allow the app to run proficiently. The Rewards program should not NOT require a separate sign in. One sign-in for everything and every department is sufficient. There is no cohesion in this app. I cannot recommend this app to anyone. I order food every week and usually use Walmart but decided to try MarketStreet since it is closer. After three days of trying to get the MarketStreet/United App to work, and failing miserably, I am either going to have to find a different grocery store or go back to Walmart.

Poor App and Rude Developers
This app is honestly one of the worst I’ve used. It constantly crashes, re-adds stuff I’ve removed from my cart, sometimes won’t let me log-in, and the rewards/deals just won’t show up sometimes and says I have nothing. I’ve read through the reviews and tons of other people are having the same problems, but the developers responses are placing the blame on the users and not taking responsibility for the awful app and not fixing anything. Borderline calling people liars for their reviews. Or they are just copying and pasting the same unhelpful response to contact marketstreet, and are providing no actual help or sympathy towards the issues. Not only does the app need to be fixed, but there needs to be some training for whoever is responding to these reviews.

Had to leave market street
Have been going to market street approximately 30 years. I love this store being employees and really everything about it. As I got old, I had to do delivery. At first, that was wonderful as their own employees delivered. I started having trouble with the app changing passwords, losing information. It got worse and worse, and eventually I had to change stores. This broke my heart as I was market Street, I tried resolving this for a year with their IT people long distance, but no luck. Maybe this will change something. We doubt it but I would love to go back. App just did it again. Wanted a nickname and then froze up. Oh well. Once again nick name taken. Too frustrating as any experience on internet with them ends in frustration for me

Clumsy slow unreliable inaccurate
I have used this app for a few years now and I’m always disappointed. I use it weekly for my mother’s groceries as the store is close to work. It is chronically slow and awkward. The digital deals in the ad aren’t always on the deals list. You have to spell your item precisely. There is not sounds like feature. I use H‑E‑B and Walmart shopping pick up apps for my own groceries and they are seamless, fast, easy to navigate and reliable so I know the technology exists. I think United is really losing money not fixing their systems. Do not recommend at all. Plus the fact that I have a market street app and a regular United app is redundant and stupid. It’s all the same company. How about you fix one before trying to do multiples. It’s a total pain.

Worthless!
This app is absolutely worthless! I can’t even log on. When I was able to log on, months ago now, it was only mostly worthless. Items were in the most absurd departments, making it impossible to find them. How would anyone know to find tampons in produce? Ready made pie crusts are not in baking goods. I never found where they were. Many items were this absurd to find. Once you click on an item or department to look at, the time it takes to load makes it easier to just go to the store and walk the aisles. Since my body can’t do that, I gave up and tried somewhere else. But for several months now, I haven’t even been able to get into the app to be frustrated finding things!

Impossible app to use
I just wanted to see if they had an item available in the store. Oh, needs an update before I can use it. Okay updated. Now I have to choose a store. Sounds reasonable. I’ve been trying to get past the “choose a store” page for twenty minutes and finally gave up. I know my store, but can’t figure out how to get the app to acknowledge that. Walmart? Jumps right into the shopping page. Kroger? Same. Tom Thumb, same. Target, same. This is the most opaque, difficult to use grocery store app I’ve ever tried to deal with. I really like shopping at Market Street but I advise just avoiding this wretched, awful, impossible app, unless aggravation is something you really enjoy. Too bad zero stars isn’t an option.

Locked out AGAIN, even using facial recognition to try logging in
So frustrated. In my small town, shopping options are limited. Market Street is my neighborhood preference and I like most everything about it (except for corporate greed in being unwilling to come up with a decent wage for the dedicated workers doing all the hard work). Every time I use the app to order for pickup or delivery I have to reset everything. Today I will try reinstalling the app to be certain it’s not some sort of glitch on my end. If not, I’ll do what I’ve done the past several times — give up on Market Street and order from their competitor using their much more accessible app.

App needs to be updated.
Market street and the United family are one of my favorite go to for my needs; but the app seems to be outdated compared to the grocery competition. 1- the ordering process takes to long . 2- searching for a specific product other than the ad or other specials because of the limitations of the apps product file. 3-I’ve tried to add my payment method to no avail. 4- have to start over to reorder because of the expired availability time slots. This app needs a more robust seamless operating program that searches can represent every item that the store and family of stores sell.

Really Poor App…
I’ve been a United and Market Street customer for over well over 20 years, but across the range of good and bad services provided by United, this app is by far the worst. It is clunky, it’s inventory range that you can search from leaves out hundreds of products, the buttons themselves are fidgety, and the checkout process is plagued with bugs. Just like watching the service decline in physical United stores, use of this app will make you wish you had HEB nearby to shop from instead. United needs to compare their app to Walmart and other grocery store apps and look seriously at a redesign.

Glitchy
This app is the WORST of the shopping apps I have tried to use & now market street is forcing pharmacy customers to use this app instead of their pharmacy app. First attempt to set up my profile and it locked me out & the tech support can't figure out how to fix it. The pharmacy app that's being canceled is amazing and now I am totally locked out without any access to my family's prescription data. Why couldn't you just leave things alone? Your all new beta pharmacy is a joke.

Searching
I can never search for what I want. If you type in cold brew coffee the first, second and third things that come up are ground beef, hamburger buns and chicken drumsticks. Everybody should delete this app forget about the store Itself and just shop at H‑E‑B. Even if You don’t have an H‑E‑B it’s worth the wait/drive. I can’t believe I’m about to say this but Walmart app is even better. The app feels like it was developed by inner city high school students that were volunteering basically practicing to see if they could do make an app. They will probably have a great future ahead of them just not yet.

When it works, it can be helpful
Imagine being in the deli and there’s a couple of items which no shelf tag so you open the app to scan the product for the price. It takes 3-4 minutes to even open and then it asks you what store and location even though you were logged in to your store before you arrived. What a time waster! It’s like you don’t want us to see the deals.

So many issues
So many issues with the app… I place an order and it never sends a confirmation. Sometimes the order goes through, which I discover only when I get a text at the scheduled time of pick up that my order is ready. Other times, my order never goes through. When I try to place it again it says “error, order complete.” It does not have a lot of items in the app that I frequently order in the store. I hope you guys will improve because market street is my go-to grocery store!

So frustrating!
Before the “upgraded app” mine was slow at times, but since the change I have had nothing but trouble! I am off work Wednesdays so that’s when I grocery shop, which was convenient for shopping the new ads at United, but when you cannot even open the app, it’s incredibly frustrating. The price of groceries is ridiculous, so I rely on the coupons, but those are inaccessible without the app before of the way you’ve set it up. Please please please! Fix the app! I don’t want to start shopping elsewhere

Terrible App
This app is very poor. I prefer to order groceries online and not have to go to the store. It is sad that with all of the negative reviews that this company has clearly chosen not to invest in fixing the issues. I have spent all morning just trying to place an order for pickup to no avail. The app is extremely slow and sometimes completely unresponsive. I don’t trust that my order will really be placed or fulfilled and I certainly don’t feel comfortable entering my credit card number into an app that is so operationally unreliable.

Will it ever be useable?
First off - don’t comment telling me to reach out to guest services to troubleshoot because the only thing that will help me and anyone else is hiring someone to make a new app and separating out the pharmacy section. This app works, but barely. The recent addition of pharmacy services added multiple steps to log in and check on any prescriptions. It’s incredibly slow. I never use pickup or delivery services because of this app. This app is actually costing the company money if you read others reviews.

Unstable app
This app is difficult to set up to say the least. Then once you do get it set up and you are logged in and you are finished and log out Face ID portion immediately pops up and logs you back in and then the app freezes. The only way to get out of the freeze is restart my phone. Fix the app so it functions with a resign in delay so you can close the app. If you can’t fix it get rid of it. A 2 star rating should have been enough to deter me but I was hoping the issues were fix. Obviously not.

Just OK
The app takes quite a bit to navigate through and make selections. And even worse, not the apps fault, most of the things you order get substituted for higher price items. They should either say the item is out of stock or they should send you the items to be substituted for approval. I can’t wait for the pandemic restrictions to end so I can do my own shopping, make my own selections, at a time that works for me.

Extremely slow and today login failed
I never wrote an app review. But today I feel have to make my first time review with the hope that if marketstreet management team can see it. I have been using it frequently over one month. It has always been slow responsive. AND today the app denied to login couple times 11 am in the morning. Seriously?! Can you please maintain app system during night time? Or can you please switch a better faster server? Hope this helps you get better. Love shopping there though but not in app

No RX option
I was prompted to download this app to use at market street pharmacy. Sadly, the only options on the home page are grocery pickup, grocery delivery, make a list and shop in store, order party trays, order custom cakes, and order gift cards. There is no pharmacy option. Am I supposed to guess which option includes the pharmacy? Perhaps the grocery pickup? Is it the custom cakes or the party trays? It is terrible customer service and IT support to prompt customers to change apps and then not have the apps work.

This new version not reliable
I would rather keep the pharmacy separate as an app. It worked consistently before but this new one started out as too much info but now it is hit and miss to off its working and the update to pharmacy is making it worse from when the combine app launched. Sadly. Saving coupon deals is also unreliable if you will even get the list to clip when you want to. Please fix bugs!!!! Won’t stop my business to United. But I love technology when it works.

App and website both are poorly designed
This app constantly stops working, signs me out and it’s very user unfriendly. Same goes for the website. Can’t even enlarge the detail so you can see what it is without clicking on each item. I love Marketstreet, but they need to get their web and digital act together or they will fall behind those store that do it right.

Improved app
The latest update has greatly improved the app. Faster and more reaponsive. Not an online shopper so I can’t speak to anything on that side, but the rewards/deals/coupons seem better and easier to use

Horrible APP update
Opened my app, and was notified to update to the improved, new APP. Did it, but had to sign in. APP recognized email ID, but not my password. Tried to reset password, received the reset page, entered a new password…”password failed… try again later.” Yeah, later. Tried a few more passwords, they all failed for who knows what reason. So, I called the help line: first option “having trouble with your log on?” Yep that’s me. Pregnant pause with occasional clicks, and all our service reps are busy with other clients…”. After 5 minutes, a recording gives me the “leave your number and we will call you back after a while” So, no humans to help, can’t get on the website I have used twice weekly for years… Just waiting for HEB

This app is terrible.
Nothing works. I first tried to update my store from a United Express location and am unable to, no matter what I try. I was also told I could refill prescriptions through the app (and was encouraged to), but how does that work? Because this app is so unintuitive that no one - not even a digital native like myself - can fathom how to get something done on it. It turns an already bad experience with United into an even worse one.

Horrible App
This app is infuriating. It constantly freezes, crashes, and takes forever to load. After I manage to complete my cart, I have to look it over because it WILL add items I did not select EVERY time. Then at pick-up, I have to double check my order because coupons or bogo offers are not honored. I like the store, but curbside is NOT convenient nor a pleasant experience. This app and the curbside pick up truly deserve 0 stars.

Very frustrating
Search function is lacking and many words must be exact (won’t find partial word). You can’t proceed with unavailable items in your cart yet the unavailable items are not editable in order to delete so you can’t proceed. It is also slow and won’t load at times.

Please someone fix this app
I love the store, I love the products, but every time I try to order streetside with this app, something goes wrong. The app won’t load, the time I reserved gets deleted, the rewards don’t show up, the payment won’t take, or the whole thing just doesn’t go through. It’s very frustrating. I have had to call the customer service number repeatedly for help . Or the store itself.

Ap is very glitchy
Spending time putting together an order, then it suddenly logs you out, says you are locked out, you reset your password, does it again…and again….This happens all the time. If not this, you lose you’re reserved time which ‘sells out’ but it’s not actually ‘sold out’. Store can’t accept it unless you order through ap. So, you quit and order elsewhere. Please fix this. So very frustrating.

Never used a worse app
This is the most silly and confusing app I’ve ever used! The old Market Street app was not good but so much easier to use. I more makes you go through hoops to get to the pharmacy area then that part of the app is a real mess. It’s almost like United said “let’s see is we can create the dumbest app ever and then force it on the customer base”. The only reason I use this is to refill prescriptions and that’s a real chore

Horrible app. Slow to load.
Oh this app is the absolute worst. There have been minor improvements to an update they made compared to a year ago, but the app is still very slow to use. Sometimes none of my deals populate, and my clipped deals don’t show up under my list. The app is just very slow. The coupons should be able to be organized into categories versus looking at all of them.

Worst grocery store app on the market
I have used all the supermarket apps and this is without a doubt the worst. Half the time it doesn’t load, the other half specific options do not work, and it is slow all the time. I like Market Street and the other United stores, but I sometimes go to competitors because they have a better app. They need a complete overhaul or just forget the whole thing.

Can not check out
The app is great but when you need to shop to pick up and go, it’ll do. I haven’t been able to use the app in about three months because when you go to pay, it doesn’t go through. It just keeps going back to the page where you put in your credit card information. I do not know who or how to contact someone to fix this glitch.

Recent Update
New update has locked me out of the app. The login page just keeps reloading after logging in!!! I use this apps for the pharmacy and coupons. I was trying to refill my meds before I go to the store so I could pick them up while I was there. Now I’ll have to make two trips because the PHONE NUMBER has been disconnected! How does a pharmacy have there number disconnected!?!?!

Can’t add Credit Cards
The app says there’s an issue with the credit card I entered and says to contact the card provider. I know the issue isn’t the card. I entered in the info correctly and it still won’t take it no tried multiple cards and entered that info correctly. I can’t order anything through the app because it won’t let me pay for it. Fix your bloody app.

One of the recent update has caused a glitch when I try to order. I’ve tried on 2 occasions and my order did not go through. United app seems to be working fine and this location is available on it.

Disappointing
This app is very disappointing. Need to add more products that the store has in stock. So frustrating that the products I use daily are not included in the app. Almost makes it impossible to shop online. Love everything else about Market Street though.

Useless App
This app is virtually useless: It’s slow most of the time. When loading an update, it takes forever to finish. Overall, it is difficult to read. The weekly deals are scattered (not in sync) as items due to expire are random. Trying to utilize this app is now even more frustrating as you no longer publish a newspaper ad.

Location location location
I do love market street (even though the prices are higher) but the app should include the isle that an item is located in. HEB does this and even Lowes does this. I think it would be a very easy addition to add to the app.

Horrible app, useless support
I can’t even access it despite the support desk setting a temporary password. As soon as I opened the app I was prompted to change the password (makes sense), but then repeatedly got an error message saying “Oh No!” Then “undefined”. I’m ready to transfer back to my old pharmacy, it’s a shame because otherwise the store is very good…

poor programming
this is not very user-friendly. Do you have to be exact on most of the stuff you search for and that can't be used sideways/landscape. I have to stand my tablet. Would be nice to be able to hold my tablet sideways in the landscape view to use it

doesn’t work
app doesn’t work at all. can’t even sign in. it just keeps “loading” and eventually freezes Market street’s website says i can check my pharmacy scripts and request refills on the app but it doesn’t ever give me an option to. won’t even let me change locations. literally the worst app ever.

Horrible app and website.
I try to first time shop for this store and I want it for pickup, so yeah I spent almost 1 hour adding items because the site is always so slow when I have to load each item. All my cart are gone and zero. Seriously I wasted time and day. So frustrating. No shopping for me in this store I guess.

I love Market street/United however the app is awful!
Trying to shop through the app is awful! The app freezes and most of the time will lose what is already in your cart. With every update I hope it is better but it only seems to get worse. I love Market Street and United but the app is awful!

Worst grocery app
I really like the Market Street stores. However their app is horrible. It frequently logs me out, then won’t accept my login credentials which have not changed. I try multiple times to reset the password but it never accepts the new password. I give up. Market street app is ridiculous. Kroger much better.
